• Anna (10/5): City break in Porto - It’s super cosy place in the central location of Porto, we had a room with river view which was absolutely perfect. It’s very clean, people working there are amazing and there’s even a home made cake downstairs. If you are tall it might be a bit narrow. Still I consider it as a hidden gem in terms of Porto hotels.

Location was perfect for taxi pick-ups, Tram rides to the beach and access to the amazing back streets full of interesting cafes and restaurants, and only 10 min walk to the bridge Breakfast was perfect, a good range of options, including hot if requested

The room was beautiful and unique, featuring a natural piece of rock integrated into the design — really special. The location couldn’t be better: right by the river, just a short walk to the city center and even close to a McDonald’s. Upon arrival, we received a lovely welcome gift of cookies and wine because of a supposed issue with the air conditioning (which we actually didn’t experience at all). Bruna was incredibly kind and helpful with everything — she made our stay even better.

The hotel is quaint and beautifully appointed and the breakfast was wonderful. We would love to return to this very special place and of course we highly recommend it to travellers who are looming for something special.

• Astrid (9/5): Excellent start to my Portugal trip. Would def return - Great location, cute design, exceptional staff. The AC was not working and the hotel did their best to provide individual units in each room, but for that to work you needed to run the exhaust to the outside of the window. It was better to just open the window for a few hours during the night.
• Scott (7/5): Nice good location but if you want to sleep with a partner, beware. - Clean, great location, good breakfast and the view from the breakfast room of the river is exceptional. Plus, it's right next to a McDonalds and in easy location for doing things. Room photos give the impression beds are double beds. They are not. They are two single beds shoved together with separate sheets. So, being on our honeymoon, we were disappointed.

• Marchi (7/5): Quaint guesthouse in a great location with river views! - Room was small but typical for Europe. Friendly and helpful staff, room and guesthouse clean. Breakfast was good too! Location is right on the river with plenty of options for dining. Note that there are no elevators which was a minor issue for us since we'd been traveling for 2 weeks and had large suitcases that we had to bring up and down a few flights of stairs. Other than that slight inconvenience, the property and staff were lovely.

Die Lage ist unschlagbar, mittendrin, direkt am Wasser und doch ruhig. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet alles, was man braucht, um gestärkt auf Erkundungstour zu gehen. Tadelloser Reinigungsservice.

• Stacy (10/5): - Adorable historic boutique hotel! Recently renovated with a fantastic location on the Duro river and a nice breakfast. Be aware… the property is NOT staffed after 10 pm. So check in earlier than that. We checked in late in the day and needed to wait outside for the staff member to come to the property. We were a little thrown off by that. Think of it like a cross between a boutique hotel and an AirBnB! Once she got there we settled in and had a great experience. Staff during working hours is very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
• Kimberlee (10/5): - What a lovely small hotel. Bruna was incredible, best service one could imagine. Room 4 looked out over the river with a sweet balcony and an so comfortable bed. Great breakfast and wonderful location as you can walk to most places. Cannot recommend it enough.
• christopher (10/5): - This property is right on the river in an excellent location near lots of great restaurants, shops and excursions. The room was just as described, the bed was comfortable and the view was wonderful. The staff were great and the breakfast was very good. We had a few glitches at no fault of the property and they took responsibility and made our stay pleasant as possible. The parking is difficult in this area so if you can arrive without a car, that is best. We highly recommend it.
• Jiye (2/5): - Do not book this one. The staff was amateur and did not even know the price of the hotel. I was almost overcharged. The aircon is down and the hotel used temporary one which was inconvenient. The service was slow to response. The customers waited so long to have the answer for simple questions.

• Clare (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay and the lovely staff. - Location is fantastic, and our room was lovely. Very comfortable bed. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Cleanliness was exceptional. Breakfast was lovely. Some facilities could be improved. The fridge in the room didn’t work very well, and there was no facility to get milk late in the evening when staff weren’t on site. TV at the end of the bed felt a bit weird.

The access to the property was challenging for my husband's mobility scooter. There was no step free access & taxi could not take us right up to the door because of pedestrian area. This should have been highlighted before we booked.

Breakfast was enjoyable with good selection on offer and hot food offered if required. So this is not a five star hotel but rather a 4 star Bed and Breakfast. No AC available in the room we requested a fan No reception desk. No Bar. No restaurant. We had been staying elsewhere and moved here to join friends travelling from the USA. When we arrived I was SO disappointed. We paid a lesser price for a more superior offering. NOT good value for money

The breakfast was good but if you wanted eggs etc it was an extra fee which was not obvious. Area was noisy at night. Overal a nice stay in Porto.

Breakfast was in a lovely room. We loved our comfortable room including heated bathroom floor. The internet was fast. Having a view and access to the river was wonderful. Many places to explore. Everything was fantastic. Suggest using McDonalds as a landmark for taxis.
