• Mohamed (5/5): Calme mais manque cruellement d'équipements modernes - L'auberge est située dans un environnement paisible, ce qui est appréciable Cependant, l'expérience globale est décevante à cause du manque d'investissement. L'équipement est très ancien et peu fonctionnel : nous n'avions que deux prises pour une chambre de 6 personnes, et elles étaient situées loin des lits. L'absence de casiers sécurisés est également un problème majeur pour les voyageurs. Enfin, l'emplacement est assez excentré des zones touristiques ; sans voiture, les déplacements sont très compliqués. Un rafraîchissement global des infrastructures est indispensable.

Avevo prenotato una singola, ma non essendo diponibile mi hanno dato una camera molto più grande. Posteggio gratuito davanti all'ostello, il fatto che all'interno ci sia una tavola calda (molto buona ed economica) è sicuramente un valore aggiunto. Volendo trovare un difetto, sarebbe utile avere un attaccapanni per le giacche in camera e una scrivania. Ma proprio a cercare qualcosa che non va!

• Nick (5/5): Adequate - Room was adequate, at least it was somewhere to lay your head for the night and not too expensive. Staying in accommodation within San Marino also entitles you to discounts at various State attractions, but you'll have to ask the hostel for the 'pass' or else give the address of the hostel when buying tickets at State attractions to avail of discount. The staff were very friendly and relaxed, laid back, no problem with a late check-in etc which is fantastic when one's travel plans and timetable goes a bit awry. There's a nice kitchen and any spare food etc (packets of pasta, tinned food etc) left by other guests but within expiry date is left out up for grabs, which I think is a great initiative. The location is good, if you arrive by car or motorbike, as five minutes up the road brings you to the Funivia station and a fast way to get up and down to San Marino (bear in mind the Funivia may be cancelled if winds or weather is very bad). The shower in the room was essentially unusable. It didn't drain fast enough and simply left the bathroom door swamped in water. After the first attempt we waited until we left the Republic of San Marino to shower again. The lock on the room door feels a bit flimsy, I doubt it is very secure, though no doubt crime rates in San Marino are very low, we slept with one eye & ear open. The mattress on the bunk bed had some stains, not sure what they were - coffee? Something else? Anyways we found the mattress on another bunk was cleaner so used that bunk instead.

• ABDELFATTAH (1/5): - La stanza che mi è stata mostrata era molto sporca e in condizioni pessime. Per questo motivo ho deciso di non soggiornare nella struttura e cercare un altro hotel.
• Mattia (6/5): Soggiorno sufficiente - Il rapporto qualità-prezzo non è male, come anche la posizione, con la fermata dell'autobus proprio di fronte. Le camere sono spaziose ed i letti comodi. Anche la sala comune, con annessa cucina, era più che sufficiente. L'ingresso potrebbe essere curato meglio. Inoltre nella mia camera non c'era il bagno; poco male, ho usato quello comune (pulito e spazioso). Però c'è da considerare che l'ostello era semivuoto quando ci sono stato io; dovesse esserci molta gente sarebbe un problema condividerlo con tutti gli altri ospiti.

• Villamor (5/5): Hungry the whole night because we weren not inform before hand that there is no groceries to buy foo - Good because it is located along the highway. There is no restaurant open within or nearby. No self service machine where you can buy something to eat or drink. No heater in the bathroom and heating system in the room is not enough to keep it warm.

Their repairs must be reconsidered, and I did not find anyone to receive me when I arrived. Il fast food al primo piano è super comodo, le camere sono subito sopra al secondo. L'ostello si trova vicino al Borgo Maggiore da cui è possibile prendere la funivia per San Marino La struttura è molto luminosa e colorata ma necessiterebbe di rinnovamento

• RJ (8/5): Only and good budget accommodation with access to San Marino old town - Well located hostel just by Tavolucci bus stop, which meets Rimini shuttle. Very nice man running the place, does his best to answer any question. Ask him for directions to old town; there's a way up that'll keep you mostly off the dangerous roads, which lack any shoulder. Place has good kitchen, comfortable common area. Limited but enough hot water in showers. Very grateful for this budget option in San Marino, which can be pricey. Freezing cold at night in dorm. It was warm just outside in hallway, so I don't know what the secret is to getting that into the room. Also, would be nice, more efficient, to have male dorm and let the guys use the three-shower room, rather than letting women lock it for one. Make one of the en suites the female dorm. Odd to pay for linens; just add to price. No outlets in dorm, but understandable in old building.

Tiene un salón común muy bien equipado, una terraza y un restaurante de fast food en el piso de abajo. Además la decoración es muy entretenida y tiene mucho eastereggs. En las reseñas ponía que estaba mal señalizado como llegar a recepción, pero estaba bien señalizado todo. No hay muchos huéspedes, es algo malo o bueno. Huele un poco a kebab y el ascensor es un poco raro.

Les douches sont correctes mais très etroites, à l'aise seulement si on a la chance d'y être seule. Le prix de la nuit est beaucoup trop élevé pour le confort et la propreté. Le salon et la cuisine restent vivables seulement si l'auberge n'est pas très fréquentée. Rapport qualité prix pas interessant. Pour presque le même prix on a un hôtel à Rimini avec chambre particuliere

• Sinead (6/5): If I'd other choices I'd make them - It seems to be the only cheap accommodation in San Marino. It's near the bus stop. It has a restaurant and bar attached. It's clean. It's far away from old town and buses stop running at 7pm in off season. It's 50 mins walk back in the dark with no footpath and crazy drivers. Buses don't run often in general so it's a 25 min slog up to the cable car to get to the old town. The hostel has a weird vibe. Most people are not backpackers. It's mostly men and I wouldn't recommend it to solo female travellers.

Non un bagno e doccia per ogni camerata. Buona anche la pulizia delle lenzuola (almeno quello) Pessima struttura , piuttosto fatiscente e poco curata purtroppo. Letto a castello in posizione pericoloso (vicino a quadro elettrico) e senza barra di contenimento per il piano rialzato.

• Sven (4/5): - It is within walking distance from the cable car to San Marino. You have to pay extra to get bedsheets so Irecommendstayingin a decent hostel in Riminior and if you reallywant to go there you should bring your own sleeping bag. There also was a weird chemical smell in the room.

• Meghan (2/5): - On arrival the hostel looks run down, nothing like the photos, the parking area feels very unsafe. Then you have to walk through an abandoned night club to get to the lift. When I got to reception no one was there, rang the bell 3 times and waited nearly 30mins until the lady arrived to check me in. By this point I had been stood feeling very uncomfortable and decided to leave and not stay here. It did not feel safe at all. I've stayed in many hostels all over the world and never felt this uncomfortable. They also charge for linen which is not listed on expedia, or let people bring their own which is a breeding ground for bedbugs.... Once checking other sites for reviews I realised I had made a mistake. They also won't refund for any reason. Its clear the owner doesnt care about the presentation of the hostel, the atmosphere (zero atmosphere) or the customer service. Being the only hostel in San Marino people are left with limited choices. If solo travelling i wouldn't reccommend this hostel, if not alone then maybe it would be ok, but don't expect an atmosphere. If you have a car go elsewhere back to Italy, where you can get a hotel room for just a bit more, and a bit of a drive.
