Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late summer. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Guests are advised to check local road conditions/closures before travel with the California Department of Transportation at www.dot.ca.gov or by calling 800-427-7623. Guests arriving on Christmas Day, December 25, are required to contact the property in advance to make check-in arrangements as the reception will be closed.

• Margarete (8/5): - The unit was nice and spacious and close to shopping and dining. There was a rec room with pool tables and laundry but I was disappointed that the pool and jacuzzi were unavailable due to maintenance.

• Francesca (10/5): - The property was cozy and close to everything and had plenty of parking. The rooms and beds were comfortable and the place was clean. It definitely has an older cabin feel but we didnt mind it. It could use some newer linens and sheets and pillows.
• Anthony (6/5): Spacious - Parking was a breeze with plenty of space, making arrival smooth and stress-free. Check-in required a quick stop in town to pick up the keys, which added a small extra step but wasn’t a major inconvenience. The walk to Canyon Lodge was definitely a workout, with a steeper incline than some other properties. Due to road closures, the most direct route was unavailable, leading to a longer detour. As for connectivity, T-Mobile service was spotty, and the WiFi wasn’t working, which was a hassle, but gave us a chance to unplug and enjoy the natural beauty without distractions. If you’re looking to disconnect from the digital world and fully embrace the mountain experience, this is the perfect place to do it!
• CC (6/5): No WiFi and rustic - Getting run down. Dull knives. No wifi. Ancient appliances. Place mats were dirty. Cute space though and comfy couch.
• beth (10/5): - This place is totally stoked with everything you need. Cozy beds, every kitchen dish, cooking utensil, serving tray, cooking tray etc. you could need. The fireplace is AWESOME! We loved it.

• Wendy (10/5): - Very comfortable and clean place to stay. If you need wifi this is not your place. The only wifi seems to be in the rec room and it's open limited hours and drops frequently. Small mountain town unreliable internet. Other than that we had a wonderful time at the condo.

• William (8/5): - Wonderful location to the Lakes Basin! There was a shuttle that brought us directly to the gorgeous twin lakes! It was SO convenient to the village and the mountains. My kids had an awesome time playing in the Rec center, jacuzzi and in the giant snow hills in July!! The 2023 water supply was so spectacular!
• Brad (8/5): - Everything is condo is very old and it doesn't look like the condo has been maintained for a long long time. We paid a lot per night and what we got was a 2 star hotel with close to zero amenities and no room service to change the towel or bedsheets and the place is far from the lifts so you have to drive and pay for another parking by the lifts. The location to the center is good so with a few minutes drive you can to restaurants and shops. But I would never ever stay there.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Cozy weekend in the mountains. - Fantastic condo. Perfect for anyone looking for a cozy weekend in the mountains. The condo was well stocked, and the recreation area (hot tub, pool table, ping pong, foosball) is a great place to wait out a storm. 10/10 would come back.

Visiting Mammoth to enjoy the Village wine walk, I wanted one that was within walking distance, easy downhill walk to get there, a little incline walking back but not bad. The only reason I took a star away is because the jacuzzi was not working the one night we really needed it, after a day of hiking. We did use it the night before and it was perfect. The location of the condo is just steps away from the pool, jacuzzi and BBQ’s. The kitchen is very well equipped, the deck is nice to soak in the morning sun. Very comfortable, I will stay here again.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - This was a much family vacation with my parents. Very disappointed to walk into the condo with used and almost empty liquid soaps and an absolutely non- working dishwasher. Asking for RE- fills and fixing things is not easy and accessible either so where does it leave you ? We knew that the facility does not have laundry machines in the condo and so on and so forth but this added negligence is not acceptable
• Verified traveler (10/5): Hiking heaven - This condo was perfect for the two of us. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed. we loved being able to bbq in the communal area where everyone was very friendly. Pool was warm, and hot tub great after a long day of hiking.
• Angela (10/5): Birthday weekend at mammoth - Are trip was for a weeklong birthday celebration for both my husband and I. The family went, we loved the location that it was close to the ski resort. Being there with all the snow all around us was awesome!

• Phyllis (10/5): Wish I Could Have Stayed Longer - This was a very nice condo which I think is owned by a private party who rents it out. It is older, perhaps built in the 70’s, but is very nicely apportioned and new carpet, great bed, and tv and sofa for relaxing. We spent 2 nights here and we felt like we were staying at a friend’s home. I wish all our vacation stays were like this unit!

• Yvette (8/5): Mammoth Lakes Condo - Great check in! Good deal for the money paid. It's just an old condo with an outdated kitchen. But because it was as cheap as a hotel room in town it was worth the money spent for more space.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - The quality at Discovery Condos varies significantly from unit-to-unit since each one is independently owned. This particular unit was of lesser quality.
• nicole (8/5): Basic accommodations in this 1-bd Mammoth condo - Outdated, but doable one bedroom condo. We had two adults and two children. Plenty of room as there are bunk beds built in and a large sectional with sleeper sofa. Sofa was comfortable and good seating. If I were the owners, I'd take out a lot of the outdated decorations, like very old artificial flowers and trinkets. Less is best so to speak...especially when nothing is updated but TVs. Enjoyed the ping pong/pool table and hot tub in the condo complex. PAC Man video game not working.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable and clean - This particular condominium was very comfortable and clean, definitely a place to revisit. The forests around Mammoth Lakes were VERY BEAUTIFUL! In fact, we spent most of the time OUTSIDE Mammoth Lakes Village, touring Mono Lake and June Lake,and returned to the condominium for rest.

• Carolyn (10/5): Great place to stay - We had a reunion with our son who is in the marines and we chose to meet in Mammoth Lakes. It was beautiful, and the weather was great. It was crazy busy because it was Labor Day weekend! The condo was perfect for all of us to enjoy together and make our own meals. We had a great stay. Easy access to buses and transportation to Devils Postpile area.

• sofia (4/5): out dated - We had stayed at this particular condo just a month prior, and the observations I made them are the same as the ones I'd make now with a few additions. The furniture is dated and dusty, the carpet dirty. There's no wifi available. Cable tv not working, DVD player not working, remote controls all had drained batteries. The place is advertised as pet friendly, but it doesn't seem to have been cleaned thoroughly from the previous visitors who came with pets. Overall, I would probably not book this place again not would I recommend it to others. The only reason I stayed there again was it was the only pet friendly place we found through Expedia without having to stay in a small hotel room; though that probably would have been better.
