So one is not sure where you will actually be located. We were under that it is one location with several wings to it. Not expecting that we will sleep in a house opposite the street.

Sandra (7/5): Not spectacular! - The location was good. We stay at many guesthouses, local and overseas! Felt a bit unsafe where the room was located. Came back at 23h00 and the back door was open. The property (person on duty) was suppose to close it when they get off duty. Aircon did not work properly in room. Water for tea was cold for breakfast....waited a long time to get hot water. Normally you get complimentary water in room (for the price you pay), not here.....R15 per small bottle.

The BnB was spotless, the beds super comfortable, and the hot water worked perfectly. DSTV was a nice bonus, and breakfast was top-notch. I advised the guesthouse that we would arrive at 17:00, however it was difficult to enter the premises and the we had to wait until such time that the manager could advise us where to go. I did think that charging separately for breakfast was perhaps asking too much.

Katarina (10/5): Exceptional experience - Few places remain with us, even after leaving. Evertsdal is definitely one of them. Me and my spouse had the most romantic getaway at this beautiful haven. From the moment we booked our stay, we were met with nothing but exceptional service - the staff here truly does go the extra mile to accommodate their guests. The place itself looks even better than the pictures, the housing unit we were staying at was stunningly decorated and had a fully equipped lounge and kitchen, a fantastic setup for bigger groups of people. Our double room was as cute and cozy as it can get - and exceptionally clean! All the equipment looked new and was in working order, so we were able to heat up the space (it was winter) within minutes. The intentionality in making their guest stay outstanding shows in little details, such as candles and matches next to the bath. A tasty breakfast was just the cherry on top of our overall perfect stay. This is a 5-star experience regardless of the room you book. 11 out of 10!
Annette (5/5): Pleasant guesthouse in quiet location. - The location worked well for us as it is close to family and was also very quiet. The check-in and check-out were seamless and the lady assisting us was very helpful and clear with instructions. The room was pleasant and equipped with a special lamp and candles for load-shedding. The KitKats on the pillows were a nice touch. Three things: The bed was too short for my husband and his feet had to hang over the edge of the bed. The bottled water in the room came at an extra charge of R15, which isn't a lot, however, we travel extensively and we don't ever pay extra for bottled water in the room. Lastly, at 7.15 am on a Sunday morning, a man began noisily sweeping the decking around the pool which was outside our window. This woke us up and kept us awake for around an hour and a half as he swept and moved furniture around, which was annoying as we had to leave SA that day and could have done with a bit more sleep.
