• Sian (7/5): A pleasant stay that is really well located. - Good location to travel around the bay of islands and up to Cape Reinga - very close to Waitangi Treaty grounds. Staff were lovely and helpful. Good cooking facilities. The bedroom door fell off the hook when using it and the bunk beds were not comfortable. The kitchen tap water was quite earthy tasting.

• Meringaroto Donna (8/5): Great Waitangi Holiday Park Accommodation - Cabins were comfortable and clean. Nice water view from cabin. Grounds spacious and tidy. Bathrooms clean. Kitchen amenities good. Handy to Waitangi Treaty Grounds, Paihia & Russel Car Ferry.

• John (8/5): Top spot - Great location close to Waitangi treaty ground and supermarket. Million dollar setting, very quiet. The cabin being small needed some shelves to get a few of our things off the floor.
• Jane (9/5): Peaceful alternative to nearby Paihia - Quiet and tranquil. Easy walk to beach and supermarket. Comfortable outside table and chairs; spacious cabin. Ablution blocks were clean but one of the showers constantly flooded. Sheet situation for cabins was weird. Shame that there is no inside kitchen sink.

• Matthew (8/5): Perfect - Beautiful location. Showers hot with great pressure. Chalet was basic but super clean and comfy, the views are incredible. Price was very affordable. Kids wanted a tv but us adults for the price couldn’t complain!!

• Naomi (8/5): Beautiful setting, great value for money overall, made for unforgettable memories. - Spacious cabin, decently equipped, good furniture, comfy beds and incredible view. Facilities there were good and in working order. Campsite was so quiet and peaceful. Both staff and visitors were lovely. Got incredibly hot in the day in the cabin and surprisingly cold at night. I couldn’t bathe my baby as there was nowhere to wash her, even holding her in the shower was not possible as there was no space to put things.

• Isabelle (8/5): - Fantastic place, the view is stunning and you spend a peaceful time here. Lovely cabin! Great place if you want to visit Paihia and Russell and go on a tour on the bay. The drinking water has a very strong dust/soil taste, and many ants inside the cabin (but we usually camp with a tent so it’s ok to share the place with insects haha)

• Suzanne (10/5): Perfect for a simple family holiday - Great little cabin complete with microwave, kettle, small fridge and toaster plus our own set of crockery, cutlery. Communication from staff was great as we were there during the big storm and there was emails with information about what to do and how to make contact. Didn't not like anything but this is a very simple campground but this is reflected in the fair price.

• Sarah (9/5): Fantastic park with great bunk houses - Fantastic Park. We had 2 bunkhouses next door to each other and they were fab; comfy beds, excellent cooking facilities, plates, crockery etc. Central kitchen/washing up room always spotlessly clean, BBQs were great to be able to use. Would be good if each bunkhouse could have a 5L bottle or such like that you could fill with water to refill kettle etc. so you didn't have to keep walking over to taps every time you want water supply.

• Debra (8/5): New Year 2026 - Comfortable beds, clean & friendly reception staff. Easy to use lock on gate after returning to camp grounds.. We didn't use kitchen facilities. Otherwise toilets close to cabin. Funny time to clean showers & toilets at 10am. I think some campers not happy

• Naomi (7/5): Great friendly staff, welcoming staff but extra planning needed incase rain is encountered. - Views were amazing! Cabins were located close by the amenities which were great for going to cook dinner in the kitchen and ensure you could be near the kids. How the gravel was so uneven so with a little rain there were huge puddles around, not easy to avoid to get back to the cabin when you needed to go out to the amenity block. Shoes got flooded and being in a remote place not easy to buy another pair, we didn't think the rain was going to be that bad when we left home days before arriving. Beds were extra firm, which is good if that's what you like...we didn't.

Absolutely returning. - Location: Close to the moana (beach), kids could swim, play and run around with plenty of grass area available. Facilities: Washing machines and Dryers onsite because we had 3x young boys who loved exploring. Kitchen: very clean & tidy Bathroom: very clean & tidy Staff: very friendly, helpful staff - Thank you Marianne. Suggestions; Wet floors in bathroom area. Although, I do appreciate they were still very clean. However, it would be nice to have floors dried. Some campers not cleaning up themselves after using toilets. I had a pregnant Mum in my group who refused to use the toilets due to either being blocked, or stains still left in toilet. I just cleaned them myself due to the hour - night, early morning. Maybe have signs - Please clean toilet after use! in various languages. Not having toilets in cabins LOL
