- Jordan (2/5): Trash - I didn’t get to stay because they said they didn’t have my reservation even though I showed them my confirmation email from hotels.com and we had to pay almost triple at another hotel at midnight already 3 hrs from home. And they have yet to refund me my money from this incident on Thursday the 15 of May and today is Wednesday is the 21st. After I already had this room reserved since November. So no I did not get to even stay to decide whether I liked the hotel or not.

- paul (6/5): - had a horrible experience and bizarre conversation with Expedia. We booked a hotel the super inn by Oyo at Daytona Beach for two nights . To recover on our flight to Orlando from Gatwick as part way to Savannah in Georgia. Up at 4:30am and arrived at Daytona beach midnightish about 6:30am UK time only to be told our booking has been cancelled. Expedia shows as open and still shows today as ongoing. Expedia absolutely unhelpful,they just said we would get a refund. We hadn't paid for it. The reason for the cancelation the price was too low. I had no reply to my suggestion that it was the price Expedia had asked for Luckily we were able to get the last room and pay directly to the hotel so we had a room. The hotel manager was a top man and helped us so much liaising with head office. Next day another unfortunate Expedia customer but no rooms. It seems to me a very non customer friendly modus operandi for a company. I shall not be using Expedia again. The property's leisure area was closed so basically we were stuck to the room and taking a chair to the pathway.

Took us time to locate that we even had WiFi it was written on a small sign on the window of what used to be the office. Overall it was good but wished the blankets were actually blankets and we could get soap and more towels

- Stuart (2/5): SCAM! - I'm pretty sure I got scammed. This booking showed up with decent reviews and was much cheaper than a number of other hotels of the same quality, so I booked them. Then a week before I was supposed to stay they give me a vague reason of why they could no longer accomodate me. They said they would give me a refund within 7-10 days, but that has passed and I still have not gotten my money back.
- Raymond (4/5): Poor stay - There is no lobby. They make you check in through the night time window. The lady who checked me in was polite as a porcupine cornered. Then I was severely told to keep the room clean. There was no housekeeping during my stay. The morning I left the only trash receptacle outside was overflowing so I took my trash home. There was only sheets and comforter on the beds. It was cold so I had to take the comforter off the other bed to be warm. The bathroom had liquid soap but it was so watered down.

They sold me a room, sent me the confirmations, and then just a couple of days before the Daytona 500, you write to tell me that I don’t have a room after all! Try getting a rum for less than $300 per night in Daytona on race weekend! Terrible service and I have removed Expedia from my options for rooms. You left me high and dry!!! Terrible terrible service!!!

There was a very sweet lady that works there that we spoke to and she tried to be helpful but it's impossible for her to keep up with the whole property. The tv remote didn't work the nice lady came and fixed it but then it stopped working again but we didn't want to keep calling her. Th3 rooms have no telephone just the phone number of the location so when you call she answers. The location is not as close to Daytona Speedway as advertised and overall the property is in disrepair.

- Jordan (2/5): - This establishment was horrendous. Best to avoid. Check-in was a dehumanizing process behind a glass screen, passing slips of paper through an awkward pinhole, exposed to the elements. Guests are not allowed into the lobby, which should have been my first clue that this establishment is quite scornful of and unwelcoming to its guests. The room was not the cleanest when we arrived, but we felt we could live with it for the night. We discovered grass spurs in the bath towels. Later, we were awoken at 3 AM that night with at least four insects crawling all over us in the bed. These were not the kind of insects that one would want visiting their rest, and they left my partner with large, itchy bites. We documented our uninvited guests and their bites to show the staff. When we brought our uncomfortable night to the attention of the staff at check out, seeking some kind of compensation or contrition, we were humiliated by their response. They made us feel mocked and abused by actually laughing at us. I could not recommend this establishment any less.

The owner was rude and didn't want to give me access to the room that still had most of my belongings inside including my wallet and phone. The room was clean, definitely did not have bed bugs as other have stated and I checked good. Room was cleaned everyday, Sally was great. Nothing turned up missing - as others have stated. Air was cold for the heat we went through. Bed wasn’t comfortable but I also have a pillow top mattress that I’m used to soo. Desk was friendly.

- Christopher (8/5): - This is a very clean, attractive motel in South Daytona. Fresh paint outside makes it an attractive property. Room was very clean. Only complaints were that there was a leak in the bathroom faucet around the fixture and the shower head put out a very strong flow. Also, lobby appears to be constantly locked, probably due to this being a somewhat high crime area. Had to check in with clerk at 3:00pm through glass window.
