Customer service in the evening was slow and she was a rude about bathrooms being lock, needing extra towels for a three night stay and misunderstanding of the two rooms being booked. The air conditioning did not work in one of our rooms in summer in the south of Texas. When asked about having it checked or a new room we were told maintenance would look at it Tuesday and no other rooms were available. We were there for my fathers funeral and just took what we could in the small town.

• Daniela (10/5): - The first room we booked was really nice and big almost a suite but there was white powder on the floor near the AC unit. The shower was leaking, we got moved to another room it was a lot smaller and the shower was leaking as well also the faucets were loose and rusty.

• Dania (6/5): - I called to confirm my reservation and the woman who answered asked if I were local toe Pearsall when I told her no, she said she hoped not because they to rent to anyone local, went to our room, the toilet didn’t fill after being flushed so we were moved to a non handicap room. When my husband went for coffee the next morning..he was told very hatefully that the dining room was closed even though they had the door open and food out for the continual breakfast…our room wasn’t cleaned and when my husband went to o get more towels, he was told housekeeping doesn’t work on Sundays and only every other days. We found a half eaten bag of chips (not ours) in a drawer by the bed and the trash outside the entrance door was over flowing with garbage. Our bed was very hard and uncomfortable. WILL NOT STAY THERE EVER AGAIN.

She couldnt give it to me . The supply closet was locked. Tub was dirty,, there wasnt anyone at the front desk. Had to call a different number. .the floor near the AC and bed was wet .does feel homie. More like abandoned building. Shower faucets need fixing. There was wirers hanging out in some area.
• Luis (4/5): - Upon arrival, the room was extremely hot and humid. The hotel bed sheets had stains, and some of the staff members were rude. I requested a room change because the first room leaked into the ceiling, and the door wouldn't lock. I had to wait until the next day for a room change. Everything was old and in bad condition. The only reason why I decided to stay was that before it was a Hilton hotel, and I had a really good experience with the breakfast and the pool. However, now the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, and the pool wasn't open for the guests.

When I checked in they informed me I would have to wait 4 or 5 hours for a room to be cleaned. My stay was only going to be for 7 hours so this wouldn’t work for my needs and was not what I was promised.

• Miguel (2/5): - To start off there was no hot water for the night. I had to go to the clerk to check that out and she moved me to another room and still no hot water. The ac stopped in the middle of the night and didn’t work after that. The pillows were too thin your head would sink into the bed making it feel that you didn’t even had a pillow. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel I would have gotten to the Quinta that’s right across the highway if I knew how bad the conditions in this hotel was. Not even the toilet worked. Terrible experience.

• DIANA (8/5): - The area the staff was all great. The only this was the shower was dripping water all night and some areas seemed like they were not cleaned. There was still soap on the sink and in the shower that was not removed from past travelers.
• Tricia (4/5): The bed is comfy, the service tried their best. - The front desk worker was literally having to do everything. Clean rooms, wash towels, check people in, deliver towels, blankets etc. She should of had help! The bed was fine, but the "comforter" was obviously torn, the shower was cracked and dripping all night. The potty ran all night. Tile was cracked. The hand towel rail was broken off. They didnt have enough towels for rooms booked. The bed only had the bottom sheet and then a small cover over it, no thicker than a flat sheet. I had to go get a blanket, there were none in the room. The hotel seemed very quiet for being so full. The booking says pet friendly but theres a sign in the lobby saying they are not. The owners should be ashamed they allow this place to get this bad.

• ANGIE (8/5): This location NEEDS a major overhaul! - This was by far the STRANGEST stay that I've ever experienced. The staff was GREAT, but the hotel itself needs some MAJOR renovations. Example- 2 rooms on the 2nd floor didn't even have door handles. Water was running THE WHOLE TIME (2 night stay) while my family and I were there in one of those rooms. The tub was nasty dirty looking. The bathroom door appeared to be deteriorating. The door key wouldn't work, so everytime I left and tried to get back in, I'd have to go back downstairs to get staff to get the key to work. Bottom line- Hampton Inn, you're giving yourself a bad look! Do what you need to do, to make this location meet your standards! Once again, the staff was GREAT!
• JEANNA (2/5): Horrible stay - Well we get into our room and the one bed sheets were not clean. Makeup on the pillow cases and hair on the sheets. Get into another room light out in bathroom and no towels or toilet paper. The clerk checking us in was the only nice thing about the hotel. When we got up for breakfast. The food was cold and smelled bad. We will never stay there again. We travel to that area 6 times a year. I will stay at the hotel we normally go too after this. We just wanted to try a new hotel. Big mistake.

• Carmen (4/5): - We arrived to our room at 11:50 pm and we we’re ready to get in bed. As soon as my girls moved the sheets to get in bed there were chips in the sheets and a pillow case had a blood mark on it while another pillow case had other noticeable cheese marks on it. We called the lady up front and took her a while to get to the room and she tried looking for another room for us. While she was doing that my baby was already asleep and my husband was tired of driving and she couldn’t find another room for us so we decided to stay in that room we had to slept on top of the sheets and removed those two soiled pillows away. The lady told us they would give us part of our money back but haven’t seen any reimbursement yet. Bad experience definitely.
• Halona (6/5): - This hotel used to be better than ok. It’s gone down hill a lot in the last couple of years. The shower tub was rusty. The air wasn’t turned on when we arrived so it was 100 degrees in the room… which the AC never quite caught up with, the hot water InThe shower never really got hot. And the breakfast is a joke.
• Janet (6/5): - The staff is friendly and accommodating. The coffee and breakfast was great! We had a problem with the bathtub/shower. It wouldn’t stop dripping and there was no shower curtain. It looked like there was a repair going on with the faucet. The towels needed to be thrown out and replaced as they were stained and old.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Poor and Dirty - This is the poorest quality Hampton Inn that I have ever seen or stayed in. Dirty from day one of staying in the place. Bed sheets look old and not washed properly over time, lack of towels and the hallways, lobby area along with the most important area the room was just dirty and lacked attention. The place looks like it is 20 years old and no maintenance, thou built during the Eagleford Shale boom about 10 years ago. Won't be long that this hotel will be dropped by Hampton, at least should be since it is more of an Executive Inn lower grade hotel now. If you want clean and service I would pick some where else.
• Erin (4/5): - The property you could tell was newly renovated but the bathroom door was warped due to water damage and the tub and tub faucet were very old and stained. Im not sure why this was not updated. There were no other rooms so I was stuck with a gross bathroom. Plus the beds were not the normal super comfy beds, but hard not very high quality mattress.

After exiting elevator and waking towards our room, there was no vacuuming done. The corners had trash. I will definitely be there again, it was disappointing to see the shower with mold and dingy towels.

• Francis (4/5): A Hilton Disappointment - Pearsall - Hampton Inn Desk chair falling apart. Fake leather peeling all over. Bathroom wallpaper falling off. Dirt in corners around tub. Scratched furniture. Stains on carpet. No toilet paper holder: missing. Refrigerator makes noise. Carpet in hallways need vacuum. Front desk friendly but no mask. But states they were strict about mask wearing. Didn’t feel COVID safe. No seal on door. Checkout staff robotic. Didn’t even ask how our stay was. Only decaf offered in room. No coffee set up such as creamer sugar etc. I chose 5 stays at Hilton on 8 day road trip. Only one i felt safe in since they followed Hiltons advertised COVID protocols and precautions. The others Did not feel COVID safe or clean, as evidenced by our dirty disinfectant wipes we used to clean and spray our Rooms as we entered. Hilton was ranked as one of the best that follows strict cleaning and COVID precautions. It definitely was not. Only The Best Western in Fort Stockton and The Thunder Buffalo Hilton in Sante Fe did we feel practiced safe COVID Protocols and Cleaning

Housekeeping took them while putting our clean sheets! Chairs in the room were gross dirty! The Pool was out of order(on this hot day) and No Hot breakfast!( they did replace our drinks and found our snacks in housekeeper’s stuff , she gave them back ) very upset with this stay thankfully it was one night only!

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Beds were clean and comfy. Bathroom was another story. Floors in front of the bathroom and in the bathroom were sticky. Our feet would stick when walking. The shower and handles were dirty with either soap scum or hard water stains. The caulking was a mess and made the shower look worse. The tub was constantly running slowly no matter how tightly we thought we had turned the water off. A couple of our towels were dingy and some had holes in them. Some of the towels were fine. They need to check them over better before putting them out.

• Luis Emilio (6/5): Outdated hotel but good for resting - On the good side the hotel is far enough from the highway so the trucks noise is not a problem. On the other end the hotel is outdated and I believe it is an old building that was rescued. It needs a lot of attention and maintenance, not bad for a night of sleep after 15 hours driving.

• Felicia (4/5): - The towels were dirty, and it was obvious. They weren’t as “white” as they should be, in fact they had small specks of brown stuff on them. Others looked like they missed wash day. The tub was clearly rusted in certain areas. It says amenities included but none of them are really included due to covid.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - SATURDAY staff in the breakfast room was nice the one on Sunday 1/5/20 9:45 they stop servin food also staff saw customers eating and also there were senior people everyone qas upset they said they also were going to report the lady she had close the doors before the time was up
• Verified traveler (6/5): - I didn’t like that there was problems with me checking in. It took about 30 mins to get checked in. It wouldn’t accept my card, so I had to pay cash. My sister had the same exact problem when she stayed there.
• R (8/5): - A whole one side of the building’s parking was blocked for weeks with laid out grass. Pool wasn’t kept. The back door was not functioning.

• K.Louise (2/5): - Room was clean. But that was about it. Staff was rude and unfriendly this Hotel is a hang out for All of these staffs friends and family. A complete Gossip location. They need a complete Restaffing. And training. Worst trip ever. I I regularly visit Pearsall 3-4 times a year. Loud music at the pool had to call front desk and request for music to be lowered. I would never recommend this location. Visitors Beware 😞 August Visit 2019

• dora (6/5): - I chose this place for the pool and then on arrival, owner stated we couldnt use it. He stated he needed to shock it, whatever that means. In the evening, he said it was ok, but its the most disgusting pool ever. When i stepped in, a cloud of brown stuff floated all over and my footprint stayed on the stairs. We didnt go in at all. Very flirty. Owner also hesitated to give me extra towels on arrival. I didn't appreciate that. He made me feel bad.
