• Bao Ngan Thi (1/5): Terrifying! Avoid! - Unsafe and filthy property. Doesn’t speak English. Door had no lock and couldn’t be closed. Taps were leaking and bed sheets was dirty and had stray hairs. My family and friends came from Australia for my wedding and checked into this place and was appalled. They all had to book elsewhere and lost hundreds of dollars each because the hotel and booking could not help. We will be filing a chargeback with our bank. Unsafe and filthy property. Doesn’t speak English. Door had no lock and couldn’t be closed. Taps were leaking and bed sheets was dirty and had stray hairs. • David (8/5): - This place is clean, has a good lock on the door, is close to the Mong Kok MTR station and the bed is thin but comfortable. The biggest issue is that the shower and toilet are usable with difficulty due to plumbing issues. I just used toilets at restos/malls. I had a room with windows so it got noisy. For the price, I feel like I got my money's worth. I would recommend this place if you need a quick stay. I would also recommend washing yourself with soap and a wet cloth instead of using the shower.

• Hiroto (6/5): - 典型的な香港のビル内ワンフロアの小ホテルです。旺角駅近で極めて便利なところにあります。 ビルの５階ですが、奇数階行きのエレベーターは壊れており、６階まで行ってから物が多数放置してある階段を降りて５階に行きました。 到着すると無人で、呼び鈴を押してしばらく困っているとスタッフがやってきました。 WeChatかWhatsAppで連絡してくださいと連絡先は書いてあるので、どちらかのアプリが使えると早いと思います。 シャワーがトイレの真上にある香港スタイルは普通ですが照明が切れていたり、シーツにタバコの焼け跡があったりであまり落ち着きませんでした。 Wi-Fiは最初は快適に繋がりましたが、夜中から朝にかけては不調になりました。 スタッフは言葉が通じなくても翻訳アプリを活用するなどやりとりに積極的で親切でした。 価格を考えると妥当ですが、慣れていないと驚くと思います。

• Verified traveler (2/5): 史上最悪 - 立地はとてもいい。 4泊しましたが清掃はなく、鍵ももらえないので受付の人に毎回開けてもらいました。 ゴミも廊下に出して捨ててもらおうとしましたが、してくれない日もありました。 タオルも交換がないのでお願いしたら、外に干してあるものの中から渡されました。少し湿っていました。。 ゴキブリも4匹以上現れ、かなりキツかったです。肌も痒みが… 本当に気にしない方向けだと思います。

• Marko (3/5): Do not book this place if you intend to spend any second there apart from sleeping! - They did their best trying to be as clean as possible, everyday they came to the room to do basic cleaning. Location was also good and those are only two things that are good about this place. The building is full of rats, bugs, etc. The lady on the reception did not speak a single word of English, I had to call some phone number that was listed there. Also, when I tried to check out on the last day there were no one there at 9am, so since I had to leave I just left the key in the room and closed the door. I sincerely think places like this should be removed from Booking.com since conditions in those stays are incredibly bad! Price is sky-high for a place without a window!

• MING-CHE (8/5): 小巧方便的住宿選擇 - 飯店看起來是舊的，但是入住房間裡面頗為乾淨且沒有異味；備品有提供牙刷、浴巾(略薄)，另有提供二合一洗劑，使用電熱水器也夠熱(這次三人輪流使用)，插座提供不少很方便，另有提供一組英式轉接頭；電熱壺記得看一下裡面是否乾淨；旁邊就是女人街非常方便，旅行袋、充電(線)頭、衣服、毛巾、藥品....想的到的都有賣；到飯店搭N21A的No7. 銀行中心下車)，回程就去對面搭；房間略小30吋行李箱可能無法地上攤平，但整體來說高C/P值，頗為推薦

• Hazel (8/5): Run down hotel, friendly staff, fantastic location - Arrived at around 2.30am in the morning. There was no signage to indicate where the reception was except for a picture of a hand pointing to the right of the 5th Floor. We found out by luck where it was. The door to the reception desk was closed, so we panicked and thought we had to sleep out in the street. Fortunately, the door was not locked and we managed to get in. Hong Kong is a cosmopolitan country, there should at least be some English signages to point to the reception area and door should not be closed.

• YOSHINORI (6/5): 深夜の仮眠に - 少なくとも快適とは言えません。深夜チェックイン可能なところと、立地が便利なところで何度か使っています。ただし、何泊も滞在するのは難しいでしょう。深夜に到着してとりあえずその日の睡眠を安くすますのに向いていると言えるだどだと思います。お湯もあまりでませんし、渡されるバスタオルもお世辞にも清潔と言えません。

• Gerald r (4/5): You can do better. - Hong Kong can be pricey for hotels. I would spend more money and avoid this place. I will say that the room itself was very clean. No one spoke a work of English, which can be a big deal in HK. The room was clean, but everything around it (hallways, etc.) were full of junk. The elevator didn't work for all four days and I don't think it's worked for years. Spend a bit more and have a better experience.

• カメラ小僧 (8/5): よかったです - 男一人、一週間宿泊させていただきました。 日本語は通じませんが、丁寧に対応していただけました。おばちゃんはとっても明るくてよかったです(笑) 部屋は綺麗に掃除されており、虫が出ることはなかったです。エアコンも問題なく、Wi-Fiも自分の部屋でしっかりと繋がりました。 シャワー、トイレは同じ場所ですので、シャワーを浴びる前に用は済ませておくのをおすすめします。お湯は時間帯によっては出にくいのか？お湯だったり水だったりしました。 バスタオルは貸してもらえたので、自前の物を使わずに済みました。 旺角駅まで徒歩数分で行けるのでとっても便利です。飲食店、コンビニも近くに何件もあるので食事に困ることもなかったです。 男目線ですと、香港141も数ヶ所あり、比較的規模の大きい建興大廈がすぐ近くにあるのでそういった目的の方にもいいかも？ 気になったことといえば壁が薄いことでしょうか。外の音がよく聞こえるので、うるさいと眠れない！というかたには合わないかもしれないです。自分は問題なかったですが 。 チョンキンのゲストハウスよりは少し高いですが、怪しいインド人とかはいないですし、エレベーター前には警備員の方もいますので狭いのが平気であれば女性でも大丈夫かとおもいます。

• T1 (6/5): - 一分錢 一分貨。地點在鬧區，不要期待安靜。離地鐵很近。附近到處都是吃飯和逛街的地方。房間，洗手間都算乾淨。淋浴就是手持蓮蓬頭，站在很小的洗手間馬桶蓋上或其它任何地方沖水就是了。冷氣機非常吵，不過反正在鬧區房間本來就很吵，最好自備耳塞。床墊和被子有人的味道。房間倒是沒有霉味或其他任何味道。wifi 整個旅館大概只夠一個人用。

• ｋ (6/5): 値段が安い。繁華街に近い - 深夜12時を過ぎてのチェックインでしたが、親切に対応してもらいました。香港は5回目で、宿泊はすべてこのタイプのホテルです。値段を考えれば、部屋の狭さ、シャワー設備等は十分です。壁が全面タイルでなく、一部木目が落ち着いた。冷蔵庫がなかったのが残念でした。
• Verified traveler (4/5): 비 추천 합니다. - 교통과 쇼핑하기에는 위치가 정말 좋습니다. 그러나 룸에 대해서는 기대를 하지 않는게 좋아요. 오래된 건물과 실내 관리를 잘 하지 않아서 곰팡이와 얼룩이 많았으며, 엄지 손가락만한 바퀴벌레가 룸에 돌아다녀 잡느라 힘들었습니다. 호텔 주인분은 친절 하시지만 영어를 전혀 못하시고 중국어로만 대화 가능합니다. 또한 룸에 있을때 누군가 저희방에 열쇠를 꽂고 열려고 하더군요..너무 무섭고 놀라 재대로 잠을 잘수가 없었습니다. 이곳을 보신다면 다른 호텔을 찾아 보시길 권장 합니다.

If you don't mind roaches then by all means stay here because the location is great. Personally though I prefer cleanliness over frugality.
• Verified traveler (2/5): There are thieves in the hotel, ที่นี่มีขโมย - **ขอเตือนคนไทย อย่าพักที่นี่** มี ขโมย เข้ามายกเป้ เราไป ทั้งใบ วันแรกที่เข้าเช็คอิน เลย เราถึงที่โรงแรม ประมาณ 17.50 น. เก็บของที่ ห้องพัก แล้ว ออกไปทำธุระด้านนอก ช่วงเวลาระหว่าง 18.50 น. เมื่อกลับมาถึงที่พัก 24.00 น. ก็พบว่า ประตูห้องพัก ปิดไม่สนิท ซึ่งเข้าใจว่า แม่บ้านของที่พักแห่งนี้ คงเข้ามาเช็คเรื่องปิดแอร์ และ เครื่องทำน้ำอุ่น เนื่องจาก เคยมาพักแล้ว 1 ครั้ง เมื่อ เกือบ 1 เดือนที่ผ่านมา และ เคยเจอกับเหตุการณ์แบบนี้ ก็เลยไม่ได้เอะใจอะไร แต่ครั้งนี้ พบว่า กระเป๋าเป้สะพายหลัง ได้หายไปจาก ห้อง อย่างไร้ร่องรอย ลูกบิดประตูอยู่ในสภาพปกติ ไม่ได้ถูกงัดแงะ สภาพภายในห้อง ไม่ได้ถูกรื้อค้น เรา ได้ไปแจ้ง พนักงานของโรงแรม เพื่อขอความช่วยเหลือ ขอดูกล้องวงจรปิด พนักงานเป็นชายสูงอายุ บอกว่า กล้องวงจรปิด ใช้งานไม่ได้ แล้วก็โวยวาย โทษว่า ทางเรา ลืมล็อคห้อง ซึ่ง ที่พักแห่งนี้ทั้งชั้น เงียบสงบ ไม่มีคนพลุกพล่าน และ จะเข้าห้องพักแต่ละห้องได้ได้ ต้องไขผ่านประตูถึง 2 ชั้น เรา จึงตัดสินใจโทรแจ้งตำรวจ ให้มาดูที่เกิดเหตุ และ เดินทางไปลงบันทึกประจำวัน ที่ สถานีตำรวจ มงก๊ก เพราะ ในเป้ มีเงินสดไทย และ ของใช้ส่วนตัวทุกอย่าง แว่นกันแดด power Bank ที่ชาร์จแบตโทรศัพท์ ถูกขโมยเอาไปหมดเลย พบว่า ใบอนุญาตเกสต์เฮาส์แห่งนี้ หมดอายุแล้ว Please don't stay at this hotel. There are thieves that stole my back pack on a very first night I checked in. There is cctv but it's not working, police couldn't help much. So do not choose to stay at this hotel. Your life will be in danger. This Guesthouse License is already expired.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Recommended place to stay at! - Perfect place to stay at. The staff were all accommodating and the wifi was fast. It's near the MTR and bus stops plus the night market is just a short walk away. Will definitely stay here again.

• Kul (6/5): ตั้งอยู่ใจกลางตลาด มงก๊ก ใกล้สถานี mtr ป้ายรถเมล์ - ทางเข้าตึก กว้างขวาง อยู่ติดถนนย่อย Shan Tung Street ทางเข้าตึก หาง่าย ลิฟต์มี 2 ตัว แยกชั้น คี่ คู่ ทางเดินสะอาด ห้องพักสะอาด ห้องน้ำสะอาดเกินกว่า มาตรฐานทั่วไป ของ เกสต์เฮาส์ ใน เกาลูน ตัวตึก เปิดด้านนึง เป็นระเบียงตลอดความยาว ถ่ายเทอากาศได้ดี มีแสงแดดส่องถึง ซักผ้าตากได้ แต่ ผ้าเช็ดตัวที่มีให้ ไม่ค่อยสะอาด ต้องขอเปลี่ยน พัก 5 คืน ไม่เปลี่ยนผ้าปูที่นอนให้เลย พนักงานพูดได้แต่ภาษาจีน จะมีเบอร์โทรแจ้งไว้ในห้อง หากต้องการคนพูดภาษาอังกฤษ สามารถติดต่อได้ ช่วยเหลือ ประสานงานให้จริง โดยรวม ทำเลที่ตั้งถือว่าดีมากๆ มีความปลอดภัยสูงมากๆ ทางเข้าตึก มี พนักงานนั่งหน้าลิฟต์ 24 ชั่วโมง ทางเกสต์เฮาส์ มี พนักงาน 24 ชั่วโมง เช่นกัน ตอนเช็คเอาท์ ให้ทาง พนักงานที่ พูดภาษาอังกฤษได้ ช่วยเรียกรถตู้แบบเหมาให้ เค้าก็ช่วยจัดการให้ และ เรา ลืมเสื้อผ้าไว้ บอกว่า จะกลับไปอีกภายใน 3 อาทิตย์ เพราะ ไปทำงานเค้าก็รับปากว่า จะเก็บไว้ให้ ซึ่งก็จะต้องรอดูว่า ที่รับปากไว้ จะเก็บไว้ให้หรือปล่าว
• Verified traveler (6/5): 「寝るだけ」の人にはお勧めホテル - ホテルのコンディションはお値段相応です。でも場所が良いので、「寝るだけ」の場所をお探しの方にはお勧めできます。今回は窓有のシングルルームでしたが、小さな窓を開けても隣のビルの壁しか見えず、ほぼ『窓なし状態』でした。２畳ぐらいのお部屋にトイレ・シャワーがついており、「普通のおうちのトイレの中でシャワーを浴びる」といった感じ。（当然、便器も床も水浸し。）でも、レビューにあるほどタオルはボロボロではなかったし、TV・電気ポット・カップもあり、泊まるだけなら文句はありません。 行き方：空港A1バスの７番目の停留所（旺角）で降り、バスの進行方向に進み、恒生銀行のある１つ目の角を左に曲がり、１つ目の信号を渡り（渡ったところにジューススタンドがあります。）そのお隣の栄華大楼の５Fです。

• Gabor (10/5): Nice hotel, Clean and in the middle of MongKok - The Fortune hotel is absolutely in MongKok center. Just one minute from the subway and also one minute from many bus stops. The Airport only 50 minutes by bus which is the cheapest way. The staffs are very kind and helpful. My room was clean, i had clean towel everyday. The room was pretty small but this was completely usual here. I liked this hotel!
• Verified traveler (10/5): オーナーの人柄のあふれる清潔なホテル - 香港で急にホテルを取らなければならなくなり、評価がよかったここに宿泊。 みなさんが書いている通り、値段が普通な割に結構きれいです。 建物自体は香港によくある雑居マンションですが、私の泊まったダブルルームは どうも数年前にリフォーム（リノベーション？）されていると思われます。 正直なところばっちいという感じが全然なかったです。 受付はオーナーと思われる感じのよい老夫婦に対応していただきました。 英語があまり通じなかったので、リクエストがある方はgoogle翻訳などで 訳したものを示してあげるとよいでしょう。 あとは、ホテルのロケーションがいい割に私の部屋は結構静かでした。

• Lih-Chu (6/5): A budget hotel - It is located in a terriby busy area. The good side is you can shop nearby till the midnight. And, it is very conveninet to get to anywhere easily by bus or subway. The down side is the room is terribly basic and small. You can just take the shower beside the toilet. The bath room design is unbelivable basic. If you are tall or champby, you may need to consider other places. In general, the room is clean and quiet (although outside on the street is terribly noisy!). If what you want is just a place to sleep and use the WIFI to get your connections, this is a great choice in terms of the value. You can save the monney to shop what you want in Hong-Kong!
• Clara H. (6/5): The price is matched to what we have paid for. - Main purpose of the trip is visiting old buddies. Fortune Hotel has provided what we need ---- A place for rest during the end of each day. The service is fair and the workers are nice which no stress added.

• Danita (4/5): Fortune Hotel- Terrible experience - Hotel WiFi very slow. Room cleaning not good, didn't change bed sheet, and room is quite smelly. Room size is extremely small. We booked 3 people room with window, but after we got there, the staff said room with window full already. That just made my stay more terrible in a worse way.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Convenience to most public transport - Not too bad. It could be better in terms of spacing for someone my size. TV is limited to 4 channels. WiFi speed is decent. Didn't use the washing service as they will air dry by hanging it out nearby given the weather it wouldn't be useful.
• Bahgat (10/5): Cheap, safe, clean, and strategically placed hotel - I stayed in a single room for 8 nights. Pros: - Cheap - Located right in the middle of Mong Kok, the famous shopping district. - Excellent free WiFi - Clean and safe - Front desk open 24/7 Cons: - Very small room with a tiny bathroom, using the bathroom could be a big problem if you're a big person (especially obese). In fact, you simply won't fit in. - No windows in the room, so no "view". - Staff speaks only chinese, but they do understand the usual basic questions. So ask simple questions. - The location is hard to find. This room is mainly for someone who wants to spend most of the day outside and come back to sleep at night. There is no luxury, you get what you paid for. Overall, I completely enjoyed my stay there and I would definitely stay there again. You'll be a little shocked at the size of the room at first, but you'll quickly adapt and get used to it. The best thing about this place is its excellent location and surprisingly free, stable, and strong wifi. I would highly suggest this place if you're on a budget, or even if you're not. If you want a cheap, safe, clean, and strategically placed hotel to stay at, then pick this one.
• Ashley (6/5): Not what I expected but overall not too bad - 3 nights in Hong Kong, and the room was adequate and well located. My complaints no one spoke English as far as hotel staff, and it was very loud inside the room as in you could everything happening on the street below. Lastly I had a room that could supposedly sleep up to four people and with 2 we had just enough space, as in no extra but enough. So no way could 4 people share the space. Close to Mong kok station as in 5-10 min walk depending on which exit you come out of.

• lizzy (6/5): Grouchy bear - Location was great, clean, and wifi works great though i had an unpleasant experience with the man who was on duty at 7 am i decided to go to mc donalds to get a cup of coffee but i couldnt figure how to open the door, he was sleeping near the counter and woke up, got mad, he was extremely rude and started talking in chinese which i couldnt understand at all i guess he had to get up and open it up for me, but with such an attitude! Grouchy old bear! Where are those friendly staff they were talking with the other reviews :) but the lady that i talked on the phone was nice as i asked her what am i supposed to do when i checked out as i had to leave early the following day for an early flight ...no complaints about the hotel, tiny but comfortable and the sheets smells nice aside from that old rude grouchy bear i would loved to be back but im not gonna deal with such rudeness again! i guess on my opinion dont work in an hotel if you dont wanna be bothered when youre sleeping as more than likely guest would be coming in and out anytime...

• Verified traveler (6/5): EASY GOING AND LOCATED IN THE HEART OF MONGKOK - 1 night , arrived late noon , check in speaking mandarin because the fron desk can only speak basic english but very very kind person . It is good for short term stay and you don't need a place which is quite in the early evening .
• Verified traveler (10/5): Clean hotel,friendly staff,convenient location - Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, our flight arrived early and left late and availed their free luggage storage. Hotel was clean, towels were changed everyday. Cold AC. Good water heater, strong shower. No complains about that. They didn't have a refrigerator or microwave. Would have been more convenient but wasnt necessary for our trip. Plug Outlets are different so we had to buy adapters to charge our phones. Location was the best part, mrt station was few steps, bus stops next block, ladied market to the right of the hotel, McDonald's and Starbucks right outside and taxis everywhere if you needed. Most of the people were not tourist friendly, most of the time they dont know what your asking. But the staff (ladies) at this hotel were very friendly. Even if they didnt speak english, we still found ways to understand each other. Traveling with a 1 yr old, im glad we stayed at fortune hotel. They also have security cameras where needed.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Don't stay in Kowloon - It's much better to stay on the HK island side, more to see and do and slightly less crowded than the Kowloon side. Kowloon and Nathan Road are just a big (bad) shopping mecca, completely uninteresting. Hotel is located in a run-down building in a very busy area of downtown. The rooms are tiny but well kept and clean; the staff is kind and tries to help but doesn't speak english.
