- Stephen (10/5): SQ 4 ME 2 - Second time at this hotel after an overnight Halong Bay cruise. This time I was given a free upgrade and have to say Wow! This room was at the back of the hotel and was humongous, I thought Superking was the largest bed size but this was something else, Very Big Budda maybe? Also had a nice two seater couch which I'd have liked in my house! In any case, fab room, same great staff & breakfast and I forgot to mention in my previous review the rooftop pool which is a great place to cool off after a sticky day in Hanoi. The hotel looked after my main luggage whilst I was in Halong and when I checked out early they opened the breakfast room sooner than normal to accomodate me. I'd have to invent something.!
- Stephen (10/5): SQ 4 ME - As with every place I've stayed in Vietnam, the staff were outstanding; attentive, capable and willing to go above & beyond the call of duty to help their customers. The hotel is perfectly positioned to explore Beer St, Train St., The Hanoi Hilton, Army Museum, night market, Lake Of The Sword, St Joseph's cathedral etc. Stayed 2 nights in 602 which is an inner room and the only window looks out onto what I'd call an inner shaft.. Normally I'd balk at that but in fact it was a blessing because it was really quiet at night and combined with lined curtains it made for an uninterrupted sleep. Aircon, bathroom, toiletries, tea, coffee were all more than adequate. Lovely big comfy bed & pillows and last but not least, they serve a great buffet breakfast. Can't think of a single thing.

Too deep and Tiny pool, unusable by children on their own. Bathroom next to the pool was unclean and shower wasn’t working properly. Gym was too small. They billed us 30k VND for minibar even though we used nothing from the minibar! Generally dry behaviour by staff.
- Claire (9/5): Great price, good rooms, perfect location. - I needed a family room as we were meeting my daughter. SQ Hang Gai fit the bill. The room was lovely, light and airey, spacious and the bathroom had a bath (a treat for my daughter who had been backpacking for 10 weeks and hadn't had a bath!) Breakfast had a good selection of a range of foods. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location was great. On a busy street and in the Old Quarter. Whilst I wouldn't say it was luxury, for the price of a family room in the Old Quarter, I think it was great value and I would recommend. They do lock the doors late at night but if you knock the porter opens them. I didn't know that was the case and was surprised after collecting my daughter from the airport in the early hours of the morning.

Room was clean,modern,nice cool air-conditoning and the bed was extremely comfortable. - Mark (9/5): - Location was great. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was comfortable and the breakfast was good and varied. The front doormen were really nice and always greeted us with a smile. Would recommend. Nothing really. A pleasant stay.

- Keith (10/5): Fantastic stay, will stay again if ever in Hanoi. - Excellent location, centrally located in Old Quarter, close to everything. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful especially Ms. Hannah, who helped arranged for airport pick up and drop off not only in Hanoi but for Da Nang as well. She went above and beyond to help with our requests. Free breakfast included and wonderful breakfast selections with both Westernized and Vietnamese breakfast. Nothing.

- Kristin (4/5): - Central. Most of the staff were nice. At the first stay, there were hair on the towels and in the bed. The floor was also dirty. In my second stay a few days later, it was clean-but a lot of bugs. I took out at least 9.
- Magdalena (7/5): Cómoda estadía - La ubicación muy buena y no se siente el ruido de la calle siendo que está en pleno old quarter, el desayuno estaba muy variado y rico, el personal muy atento (incluso nos hicieron cambio de dólares al valor de afuera para evitar cualquier problema con eso). Incluso nos tenían un pastel y flores cuando llegamos por nuestra luna de miel La ducha podría mejorar ya que tiene una cortina por fuera que no evita que se salga el agua al piso cuando uno se ducha. Además no tiene muy buena aislación de sonido dentro del hotel ya que incluso un día despertamos en la noche por personas hablando en el pasillo. Finalmente, terminando nuestra estadía, habíamos solicitado servicio de lavandería en el hotel para facilitarnos el proceso de lavar ropa, sin embargo, inicialmente perdieron la mitad de la ropa que habíamos mandado a lavar, tuvimos que estar al rededor de 1hra en recepción intentando ver que había pasado con ella y al hacer el check-out ni siquiera se nos ofreció disculpas por el inconveniente, solo se mencionó el que teníamos que pagar el servicio (fue un muy mal rato, aunque finalmente nos cobraron solo la primera parte de la ropa).

- Regine (8/5): Tolle Lage, freundliches Personal, vom Management geht da mehr. - Top Lage und sehr freundliches Personal im Frühstücksraum und als Portier. Nach unserer Beschwerde haben wir dann ab der 2. Nacht das Zimmer im 11. Stock mit großer Terrasse bekommen. Wir haben in der 1. Nacht zwar eine Suite bekommen, aber nicht wie gebucht mit Balkon oder Terrasse. Sprich zu viel Geld bezahlt, für ein Zimmer, was der Buchung nicht entsprach! Wir sind morgens um 08:00 Uhr angekommen und konnten erst ab 14:00 Uhr in das nicht gebuchte Zimmer einchecken. (ich hatte eine Vorabanfrage gestellt). Frühstücken war auch nur gegen Gebühr möglich, uns wurde der Pool angeboten, aber es hat geregnet. Es gab jede Menge Mini-Ameisen im Raum.

Breakfast was more than adequate but staff super friendly A little disappointed to learn that one of the rooms was classed as a suite when I dont think it was. However than said the room was still good and didnt affect the enjoyment

- 歩美 (10/5): 初めてのハノイ旅を最高にしてくれた。 - ロケーションが良い。 ハノイ旧市街、特にホアンキエム湖北側周辺の観光にアクセスが良い。 週末のナイトマーケットも近く、子連れの旅だったのでその点移動が楽だった。 近くにレストランも多く、滞在中困らなかった。 特になし。

Mooi rooftop terras bar en zwembadje Het ontbijt is goed lekker en uitgebreid Het personeel is gewoon geweldig!!! Niets is teveel voor zo. Ook tours boek je makkelijk ter plekke. Eigenlijk niets

На улице все у тебя под рукой. В тур агентство меняли деньги. Персонал молоды!!!!!! Народ Вьетнама очень милые люди, добрые и улыбчивы . Но все равно дороговато по отношению цена и качество. В середине марта бассейн холодный! Завтраки вкусные Туалет это целый квест, плохо смывает, душ течёт

- Carter (7/5): Overall a nice place to stay. - Location is good. Short walk to many places of interest. I booked the room with terrace and recommend that for everyone that can find it available. Lets you have some peaceful moments alone with your family anytime of day. The Gym and Pool were not what I expected but most people are really interested in these that are staying here. Do not get me wrong, it's a nice pool for relaxing on top of the building but not for laps. Gym has some cardio, and one or two weights.

Staff helped with booking our tours and airport pickup and return. a rooftop pool and small gym also at the hotel plus A Spa downstairs if you are wanting massages etc. Breakfast was excellent, great variety of both asian and western foods, best omletes we have every had. No complaints, very happy with the hotel.

- Clemens (9/5): Toller Aufenthalt in Ha Noi - Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel an der quirligen Hang-Gai-Ha-Straße 100 in idealer Lage zwischen Altstadt und französischem Viertel: Wir hatten ein schönes großes und vor allem ganz ruhiges Zimmer im 6. Stock mit Blick auf eine kleine Parallelstraße. Der schöne Hoam-Kiem-See und mit ihm das Wasserpuppentheater und die "Night Marked Street" (freitags und samstags Abend) sowie die katholische Kathedrale und die berühmte "Trai Street" liegen um die Ecke, den Literaturtempel, das Kriegsgefängnis und das Ho-Chi-Minh-Mausoleum erreicht man zu Fuß nach 20-30 Minuten und die wunderschöne Tran Quoc Pagode am Westsee nach 40 Minuten - man kann sich natürlich auch mit der Rikscha oder dem Stadtrundfahrbus (Startpunkt Nordufer des Hoam-Kiem-Sees) fahren lassen. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Hotelpersonal, exzellents Frühstück (Buffet nach vietnamesischer oder europäischer Art). Viele kleine Läden und Restaurants sind überall in der Nähe. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
