Guest Reviews
- Rashmi (10/5): - Nice
- chandra (8/5): - Over all good hotel
- Laxmi (10/5): - Close to bus stand is huge help
- Sanjay (8/5): Excellent property needs small work - Good hotel but rooms need and specifically bathrooms needs renovation. Hotel services and menu are not upto mark. Breakfast was very good. Staff was very nice and friendly, made our stay warm and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The staff service and hospitality was very bad specially the main steward was very bad 😔
- Raja Babu (6/5): - Surprised that the ACs do not have a remote! It is centralised. You either switch off the AC and bear with it. And, windows don't open(Apparently, they are nailed to avoid intruders into the room).
- Verified traveler (2/5): - There are no non-smoking rooms. Interior is poor. Bad food and worst maintainence. DO NOT STAY
- Mannan (2/5): Irresponsible folks - When you think of ITC Hotels, you think of something nice and remarkable about the whole stay. What happened was contrary. If you are okay with unwelcoming receptionists with absolutely no intention to smile, if you are okay with leaky pipes in bathrooms, if you are okay with short-circuit when you switch on power in bathroom, if you are okay with all these, you may stay. If else, dont even think about it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good, neat
- Gopalan (6/5): Good location - Not of the standard of an ITC hotel. Staff poorly trained and service level poor.
- Mangales (6/5): Tirupathi stay at Fortune Kences - Room facilities are not in good condition. Toilets bowls were full of stains and flush system was very bad. Bed sheets were torn and stain, i have to request for a change. I have stayed here more than 5 times, this is my first experience the facilities has been on the run down side, it requires maintenance.
- Prahlad Varada (6/5): Good Staff; Poor Room condition - the staff is courteous and welcoming. Food was good.
Rooms are very average, the beds are pretty old and there were leakages in the room
- siva (2/5): - Worst hotel to stay and even the hotel can’t provide good wifi
- Verified traveler (6/5): - For most of my stay the service was pretty good - however on the final night and checkout morning my colleague and I received numerous phone calls regarding paying. I said I would pay in the morning of check out as one might expect. But I received two phone calls before I could get out of my room to go for breakfast. Then when I went towards reception a woman practically rugby tackled me to come and pay. I asked, who are you and she said her name and title - head of front desk. She then got one of the two young women behind the desk to fish out her business card and present me with it. She then left the desk and let the two young members of staff do my check out. They made a hash of that and also insisted on knowing when we would leave our rooms even though I told them our driver would collect us at 10am. She should have stayed to supervise the checkout rather than swanning round giving cards out.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Hotel staff will ask you to pay more if you need a room earlier (You might usually need a room earlier because of Darshan time slot)
- Vishveshwar (8/5): Vishveshwar - Food menu need to change as I have stayed 2 days and 95% menu will be the same in Breakfast, Dinner & Lunch.
- Lakshman (8/5): Excellent Experience - Very Pleasant stay. Staff were very good at answering my calls. Booked for my parents and got a good deal thru expedia.
- uday (6/5): very poor value for the money charged by the hotel - We were given Room Number 214 on the second floor. The acoustics is very poor. Anyone using the bathroom in the adjacent rooms or upstairs room was resulting in loud and irritating noise and disturbed our sleep. The hotel need to check the plumbing system thoroughly.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Bathroom not so clean
- Amardeep (6/5): Nice location, courteous staff good food - The Hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. They gave us two choices of room to select and even advised us. The food was good. It is too spicy. So for people from Andhra/Rajasthan who want to have spicy food it will not be a problem. The variety in buffet was also good. Breakfast is also good, we get choice of Indian breakfast, continental and also Western dishes. The room ambience is good. We were charged about Rs 800 plus taxes for an additional bed. But what is the most disheartening part of the stay was the quality of the room. The AC created a ruckus while it was running. Secondly the temperature knob of the AC was not working. Thirdly all the beds were spring beds and they were uncomfortable to sleep on. Fourthly we had asked for our car to be cleaned before we left for darshan and that did not happen.
- Michael and Mer (10/5): Very comfortable and easy. - A big help with the currency issues. Very friendly and helpful staff.
- RP (8/5): Good hotel & good connectivity - Wash rooms roofs are leaking, unless ask house keeping persons do not provide bath towels in the morning.HOUSE KEEPING has to be changed,., this dept seems to be very pathetic in the entire hotel
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great hotel to stay! Good location! - My parents stayed in the hotel for 2 days and visited Tirumala temple, and they really loved it. Breakfast buffet was awesome and the service was very good. The hotel is very close to lot of other restaurants, which was very convenient. Highly recommend!
- Ramesh (8/5): Neat hotel from Itc label - Neat comfortable stay whilst in holi city of tirupathi.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Old and worn out - - Better Hotels are available - Front desk service was poor.
Food was average; tasteless
Old and worn out.
Overpriced
- Venkat (10/5): Clean Hotel with good customer service - Pleased with the stay and easy reach to all amenities
- Verified traveler (2/5): bad service and terrible room condition - Leg me go through the nice things first:
The breakfast is nice;
They had complimentary bottled water
Now the bad things:
The parking here is terrible.. Some government employee vehicle blocked the parking entrance and the hotel stay could not do anything to clear it up... Waited for 20 min to get my car out;
the rooms are full of cockroaches;
The hotel made me wait in the lobby which was infested by mosquitoes in the middle of night for 40 min to find my reservation..
Overall.. I would never stay in this hotel again...
- Verified traveler (8/5): Home Away from Home - W stayed at this hotel for third time in last two years. Will always choose this hotel at Tirupati.Excellent staff.Ms Girija of front always helps you like a family member.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel near to city center - Nice stay and good ambience. Hotel staff very supportive.
- Sathyanarayana (8/5): Excellent - Excellent and over all it is great and wish to come again.
- Palasa (10/5): superb - It was superb stay we all enjoyed the stay and the service.
- SP Balasubramanian (4/5): Poorly maintained - The place is run down and the carpets in the corridors has foul smell.
The room had a smell of tobacco though requested for non- smoking room and the tag said so
The bathroom fittings are old and malfunction
The hotel need renovation badly
- MUNIR (8/5): Satisfied but nothing great - Better than other options available at Tirupathi.
- haroon (6/5): Good hotel in tirupati - A decent hotel in the heart of tirupati
- Amit (6/5): Old Property and bad food - Once rated as the best hotel in Tirupati, it has lost its charm, the rooms aren't renovated and the in room dining is very bad with limitem options
- Verified traveler (6/5): Stay at fortune tirupati - Horrible and stinky rooms. Checked out half way through , not the standards of fortune in other cities.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good located hotel,It is medium range hotel. Very nice managed and well maintained
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice and comfortable - It's a good place to stay with family. Nice and clean rooms with all facilities and staff is also helpful and courteous.
- Srinivas (8/5): Excellent hotel for a short stay - Stayed at Fortune Kences for a night, very condortable stay and very conveniently located. Got an awesome rate as well. It's an ITC group hotel so came with the associated standards. But the restaurants aren't much to speak about. Better off taking a short walk to Bhimas Residency or Minerva Coffee shop nearby for lunch or dinner.
- srinivas (10/5): Definetly will stay next time - Excellent hotel great room and the best breakfast. Restrooms are little bit on the down side.
- Saibal (8/5): One night stay - We arrived late at night at Tirupati Railway Station. The hotel organised transport to pick us up and bring us to the hotel. At the hotel the time taken at the Reception was minimal. We were taken to our room and we found it to be clean and the beds properly prepared. We slept well. Next morning we had a good breakfast (Complimentary). The hotel helped us to locate a cab to take us to Tirumala hill and to drop us there.
Overall a very satisfying experience
- Rajesh (2/5): Worst Hotel with Lack of Hospitality services - We are writing this review as the Hotel is the most pathetic hotel which is ruining Fortune group name.
- rajkumar (8/5): Fortune Kences Tirupathi-Perfect Stay - This is a great property if one is looking for clean, comfortable and economical stay. The staff is top of the line friendly and eager to assist. Location wise also it is next to the State Bus Stand and very near the Tirumala Toll (if Devasthanam is your destination).
Property per say has above average kind of looks and has nothing flashy/fancy to write back home about.
Overall great option if you are not too fussy about grandeur etc.
- veerendra (10/5): - Good hotel, good staff.
