Une sécurité à l'entrée avec un scan des effets à chaque entrée dans l'hôtel Notre séjour était très agréable la climatisation difficile à regler

• Matej (1/5): - The supervisor at the reception is racist. I went on a day trip to lake Kaptai. And I was waiting for the driver with my Bengali friend. He didn’t allow to wait her with me. There were no problems when other people had visitors only me because Im a tourist from Europe. It’s a shame and I will send an official complaint to your management. The name of supervisor at the reception is Phaneeh something like that. You should get some proper training or going to work at 1 star hotel.

• Philippe (9/5): Parfait et agréable pour travailler avec tous les services. - C’est une tour dans laquelle il y a absolument tous les services, plusieurs restaurants, Coiffeur, grande salle de sport, ce qui est rare, spa, etc. Café etc. tout appartient à l’hôtel, il y a même un tailleur pour recoudre vos vêtements et ils ne m’ont même pas fait payer. Le personnel est extrêmement agréable et gentil et on a une très belle vue sur la ville. Un havre de paix dans cette ville polluée … parfait pour travailler. Le rapport qualité prix est très bon. Comme dans toutes ces grandes tours, la clim centralisée est un petit peu bruyante…

Location was walking distance from everything I needed. Security was very good and I felt safe in the hotel. We cannot bring outside food in. Everywhere outside of Bangladesh allowed food to be brought into hotels except in 4-5 star hotels in Bangladesh. I’m not sure what the issue is as it should be at the guests own risk and discretion.

The doormen greeted me and helped with luggage promptly on a rain soaked day.The gentleman (Mr. Ankur) at the front desk was alert to my requests during check in( non-smoking room; queen bed, upper level floor; room away from the elevator; HDMI cable and connectivity). A nice touch- during check in, I was offered a cold flute of juice! Someone promptly brought the HDMI cable to my room and connected it to the TV Monitor before I even started unpacking! The non-smoking room with the queen bed was on the 14th floor, and away from the elevator; it was clean, tastefully decorated with all the amenities one would expect from a nice hotel. The bathroom was well designed, sanitized, clean with a great shower head and toiletries. Within 30 mins, the gentleman at the front desk called to check if everything was OK. The buffet style breakfast (included) was in a very large room with sumptuous cold & hot dishes(Chinese, Indian, Thai, Sri Lankan, Western, Sushi, etc.). There were many healthy food options(Chia seed, yogurt, many types of juices, cereals, freshly baked breads & pastries, etc.) There were several cooking stations preparing variety of egg dishes, as well as the Indian delicacies like Dosa. The waiters were promptly cleaning tables with large numbers of patrons dining all at the same time! The hotel had multiple restaurants and bars and other facilities on different floors, including a rooftop bar and restaurant with a pool & great view. The attending gentleman prepared and heated the sauna before my arrival so that I didn't have to wait. There were changing rooms and showers for users of the sauna and adjacent gym.House Keeping was impeccable & the gentleman ensured that my needs were met and helped me with my luggage during check out. The check out process was very smooth. The Concierge, Mr. Sabuj helped with luggage but also ensured my Uber parked where I wouldn't get wet! Nice service! Some instructions for controlling the thermostat would be helpful. Non-dairy/lactose free milk options. Better coffee. The room-service spring rolls were oily!

• Mohammad (6/5): 2 nights in Peninsula - I liked location, staff's are cordial, service. Cleanliness was not good, some staff r not efficient like manager of Saint's Café was really irritating. Foods in that café showing in menu and bills r not same they supplied in the table. When I informed the manager of the café he started to give horrible excuses and in our supplied ice cream we found hairs also. Horrible.

• Saalim (10/5): - So. If you’re a western traveller heading to Chittagong you’re probably trying for work out to stay at the peninsula or the Radisson. The peninsula is like an older ritz-Carlton property, (yes the mattresses could do with an update, but a firm and okay). The rooms on the smaller side are on par with a New York or London hotel, but perfectly functional. The service and food are exceptional. It’s a nice 3* room with 5* service. (The Radisson is a 4* room with 3* service - I’ve stayed at both.) I’ll pick the peninsula every day.
