Guest Reviews
- Summer (10/5): Amazing hotel! - The best breakfast I have had/seen at a hotel in long time! The staff was very friendly and gave us some great ideas on things to do in the surrounding area. Definitely will be making this our hotel when visiting the cities. The cleaning staff does a remarkable job with the building and rooms too. Wasn’t even dust behind the tvs Nothing, it was great.

- Dwi (9/5): This hotel offers a calm and comfortable stay. It’s quiet, set away from traffic, very clean, and the staff are friendly - I really liked the hotel. It was quiet and set away from the main road. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Basically I don’t have any complaints about the hotel but the bathroom door won’t shut.
- Maxine (8/5): Brief but pleasant stay. Would definitely stay at this hotel again! - Breakfast offering was good. The staff person working that area was outstanding. It was very quiet for sleeping. And lastly, the front-desk staff were very friendly & welcoming! Nothing comes to mind.
- Brad (9/5): - Overall we were very, very pleased with the facility, staff, room and cleanliness. We'll stay there again.
- Eric (9/5): Friendly, accommodating, fantastic! - Fantastic staff, accommodated our very late arrival, clean, comfortable. Nothing we didn't like
- Ranae (8/5): -
- Alicia (10/5): - The front desk staff really made my stay! Very caring and professional! The breakfast was also pretty solid each day. Decent options and the breakfast staff were also kind. A “good morning” and a smile!
- Nicole (10/5): - Loved it! Very quiet, comfy, breakfast was great. Not to much to do around it, but you’re right next to the highway. Firm beds, which I personally prefer.
- Gahm (10/5): - Breakfast and great air conditioning Nothing
- Kay (10/5): - good location
good beds
- Keith (10/5): - Very nice place. They must have just remodeled because the mattress was new and vey hard. Good breakfast
- virginia (10/5): - Great stay.
- Aaron (10/5): I had an amazing experience great for anyone traveling and every guest there was there for business - The breakfast was good I had a mini waffle with sausage paddies as a sandwich with maple syrup and they have a good selection of coffee flavors I looked up the address through Booking.com and ended up being taken to the wrong place and they were these really sketchy apartments which was a little upsetting but once I found the hotel I was in a lot better of a mood
- Michael (10/5): - Overall a nice property
- ROBERT (10/5): - The property was very convenient for traveling tonSt Croix Falls, Stillwater, and Crystal. We did have a problem the first night when kids were pounding on our door after 10pm. After the 3rd time I went to the front desk where the host resolved the issue and the parents of the kids both apologized
- David (10/5): - Great stay
- Jan (8/5): All in all very good - Convenient. Quiet Shower in room didn’t work well
- Laura L (10/5): - Everything was great- quiet, clean and nice staff.
- Dawn (8/5): - Bed was comfortable and clean.
- Craig (10/5): - Very good! The staff were great and the hotel was clean.
- Deirdre (5/5): -
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Desk service and breakfast were great. My only complaint was our flat screen TV had a couple light spots on the screen (looked like glare from the lamps, but the spots were there with no lights on at all). Shared with the desk clerk on check-out, and she said they would get it looked at. Overall, a very good experience.
- Destiny (10/5): - Affordable and friendly staff 10/10!!
- Steve L (10/5): - The hotel was close to the highway and had restaurants nearby. The front desk people were awesome! Room was very clean and we also enjoyed to hot tub and pool.
- Norene (10/5): Nice way to end the day after walking 6 miles at the 3M Open in the hot tub and pool. - Very clean and all the staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good, nice variety to choose from. na
- Megan (10/5): - Nice, quiet. Friendly staff at front desk.
- Susie (10/5): - Clean, modern, and breakfast was very good. Would book again.
- Mary (10/5): Nice place to stay - Great location - safe and easy to access roads we needed. Hotel was newish and everything seemed clean and functional. Breakfast each morning had lots of choices and staff was super nice.
We were on 2nd floor and could hear kids in the pool a floor down. Wasn't late or a problem just would pick a differnt floor next time. Price was more reasonable than other hotels in the area.
- Duane (10/5): Stay in the Twin Cities - The Fairfield Inn-White Bear Lake, MN had an attractive lobby, complete with newspapers and coffee available. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with a variety of hot and cold items available, and all the items I tried were quite good.
- Lisa (10/5): Great Hotel - Our stay was amazing. One of the nicest hotels ive stayed at. Unfortunately we will not be returning as the beds were so hard i woke up stiff as a goat. I was so sore. Highly recommend if you like very firm beds!
- Ann (10/5): - This property was very quiet and we loved it! It was also clean and modern.
- ray (10/5): -
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Clean
- Leslie (2/5): - This absolutely the worst experience I have had in a hotel. From a very discouraging check-in, I have never heard so much "I can't do anything" in my life. My neighbor in 322 was literally pounding on the floor until after midnight and at exactly 6:05 each morning. Some vacation for me. And then I had the "scream queens". I know a wedding is a joyous occasion but screeching can be done the n the rooms. The front desk was totally unresponsive. I have stayed at this Fairfield Inn several times and I will never stay here again. I will that my friends will be aware of the non responsiveness of hotel staff. Never again.
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ronald (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keith (9/5): Superb -
- leroys73 (8/5): Good but Some small improvements would make it much better - Actually a 4-
I was going to give it a 3 because of the following but everything else was good. Needs 120v plug on each side of the bed. The outlets on the on side of the bed at the base of the light were too loose to hold a plug. We had to move the nightstand, unplug the clock to plug in a 3way adapter so we could use our CPAPs. Fortunately we always carry a 3 way adapter and a long 3 plug extension cord.
Why it was not given a 3.
Good lighting, good towels, clean, comfortable. Refrigerator was very small and no freezer. I would expect a Fairfield to have a little larger refrigerator. A freeze compartment would be nice. Otherwise a nice hotel with easy and friendly ck in. Breakfast was better than most.
- Zachary (10/5): - Very clean and staff was accommodating and kind.
- Mariam (6/5): - While i was there they were doing some construction and i heard about 40 minutes of construction noise above our room until we walked out for the day so not sure how long that went on but it was at 9am which is early to be dealing with.
- Donna (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, friendly staff & good breakfast in a clean dining area. Room was very comfortable & clean. Thanks to all who work there!
- Katarina (10/5): - Great
- Jim (9/5): Superb -
- Sharonda (10/5): - Great hospitality. Great service.
- Karin (2/5): - The room was dirty. I checked for bed bugs right away. It didn’t seem like they spread people out very well in the hotel. I didn’t feel safe, people lurking in the hallway that didn’t belong there. I took precessions in my room (covered peep hole in door, etc). Checked out early and stayed at another hotel.
- Nancy (10/5): - Comfortable rooms and close rmto shopping and restaurants
- Nancy (10/5): - Such a nice hotel and great location. Everything was clean and hot tub was really nice. Lots of fresh breakfast choices.
- Patricia (10/5): perfect - Accommodations and service were excellent nada
- David (8/5): - Property was clean ad the staff was very nice!

- Tom (10/5): - My room was very clean, comfortable bed, lot's of lighting, windows open for plenty of fresh air.
- Richard (10/5): - Great breakfast, 24/7 coffee in lobby, very helpful and attentive staff. Only knock was brown mold in the shower which was quickly resolved when the front desk was notified.
- Michell (9/5): Superb - The only thing I’d complain about was that the pool and jacuzzi were not working.
- LA'Shawn (10/5): Gymnastics stay - My stay was ok, the rooms were specious, the hotel clerks were helpful. The first aid kit was missing a lot of things. The pull out couch had some stains that resemble dried blood and brown stains as well. When I brought it to the clerks attebtion she showed empathy and asked if i wanted to switch rooms. Breakfast was tasty. Pool was ok.
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mathew (10/5): - Very nice and clean. Check in was fast and quick, room was perfect. Breakfast was great. Ate there on a Sunday morning and the breakfast area was busy. Staff was constantly checking the food and making sure nothing was empty. The Belgium Waffles where amazing.

- Jessica (9/5): Superb -
- Andria (10/5): - Very friendly staff and nice room. Breakfast was a 10/10!
- Josh (10/5): - I asked for a quiet room and got it! Overall seemed like a nice and quiet place which is great. Tv system was fantastic, logged into my accounts so that was super nice too. Everything was great
- Mary (9/5): Met all of my needs - Great options, good quality, pleasant staff Would have liked better lighting or mirror for makeup but otherwise room lighting was great
- Amanda (10/5): - Perfect for visiting family over the holidays.
- Roberta (10/5): Great location, beautiful accommodations tasty breakfast! - Everything about the place seemed new and top notch. It was very clean, very comfortable and homey. We were in town for a funeral and appreciated the king suite with a separate living room area. When a snowstorm blew in we were able to have pizza and salad delivered from a nearby pizza place, Red Savoy. It was fantastic. The breakfast at the hotel was also very good, especially when compared to similar establishments. There were many little extras for every taste. The coffee was good, bakery was fresh and eggs tasted like real fresh eggs. We highly recommend the hotel. We liked everything.
- Brittany (8/5): Perfect spot to spend with my Bae - Nice rooms. Nice hotel and location. The hot tub was way too small. Didn’t use the pool but was too small as well.
- Glori-Ann (10/5): - .
- Gene (10/5): - Just a nice hotel. Everything done very well.
- Ladanart (10/5): - Free bottled water.
- Ladanart (10/5): - Convenience. Like bottled water.
- Danny (10/5): - Extremely clean. Had a very rich feel considering the great price we received for it.
- Kimberly (8/5): - Property is fine. Staff was polite and helpful in recommending dining options nearby. Good coffee in the morning.
- michael (10/5): - Clean
- DUONIU (10/5): - Very good experience
- mark (8/5): - Noisy air conditioner fan above us it would run on for 20 seconds then off just back n forth all night long.
- Brown (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (10/5): - Clean roooms. Nice staff.
- Laurel (7/5): Good -
- Lisa (10/5): Business travel - Overall very clean, shower doors were water spotted and the outlet in the bathroom needed to be wiped clean (the top had a line of dirt. Also elevator corners need vacuuming. Breakfast taste and selection- Excellent!
Check in fast, easy and friendly.
I will stay again :)
- Carol (10/5): - I don't travel much but the HOT breakfast was outstanding and very delicious instead of a cheap continental breakfast. The location was close to shopping and various restaurants. The pool area was very clean. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I will be visiting MN for the holidays and plan to stay at this location.
- James (10/5): Friendly staff, clean facility, good price - Excellent!
- Sue (10/5): - Very nice place.
- Jon (9/5): Superb -
- Rickett (10/5): We loved breakfast!!!! - Everything!
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- scottk810 (2/5): Horrible hotel - The door closers are not set right. The doors slam shut very loudly making it hard to sleep. I mentioned this to the front desk and they said they are aware of it but won't fix it. There was also some sports team staying at the same time that I was. They took over the hotel. They were loud and obnoxious. The staff did nothing to get them in line. I tried to call the front desk and the line was constantly busy. I had to go to the front desk to complain and the employee looked at me like a deer in the headlights. This place is very poorly managed.
