Sebastian (10/5): Perfekter Ort für Liebhaber von Ruhe und Natur - Golden Rock auf Nevis ist ein absolutes Traumhotel und verdient eine klare 10/10. Die wunderschöne Botanik der Anlage ist einzigartig und schafft eine ruhige, magische Atmosphäre. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben sind der uns ermöglichte Early Check-in sowie das kostenlose Zimmer-Upgrade, die den Aufenthalt von Beginn an außergewöhnlich gemacht haben. Das Hotel ist ein Ort zum Entspannen und Genießen, den man unbedingt erlebt haben sollte. -
Ellie (10/5): The most perfect, relaxing stay - The hotel was stunning! Set in the jungle and in beautiful wooden cabins, it feels like low-key luxury. The restaurant was lovely, it’s quite popular on the island but the staff make sure hotel guests get good tables and are catered for. It’s very very quiet, so if you are looking for relaxation it’s perfect. The grounds are beautifully curated, it feels like you are staying in a botanical garden. The general manager was a gem, he sorted out a small issue with our room very quickly and was so hospitable for the rest of our stay, he couldn’t do enough to help. Can’t wait to go back one day! Some people would take issue not having AC, but it’s definitely cool enough and there is no reason to have them.

It’s inland and slightly high up so with this and the shelter/shadow of the gardens made it much cooler and breezy than lower properties. Yury (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent restaurant!!! A different vegetable soup everyday in the menu. Conch chowder is a famous and highly recommended!!! Staff is very polite and attentive and goes far beyond expectations. Hotel has accommodated all our extra requests. Hotel is located inside of the botanic garden, actually. Very nice. The houses are quite far from each other, we have never feel crowded. Pillows are great! In our room the ventilator was a little noisy. I think it was quite old.

Maria (10/5): A Hidden Jungle Retreat – The Perfect Place to Unwind and Recharge! - Golden Rock Inn is breathtaking! The property’s lush landscaping, eclectic decor, and serene ambiance make you feel as if you’ve stepped into a secluded jungle retreat. The peaceful pool area, combined with thoughtfully placed seating nooks throughout the grounds, creates the perfect setting to unwind—whether you’re soaking in nature or getting lost in a good book. A truly unique and tranquil escape! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious, with large, satisfying portions. Breakfast was included during our stay, and we also had our best dinner on the island at the hotel’s restaurant—it was unforgettable! Even though the property has WiFi, we truly felt off the grid—there were no TVs or unnecessary digital distractions in our room or around the property, allowing us to fully recharge and connect with each other and our surroundings. It was the perfect place to slow down and be present. There wasn’t anything I truly disliked about the property, but one thing to note is that there’s no air conditioning. However, with the ceiling fan, standing fan, and a constant breeze, we stayed comfortable at night despite the warm temperatures. If you’re someone who needs A/C, just keep this in mind—but for us, it wasn’t an issue at all!

It offers something quite different than other hotels in Nevis. The staff were exceptionally helpful and caring. Ross (9/5): Unique hotel in a beautiful setting - Beautiful hotel that is well-maintained. Hotel manager, gardeners, and restaurant team do a phenomenal job. Food is some of the best on the island and the setting is unbeatable. Some maintenance issues, but they were all quickly addressed. On some hot nights, it would be nice to have air conditioning.

Dianne (10/5): - This property is amazing, from the arrival to departure. The gardens are beautiful, people are amazingly hospitable, food taste homemade (you can taste the love in it), and it is safe. I highly recommend this property for your vacation! I’d only share that if you like to have air conditioning then I’d prepare to either send a mobile AC unit ahead of your arrival or, you should see if you can buy one here. The nighttime tropical winds are nice but if it’s humid outside, it can present some discomfort for the person who requires AC for sleeping.
Tracy (10/5): - The Golden rock Inn is a very special place. Up in the cooler rainforest on the side of Nevis Peak, it is a paradise of greenery and tranquility. The grounds are spectacular, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and extremely gracious, it feels like a private hideaway on a hillside with an absolutely, amazing restaurant to boot! We came for several quiet days after a stay at the Four Seasons, and it was the perfect counterpoint to a beautiful stay on Nevis. Highly recommend!
Gary (10/5): Golden Rock staff and property are special. It appears management and staff have a great relationsh - Excellent quality and service. We always tip above average for service. For that reason we don’t appreciate service charges.
Isabela (8/5): - Truly unique and beautiful place. It used to be a sugar plantation and still has the stonework, historical feel. The gardens are beautiful. The service was not great. I must say, Sara is awful. Luckily I was able to work with the general manager to book activities, such as the garden tour, and he was fantastic. There is not much to do either on the island generally or in the hotel itself, so I recommend no more than a 3 night stay. To the hotel, I recommend maybe implementing more activities that can be done on-property, and a better way to convey those to the guests (Sarah should not be working in a customer facing role).

Helen (8/5): Nowhere else like it. - We have stayed before and will likely stay again. The location/grounds are incredible, rooms are lovely and the management team are great. Incredible location for a pool, very relaxing. We struggled at night, we were sure the rooms had air-con but just 2xfans which on this occasion was not enough. Unfortunately the breakfast service is slow and not with a smile. The staff at another hotel on the island really made our stay, unfortunately not at Golden Rock. Maybe it was just because it was still a little out of season but they no longer had the phones in the rooms/by the pool to call for food/drinks which was a shame.

Jennie (10/5): - Our stay at the Golden Rock Inn was incredible. Words cannot describe how beautiful the property is. The restaurant, fish ponds, and courtyard are breathtaking. I couldn't help but take photos every time we walked through. The orchestra of birds during the day and crickets at night was mesmerizing. The garden tour is a must- our tour guide was amazing. From sharing ylang ylang and bay leaves with us to warning us of plants that can cause blindness, his wealth of information about not only the plants but the property and its history was incredible. The food was 5 star. Ivo, the general manager was so accommodating and pleasant. We had to leave a few days early because of a hurricane threat and he guided us through the process with genuine care and thoughtfulness. Our villa was simple and beautiful and the Le Labo toiletries were such an added bonus. No AC but overhead and ceiling fans did the trick. Front staff was super helpful and arranged taxis for us every day. The also arranged transportation to and from the airport in St. Kitts. Overall it was an amazing experience.

Ivo, the manager went above and beyond to help us retrieve some items we left behind at another resort while we relaxed at the pool. We had a very comfortable room with a nice patio on which we could sit and take in all the sights and sounds of nature. We even saw monkeys. The uniqueness, service and tranquility of Golden Rock will bring us back. we loved it.

Little things like drop your laundry in the hamper and it’s back folded on you bed that evening! Comfy rooms, no AC but high enough up that it was cool each night.

I was in awe as I walked around. no picture will do this location justice. prices were too high In all of the hotels/restaurants on Nevis, but it is money well spent.

Peter (10/5): We had a magical stay in a magical place! - On a scale of 0 - 10, Golden Rock Inn rates at least 45! Room was clean and superbly equipped -- and housekeeping kept it that way. ALL meals at the restaurant were equally superb. ALL staff were well-trained and always cheerfully friendly -- trying hard to make our stay enjoyable in every way. The complimentary laundry was most helpful. And really liked the way the concierge arranged all our off-site activities and the way the hotel paid for them as we went along. Nice to have all expenses on the final bill. Liked everything! Golden Rock Inn met the highest standards of hospitality In every aspect. Just wish we could have stayed longer ....
evan (8/5): - Amazing tranquil gardens. Its as if you're in a Rosseau painting. The food and service is amazing. The rooms are basic and simple. The beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas are a $20.00 15 min taxi ride away. The hotel is at the foot of an ancient volcano.

Cathleen (10/5): - I stayed at the Golden Rock Inn for 2 days and fell in love with the Inn. The property itself is lovely and the views are breathtaking. The rooms are well appointed and have nice touches like espresso coffee (french press) in the rooms. There is an extensive garden and a small using fed pool. Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. This is a quiet place to get away from everyday life. I plan to return.
Lauren (10/5): Estate with an incredible history - We stayed in their sugar mill suite and it was amazing! Parts of the estate were built in the early 1800s, but everything has been beautifully updated to showcase the style and architecture from the original plantation. The staff was very helpful in arranging transportation, providing a tour of the estate, and assisting when needed. We ate at the restaurant which was quite good. Overall the service was fantastic and the old buildings are incredible.
Julia (10/5): Stunning lush setting - What an absolute gem of a hotel. The setting on the side of the volcano in lush gardens and with the most beautifully and tastefully decorated sugar mill. This hotel could not have been more peaceful and tranquil.
