• Niklas (9/5): Romantic Villa - Underbart rum med egen pool och ljuvlig havsutsikt. Frukostutbudet relativt begränsat ("fasta" alternativ), men maten av hög kvalitet. Mycket tillmötesgående och trevlig personal. Välfungerande AC och WiFi. Lugnt läge. Rikt utbud av enklare matställen på promenadavstånd, men ingen "fine-dining". Begränsade vandringsmöjligheter lokalt, fick nås med taxi.

Friendly and helpful staff plus the eggs benedict for breakfast are great 😊 Small things - e.g. without room key not ony the a.c. but also any power outlets get cut. I understand to cut the a/c and lights but not any plugs for being able to charge all mobile gadgets...

• Vadim (8/5): Ну и находится далековато от всего. Рядом сходить некуда. Все что рядом- не интресно. Только ездить. - Отдыхали с ребенком 6 лет. Из плюсов- красивый вид и личный бассеин. Кровать размером 180 примерно. Не 210 см. С ребенком спать было тесно. Ему сделали отдельно кроватку. Не понравилось, что было очень жарко спать. Если включить кондиционер, то он дует прям в голову. И боишься простыть. Вентилятор тоже не справлялся. Хотели на ночь открытую дверь оставить, но летает очень много комаров. Они на сьели за первые минуты. Вот если бы они на входную дверь придумали какую то сетку от комаров. Было бы идеально. А так, мы мучались по ночам. Еще нет дороги к берегу. Не смогли подоити, всё перегорожено. А так хотелось на берегу посидеть, погулять. Но , увы(( только в своем бунгало сидеть и всё.

Would definitely recommend! - The property is beautiful and located at the edge of a small town where there are many places to visit, food, shopping, fruit. The staff is extremely welcoming, accommodating, and cheerful, especially Vit! It was a joy to start every morning with him at breakfast and his great smile! The beds and pillows were a bit firm for our liking, but the linens were very clean and crisp white, and comfortable. The beach is rocky at the location, but we didn’t mind at all since we had the private pool in our villa. Beach access is only a short motorbike ride up the road if you prefer to be in the sand.
• Lars (10/5): Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft mit Privatpool. Außergewöhlich. Immer gerne wieder. - Die Unterkunft hat einen Privatpool. Dieser ist außergewöhnlich schön. Die Unterkunft selbst ist wunderschön eingerichtet, es ist eine kleine private Insel in welcher man wirklich Urlaub machen kann. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr sehr gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hat jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Bei einem nächsten Aufenthalt auf Koh Chang unsere 1. Wahl. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder. Es war alles bestens.

We had the sea view pool villa The room was very nice and spacious with minimal furniture, the pool was great size for our needs and they cleaned it every single day. The housekeeper was a lovely that she took very good care of us and our villa. Thank you for everything Not important though A pillow menu would be highly appreciated as the pillows were a bit hard for both of us. But this is a matter of taste

Breakfast was delicious, it was a la carte and the portions were huge! The staff was very friendly and helpful. There's a fifteen-minute walk to the nearest beach. The island overall is not very walkable and caution is needed as cars and motorcycles pass very fast and very close.

• Adrian (10/5): Wunderschönes Ressort mit traumhaftem Blick und sehr freundlichem Personal - Die Lage, der Blick, die Bauweise und die Freundlichkeit des Personals sind der pure Luxus. Das Ressort grenzt auf einer Seite direkt an den Regenwald, davor befindet sich das Meer. Die Aussenanlage ist in einem perfekten Zustand. Wenn man das Frühstück zu sich nimmt, blickt man über den Infinity Pool auf das Meer. Meines Erachtens handelt es sich um eines der schönsten Ressorts auf Koh Chang. Von dem Hotel aus sind es nur 200 m zum Magic Garden Restaurant, wo man sehr gut essen kann in guter Atmosphäre. An der Hauptstrasse gibt es weitere, mehr oder weniger frequentierte Restaurants, die sehr gutes Essen bieten und nicht teuer sind. Den Sonnenuntergang kann man z.B. in der Roxy Bar geniessen, auch nur einige hundert Meter entfernt. Zum Sandstrand sind es zu Fuss ca. 15 Minuten. Der Lonely Beach bietet ruhigere Bereiche zum Liegen und zum Schwimmen, es gibt aber auch mehrere kleine Bars, Restaurants und natürlich die typischen Massageliegen am Strand. Die Atmosphäre ist gut, wobei man wie überall auf den Inseln viel Dreck und verfallene Bauwerke findet, sobald man die Hauptstrasse verlässt oder hinter die Strandkioske geht. Für uns war die Mischung aus Ruhe und Ausgehmöglichkeiten perfekt, gerade junge Leute kommen hier voll auf ihre Kosten da es eine Techno Bar gibt mir ca. 200 Besuchern jede Nacht (bis 5 Uhr morgens) und auch eine Reggae und Rock Bar mit Live Musik (Dirt Bar). Wenn man an dem Ressort irgendetwas bemängeln könnte, so sind es höchstens die Möbel, die wieder aufgefrischt werden könnten mit etwas Lasur. Man sollte bald hierher kommen, in einigen Jahren wird es hier wohl aussehen wie am Long Beach und der Tourismus wird die Natur und den Regenwald zügig verdrängt haben.

• Nina (10/5): amazing property and hotel - This hotel is an absolute gem, we stayed in the sea side pool villa (which I recommend 100%), I got engaged there making this hotel very special too, the view is insane, the breakfast à la carte was amazing too, the woman and men on the breakfast are so so so gentle and welcoming. happy hour cocktails was very pleasant too. I just will never forget the 2 nights we had. We also rented a scooter there and everything went very well. You must stay in this hotel it’s perfect I will definitely come back 🙏 great value for money spend Leaving :(

The breakfast seems very cheap and not appropriate for the price you are paying for this accommodation. The pancakes and waffles are just ready-made and microwaved, which feels low quality. My partner and I got food poisoning after eating the eggs, which was clearly caused by the breakfast, as we didn’t eat anything else.

Otherwise the place was perfect for chilling and sunbathing. Only minus is that the nearest beach was a bit far, we didn't bother to go there.

• Marianne (10/5): Exklusives Paradies - Eine Absolut exklusive Resortanlage, super schön gestaltet und gepflegt, stets freundliches Personal, gute Kundenbetreuung und alles was man sich wünschen kann, kaum was los, es fühlte sich an als wäre man tagsüber komplett alleine im Resort, jeden Poolbereich o. ä. Hatte man für sich allein (Reise Ende November) und die Qualität der Küche war herausragend! Die allerbesten mangoshakes und oad krah pao gibt es definitiv hier

Bedingungslos weiter zu empfehlen! - Wir hatten zunächst 4 Nächte gebucht aber dann auf 6 verlängert weil es uns hier sooo gut gefallen hat! Wir hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer mit Meerblick. Das Bett war mega bequem und das Zimmer sehr sauber. Am besten hat uns das liebe Personal vom Restaurant gefallen. So tolle Menschen!! 🥰 Jeden Mittag zwischen 16 und 18 Uhr gab es ne Happy Hour mit leckeren Cocktails. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau! Wir werden unseren Aufenthalt im Nest Sense nicht so schnell vergessen und kommen bestimmt wieder sollte es uns wieder nach Koh Chang verschlagen 🙌🏻 Es gab nichts auszusetzen!

• Fischer (9/5): - Die außergewöhnlich schöne und ruhige Lage war toll Ich hätte mir seitlich der Anlage einen Steg ins Meer gewünscht, so ist man gezwungen, wenn man ins Meer will,.entweder 1km zum lonley beach zu gehen, oder so wie wir ein Moped auszuleihen. Damit wars völlig problemlos.

Everything was clean and it felt like a little paradise. The staff was super friendly and accomodating - with scooter rental or transfers. Breakfast was great and so much to eat. • Dilara (9/5): Das beste Hotel das wir auf unserer Thailand Reise hatten! - Wunderschönes Zimmer mit Privatpool und aussicht aufs Meer. Das Frühstück ist a la Carte und sehr lecker. Man wird jeden Morgen von einer Super freundlichen Dame begrüsst und fantastisch bedient. Das Personal allgemein ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Drinks zur Happy hour lohnen sich, danke an die Super Barkeeperin!
• Ramona (7/5): - Der Ausblick aufs Meer war toll, aber es fehlte die Liebe zum Detail. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte nicht. Bei dem Preis erwartet man makellos Handtücher ohne Chlorflecken, ein Moskitonetz, die Fliesen und Scheiben hatten Farbflecken, bzw. Am Pool fehlte mal etwas Farbe und Pflege. Das Frühstück war ok, aber wenn man sieht was andere Bars/Restaurants für einen überschaubaren Preis bieten, hätte man es abwechslungsreicher gestalten können. Essen, Trinken, Waschen und Massage ist klar, dass es teurer ist in einem Hotel, aber bis zu 4x so teuer?!? Das ist echt hart. Ich hatte im Vorfeld gefragt, ob es möglich wäre eine Milchalternative zu erhalten, da ich allergisch gegen Milcheiweiß bin. Ich fragte Wochen im Voraus, aber nein war nicht möglich. Sehr schade, denn im Supermarkt konnte man sie kaufen, was ich dann auch getan habe. In anderen viel billigeren Unterkünften war das Besorgen von einer plant-based Milch kein Problem. Schön, aber es gibt noch Luft nach oben, erst Recht für den Preis.
• Alan Kenneth (8/5): - Lovely little resort. Very peaceful - walking distance from bars and restaurants but far enough away that there was no noise from them. Nice pool. We saw monkeys, geckoes, squirrels and hornbills around the resort. Breakfast was amazing - you can choose two made-to-order dishes like pancakes with mango, fried eggs, thai style omelette, etc. Several of these were vegetarian or could be made vegetarian. At dinner the only vegetarian option was fried rice so we ate elsewhere most evenings. The sound insulation between rooms isn't great - we could hear the neighbours talking.

Good and delicious breakfast with a bunch of options to choose from. Very friendly staff. Clean facilities. The room was spacious and well equipped. Good privacy. Everything was fantastic!

• Julian (8/5): Superbe hôtel, cadre idyllique, personnel magique - La vue au réveil et couché de soleil depuis la chambre, le personnel est incroyable, ils rendent le séjour magique, et les petits déjeunes sont au top. Les extérieurs et la piscine qui sont entretenu à la perfection. La clim est très bruyante, la douche qui innonde la salle de bain, le fait qu’il n’y est pas de plage accessible à proximité.

Mention spéciale à Vic qui nous a toujours accueilli au petit déjeuner avec un sourire extraordinaire. Il a été notre rayon de soleil. Petit déjeuner copieux. Restaurants, massages et petits magasins à proximité du resort. Établissement contemporain sans chaleur. Pas de couleurs, pas de déco. Restaurant un peu cher. Literie la plus dure qu’on ait connu en Thaïlande.

• Michelle (10/5): Outstanding - I loved everything the room was great loved having a private pool with sea views 😍 The staff was amazing especially Jay an Na (my 2 angels😇 )I had a bit of a breakdown in the lobby area and Jay my mamma bear attended to me with so much kindness and love and Na to looked after me and stayed with me until I calmed down. Beautiful ladies I will never forget them ❤️ always smiling they are both good credit to have working for you at the Nest,good staff can be hard to come by as well as working hard they truly care for thier customers . Outstanding ladies ❤️ The bed and sunbeds were not comfortable very hard. After I mentioned about the bed being uncomfortable and hard they did their best to put a few layers on the mattress to soften which did help a bit and was a bit more comfortable. As for the sunbeds I took the cushions of the sofa and put a towel over them to make lying on the sunbed more comfortable.

The villa itself is beautifully made and the own pool is amazing and the views from the villa are breathtaking. Our villa was situated in the upper row so we had much appreciated privacy at our pool and patio. Hotel staff were amazing and super welcoming and all the drinks and foods were super tasty. We will definitely come again.

• Mary-lynell (8/5): A picturesque and comfortable stay in Koh Chang. - At check in we were greeted by the staff with a welcome drink and escorted to our room- where they kindly provide you with flip flops, a beach bag, and nice robes for your stay. Complimentary water was provided on a daily basis and the room was very spacious with a balcony which had a great view. The bed was very comfortable and really big, with the pillows being not so comfortable for our personal likings. The room was very clean, and wifi was good. Being a guest in this hotel, you almost felt like that each guest has there own house/apartment- everyone had there privacy- the rooms which have pools being even more secluded from the rest. I would highly recommend this stay for a couple that just wants to relax in Koh Chang. In walking distance there are nice food and massage options and with a 15 min walk you can reach Lonely beach which is a nice beach to spend your day or watch the sunset. The beach at the hotel is not a sandy beach, but the hotel has a spectacular view just to sit and relax by the pool to enjoy the sea-side view. I must say the pool offers a breathtaking view, which is probably a reason enough to book your stay at this hotel. The staff was always very polite and welcome, when asked they provided us with some tour options for our stay and arranged for a taxi/transportation back to the airport upon our return. Also a nice note is that they have a happy hour at the bar, which was a nice incentive to stay at the hotel relax at the pool drinking an alcoholic drink or mocktail. Dinner and massage are much more expensive than the local prices, we ended up trying both in close proximity of the hotel- found great options. Since it is complicated to arrive at the island, it would had been great if the service offered for our departure was offered for our arrival- again a note to the hotel if you could send this as welcome message to your guests. The furniture at the room does look a bit worn down, does need a small refurbishment - although it was in an okay condition for our stay. Also a small note you need to add, netflix is offered but without an account- which one can not log into their personal account anymore in most cases. It would had been easier for the hotel to create an account and leave it logged in, as most places do nowadays. Breakfast was moderate, you are offered a la cart options to choose two dishes (which is a bit excess I would say), which were okay but not great. If we would had stayed more than 3 days, I believe we would had probably tried another brunch option near by. Having said the above, these are all minor issues which did not affect our excellent stay in Koh Chang. I wish we could had stayed longer! <3
