- Tan (10/5): - Thank you to Lorraine for making our stay a wonderful one. She waited for us although we were late to check in (we did inform her of this before hand). Read some of the negative comments and I was a little apprehensive when booking this spot. I believe It’s a family run business and that if you managed your expectations and behave in a kind and courteous way, you will be treated in kind and be rewarded with a wonderful stay. As with most of my Aussie friends and family, they don’t tolerate nonsense and why should they? I love it.
- Sharon (10/5): Ideal getaway - We enjoyed three nights at Karma Chalets. The cabin was very comfortable and well appointed. Secluded amongst beautiful trees with an abundance of bird life. Would definitely recommend and will return in the future.

I loved the two spacious comfortable bedrooms and two separate bathrooms with their own toilets. The living area is cosy yet has everything you need. And it's peaceful, even in overcast weather, sitting on the verandah overlooking the lovely view. Unimportant suggestions are for a better TV? Deeper cereal bowls? Bigger water glasses? Bigger mugs? We hope to stay at Karma Chalets again.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Four days here was a great experience for me and my family. We are a family of three and visited here in mid-August, and it was very cold and rainy in this area. So I spent a lot of time at home, and the fireplace in the accommodation were enough to keep the house warm, and $10 was enough to bring in enough wood for a day. This was the best memory, but the downside is that the second floor is warm enough, but the inside is not enough, so if your family is five or more, the people who sleep on the first floor will sleep in a slightly cold room, but there is an electric blanket, so I think it's enough to just sleep only in that room in this season. And we're back today, and all three of us have sore throats. Maybe it's because we love the warm fire stove so much that we can't ventilate properly. The bed upstairs is close to the roof, and the smoky smell of fire is gathered there. Everything was enough, and the rainy view from the balcony was wonderful, and the stars that were seen from time to time through the clouds at night were beautiful. I've had so many good memories for four days.

The views are outstanding, the chalet perfectly appointed, with everything you might need supplied. The bedroom is separated by sliding doors, the spa bath deep and luxurious and the wood burning fire, warm and comforting. We had drinks & breakfast everyday on the verandah whilst enjoying the views. The location is perfect & we will definitely return.

We both loved the challenge of lighting the fire and its a beautiful winters experience, even roasted the marsh mellows. Only a short drive to town, next door to a major winery and restaurant so plenty to do...Hey even old school DVD's

Only thing that was disappointing was the amount on toiletries and and cooking products - don’t know if this was due to covid but every place we have stayed at least has oil, butter etc but they had nothing and we had to go to the shops and purchase our own. There also was one tiny bar of soap, a small body wash, shampoo and conditioner - each no bigger than my thumb. Between 3 of us this was difficult. Other than that, the overall stay was great the place it’s self is super cute and ideal to escape the hustle and bustle :)

The owners were amazing and so helpful. The owner even ground some coffee beans for my friend. Kids loved watching the kangaroos and feeding the birds each morning. Would highly recommend.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - The chalets are set on a hill in tranquil surroundings close to Denmark. Kangaroos hop on the driveway and paddocks nearby and bird life visit each morning. I had a wonderful massage at the onsite day spa. The chalet was clean spacious and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back.

- Jac's (8/5): - The location was stunning & the Destiny unit comfortable, but the bed was awful & there was some mattress topper to try & make it more comfortable, but it was smaller than the bed. The 3 seater lounge was also broken, so very uncomfortable to sit on. There was a lovely pot belly fire, but this was in the kitchen area, would of been nicer if it was in the lounge area. The units were very tidy as were the grounds & it was a lovely secluded place to stay, but still close to lots of places.
- Paul&Claire (10/5): - Donna welcomed us on a bleak wintry afternoon with heating switched on ready for our arrival. Chalet well equipped and sooooo peaceful. Denmark is a little gem of a town , so many beautiful places to sit, relax and contemplate or to be active and engage in a multitude of activities. Four days weren’t enough. Must go back!

We could not make the 48 hours notice required to check in within a 3 hour window ending at 5.30pm. This led to feeling very uncomfortable about explaining yes I had read the email and yes I did understand the terms. Loved the chalet, not the lack of hospitality
- Prue (10/5): - We stayed in the Peace chalet which had a beautiful view through the trees to the inlet and had no other chalets next to it. Chalet was spacious with a wood fire and a very comfy bed! We loved waking up to the view and birds each morning. Owners were friendly and even made sure there was a fire grate for our baby and suggested child friendly activities nearby. Would stay there again!
- Dee (10/5): Beautiful getaway in the hills of Denmark - A great spot 5 minutes drive from Denmark town centre. There's plenty to see in & around the town. Chalets had everything we needed for our stay- a clean & well self-contained house. The kids enjoyed feeding the birds in the morning. Stairs were abit steep so probably not the best for very little kids but other than that can't fault it.

- Margaret (10/5): It was so peaceful and the views were fabulous. - The chalet was perfect and we had a service half way through our stay which was unexpected but fabulous (this is a bit of a bugbear for me as normally in self-contained places you don't get a service) - clean sheets bliss and the towels were fluffy and big and clean. We would recommend this to everyone - it was great
- Anita (8/5): Relaxing stay - Booked to stay for Christmas break although advertised as self catering the chalet had microwave and gas top hob only , no oven so could not cook a roast Christmas dinner as planned . Other that that the chalet was very comfortable and the views stunning . Very comfortable bed and loved the spa bath. Would stay again .
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not great service - Emailed request for extra guest and baby months in advance. They didn't update my booking with those deyails. Beds not made upstairs. Asked for early checkin 4 weeks ahead and customer service was dismissive and unaccommodating.
- Shelley (6/5): Beautiful surroundings - We had a great and relaxing stay in beautiful Denmark The chalets are a comfortable distance from town My only complaint is not enough wood for the fire had to buy extra in town and the gas bottle on the bbq was almost empty but managed to get dinner done Would stay again
- Luke (8/5): - Nice location, however the walk trails from your chalet need to be upgraded as the steps are large, slippery and deteriorated. Also some confusion with the original booking thru wotif as i was led to believe I'd played for 2 adults and 3 kids. Payed a deposit and remainder upon arrival. When leaving got hit more money up for the kids. Apparently ages 13 and 16 are adults. Over all happy but i believe they are overpriced for what you receive.
- liz (10/5): Very warm welcome by Bev - Wonderful warm restful relaxing place to rest your weary soul or just settle in and explore the surrounding areas. Onsite spa is a must try with the wonderful Denise taking special care of you. Overall we had a very relaxing enjoyable stay.
- vanessa (10/5): Very relaxing - We stayed in the Harmony chalet for three nights with our three children. The view is absolutely beautiful and the chalet was spacious enough to accompany our entire family. The kids loved the kangaroos and parrots which came to regularly visit. Lunch at Salt and Pepper next door was fabulous. A very relaxing and enjoyable holiday!
- E (6/5): Nice surroundings - Nice surroundings with the chalets being a little out of town. We often saw kangaroos foraging on the property. The owner was helpful in providing information. The quality comfort was disappointing. The place needs a revamp as the current furnishings are cheap and outdated. It had a confusing aesthetic as there's far too many different wood grains that furnished the interior. Perhaps when the property is sold the new owners can invest in a more aesthetically pleasing & comfortable holiday experience.

- Felipity (10/5): Great accommodation for families - Karma Chalets are a lovely place to stay. The Harmony Chalet was well appointed with everything you could need with the exception of a coffee machine, but it did have a kettle. Beds were comfy. There was a queen size in a private bedroom downstairs and 4 single beds were located in a bedroom and loft upstairs. Very spacious, beautiful views, quiet location that was still close to Denmark town - about 5 minutes drive. There are many good choices of eateries in Denmark. Checking in and out was quick and easy and the one staff I met was lovely. We would return here.
- Warren (10/5): A great weekend getaway - Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. Each chalet was secluded enough so as to feel you were there by yourself. Feeding the local 28's, doves and magpies in the late afternoon was fantastic (birdseed provided). Late afternoon/evening drinks and nibbles on verandah overlooking valley was most enjoyable.
