Daily Breakfast was great; we did not have to worried on looking where to go to eat breakfast very convenient. There is nothing I didn't like about this hotel.

Nos tocos un poco mas de variación agregando Pozole durante el fin de semana. La ubicación o el área no es muy amigable para moverte a los lugares a pie, pero esta perfecto para moverte por medio de transporte de aplicación.

• Elizabeth (6/5): Stay here only if you want to be close to the Basilica - We chose this hotel based on its location. We wanted to stay close to La Avenida de la Basilica (Calzada de Guadalupe) for the upcoming feast day. We did not take advantage of the free shuttle service to the Basilica but this is a perk if you decide to book your stay here. Just note that the shuttle is not available during on 12/12 due to the roads being closed off. The breakfast could have been better. It tasted like it was all canned food. The food offered in nearby restaurants are not much better. If you're looking for food with sazon, you need to visit other parts of CDMX.

• Rebecca (8/5): - Close location to get to the airport or towards the basilica. We had a very spacious room with a comfortable shower space. Daily water refill Very noisy from the street (also to the back) from early to late hours), as well as hearing everything from neighbours. Breakfast was basic.
• Zoraida (7/5): Viva Holiday Inn Express Basilica - The suite was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plenty and filled with mostly local dishes that were delicious. There was a convenience store and a pharmacy nearby which we were happy about. It wasn't really walking distance to the Basilica but Uber was quick and the fare was almost always reasonable. The staff didn't care much about the guests. I thought they needed to learn to smile more to make the guests feel welcome. Otherwise, it was a great 10 night-stay! Most importantly, it was the best choice we made to fulfill our dream to pray with Sta Maria de Guadalupe. Viva Sta Maria de Guadalupe! They served the same kind of cheese at breakfast for the entire 10 nights that we were there but it was too small an issue to break a rather beautiful experience we had at Holiday Inn.

• Denis (3/5): The worst Holiday Inn in my experience. The worse stuff manager too. - Breakfast was good enough, no much choice what I personally like (no need to think). The room cleaning lady did her job - thanks. They have surprisedly large gym with no people inside. The room was large enough, although we needed to argue for the room size we paid - they tried to give us smaller.. Completely impolite people at the reception, especially the staff manager lady was so rude. No body smiles, nobody says hello (well, besides breakfast servants and the room cleaning lady). But the major staff has got to be replaced because it feels like they hate you. Also on our first date the reception lady was trying to give us a different cheaper room although we paid and booked a larger one. And nobody even said sorry or something when we broad this issue up. It was cold in the room - we were heating it up around for 2 days (then became better), the heater/cooling system is weak. But for breakfast we were always wearing jackets - otherwise we could freeze for real. IMPORTANT! Mexico City is famous for its earthquakes - we didn't know it :(, but we got one for around 2 minutes in a morning, ~ 6 magnitude. No body warned us in advance, like that thing can happen, what kind of alert they have for earthquakes, and what we have to do in this situation. So, we didn't know what was the siren about - and got out the last - too late. we were happy not get injured. But how bad is it for this kind of hotel not to say anything to tourists.. So, be advised, check the internet for instructions, because they will not tell you anything at all. And actually, the reception staff don't know much English, which is weird for "Holiday Inn"...
