• Anonymous (1/5): Do not waste your money at this Motel! Cu - Being with my family and proximity to the Ocean is what made this Motel appealing. Salinas is a beautiful town, lots to see. The customer service at this hotel was horrible! There was no one at the desk tending it's customer's. The so called employee who calls herself manager was asleep at 11 am for check out. I had to ring the bell more than once to get someone to help me.I called more than once to ask some questions and they would pick up the phone and hang it up. Lastly, they didn't return all my deposit because there was fingerprints on the TV.

• Martinez (1/5): Bad - Nothing . It is a drug infested homeless shelter I am extremely pissed off and irritated about this booking. I arrived at this hotel at 2:00 p.m. after driving 8 hours from Las Vegas and I couldn't even get a room. they did not have my information of a credit card I sat at this place until 3:50 p.m. I was on the phone with four of your guys's different customer service people who kept disconnecting me. I will never ever in my entire life use your service again and I will tell everybody I know on social media all of my platforms never to use your service again. the picture that is listed in the listing doesn't even match the room that I have here. I'm staying here for 4 days and there's no mini fridge and no microwave like it shows in the picture. I am disgusted with your guys's practices on trying to have a satisfied customer. if it was up to me I want a total refund this is ridiculous this is embarrassing and tiresome I have anxiety attacks and panic attacks that I'm a medication for you guys had me yelling at the manager yelling at your guys's operators and all your operators could do is hang up

• Mark (7/5): "Be(a)st 5 Motel: Low Rates"; No Amenities. - I only stayed 1 night, per my original plans; they granted my advance request thru Booking.com for room on 2nd floor. I never used my laptop (only my M. phone on the network), so I didn't bother trying the WiFi, if they had any. Rates are low as advertised; this is brown-bag, no-frills lodging; almost anything can be put up with for a night. Used earplugs to sleep well due to room / Motel next to Hwy. 101; bed firm but comfy, sheets, towels, & shower stall clean; but bring your own fave shampoo, conditioner, lotion, & food/drink to eat in. No mini-fridge, microwave oven, or coffeemaker. Fan in bathroom exhausts damp air with light on. Used AC unit on fan-alone mode only, to circulate & freshen air about room; kept window locked shut & curtains drawn for privacy & noise/light reduction, which worked well for helping sleep.

• Charles (2/5): NIGHTMARE INN SALINAS! - -I was thankful to have a roof over my head and the 7-Eleven across the street for snacks and coffee. Numerous field workers lease out pretty much 75% of this motel and enjoy their Latin music and cervezas loudly along with obvious sex solicitation [ I was approached ] Oh and bed broken with soiled sheets along with a very grumpy owner! 👎🏻

• Cheri (2/5): Did not feel safe due to no lights on building, hallways, and stairwells & men hanging around. - Location was good. Our room was clean. There was NO exterior lighting on the building, hallways, and stairwells at night. Young men were hanging around the stairwells all day and night. We had to ask them to move in order to get to our room. We are a senior couple and didn't feel safe leaving our room after dark due to no lights and young men hanging around everywhere. A lot of trash around property.

• Anna (1/5): Horrible - Towels in the bathroom looked 50years old. Not the cleanest place. No wifi in the rooms. Only outside if you are close enough to the check in area and then it stills doesnt work properly. The walls are made of paper. We thought the person in the room above us was going to fall through the ceiling. So much noise and with the thin walls you hear everything. Room didnt had a microwave or fridge. It isnt mentioned in the prescription either but it does show on the photos so its a bid misleading.
• Paul (5/5): This is exactly what you would expect for a low cost motel next to the freeway. - Guests are mainly farm workers and they are very courteous. The music they were playing in the next room was turned off at bed time and they were quiet when waiting for the van at 4:30 AM. A coffee machine in the lobby would be great.
• Paul (1/5): Would never go back would sooner sleep in car - Everything! Asked for ice bucket it had cockroach droppings. No cups in room could not access ac or heat as they were buried by other bed in room . Bar soap size of a nickel place was a poor joke!

• Victoria (1/5): Horrible would never recommend rooms are filthy service is horrible! - StAff was very rude & rooms are very unsafe my door locked me in and I couldn’t get out my room for over 30 minutes & when called staff on the phone for help they said they’d come help never did I had to hop thru my window to go get help opening the door by the staff and then they laughed when I asked for a different room!!

Neighbors were too loud No matter if you were upstairs or downstairs.

• Marife (4/5): a little disappointing. - it was actually fairly quiet given that this is next to a freeway. it is really dated and everything was worn out. I would have expected this to be cheaper than it was. the pool was not really clean so couldn’t really use it. also, the property had charged me again even though I paid through the app already and said that they don’t take online payments. also, she saw that there was 2 of us but only gave us one key card. I had to ask for second key and was begrudgingly given one.
• Aaron (1/5): THE WORST STAY EVER - nothing Well, when I arrived there was a lady at the desk that told me the person would be back in 20 min. 47min later, she returned to tell me she is going to charge my card again because they don’t except online payments. There were roaches in the room, the tv didn’t work and my neighbors were arguing all night. bad side of town, no views. Then at 6 I ran across the street to 7-11, came back and my key didn’t work. To no surprise nobody was at the desk. 26 mins later the lady stumbled to the desk, super rude. Thankfully she made the key correctly because it was literally 36 degrees. When I asked her about the email they you sent, she didn’t respond, she didn’t even care. I am so ANGRY
