- Megan (10/5): - I have never had a better experience at a hotel. I did thorough research to find the right place and it did not disappoint. The owners are the kindest, most genuine people. The property clearly demonstrates the meticulous care as well as effort for their guests. It is clean, cozy, enchanting, private and unique. I am actually sad that I cannot stay a bit longer but I’ve already rebooked my next stay. Also, if you’re visiting for the arts or artistic performances, then this is your perfect spot. The Marian Anderson Hall is right around the corner. This is truly the cities biggest hidden gem.

Victoria‘s hospitality was above and beyond and really gave you the layout of the city right when you got there. The property was perfect for walking around and getting out and about in A surrounded by a ton of amazing restaurants, restaurants. We will definitely be coming back!

Somewhat limited (2-7pm) check-in hours (which are communicated to the guest by email and phone). Exceedingly helpful and friendly owner and staff. Beds are very comfortable. Be aware of no elevator if mobility challenged.

Everything from the beds to linens and robs were top notch. The rooms have little touches like wine, assorted beverage glasses and an iPad with room and area information. Only complaint is drapes in room flimsy and not lined or room darkening. TP on the low end of quality for such a lovely home. Bed and linen comfort excellent. Go to Bellini’s for Italian down the street. Food good and owners ( brothers) a hoot!

This is a small property with I believe only 11 rooms/22 guests so it was quiet. The backyard garden was very nice.

This too followed in the room - such care taken in selecting the decor, and everything was spotless. The bed was super comfy, the linens crisp and delicious, the 3 shower heads and bathtub, so inviting. The hosts Victoria and Ken were so friendly and helpful, they clearly care about their guests and the experience.

The proprietors are quite chatty, but you do get very personal service that you don't get at other hotels. Our room was on the top floor and there were a lot of stairs, no elevator, so that was a bit challenging.

There is a market, a CVS, restaurants and a delicious vegan bakery along with other businesses within walking distance. The air in my upstairs apartment (room) went out and I was moved quickly to another room. It will feel like you have stepped into Breakfast at Tiffany’s with this gem hotel. Whenever I return, I will definitely stay here.

The city house was transformed into a beautifully elegant, impeccably designed hotel that offers privacy and comfort. The owners were so wonderful and welcoming, and switched our room to the Suite when they heard it was our anniversary. It was a beautiful spacious room with a newly renovated bathroom with a large tub and shower. We were stunned with how beautiful the hotel was and the service that was offered. It made for a wonderful stay, and next time we are in Philly- we know where we’re staying!

I loved the unique touches in the room, the large mirrors, and cool artwork. Wish I could have stayed longer, but I enjoyed my night there - it is definitely a unique stay, with a super comfortable bed :) and I would recommend it!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Prior to arrival I called to inquire about parking and Vittoria one of the owners was very helpful in recommending that we book tours etc prior to arrival and made some restaurant recommendations. Upon arriving Ken, the other owner, greeted us and helped us with our bags to the room. The city hotel is lovely, one of the nicest I've stayed and quite comfortable. Overall you can't go wrong with this little gem near Rittenhouse Square.

- Annette (10/5): Cozy, Chic, and Convenient - When Vittoria first got in touch to confirm our check-in, I was a little worried, because it sounded like our late arrival would be a problem. But she merely wanted to make sure that Candace was on-site. That's when I knew this place was going to be different from any other place we have stayed -- if anything, I'd say it's like a B&B/hotel hybrid. And that's a great thing. Candace was very sweet and accommodating; such positive interaction made the experience more personal. I was wowed by the modern decor throughout -- the common room with tea and coffee with the ostrich statue -- and our well-appointed room was spacious but felt warm and cozy. The location can't be beat, with all of the great restaurants and stores within walking distance. All in all, my husband and I were truly impressed and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Excellent residental neighborhood with great restaurants, shopping and transportation within an easy walk. With stairs and small bath not the best choice for guests with limited mobility.

- Margaret (10/5): Perfect getaway in the City! - We loved our stay in this charming city house hotel. I had a hard time finding the house, and Victoria worked with me on the phone until I got there! The house is really well decorated and is spotless! We arrived on a Friday night, parked in garage on the adjacent street, and didn't pick up our car until we left on Sunday. We walked everywhere from this central location. The house is located in a great neighborhood with restaurants right next door. Victoria explained the local bus called Phlash and how the city is laid out. She recommended which places to visit. She was a great tour guide! Jeff took our bags to our room, and we were able to leave them in the office on Sunday until we left for our afternoon flight. It was a charming place to stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great hotel not too far from the attractions. The staff was polite and helpful, allowing us to drop our bags off early so we could do some sightseeing the first day. Quite possibly the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in. I would stay again in a heartbeat if we make it back to Philadelphia.
