- Russell (6/5): - They kindly changed rooms from the first floor to ground level because of my wife’s bad hips, no lift. The room was tired, dusty and in need of a make over like they had the bathroom. The lock on the door wasn’t working, there was no lock on the window and the kitchen sink wouldn’t drain properly. When walking down the corridor to our room you could smell cigarette smoke while the staff would stand outside the reception door smoking as you walked past.

- Patricia M (8/5): - We recently stayed at the Beaumont Apartments in Kew. For the first 2 nights we were in a family room and as we were staying on due to my father being in hospital, we we lucky that the management let us stay in the same room. However, there were some things that definitely need attention. The kitchen tap was practically falling off the spigot and needed 2 hands to operate it. There was hardly any shower gel in the room and the shampoo, shower gel etc weren't attached to the wall in an accessible place, rather on the floor. There were only 2 wine glasses, and in a family room, there were only 3 chairs. The room was not seviced during a 8 day stay, except for the towels being replaced only when we asked. We have stayed here often when visiting family here, but may rethink staying here again.

- Alexandra (6/5): - The room was very very old and shower was not clean. Bed uncomfortable. For a community based hotel I would have liked to see more friendly staff and a lift to go to my room. Check-in and checkout was however good and the location was positive.
- Chloe (2/5): - The place was run down and dirty. The shower looked uncleaned. The fridge was grotty and the walls sold the beds were stained. The whole place smelled of cigarettes. We couldn't deal and left within half an hour of arriving. Not worth the admittedly cheap price. They wouldn't give any money back either. Not worth it.
- Christine (2/5): - There are only two good things about this properly: 1. The tram stop that is close by. 2. The comfortable beds. The property itself is so run down you wouldn't believe something like this exists on Australia. The bathroom is filthy- there were spots on the ceiling, no ventilation fan so it fogs up badly after even the shortest shower. We couldn't turn on the reverse-cycle air-conditioner because it rattled so badly & even after complaining, it wasn't fixed. False advertising- there are no cable channels. In fact, we couldn't even turn on the TV on the 1st night. After complaining the next morning, we returned to a turned on TV which we couldn't turn off with the remote. It had to be turned off at the source. Coffee/ tea making facilities? Well, if you dared use the dirty looking kettle. Lee/Leigh who was at reception the night we arrived was pleasant but the lady at reception the next morning was extremely rude and unhelpful.

I experienced an issue with the bed, as the doona had an unpleasant smell that made it difficult to sleep on the first night. Although the staff replaced the bedding and the smell improved, it was still noticeable. On the positive side, the parking was very convenient and the location was great.
- Khalid (2/5): Won't be staying there again - Aparthotel looks nothing like the pictures. It's more of a halfway house feel, not very pleasant. Room wasn't cleaned properly, with cobwebs everywhere and the smoke alarm was covered up. The only good thing about the stay was the location close to the high street and close to the tram stop.

Ceiling was filthy. Bathroom door had been kicked in. Sheets were clean but matress, pillows and dooner were stained and discoloured. Photos on the internet are totally misleading and I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone!

The room itself had dirty carpets, stained furniture and the only blanket smelt of mould. The television is too small for the room and hard to view.

I couldn't stay overnight I ended up leaving with no refund but honestly didn’t mind I had to just get out of there. I don't know if I was unlucky & there are better rooms but it was the most un hygeinic hotel I've ever been to. The only positive was free parking & the reception guy was great & funny guy.

- Kim (6/5): - The hotel was in a great spot for me to walk to work. The bathroom shower tiles had mould and soap scum all around the lower tiles. My keycard didnt work the first night I came back, it was 11pm and I couldnt get in. Another hotel guest happened to go by and let me in otherwise I do not know what wouldve happened. The television only had two working stations. The remote didnt work so changed channels by the buttons on the tv. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were not. Tissues were stuffed down into the toilet roll holder. I probably would not stay here again.

The only upside to this was that the heater worked and we didn’t freeze all night. The parking was good also, everything else I only have negative things to say.
- Francis (6/5): - In all honesty this is not a 4 star place to stay and the photos are of somewhere that is not the Beaumont. Don't pay this amount and expect to stay somewhere that looks like this. It's just not going to happen. The suburb of Kew is a nice place to stay, lots of places nearby to eat out. Public transport is readily available and the CBD is about 30 minutes away by bus or tram. The room really doesn't meet expectations after booking based on the photos. Definitely not 4 star

- Alycia (8/5): - Beaumont Kew Apartments was a great overnight option for a simple family stay. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom as beautiful. Staff were lovely. The only thing left to be desired was a cleaner room but understandably due to being an older building it is harder to maintain, but a bit more effort could have been taken to thoroughly vacuum or clean the windows. Fly wire on the windows, or the option to lock them, would have provided some additional comfort as a family with younger kids.

- Keith (10/5): Convenient, great value and spacious - Spacious well-equipped room for the week in Melbourne. Easy check-in and as a former Quest Apartments building it’s well laid out, secure with parking on site. Close to transport and shops too.
- Monica (2/5): - Very unclean. Disappointing. Would not recommend this property. Stayed two years ago but it has declined since then. The list of things wrong with the rooms and common areas is too long to describe.
- Karen (6/5): - This property was managed by different companies so building access was confusing as there were different instructions for different companies depending on who you're booked with. Our room at the Beaumont was dated and not overly clean. We had to move some of the furniture aside to retrieve something only to find rubbish from previous stays that hadn't been cleared. The kitchenette was basic with old hot plate and fridge which didn't look like they were cleaned routinely. In fact the main photo that came up in Expedia showing the modern kitchen was nothing like what we had in our room. Now looking back at the photos, they really did not truly represent the condition of the rooms or at least not ours. The bathroom was renovated so that was the best part of our room.

Overall it was in a good area with plenty of cafes around. Not sure I’d stay here again but it’s cheap and you get what you pay for I guess.

The room was dirty and the shower flooded sending water into the living area. Someone got robbed overnight and people were very loud and wasn’t a very nice stay. But the front desk person made the stay a little more welcoming so thank you to him!

So no TV for entire stay.The carpet was filthy, dead bugs all over the bathroom roof, thin bed linen that had stains, pillow cases weren't even put on properly, could see blood stain on one pillow, door swipe card was temperamental and wasn't easy to use, an old, faded and dirty corner lounge thing in the room looked like it was from roadside trash, bed bases not concealed and had bits hanging, bedside table was dirty. Upon wiping it down, the cloth was brown. Walls were dirty. Worst room that we have ever stayed in and we travel a lot. Unfortunately we booked for 3 nights, so sucked it up but never again. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper provided, no tissues in room either. Hallway lights weren't working at all on the last night, so very dark getting back to your room. The hallway was dirty on arrival and same when left, 3 nights later. Didn't get vacuumed during our stay. Windows were also filthy. Just yuck.
- Marnee (6/5): - I didn't have high expectations from the reviews but I needed somewhere affordable to stay for a friends wedding. The rooms are quite outdated but the bathrooms are lovely. I checked the room over when I got there and it seemed to be quite clean. The location of the power points behind the bed revealed that the room had not been deep cleaned in some time. Layers of dust were behind the bed and when I opened the blinds, it was like the windowsill had never been cleaned before. When I went to bed, I went to lock the door but the lock was broken. I had to use a side table to baracade myself in. When I woke in the morning, I was DISGUSTED by the condition of the doona. It was covered in stains and yellow. As I had checked in past 6pm on my first night, I was given a code for the front door and my room and was told to see reception the next day for my card, which I did. After attending a wedding, I arrived at the hotel at midnight and could not get into my room. I had to call after hours reception and the man that came to assist me very helpful. He had to go back and forth from my room and reception to figure out the issue and discovered they'd put the wrong room number on my card. I finally got into the room at 12:30am. While this stay is affordable, the rooms need some serious cleaning, attention and updates.
- amy (2/5): Dirty and unsafe - To start with we booked the family room, where we arrived they had 2 seperate rooms as they and no family rooms available, one room on the first floor, the deadlock didn’t work, the window didn’t lock leaving us feeling unsafe. The room itself was dirty, with dried vomit on the floor, broken glass shards on the floor and holes in the wall. Definitely avoid.

- Jenny (6/5): - Shops were very near and a good pub on the corner. Kitchen could of used with more equipment. There was only 1 small coffee cup and 1 wine glass. No sharp knife, peelers or graters Bathroom has been done up and had a lovely big shower.
- Ferdinand (8/5): - It was close to public transport tram stop, bus stop that can take u to Melbounre city at Kew Woolworths , Coles , Mc Donald’s KFC and all local restaurants were very close by Good parking space The admin staff - Lee was kind and supportive
- Shaun (8/5): - Overall nice place to stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious but could do with a few small improvements.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Apartments - Very good apartment in a good location for men as close to my friends. Staff very friendly and helpful.
- YI-LIN (10/5): - Plenty of parking spaces. Walkable distance to woolies and restaurants. The reception guy was very friendly and helpful.
- Gary (2/5): - Room appeared fairly clean however BUGS found in between the sheets and on inspection the mattress was filthy all over, stains, blood & looked like large dry pieces of something all over the mattress , offered 2 other rooms and when sheets checked both had small bugs although not adults line I have on video . We checked out immediately , further 2 days refunded although we still paid for the 1st day ( unaware) and the complaint day as after 2 pm ... not happy.

- Richa (8/5): - What we like is the Bathroom it's nice and the bed is comfy enough to sleep in. A bit needs to be fixed here and there. Overall we enjoyed our stayed
- Jonathan (2/5): - I made a booking and arrived shortly after midnight to check in after i was attending a concert. The building was locked, nobody was in the reception building, and i called every after-hours number displayed on the entrance but nobody responded. We had to drive to a mate's house to stay for the night, and I'm trying to get a refund for the booking since we never actually got to stay at the motel
- Yvette (6/5): - Check in was friendly. Room was clean but in need of repairs. Tiles in kitchen area, mould on grout on bathroom tiles. My husband fixed the loose toilet seat. Minor repairs could enhance overall appearance and a higher charge rate for the room. Ok for one night.
