Despite being in one of the busiest parts of Kraków, we found the hotel quiet and relaxing and didn’t hear any outside noise as Krakow can get very busy at the weekend. As we have found before this can be a bit irritating. The hotel staff are excellent, very attentive and with great English which is really helpful when your Polish is not very good! The breakfast is superb and the meals we had in the restaurant very good value and equally superb.

- Simmons (10/5): Cozy comfort amid city center - Good location..next to Florian Gate, Ring Road, 5 minute walk to Market Square and 10 minute walk to Krakow train station. Many trams and buses within a few minutes’ walk. Numerous shops and restaurants nearby. Be aware of Kantors…money changers on Florianska Street. Rates and honesty seem to vary. Hotel breakfast is very adequate. Property is exceptionally clean. It’s a well maintained old line hotel with a cozy atmosphere. All was good for a week’s stay. Can offer no suggestions for improvement.

Bez problemu mogłam wejść do pokoju po przyjeździe, a potem zostawić bagaż w przechowalni po wymeldowaniu. Śniadania były kolorowe i przepyszne. Aroganckie zachowanie niektórych z personelu sprzątającego. Jedna z pań blokowała windę, a gdy już ta winda była na piętrze, próbowała odjechać mi sprzed nosa. Gdy zatrzymałam zamykające się drzwi, ta osoba nawet nie przeprosiła.

Above all else it has a wonderful atmosphere that just wraps itself around you. When we visit Krakow again we will be sure to stay there again.

The location was excellent, only a five minute walk to the main square, and the receptionist was particularly helpful. The room was a little dated but comfortable and quiet.

Le petit déjeuner est très varié, le personnel à la réception et au restaurant est très accueillant et gentil. L’hôtel se trouve à proximité des curiosités principales. L’eau minérale avec l’étiquette bleue est gazeuse et celle avec l’étiquette verte n’est pas plate comme c’est écrit mais légèrement gazeuse! C’est juste pour l’information si quelqu’un a vraiment envie d’eau plate.

- John (9/5): Lots of different things to see in compact walkable city, but with plenty of opportunities to relax - Great location, 5 minutes walk from main square and by old city wall leading on to Planty Park that almost full encircles the historic old city. Hotel was clean and all staff were welcoming and friendly. We had a great dual aspect room overlooking the wall and Florianska street. There was sometime noise from late night revellers walking down the street - soundproofing of the windows was not quite as good as some other places we have stayed. But not really a problem.
