Guest Reviews
- Michael (8/5): -
- Georgie (7/5): -
- Gabriela Adriana (9/5): Minunat - Localizarea în centrul Romei, amabilitarea personalului, curățenia, izolarea fonica, micul dejun N/A

- Nguyen (10/5): It was lovely and staff was very helpful - It was extremely comfortable, the staff was also lovely and the location was very convenient, just a few minutes from the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and underground metro which facilitated easy movement Stairs, so much stairs 😭
- DayTrip52060820145 (4/5): Certainly not 4 stars! - Location is great but that is the only up of the place. The reception is tight with hardly any room to sit and wait. The staff is not rude, but not especially pleasant either. Our room was ok but very basic and smelled of bad drainage from the toilet. The lift is tiny and doesn’t go to all the floors. Breakfast is in the building across the street accessible by 3 flights of stairs. Food is not great and you will be better off eating out in the nearby places. The hotel is bed and breakfast standard not 4 stars as it suggested! No toilet in the reception and no facilities on the site.

- ellym1996 (8/5): Perfect location for a short stay trip - The hotel is in such a brilliant location, in very close proximity to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps less than 10 minute walk and the Colosseum, Pantheon and Palatine Hill are only 15-20 minute walk away. We walked pretty much everywhere with the exception of visiting the Vatican due to being 45+ minute walk and our early morning booking.
Overall, the room was clean, had everything we’d need. It is a small/narrow building so the rooms aren’t very spacious, just be aware if you’re travelling with multiple cases. We were on floor 5 and found it to be very warm, we couldn’t get the AC to work so had the windows open which just meant the noise from the street was much louder but that’s just Rome! You’re in the middle of the city, it’s what you’d expect.
I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast option, there’s plenty of bakeries, cafes and restaurants nearby. We had one experience on our first morning of the hotel breakfast, where we had to leave the building to go to another building. Once there, none of the tables were clean, the breakfast room is incredibly tight anyways so you had very little room to sit, you had to squeeze by to let others past, and we found the breakfast options were pretty poor. Also the coffee machine wasn’t working. As we left a member of staff did apologise so maybe we just had our experience on a bad day for them
Overall, a nice hotel to stay for a short trip

- Kaymac7 (8/5): Fantastic Location - After reading reviews I was very sceptical, and when, on checking in, we were told that a colleague would escort us to our room in another building across the road, my heart sank
However the room was small but very acceptable, with a well equipped bathroom with good walk in shower
Beds were made and fresh good sized towels daily
It was more like an apartment as no hotel lobby to relax or bar
However in Rome we were out and about so didn’t miss these facilities
Location was perfect, lots of eating places around and close to a number of main attractions
We were room only so can’t comment on breakfast
I would definitely stay again and I according to my loved ones are “quite fussy”

- vicmik2023 (8/5): Waiting on a reply from the hotel regarding my left bag of Jo Malone perfume - After having a lovely two day trip to the art hotel in Rome with no complaints at all really. We didn’t actually stay in the hotel we were put in an apartment block next door which was fine. We had a lovely big room which was spotlessly clean and all staff lovely and very helpful. I now have to complain that none of my messages on email and Instagram have been answered and when I try to ring the reception it just says it can not connect me. I have left my brand new Jo Malone perfume still in the bag in the room on the table in room when we checked out on Sunday morning around 10.15. When I discovered I had left the perfume yesterday after unpacking my case I sent an email straight away and an Instagram message and also tried to ring the 24 hour reception but also with no joy. I have sent several follow up messages but still have had no reply, just a simple acknowledgement would be nice and obviously to check if my perfume has been put to one side by the wonderful room cleaning team

- Feras (8/5): More discount about the price - The location Little pricey
- kellycN6073PN (6/5): Awful receptionist!! - Arrived on Thursday morning and I I must say the receptionist who greeted us was very nice and friendly. Although he did tell us that we were not in fact staying at this hotel after all, but instead at the Trevi Hotel Collection on top of the street. Fortunately this other hotel was nearby, clean, very friendly accommodating staff, and in hindsight I’m so glad we stayed in the alternative hotel, although I’m aware they come under the same group.
When I was getting my airport transfer this morning, (sunday 1st) , I had to make my way back to the Rome Art Hotel. This was at 6.20am. Note that I had my 9 year old son with me , just wakened. I was greeted with a different receptionist, having a full arguement with my bus transfer driver. He was shouting non stop. The driver thankfully remained calm. The receptionist was so so angry and shouting. I felt so uncomfortable and uneasy , as did my son , first thing in the morning. He eventually spoke to me to tell me this was my driver. He asked for my room key, but before letting me even explain the scenario of being changed to an alternative hotel days ago, he got so agitated that I was not a resident of this hotel and had no room key. He proceeded to shout. I told him he was being so rude and he continued to be so argumentative , that he was not rude and followed me outside the door. Extremely unprofessional. I left that hotel feeling so embarrassed and thankful I was not staying in that particular hotel after all. Awful that he thinks he can act this way as a staff member.
All staff at the Trevi Hotel Collection were fantastic!! So make sure to book that hotel rather than the Rome Art Hotel.
- Shawny1995 (10/5): We would definitely return - The hotel was perfect for our requirements. We travelled as a family of 4 and the room we were given was very spacious, 2 double beds with plenty of room to spare. The location was great, a short walk from the trevi and other attractions. If you walked in any direction from the hotel you were sure to find something!
The room was clean on arrival and cleaned everyday. We loved opening the windows and watching everything going on outside.
The gentleman at reception was warm and welcoming and there was someone who helped us take our bags to our room on arrival.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Rome, it’s a great base for exploring.

- Signe (8/5): Et fint ophold. - God beliggenhed.
- angela (9/5): Perfect location - Everything was perfect location especially Nothing
- Pablo (5/5): -

- B6701HYdavidj (8/5): Rome is great - Hotel was nice and clean. Rooms where big location was great. Breakfast was not great. If I went there again I would skip that .the first day we went to a pizza place under the building. Alfredos they ripped us off. avoid this place .they go by some other name .don't think the Hotel are anything to do with them. But they should tell ther guests to avoid. Giving rome a bad name.

- 777odedn (8/5): Roberto makes the experience exceptional - Location is exceptionally good, the team is friendly, and Roberto at the reception helped us with anything we needed in a very efficient manner.
- 535mikaelat (10/5): Beautiful hotel, great location, lovely staff - Lovely hotel in the heart of the city! Great room with a beautiful view of the busy streets below. You can use the steps to get up to your room if your someone who doesn’t like lifts, or you can use the adorable historic lift. Hotel showers are a real deal breaker for me and this one was fantastic. The room was spotless and it’s clear their cleaners are very thorough.
Staff was fantastic and friendly. Sall checked us in and was kind and cheerful. Roberto checked us out and he was also fantastic and friendly. If the big bosses are reading this make sure to give them a reward for their amazing service! 😊
- Passenger32884246589 (10/5): The best experience - This trip was amazing, the recepcionist Robeto has been always so nice and sweet with us just like all the other employees. The brekfast was so delicious with a lot of choices of what to eat. The room very comfortable and clean. This hotel very recomendate it :)

- victoriamA8578XA (10/5): Lovely stay - Hotel is lovely clean & new looking. Close to major sights. Roberto was lovely in reception. Showers were hot & stream good. Could not fault it.
- Expedition564632 (10/5): Great Hotel- Stupendous Service - The Rome Art Hotel was FABULOUS. We were in a bind and Paolo welcomed us with a smile and immediately checked us in and got us into our room. He was so kind and provided impeccably awesome service. We stayed 9-3 and 9-4 the room was clean and spacious. The hotels location is super walkable to Trevi Fountain- The Pantheon- Spanish Steps and great restaurants. We had such a great stay we booked another night for 9-11 when we were returning to Rome. Of course- we enjoyed more exemplary service with Roberto who arranged an early morning cab for our trip to the airport. To anyone needing to stay in Rome- The Rome Art Hotel is an amazing place with even better service provided by Paolo and Roberto. Thank You
- M8122XWadamf (8/5): Would stay again - Hotel is fab, but on the 1st night we were put in a very small room on the 5th floor. I straightaway asked for a different room, Paulo in reception was very nice and explained that they didn’t have a room available for the 1st night, but he would sort us out the next day and true to his word we moved to a lovely room on the 3rd floor the next day.
The hotel is in an excellent location for sightseeing with the trevi fountain within a 5 min walk. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. The staff were lovely and friendly
- daS1629QW (10/5): Excellent customer service - The Rome Art Hotel was good and Roberto in reception was great. He was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. Thanks Roberto!
- sharondA5984GR (10/5): Fabulous from start to finish - Our Group choose the Rome Art for our trip and it did not disappoint. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff were super helpful. A special hello to, Roberto who was very helpful and friendly. This hotel is an ideal location. Walking distance to all attractions and close to lot's of shops and restaurants. I will highly recommend to family and friends and I hope my wish at the fountain brings me back and I can do it all again.
- sarsoura144 (10/5): A perfect stay in the heart of Rome - I’m so glad I chose Rome Art Hotel — it truly surpassed my expectations. Before booking, I read several negative reviews, especially about guests being placed outside the main building, so I was a bit hesitant. But my experience was completely different and absolutely positive.
We were given a lovely room in the main building, on the third floor, with a window facing the street — such a charming view to fall asleep and wake up to. The room was clean, comfortable, and had that classic Roman charm.
The staff were exceptional. Olga, Paolo, and the kind young man on the afternoon shift, were all incredibly welcoming and helpful. Paolo even arranged a taxi for me that arrived right on time.
Location-wise, it’s perfect — within easy walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and hop-on hop-off bus stop. Honestly, I’m so happy we stayed there and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
- travelor492 (4/5): NOT a 4 star hotel - Is the location good? Yes. But it is at the very center of the city so it’s extremely congested - but that’s all cities. However you can walk to a lot. Is this a 4 star hotel? Absolutely not. There is a main door and a teeny tiny lobby with no amenities. Our room was in a separate building across the street of which the entrance looks extremely shabby. Broken flooring all over the place and an antique elevator that hasn’t been cleaned since it was installed. Outside our room was very dirty carpet and filthy handprints on all the doors. The rooms themselves were a moderate size but looked like an IKEA installation. One evening another company was hauling in bags of laundry lining the halls and told us the elevator was not for our use, leaving my elderly parents to haul up flights of stairs after walking all day. Another day the people in the room next to us banged on our door to say the safe in their room had been robbed. So was this a comfortable stay? No. Stay elsewhere.
- Walkerx2 (8/5): Art Hotel Rome - Stayed here on a 4 night trip with my husband. The check In Was good, the person at reception carried our cases to our room across the street. Reading reviews before hand I was a little concerned but there was no need to worry. We were in room 1, the room was very good, clean and tidy. Bathroom was great, clean and stocked with a few small necessities. The bedroom was good, clean. There’s a fridge which in the heat we needed.
The hotel is on a road. When the window was closed we couldn’t hear the traffic. Breakfast is good and plentiful. There’s a microwave if you need to warm something up. The cheese toasties are marvellous.
The entrance to the hotel leaves a lot to be desired, once on The floor of the rooms it is fine.
The hotel is ideally situated for some of the tourist parts of Rome, trevi fountain is very close do are the Spanish steps and Pantheon. Taxi was €13 to colosseum, €13 to Vatican.
If I were to go again I’d stay at this hotel.
- Imad (6/5): - As with other reviews, we were moved to a second building. It really wasn't a big deal as it is just across the street. There are stairs though before reaching the tiny elevator. The staff will help with luggage. The room we had was large, but hot water was unreliable. If you don't mind an older hotel, it is in a great location.
- Daklala (10/5): - Perfecto
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location
Staff & friendly and helpful
Beds are rather hard but rooms are clean and well sized
- H8660NVelaines (4/5): Don’t use this hotel - This hotel was disappointing. There are two towers and the side where they put us had an ancient elevator. We arrived too early to check in and had to go into go downstairs to use their bathroom. It was awful and dirty. The hallways are dirty. The beds and pillows are hard, the staff
Are hurried and unfriendly, but the worst is that my husband and I got very sick right after eating their buffet breakfast. The rooms are small but the bathroom was nice.
- keersm (10/5): Fantastic Weekend - Visited Rome for a birthday celebration and the rugby
Perfect location for exploring
Superb breakfast, delicious home cooked food
Lovely, helpful staff
Basic accommodation, but spacious and meticulously clean… the room was serviced daily
- Janelucygeri (2/5): Worst check in ever. - Stayed in this hotel for three nights March we arrived at this hotel late on a Thursday night with two young children and elderly parents, the service at check in was appalling the lady could not of been any more rude or hostile.
We had to cross a busy road with all our luggage with no help, she gave us key card to get into the other part of the hotel but didn’t give us any information reg how to get to our room.
We struggled to get into the building as we had children with us lots of luggage and the key card wouldn’t work. I dropped my handbag everything spilled out and the lady from the desk stood there looking at us rolling her eyes without offering help.
The only saving grace for this hotel is the location, room was clean.
- Mahmut (6/5): - Localization is good. Breakfast was another building
- shanweeks (8/5): Great hotel, perfect location - Overall we had a great stay and this hotel is perfect for a city break. It has everything you need, the location is perfect, 5 minute walk to the metro with direct access to the station for airport trains and route for Vatican city. It is only a 10 minute walk to the spanish steps and only about 5 to the Trevi fountain where there are so many shops/bars/restaurants! From this hotel, you can walk to all the tourist sites/landmarks.
The room we booked a double but requested a twin directly with the hotel which was kindly accommodated. Nothing to fault with the room, comfy beds, great shower, heating/AC, even a mini fridge (extra charge but decent price) but just fill yourself! Cleaner every day who made up the beds, refreshed the towels and tea station which is not often done for a city break stay!
Tourist tax paid on arrival was €60 for 4 nights as expected. We were able to leave our luggage the day of check out so we could go out before heading to the airport which is always handy. Could have probably done this on arrival too.
There can be noise at night/early mornings so bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper!
The only thing we worried about was our room being across the road (not in the same building as lobby) but this didn’t bother us, just like being in airbnb!
Overall great stay and would definitely recommend.
- 99bethaneyr (10/5): Exceeded Expectations - I was initially sceptical about this hotel after reading a few negative reviews, but I can honestly say it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay. The lady on reception even took the time to recommend great places to eat and explore by drawing on a map, which really added to our trip.
Our room was lovely, with a nice view of the streets. Everything was clean and well-maintained.
There was a minor issue with someone knocking on our door early in the morning on two occasions, but that was certainly no fault of the hotel, and it didn’t impact our experience.
I’ve already recommended this hotel to friends and family—my parents have even booked for early next year—and I will definitely be returning myself. If you’re looking for a welcoming, well-located place to stay in Rome, this hotel is a fantastic choice!
- refmd (6/5): OK but with concerns..... - Hotel with the lobby/some rooms is in one spot & other rooms out/across a cobbled street, up 10 steps, and w/ winding halls. Cute but antique small elevator. No help w/ luggage. Room OK & clean but small; little countertop/closet space. Breakfast varied, hot, & excellent but was back in the main lobby area. Not far from Spanish Steps & Trevi Fountain (closed as becoming a ticketed attraction in future). Taxis can be hard to catch; Uber doesn't come to your exact spot. Beware of nearby restaurants; food is good but some have very deceptive prices & unreasonable bills.
- Christopher (10/5): - Central to everything in Rome.
- craig (10/5): - The hotel was near lots of shops and restaurants there was even a supermarket 2 minute walk and we were close to the trevi fountain and spanish steps and we did the hop on hop off bus and the stop was only 5 minute walk from hotel
- 733jonw (10/5): Excellent Stay - Where do I start
I had read some bad reviews especially about the part of the hotel in the building opposite reception.
When we arrived we were told that our room was opposite so we were a little worried. As you go into the building it's not the most glamorous. We were taken up to the first floor in a lift that looked like it belonged in the 1920's. Then we went through a door and suddenly it was a different world. Very clean, modern and good air conditioning.
It does turn out that the building is occupied by other businesses but that doesn't affect your stay and many hotels in Rome operate like this.
You have to remember where you are.
Rome us about 2700 years old.
The building is about 170 years old.
While walking up the stairs you will notice that the steps are bowed in the middle from years of wear.
It depends what type of person you are.
Whether you think it's not right that they are like that, or, like us, you think WOW, it's amazing how old this place is and embrace the charm.
If you are the former, why go to Rome with all the ancient ruins?
As for reception staff, we were welcomed by Sonia. She was so kind and helpful and really friendly.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again
Thank you for your hospitality
- FellowTraveler718150 (2/5): Worst customer service and specially reception person called Raj. - I wish I can give it half a point which will be too much even.
Worst customer service and the guy at the reception named Raj is totally impolite, not only he is not willing to work but also moke people and show a very bad attitude. We have been to 5 cities in Italy and all the people where welcoming and friendly but one staff like Raj can ruine your whole experience.
From another side the rooms are clean and location is close to some attractions which ok if you are fine with some noise and a lot of traffic.
- Adriponz (2/5): Nothing good about this place - Don't be fooled by this place. Not even close to a 4 star Hotel. Worst costumer service, they have no idea of what hospitality is and breakfast is not good at all. If you can find somewhere else to stay don't hesitate. I don’t recommend this place at all.
- carlosd105 (2/5): 2 star at best - Terrible service. Not welcoming at all. The people in front desk are not willing to help and the treatment is awe full.
Rooms are ok for a 2 star hotel. Nothing close to the 4 star rating they try to sell.
The hotel is in a separate building, with alot of stairs and a very old elevator which makes it very complicated to move bags. The building is shared with private apartments a different types of business
- Verified traveler (4/5): Horrible checking process, staff not well trained. - Stay was ok. This is NOT a 4star hotel as your site has it. Its at best a 3, mostly a 2 star. Checkin process was horrible. There was an old lady who first made it look like we had wrong number guests in reservation, she kept asking for my credit card for incidentals as well as city tax, not once but probably 20 times which was mind blowing
- G8195PIrobm (10/5): 40th birthday celebrations - If you want to see everything, this is the place to stay, all attractions within walking distance, really central, lots of shops and restaurants too.
We would also like to thank Olga who works on the hotel reception, we had our flights cancelled and we needed to stay another day, Olga ensured that we had the same room so we didn't need to check out, she was very quick to assist us with anything we needed, she even organised a taxi to the aiport for our new flight too, thank you Olga
Robbie and Millie
- daniellebD7031RB (6/5): Great for location - Stayed here this week. The location is perfect, 5 minute walk in one direction to the Spanish Steps, 5 minutes the other way is the Trevi Fountain with lots of restaurants and bars. There are 2 supermarket type shops within 2 minutes if you needed supplies like water etc. Spagna and Barberini metro stations are also within minutes.
Receptionists were lovely and very helpful, they will book you a taxi to the airport if needed.
We stayed in the building across the road and stayed on the 1st floor. Very secure as you need your room key to get into the corridor where the rooms are. The room was large and had a view of the main road but this was a negative as there were 2 restaurants there and it was a very busy road. We barely slept as the noise was terrible. Bins were emptied at 1 in the morning, cars up and down, people shouting, all of which didn’t die down until early hours. We found the floor in the room to be dirty as our socks were always covered in dirt/dust and the shower seal wasn’t good and the shower could do with an upgrade. Hairdryer is pretty poor too. Despite this the air con worked great and had plenty of space to store clothes, the safe worked etc.
Would stay here again purely for the location, hoping to be in a room away from the main road.
- BS01031981 (10/5): Rome Art Hotel - Nice hotel. All our requirements were met and no complaints. Thought we were staying in the building where we checked in and out, but ended up staying in a building across the street. No big deal. Nice room. Definitely would stay here if I visited Rome again. 100%
- S4657MPpaulc (10/5): Great location, and Giovanni is the man!😀 - We were initially a bit disappointed as the room was in an old building across the road from the actual hotel..the lift to our floor was ancient and the room number was written in pen on paper stuck to the door- frame..the view was awful..besides that the room itself was fine and the location is great...The star of the show was Giovanni from reception! Lovely guy and a credit to the hotel! Despite the initial reservations we rate this as top marks, due to cleanliness, location, and of course Giovanni! We will stay again!
- Mark (8/5): - Very well located and clean hotel. Great value for money.
- Fatima (2/5): - I did not like the hotel at all. The hotel rooms are very, very small and the hotel design is very bad. The reception is in a building and the rooms are in another separate building, and moving with bags is very tiring from one building to another. You have to cross the street and carry the bags up a long flight of stairs. I will not repeat the experience at this hotel.
- Marko (6/5): - Clean but small rooms. Very clean. The lobby is separated from some of the hotel rooms. Difficulties with check-in and a very late check in.
On the other side, this is probably the best location in Rome.
- Louise (6/5): - Hotel was clean. We stayed next door at the annex hotel which has a lot of stairs to get to lift which we were not told and a lot of stairs to get breakfast in another building which again were a lot of stairs that were not told to us. Stairs are uneven in both locations that were not easy for older couple
- Nancy (4/5): - This property is not for guests with mobility issues. Too many stairs, lift not reliable if guests don’t close woden doors, bed are too hard, shower/bath to narrow & breakfast dining area very cramped and not a pleasant experience due to lack of space and no air conditioning. However the staff were super friendly and they helped with the baggage & great location for tourist attractions.
- Richard (8/5): - Room was very nice and spacious but unfortunately beds were very hard and there was a green blinking light on the ceiling above the bed which made it very difficult to sleep
- mary (10/5): - Room was nice and comfy, location of the hotel is very central and convenient. Breakfast was full of variety and staff were friendly. We stayed one night and had a good experience. I definitely recommend this hotel.
- Alexandra (10/5): - Very nice hotel, for a short stay was perfect
- yessenia (8/5): Boutiqe hotel cemtrally located. - Rooms are small and clean. We were able to drop off our bags until our room was ready which was nice. Breakfast is not included but there is a cute cafe around the corner with great coffee! The hotel is located in a perfect spot to catch the metro or walk to many places.
- Jason (6/5): - Rooms are in a different building than the Reception area. We found several dead bugs on our bed and the washrooms were very dirty. We did not feel comfortable walking barefoot, or use the towels in the bathroom. Also the Air Conditioner never stayed on.
- Frances (8/5): - Loved the surrounding area as it was very convenient to all of the tourist attractions in Rome.
Our rooms were in an old preserved building across the street which was a bit inconvenient in the mornings going for breakfast. Out bedrooms located on the first floor were beautifully renovated with views out on to the local area. Unfortunately we had no hot water at times in the shower. Breakfast food was really good but the eating area was very small.
Overall great value for money and within walking distance of all of Rome's tourist attractions.
- Megan (10/5): - I absolutely love this hotel. The location is excellent and the staff is so nice and helpful. I will certainly be back here!
- cali (2/5): - I want to preface this by saying I have never left a bad review of a property ever, especially while traveling abroad. But the customer service at this hotel was so bad it left me physically shaking/ upset. I booked the Rome Art Hotel, we arrived and were taken to another hotel "Trevi Group Hotel" with no explanation (in hindsight it seems they overbooked the Art Hotel and brought us to the back up) which was fine for 1 night.
When we arrived the room smelled heavily of heavy duty cleaning supplies, had a run down interior, was dirty (hair in shower) and was not overall not very nice - but it was tolerable and we didn't want to complain because we just needed to crash before a flight out. The shower head did not work and we had to use the hand wand to shower, and the wifi kept cutting out. Tried to call the front desk 7 times with no answer that night and in the morning.
In the morning when I was checking out I tried to talk to the front desk agent "Sarah" - probably the worst hotel customer service representative I have ever encountered. She yelled at me repeatedly, did not apologize for the pretty extreme issues or offer any kind of explanation, and did not listen or attempt to rectify any of my concerns. (I was very calm and did not lose my cool or yell)
No way I can recommend this Hotel because of terrible service- if mgmt is reading this please discuss with the desk rep. on Aug 15 at 7:30am - she needs some serious service training
- sue (8/5): - Very nice hotel and staff. Only I did not like that we needed to use the staires with baggages
Location is perfect.
- Christopher (10/5): - Great location, great hotel and helpful staff. Love Rome and will be back to this hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel is in an excellent location, within a short walk of attractions such as the trevi fountain, the Spanish steps and piazza nirvona. The hotel room was spotless.
- Verified traveler (6/5): It is what it is. - Get what you pay for. Weird in many ways; rooms across the street, no phones in the room to call, no parking, weird reception. But it’s a good location, and not expensive. Room was clean, and bathrooms nice.
- B A (6/5): When the hotel is not what you booked - Despite getting confirmation 4 days prior when we arrived at the hotel they had no booking for us.They however did make great endeavours to find alternative accommodation and this was very good but in another part of Rome.In the fine print when we booked accommodation there was a note that that actual room was at another location! This was not on the initial booking reservation. We booked here because we wanted to stay here not somewhere else. However the staff were great in resolving the issue
- Richard (10/5): - We really enjoyed staying here. The room was very spacious and very clean. We found the location suited us perfectly as it was a lovely walk from the hotel to all the main sights. There is a supermarket just over the road also, which was handy. We would stay here again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bait and switch - Hotel did a bait and switch - told us there was mechanical issue for several days but never called us prior to arrival to see if we wanted to switch. Clearly they just overbooked and moved people. Claimed they were moving us to "superior 4 star" but carpets were filthy, mold in shower and we picked hotel to be by Trevi fountain and we were moved 20 minutes away.
- Maurice (6/5): - Location was good, took a day to get tv remote. Phone in room did not work to call front desk. Also no amenities in this building you have walk up street for breakfast or front desk.
- Tiesha (10/5): Last minute booking but awesome choice - I enjoyed the hotel. It was close to all the main attractions and reataturants. I would stay at the Trevor Collection again.
