• Nicolas (9/5): - Portal do Sol es muy bella y tiene playa propia.. Es la última playa de la "Bahia" donde esta Abrao, nadie camina por ahi, Tiene su propio muelle, y al ladito sitios bellos para snorrkelear Tambien tiene kayacs de uso libre (sin costo, reposeras) y un desayuno rico y abundante. Esta a 10 min caminando de Abaomzinho a donde se puede llegar en Kayac también. Las habitaciones son amplias, con refrigerador, aire, ventilador y secador de pelo. Todas con.vista impresiomante al mar y a pasos de la playa. Tiene un servicio de lancha cada hora hacia/desde Abrao .que es muy comodo, Esto es de pago (15 reales el tramo) pero realmente los valen. Sino se puede ir caminando (25 min). Las salidas de excursion en lancha te pueden pasar a buscar por la misma Posada y se pueden coordinar ahi o en Abaro. Estas lejos del bullicio de Abrao pero lo suficientemente a mano si queres ir a cenar, conpras etc. La distancia al pueblo suma y mucho. Todo vale la pena sin dudas. Cristina a cargo de la Pousada y Marcos el lanchero se llevan todos los premios.!. El refrigerador hacia algo de rudo, nada grave.
• Om (10/5): Muita paz e sossego em meio à natureza. - Eu e minha esposa ficamos muitos satisfeitos com a recepção, a localização, a praia particular, com a Cris que nos recebeu, uma simpatia de pessoa. O condutor do barco, "Elói" muito simpático e sempre pronto. Café da manhã muito bom, funcionários todos muito prestativos e educados. Recomendo. Lugar bem localizado, muita paz e sossego. Nada a reclamar.

• Mayra Rojas Jofre (10/5): - A Pousada Portal do Sol é simplesmente um lugar maravilhoso para se sentir como um verdadeiro local em Ilha Grande. A vista de frente para o mar é linda e muito relaxante. A equipe é super simpática, atenciosa e faz você se sentir em casa o tempo todo. O acesso livre aos caiaques é um grande diferencial e deixa a experiência ainda mais especial. Além disso, a pousada conta com um barco próprio que facilita muito o acesso ao centro de Abraão. O café da manhã é excelente, bem variado e delicioso. Sem dúvida, um lugar para voltar e recomendar!

The view from the balcony was amazing. The staff is very nice and helpful and owner Andreza is absolutely great. The place is quiet and clean. The boat service to the village works perfectly. It would be good to have some kind of shelf in the bathroom. Some nights you could hear loud music from the bar across the beach until the morning

Je recommande vivement au familles et au couple à venir séjourner dans cette hotel. Les chambres sont bien et espacés, les lits sont comfortable, et le personnel est vraiment au petit soin. Je retournerais ici.
• Bryce (10/5): Quiet slice of paradise. - What an amazing spot with an amazing team taking care of you. If you want peace and quiet but accessible- this is a great spot. We visited Vila Abrao only one night and while it was fun- we were thrilled to get back to our peaceful spot across the bay. No endless music playing to disturb the lapping of the waves which you can hear from any room as they all face the sea. And they have a great little beach - perfect for swimming. Andreza who runs things was so helpful in helping us book a boat to tour around and has created a tidy, friendly and calm atmosphere. Christina - who runs the kitchen - puts on an excellent breakfast spread and we ended up enjoying her excellent food most lunches and dinners (shrimp spaghetti and classic Brazilian meat, beans and rice and salad were highlights). By the end we felt like family and look forward to returning some day.

• Camila Chaia (8/5): - El personal que nos atendió en la pousada en todo momento fue muy amable y predispuesto a ayudarnos en todo lo que consultamos y necesitamos. El desayuno es muy completo y fresco. Las instalaciones de la posada son muy lindas porque tiene una playita de uso exclusivo para los huéspedes, entonces se está muy tranquilo ahí si uno no quiere movilizarse a otras playas. Tenes la opción de quedarte ahí si queres algo tranquilo, o bien cerca de la posada -ya sea caminando o en taxi-boat- hay otras playas con más bares y movida. Además, ofrecen servicio de cena si reservas con anticipación y la comida es típica de la zona, muy rica y abundante. Tiene un servicio de lanchita que sale cada hora para la villa de Abraao por lo que movilizarse es muy sencillo.

A solo 10 minutos en lancha de Abrao Me hubiera gustado que el servicio del restaurant a la noche fuera mejor. No ofrecen postre. Podrían iluminar de una manera más cálida el ambiente. Lo más cómodo es cenar en la posada, o sea que con muy poquito puede ser perfecto

• Rafael (6/5): A estadia na pousada foi triste. A estadia na Ilha é sempre incrível, estamos falando de um paraíso! - A praia é lindíssima, calma, um verdadeiro paraíso. Esse é o único ponto forte dessa pousada: a localização, perfeita para quem quer estar perto da Vila de Abraão e, ao mesmo tempo, quer estar em um local calmo e silencioso. Os pontos negativos da hospedagem são uma experiência à parte. Apesar de autointitular "Mini Resort" e de cobrar um alto preço, a pousada (com lotação máxima todos os dias) está muito longe disso. Toalhas velhas, gastas e com cheiro desagradável, toalhas de piscina/praia que não secam absolutamente nada, papel higiênico da pior qualidade, lixeiras de banheiro sem pedal funcionando, luzes brancas fortes, móveis bambos desmontando, um café manhã medíocre com sucos que mais pareciam água saborizada, escadas sem corrimão em pontos importantes, impossibilitando a locomoção de idosos e deficientes sem ajuda. Não há preocupação em tornar os quartos aconchegantes e funcionais. Estávamos em uma ilha, onde tudo é de difícil acesso e não há nos quartos uma cafeteira, um microondas, uma bancada ou mesinha, coisas simples (e de baixíssimo custo se pensarmos o valor da diária) que nos dariam maior conforto e autonomia. Não há sequer uma tentativa de decorar os quartos. Luzes brancas e fortes, tomadas caindo. O proprietário estava presente todos os dias e, ainda assim, não há gerenciamento das operações de atendimento e tampouco da equipe. A equipe é formada por poucas e maravilhosas pessoas, simples, que estão ali entregando o seu melhor e fazendo o que podem, o que sabem, além do possível, diante da visível exploração. Passamos 6 dias na pousada e testemunhamos uma exploração absurda. Alguns funcionários trabalhando das 7h às 23h, sem folga. Dormem em um pequeno alojamento construído em local insalubre, exposto ao sol, coberto por telhas de amianto. Não há direitos ali, apenas exploração; logo, não há como avaliar bem um local que trata assim seus colaboradores. Como essas pessoas vão estar bem, felizes, se estão expostas a condições inumanas de trabalho e existência? Todos acumulando funções! A gerente estava sempre ausente e, quando apareceu, nada mudou. Seguiu o modo da operação: tratar funcionários feito animais e hóspedes feito gente. Melhorem! Sejam justos!
• Caroline (8/5): Muito bom - A pousada está localizada em um local muito calmo, é excelente para relaxar na praia particular andando de caiaque ou mesmo curtindo as águas calmas. O quarto com varanda é maravilhoso! Viajei pra descansar e realmente consegui. Acabou que me planejei pra fazer passeios, mas poderia ter ficado quietinha na pousada que teria sido bem legal também. O atendimento é excelente e eles são muito acolhedores e agradáveis. O marinheiro também é muito gentil! Eu achei o preço alto, o que já era esperado pelo padrão da pousada, que tem boa estrutura, quarto com varanda e praia particular. Porém, o café da manhã não atendeu às expectativas, principalmente em relação à limpeza e à higienização dos alimentos. Como sugestão, seria interessante oferecer um ou dois trajetos de barco incluídos na diária, em horários fixos. Como a pousada não fica no centro e a maré sobe, nem sempre dá para fazer a trilha, que também pode ser cansativa para algumas pessoas. Cada transfer para Abraão custa 30 reais por pessoa (ida e volta), então um casal gasta 60 reais apenas para ir até o centro.
• Andreas (10/5): Erholsame Tage auf der Ilha Grande - Die Anlage ist ganz wunderbar, einfach aber sehr gemütlich und der Blick aus dem Fenster/Balkon wenn man zur Tür hereinkommt nicht zu überbieten. Der Urlaub fängt ihn dem Moment an, wo man von Marcos am Pier aufgesammelt wird und mit dem Kutter bequem die Bucht überquert. Die Anlage profitiert sehr davon dass sie am Ende einer Sackgasse liegt, sie ist sehr privat, es kommt niemand vorbei und man hat den Garten/kleinen Sandstrand ganz für sich, im Gegensatz zu den anderen Stränden. Ein großes Plus ist zudem die sehr familiäre und freundliche Atmosphäre die von allen Mitarbeitenden geschaffen wird. Alle haben immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen, alle sind immer hilfsbereit und die Sprachbarrieren ist dank Übersetzungsprogramm schnell überwunden. Alles war gepflegt, bequem und sauber, das Frühstück gut und die Hilfe bei der Organisation der Ausflüge sehr hilfreich. Wir hatten sehr erholsamere Tage und würden sofort wieder dort absteigen

Amaneces con una postal increíble y siempre Marco está dispuesto a traerte y llevarte a la ciudad en bote, aunque también hay una caminata para hacer. Desde ahí te pasan a buscar con las excursiones y estás cerca para iniciar varias caminatas, como la Lopes Mendes. Había algunas cosas que estaban poco mantenidas, como reposeras rotas. También recomendaría agregar un cartel de las opciones de desayuno, porque me serví algunos alimentos creyendo que eran otros. La internet andaba mal, pero creo que es problema de la isla en general.

Tout est en décrépitude , même le vieux rafio qui vient vous chercher à Abraao. C’est dommage car le site est très sympa mais tout mériterait d’être rénové .Même à 100€ la nuit le rapport qualité prix est mauvais. Le personnel est adorable mais cela ne rattrape pas le reste . les bons avis laissés par les autres voyageurs nous laissent vraiment déconcertés

• Eva (8/5): Avkopplande plats med byn inom räckhåll. - Utsikten och lugnet. Balkongen med havet framför. Vänlig personal. Kajaker och kanoter till förfogande. Det var väldigt kallt och fuktigt på rummet. Frukosten ok men fylldes inte alltid på när något tog slut.

La habitación que alquilamos estaba subiendo varias escaleras. Sería bueno que comenten esto al ofrecer las habitaciones. El servicio fue excelente, muy amables y atentos.

Aconselho deixar avisada a hora de chegada para que o barco busque na ilha no horário combinado e não fiquem esperando. O local onde fica a pousada tem bastante umidade, então era um lugar mais fresco e tbm achei que influenciou no conforto dos lençóis que ficavam gelados. Não me incomodou mas meus amigos acharam a cama dura. De resto, foi maravilhoso. A pousada disponibiliza caiaque para passeio e toalhas a vontade. Ótimo custo benefício. Achei que valeu a pena. Voltaria.
• CARLA (6/5): - O atendimento é ótimo. Todos os funcionários extremamente solícitos e simpáticos. Senhor Marcos sempre disponível para nos buscar na vila do Abraão. Vale ressaltar que o que é explanado no aplicativo acerca do transporte corresponde apenas a chegada e saída. As demais saídas de barco para vila do Abraão é cobrada uma taxa de 30,00 por pessoa (ida e volta). Ou seja, para sair tem duas formas: ou sai pela trilha que dura em média 30min de caminhada (pela mata) ou por barco. Para quem gosta a cama é de espuma bem dura (quem tem coluna podre agradece), mas não são todos que se agradam. Por ser uma pousada numa ilha tão bonita, esperávamos mais do conforto do quarto. Chuveiro é elétrico, porém a água com pouca pressão. Moveis rústicos e alvenaria simples. A localização e a vista é inquestionável no quesito beleza. Mas, acredito que valeria muito a pena os donos investirem mais nos quartos.

Quartos e o café da manhã excelentes, a cozinha oferece jantar e almoço sob reserva, isso facilita muito a estadia e a comida é feita na hora. Recomendo e com certeza voltaremos! A praia de Guaxuma é linda e é possível observar peixes e até estrela do mar vimos por lá!

• Alessandra R (10/5): Viagem inesquecível - A pousada é perfeita para quem busca a beleza e tranquilidade em Ilha Grande. Quartos bem espaçosos e com uma vista privilegiada para a praia particular. A comida é feita com muito capricho. Para as corridas até a vila do Abraão, podemos contar com o barqueiro Marcos. Tivemos um dia inteiro de chuva e nos salvamos com a smart TV do quarto, minha Netflix foi companheira. Da pousada saímos em uma trilha bem tranquila para a praia da Crena e de lá outra trilha para Abraaozinho. Aventuras que fazem a diferença na viagem. Ah, estão em reforma, 3 novos quartos com uma vista de tirar o fôlego estão a caminho. Gostaria de compartilhar fotos mas o app hoteis.com está com problemas (tem acontecido com frequência).
• Ruben (10/5): - Nice and cozy hotel with private beach. Staff is excellent and very welcoming.
• Kristina (9/5): Great hotel with the private beach and amazing staff - The property has amazing views, private beach and you can use they kayaks to swim around. You can access the hotel only by boat however there is a sailor with a boat at the hotel all the time and trips from and to hotel from Abroaa are actually super nice especially at night. It was the best decision to stay at this hotel.
• Andre Scalco (10/5): Fantástica - Simplesmente incrível esta pousada do Alexandre/Andressa…..a começar com sua localização e praia ,quase que particular….a pousada ainda dá o transfer de ida e volta aos seus hóspedes da Vila do Abraão até a pousada….acreditamos não ter outra nem parecida em Ilha Grande
• Patrícia (9/5): Perfect haven to relax - Super calm place, away from all the action in Abraão, which was great for us. There's a private beach, and the Pousada has kayaks we can freely use to explore nearby places (we went all the way to Abraão). Still, going to Abraão regularly was no issue as there's a boat that makes the trip regularly, charging 15 reais a trip per person. Breakfast was nice and varied, and the rooms were great (with a great view from the balcony and large areas). There's also a drying rack, which is super useful. Our only issue was with the shower. If too many people showered, or for too long, the water would be cold. I guess this is not an issue during the summer, but we went in July so it was not pleasant.
• Tim (8/5): - The staff looked after us very well - they all acted as if they were all owners! We also particularly liked: the use of the kayaks (with life jackets), being able to reheat our extra food, being allowed to drink our own wine with our meals, and them arranging our day excursion - right to/from our doorstep.
• Kemran (6/5): Pleasant - Beautiful spot. Quiet. Good swimming. Free kayaking. Communication for English speakers was limited. In our room it was indicated the boat to town was on the hour from the resort & 15 min past in town. However, it was only after waiting a number of times (accumulatively hours) that we were told we needed to What's App staff. We weren't even given the What's app number until after writing numerous messages on the Booking.com message app. I suggest only staying here if you don't mind waiting at a jetty for long periods, you are a bit stranded. The walk is at least 30 min, and difficult in the dark, as it is not well maintained. Breakfast was a bit unorganised, we had to find the bowls and granola ourselves one morning.
• Rachel (8/5): Great location, friendly team, chill holiday - Great location, close to main town but quiet. Really appreciated the kayaks available to use at anytime. Also liked that there was a TV and good internet for the rainy day. Staff are really helpful, helping to book trips. The view from the rooms is perfect and plenty of places to sunbathe or relax in the grounds by the water.
• Marie Anne (10/5): - Waterfront property with gorgeous views, small beach and a gorgeous lawn. Andresa and the staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Easy boat ride to the main village. The rooms have a nice balcomy overlooking the sea. Free kayaks to paddle to a nearby cove. Nice breakfast. The rooms could definitely use a little update.

• Dennis (1/5): Extremely overpriced and very dirty accomodation. Would NOT recommend to anyone. You are warned. - The location was good. Private beach and easy to reach the village Abrao with a 10minute boat ride. Fabio the boat guy was nice and friendly. Kayak use was free. Balcony with sea views was great. Normally I never leave a review even though the experience was bad. I make this exception to warn people. This accomodation is way overpriced and should be half the money. Our experience in a nutshell: 1. Sand in bed on arrival and stains on the pillows. 2. Ants in the bed and on the walls. 3. Spider webs in the shower. 4. Humid smell in the room. 5. Fungus on the mirror. 6. Refrigerator with rust on it and extremely dirty inside. 7. Everything extremely outdated. Last maintenance was in the 80s probably. 8. Water bottles in the refrigerator you have to pay for without mentioning it. You will notice on check out. 9. Wifi not available because of the bad connection. 10. Breakfast was very limited, especially for the price of the accomodation. We drank the coffee, ate the mango and went to the village for breakfast. 11. Everywhere warning signs about saving water, no daily clean towels to save the planet while you know that it is only for their own economic reasons. 12. Kayaks are free available but ALL lifevests are totally ruined and ripped open. All in all it was a very bad experience and I cannot believe people leave positive reviews. The island itself is one of the most beautiful islands I’ve been and I traveled alot in my life. The owners should take a good look at themselves asking so much money for a clearly neglected accomodation. I regret that I didn’t take pictures to upload here so you can see for yourself.

Quarto amplo e confortável, roupas de cama e toalhas muito cheirosas, atendimento nota 1000. Café da manhã básico, mas suficiente! Os funcionários são extremamente gentis e prestativos. A gerente, Sra. Andressa uma simpatia, muito solícita e presente! Destaque também para a funcionária Jaqueline, um amor de pessoa e o marinheiro Sr. Luiz, muito prestativo também! A praia é linda!!!! Da para ter acesso a outros locais da ilha através de uma trilha que recomendo fazer somente durante o dia. Há também um barco particular para ir até a praia de Abraão por R$ 15,00, cada percurso! No entanto, se for durante o dia a trilha em caminhada leve demora uns 30 minutos. Pretendo voltar em breve e super recomendo!

• Regina Celia (8/5): Pousada Portal do Sol - Quartos simples porém bons, a pousada está situado no canto da ilha, com “praia particular”.Muito boa a localização para quem quer isolamento e sossego. Mas existe à disposição do hóspede um barco da pousada com sistema leva e traz, porém cada ida vc paga $15,00 e cada volta $ 15,00. Caro,para quem se locomove para o centro de Abraão. A outra alternativa é ir e vir por uma trilha que não aconselho. De difícil acesso e escura. A locomoção deveria estar informada aos hóspedes, pois é um custo alto para quem não está contando com esse extra. E a pousada conta com 6 suítes na parte inferior e 3 na parte superior, outro detalhe que não nos é avisado que as suítes da parte superior contam com 70 degraus em uma subida íngrime. Não recomendo absolutamente tb. Café da manhã mediano não há sistema de refrigeração, então as frutas e queijos ficam super quentes. Do mais a pousada é bem cuidada, seus proprietários extremamente solícitos, educados e prestativos. O lugar é muito bonito.

Único ponto a ser observado é que por se tratar de uma pousada afastada da ilha a mesma tem um serviço de barco porém é cobrado o valor de R$15,00 por travessia por pessoa, caso acho que para os hóspedes o valor deveria ser bem melhor ou caso o hospede ficasse hospedado a partir de 03 diárias não ser cobrado pela utilização do translado toda vez que usar, não é uma crítica, apenas uma sugestão para essa pousada incrível.

The manager was very welcoming and friendly and she helped us arrange our boat tour. The location was excellent. We loved taking the boat into town for dinner and one evening walked the path from the hotel to town, also fun.

Excentré du centre, mais très accessible avec sa navette, cet établissement est un vrai havre de paix, avec de multiples activités inclues : kayak, billard, plage privée, plongée ... Petit déjeuner très appréciable, et possibilité de dîner sur place. Chambre avec vue sur l’ocean ... Bref, nous ne pouvons que recommander Pousada Portal do Sol !

• Leana (10/5): Magical, dreamy place - What a magical place! We had an amazing NYE and weekend here. The breakfast is incredible. Fresh eggs, baked goods and the ripest, most delicious fruit you have ever tasted. The owner/manager Andreeza couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. She helped us book water taxis and tours (and they picked us up/dropped us off directly at the hotel so no need to taxi to Abraão Village first), allowed us to hang out on the beach before/after our check-in and out, and prepared the most amazing New Year's Eve dinner for her family and all of the guests at the pousada. The views are jaw-droppingly incredible from here, with the bay, the mountains, and the sunsets/rays of sunlight over the mountains. It was dreamy. The room is a little rustic, but that's to be expected staying in the jungle. Bug repellent is key. The food and the drinks are super reasonably priced and delicious. The capirinhas were actually too strong for me, but they were affordable and tasted great! You cannot beat staying here to have the little beach and the amazing views, and it's great to not be in the middle of the crazy in the village, but it's easy to get over there in the taxi boat for dinner, etc. I also loved their water conservation efforts. Highly recommend!
• Carole (10/5): Island paradise - This place is really special for a place to get away from it all. You are away from the main town and can only really get there by boat so be prepared for that. However the hotel offers a boat service which will get you there in just a couple of minutes and isn't very expensive, or if you're feeling adventurous you can use the canoes that they have free of charge. It's well worth it to have the private beach and amazing views of the island. We even found ourselves swimming right beside a turtle one day! The staff are very friendly and helpful - contrary to what other reviewers have said, we didn't find it a problem that they don't speak much English. We don't speak any Portuguese, but made an effort to try a few words and with a lot of pointing and smiling we got on just fine. Definitely recommend this place.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - De info op de Expedia site moet duidelijker. Dit hotel zit op een mooie locatie maar je kunt er alleen met een taxiboot vanuit de haven komen (telkens halen en brengen). Er is een looppad naar het centrum (half uur ongelijkvloers stijgend / dalend pad), maar dit kan alleen overdag. In het donker niet mogelijk. Het personeel en de eigenaresse spreken alleen Portugees, geen Engels.
