Guest Reviews
- Kirt (10/5): - Totally safe area. Rooms clean well maintained but the biggest draw of this site is the exceptionally welcoming owner. Friendly, accommodating and fun. It was just nice to be treated nicely. These days kindness wins every “hand” for me.
- Lou (8/5): - Breakfast was small but adequate and clean. The woman who greeted us when we checked in was very nice and efficient.
- Peggy (8/5): - Ice machine was not working. The property surrounding the hotel needed care.
- Aaron (10/5): - Outside window could use a wash
But the place was clean and comfortable
- Mason (10/5): - Very clean rooms, friendly staff. Exceeded expectations.
- Gregory (8/5): Worth the price - This is an economical option for a weary traveler. The service was great, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient. The hotel is older, but well-maintained, clean, and safe.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good value - Affordable accommodations conveniently located on Main Street in Delta. Room was spacious & comfortable & had all the basic necessities for a short-term stay. There's a free continental breakfast service in the morning & free wifi & parking.
- Terry (6/5): The rooms were ok; the information not so much. - When I booked through Hotels.com, the site said each room had three queen-size beds. When I spoke to the motel desk clerk on another matter, she said there were only two queen beds per room. If I hadn't spoken to the clerk, I would have been very upset to find only two beds upon check in. Hotels.com needs to get the information right.
The rooms were ok, but the pillows were a little small.
Also, nowhere on the website did the motel say there was a continental breakfast. That would have been nice to know before hand.
Please get the information correct so we know what we're getting and can plan accordingly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good value - Good value & conveniently located along Hwy 50/Main Street. Room was comfortable, clean & ideal for what I was looking for. Free, on-site parking & wifi were nice positives.
- Stacy (10/5): - Thank you
Nice room
- Bobbi (8/5): - The room was very clean. Check in easy.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Clean room. Super loud and no coffee.
- donald (4/5): - Woke up in morning with 4-5 bites above my right ankle. Never experienced this in the many hotels I’ve stayed over 50 years. Could be bed bugs, not sure, won’t risk that again.
Breakfast was mediocre - virtually no protein except milk, mostly sugar laden treats, juice.
On the positive side, owner was extremely nice, bed was comfortable and no road noise. AC unit’s cooling abilities were suspect. Took a long time to start cooling. Set temp at 70 and never saw room temp drop below 75. Water pressure the best I’ve seen in a long time!!
Thought prices for the 2 hotels in Delta were excessive for the area. Overpriced, possibly no competition, had to stay there given the distances I was driving on 2-day trip.
- tod (6/5): - V
- shirley (8/5): - This is an exceptionally clean hotel.
- Jerold (6/5): - Clean, but otherwise average mom and pop motel. Noisy clients at night.
- Paul (4/5): - First room I was given was not even made up. Second room looked made up but there was a 4 pack of beer and 2 whiskey boxes left. Also, no remote for the tv. The bed had the most disgusting smell on the left side. In the morning shower, the tub was slimy and slippery, obviously not scrubbed. I have stayed at several hotels that were less than hade the cost and in much better shape. I would not recommend this hotel even for a thick skinned solo traveler.
- Stacy (2/5): - They did not honor the reservation. They are overbooked and said it’s Expedia’s fault. I called you to report it and was cutoff when you put me on hold. Even after I confirmed my number. You never called back and I am requesting a refund immediately.
- Diana (4/5): - Very Old Property
- Wanda (10/5): Bargain in delta for $100 - High price but considering 5000 employees at near by power plant being built, it might have been a bargain !! Nice staff. Clean comfy room.
- Martha (6/5): - Rooms were not ready more than an hour after check in time.
- James (8/5): - Surprised by staff and the obvious efforts to maintain the older building. The accommodations were small, but clean and comfortable. Price was favorable and we would definitely return when in the area.
- Michael (10/5): - The employees was really nice and helpful. I would stay again if I'm in town for work.
- Jose (8/5): - I don't have any major complaints about this place. This is a no-frills clean two-story road budget comfortable "motel" favored by one or two nights passers-by that, with some basic maintenance work like fresh spackling and a little paint can be elevated to a great 3 budget hotel in a small city like Delta, that screams for competition. We needed to stay there. This was our second choice. The first one was the Days Inn, a block or so away. After staying in both, and traveling for ten days the beautiful Southern Utah, we decided to come back to this one so we can spend some time with our Delta City friends before driving back to Salt Lake City on our way to New York.
- Mindy (2/5): Moldy, dirty, and disgusting. - I have so many more pictures and videos of this disgusting place. The owner refused to give me my money back and I did NOT stay here. I left as soon as I found another hotel room. The owner owes me $336.
I found hair, pubic hair, bugs, dirt, mold, more mold, water damage, and exposed drywall and holes in the walls and doors. This was the worst room I have ever seen in my life. I have reported them to the health department and I hope they are inspected and shut down.
- Stephen (10/5): - The budget motel is very quiet. And the staff is friendly.
- Royal or Carla (10/5): - We were in town for a motorcycle race. It worked great for us.
- ricky (10/5): - Older hotel but clean nice hot shower bed is comfortable friendly staff would stay again
- Joel (4/5): - Drunken guests kept me awake most of the night. I paid for my dogs, but then I got a call from the desk telling me to pay for my dogs when I was ready to go to bed. Hmm.
- John (10/5): - Room was nice, was quiet bed was comfortable.
- Joseph (8/5): Better than most, but could use improvement - Customer service could be improved, but for the price, overall much better than most of the other two dozen hotels that we stayed at traveling across the country.
- rick (2/5): - this was by far the worse place we have ever stayed in, not only was it dirty, including an inch of dirt and cobwebs and fingernail under the bed, there was black hair all over the shower, and we are blonde. the toilet didn't flush and there was mold on the ceiling and walls of the shower
- robert (10/5): - It is an older property but the owners have done an excellent job of keeping it clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and work hard to make their place welcoming. I have been staying there for my regular visits to Delta for 10 years.
- Donald (8/5): A 3 Star Hotel that does it WELL - When you are on US 50 (The Loneliest Hgwy in the country), you don't have a lot of options. This Delta, UT location is pure and simple a 3 star hotel. However, they do it well. It's clean, comfortable, free parking, block off the highway, free / simple breakfast. It served us well.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - One of the beds was a horrible spring bed! This hotel could seriously use a remodel.
- Charles (6/5): - The property was comfortable. We scheduled three nights for the work we were there to do in the area. At the end of the first day, we had finished the work we had went there to do. We asked the manager that night if we could cancel the next two nights. We were told that the payment had been made to Expedia and we would have to get a refund for the next two nights from Expedia if we wanted to cancel.
- Carolyn (8/5): - nice place,
- Ferris (8/5): - Clean sheets, carpet and bathroom. Quiet room
- Scott (2/5): - Walked into a room that was close to 100 degrees because ac was shut off intentionally the hallways were about 100 degrees so they can save money
- Randy (10/5): - It's a basic motel but for one night on the road I don't need a fancy place. I would stay there again.
- David (4/5): - Room was in serious need of repair and there was no service by staff after checkin.
- Roberto (10/5): - Good Motel & Great customer service
- Fay (10/5): Quiet, safe, comfortable - Excellent motel - quiet, comfortable, safe
- Dan (8/5): The Sink - The sink didn't have the little knob to pull up that lets the water drain. I had to wedge a large bobby pin under the stopper after I pried it up to let the sink drain.
- Gladys (10/5): - No comments
- Cullen (8/5): - Good
- Craig (2/5): - Hair in both beds, blood on the ceiling
- Michael (10/5): - We had a king room, and we were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. Not Marriott fancy, but the bed was comfortable and it had a nice big smart TV. The bathroom was clean. Nothing special but we were comfortable and will stay there again next time we’re in Delta.
- TERESA (4/5): - I booked a king and they didn't have one clean.
- LaDell (6/5): - It was clean and the beds were good.
Bathroom was cramped and outdated but it was ok.
- Kathleen (10/5): Simple clean hotel - Hotel room clean, quiet and exactly what we needed for our brief visit. Hotel front desk lady very nice. Would stay here again.
- Sharlynn (6/5): - Convenient location and friendly staff, but due to a combination of poor insulation and multiple inconsiderate other patrons, it was very noisy.
- ADRIAN (8/5): - Property needs updates. We stayed three nights and our bedding/sheets were never changed.
- Oscar (2/5): - You get charge for every towel you use and it’s very dirty. No continental breakfast
- Sara (6/5): - The motel was very clean. Very clean! The linens, sheets, towels were amazingly clean and fresh. The bed was comfortable.
But the fixtures, furniture, etc were old fashioned and in poor repair. The was a huge gap in the door. The ceiling had unskilled patch jobs. It looked unkempt, regardless of how clean everything was. Breakfast was the traditional cold cereal. It was noisy due to thin walls, we could hear every word of our neighbors conversation. The stairs were noisy and creeky. It was a good value for money, but would not recommend it to anyone. The whole town seemed lost in the 60's, with nothing bright or welcoming.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice place to spend the night
- Violet (8/5): - Dryer needs work
- robert (8/5): - Room was clean. Area was safe and well lit. Many dining options close by. It is an older building but it seems to be well taken care of.
- Jennifer L (4/5): Worst check in experience ever - After the owner saw the price I pay, he asked me immediately how I got the price. He said that he didn’t have such price. I told him I booked it through hotels.com and he said that he needed to find out how they got that price for me. I asked him if we can be checked in first and he said NO. He continued saying that if he checked us in and we’re done then he had no one to hold upon. Then he began to make phone call and made us wait while he’s on the phone. He said that hotels.com did this to him many times. Then my husband said that he should not treat customer like he did. We told him that he should check us in first and deal with Hotels.com later. He refused, which got us mad. After arguing sometime, he checked us in. I don’t think he should be in hotels.com system because he tried not to honor the price we got online. He gave us a lot stress during our vacation.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not again - Run down hotel. It cost us more to use this hotel than if we get into a lot better place.
- Michael (10/5): a First-class effort, which succeeded - in comfort - VERY comfortable bed; `slept right through the night.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - One night stay, good price very clean and the gentleman behind the counter was very friendly. There was just cereal for breakfast.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was okay
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The owner was very patient with some problems we were having with our bank. Great property and great staff.
- Maricela (10/5): For a one night stay - It is an older motel. Don't expect modern. So keep that in mind when rating the room. It is simply outdated. The a/c worked, the bed was comfortable. It had a good microwave and mini fridge. Bathroom was clean. All lights worked. It was functional. We were greeted by a kind man at the front office. He even made sure to ask us the next morning if everything was ok and if we slept well. For breakfast dont expect much. There's a microwave and a toaster if you bring your own food. They have 3 types of dry cereal, and packets of oatmeal and if you're lucky, a gallon of milk in the fridge. For a one night stay it wasn't bad at all. Everything worked, and the host was kind. That is all that mattered to us.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great value. Nice clean rooms with chairs and table.
- Andrew (8/5): Great value - The hotel is not new but was clean, comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. We would definitely stay again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great place. Rooms very clean. Good a/c
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The minifridge was a bonus. When the a/c malfunctioned we were moved to a new room no hassle. We don't look for much besides a clean room. Very pleased with our stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice and clean good night sleep worth the money even if older motel
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Low prices made my trip more affordable, but the building is quite old so I could hear every sound that the other guests made.
- David (8/5): I'd return - Trying times. Great for a one night stay. Breakfast was pretty much nonexistent. Cereal, oatmeal a few very ripe but not over ripened bananas, one older apple and empty tins for pastries(?). That was a small negative from an otherwise very pleasant stay. Good internet in room 112. I would stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The manager, Mayur Thaker was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and spacious and had refrigerator, microwave, etc. Overall a very positive experience. I had a dog and paid the $12 which was nominal as the room was only $59 for 2 queen beds; a good value.
- Rick (6/5): - Not bad for the price. Some trashy guests starting crap with others; but this is not management's fault.
A/C not great.
- William (2/5): - The bedding had not been washed. The toilet didn’t work surfaces were horribly dirty. There was a white powder in the floor esp between the beds.
- Dan (8/5): Good Clean Bed and Carpet - The bed seemed very good, the air conditioner was smooth running and fairly quiet, the room clean, carpet had just been cleaned. They advertised breakfast and even advised us of it for the following morning. However, there was no coffee, no rolls, no bagels, etc. They did have a half gallon of Sunny D and some cold hard boiled eggs. There were just a few small packages of tiny sweet rolls, but they didn't last long.
- Jason (4/5): At least the ac was good. - The stairs were steep and the hallway creaked so bad it was scary. The toilet was clogged from the moment we got there and never flushed well. My husband complained and was handed a plunger.
- William (6/5): - Little rundown, could be COVID related. No coffee on site.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It had running water oh and ice, bed.
- Irina (10/5): - Quiet and clean
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was rine
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This is a very old motel, but pretty clean. I think it is well cared for.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - We have stayed here before on our trip to Colorado so we knew it was very basic. The motel is very dated, but beds and bathroom were clean and it fit into our trip plans. Not alot of options in that area.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Clean but loud bathroom fan - It was clean. My only issue was the bathroom light had a fan that was very loud.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The whole motel smelled like cigarettes bad I have two kids and none of us could sleep because of it. My son puked and I had the worst migraine that also made me sick the whole next day. I ended up having to go home allot sooner then I had planned because i felt so sick
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Comfortable beds but really run down property. Shower head positioned for short people.
- Tom (8/5): Trip to see Snow Geese - We had king bed. Pillows perfect, room warm on arrival. Shower had full stream with instant hot water.
We arrived about 6 pm. They checked us in promptly. Check out was easy too.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Overall, the motel is a little nicer than other motels I’ve stayed at. The room was spacious and overall looked tidy. Nothing glaringly wrong. Every single motel hallway always seems to have a smell, so it wasn’t much different. The person at the window was not wearing a mask even though it is required in the county.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Will do in a pinch... - The room was acceptably clean for the most part (except for the pretty filthy doorjambs). Part of the ceiling in the shower was detaching and the cupboard under the sink was missing the baseboard. The heater worked well and the bed was comfortable enough. The place feels slightly overpriced. I probably won't be staying there again.
- Jennifer (6/5): A little run down, but ok for one night. - This hotel is in need of a face lift, both inside and out. The lobby smelled strongly of food and air freshener. The room was decently clean, but in need of a major upgrade! At a minimum, there were repairs that needed to be done. The ceiling was crumbling, there was no cover over the light fixtures in the bathroom, and the bathroom outlet did not work, so I could not blow dry, or curl my hair in the morning. There was not an elevator, so if you have a lot of stuff, make sure you request a room on the 1st floor. The continental breakfast was a nice bonus. Overall, I would say the stay was ok for one night, but I wouldn't want to stay any longer.
Oh, and since this is Utah (we were passing through, and did not realize this) NOTHING was open as far as restaurants on a Sunday! Only McDonald's. So, plan accordingly.
- Michael (8/5): Okay Stay - This is an older property, but was acceptable. It had everything that we needed, like a good WiFi, microwave and refrigerator. Right now there is no breakfast (continental or otherwise). It was clean and had the basics: a bed and bath. It was a bit expensive compared to other recent stays, but this is a very isolated and small community. Because of our trip's schedule, we had to stay in Delta, UT.
- jim (8/5): - The only complaint I would have would be the location of the room. It was right next to the stairs going to the second floor. Generally sounded like a herd of horses. Other than that, nice place
- Matthew (8/5): Got the job done - Outdated hotel but functional and sufficient to meet our lodging needs.
- Brenda (10/5): - Manager was very nice & pleasant. Really loved the service, environment & location. However, we did leave an item in fridge & housekeeping said we did not. Sad they were not truthful about that. Overall, hospitality was great.
- Joe (10/5): excellent - I'll be there 14 days out of the month. Reasonable prices very convenient to my job
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I get it, Delta is a small town but OMG what a crap hole!!!! I booked 2 night and only stayed one because I felt like I walked into an hourly motel.
I walked into our bathroom and there was a used hand towel laying on the sink. That right there threw me off since COVID is such a huge issue right now. The bathroom fan didn't work, there were holes in the wall with shotty patch jobs. You could hear the dog upstairs barking and every foot step.
considering I had my 1 year old with me it was just a dirty annoying experience. I didn't even want to fight for a refund because i wanted to get out as fast as i could.
- Chandler (10/5): Very clean - Perfect for what I needed
- Chuck (6/5): Will not stay here again - Older motel. Reserved a King size bed, but were given a room with two Queen beds. When asked why we didn't get a room with a King bed, was told that they were none available. What good does it do to reserve a King bed if you don't get one? One of the Queen beds was slightly tilted, to where you felt like you were going to roll out of it. The bathtubs are small. They are NOT deep soaking tubs. Nice 32" TV, however the cable reception was horrible. Will not stay here again. On the bright side, the WiFi is excellent. Ran a speed check, and the download speed was over 50 megs.
- Elliot (10/5): Budget Motel Delta - Great motel, very clean and management is awesome. Came to Delta on a work trip and would definitely stay here again
- Dan (10/5): Very good place to stay in Delta, Utah - The room was quite large, very clean, very nice shower and bathroom, and an excellent King size bed.
