The breakfast was minimal but sufficient. Nothing related to the hotel. Getting around in New Castle is a different matter.

• Lakeisha Salley & Shelo ST.Pierre (5/5): - I like the fact that it was pretty clean and comfortable to a certain extent Usually when we frequent this hotel it's pretty comfortable is pretty quiet and we usually enjoy our stay. But this particular last visit was horrible because we heard this noise like a generator all night long kept cutting on and off and it was very very loud. We told the staff about it when we were leaving and they said that it was because something was broken in the kitchen and I can't remember what it was but they told us that they were in the process of waiting on parts to get it fixed. It wasn't something that we needed our money back or anything like that because everything else was up to par. It wasn't something that was in their control if they were waiting on parts.

• Sandra (7/5): Gutes Hotel im 2010er Stil… - Das Hotel ist wie man es von einem kleinen amerikanischen Hotel erwartet… scheint aber in der Zeit etwas stehen geblieben. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und die Anlagen hat einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Einige Ecken waren abgelebt, der Fahrstuhl war komplett „eingerüstet“ als würde er sich im Umbau befinden. Beim Frühstück war alles sehr einfach gehalten und es gab lediglich Plaste-Besteck. Für Europäer mit kleinen Nachhaltigkeitsgedanken etwas verstörend.

The pool was closed until further notice which was not noted on the website and the primary reason I chose this hotel. Breakfast did not get served on time. I took my son at 6:30 am 9when it was supposed to already be served) and there was nothing but scraps. I asked the front desk if more food was coming out and was told no. When we came back down at 9:30 am the food was out and the dining area was full.

• James (5/5): Stay was fine. Room was clean when we arrived. Air conditioner did not work too well. - We stayed for 2 nights and our rooms were not cleaned either day. We were told that you must request to have your room cleaned. We were not told this until we came down to complain. Bad communication from the person who checked us in. I found I could not control the temperature. I kept turning the thermostat down and it kept reverting to 76! Breakfast was ok. Could have been more meat choices and the plastic utensils were useless.

Woke me up the first two nights so slept with it off later and had no further issues. Breakfast times were nicely spread out with an OK selection available. One of the reasons for choosing this hotel was the indoor pool. Unfortunately it was closed for maintenance during my entire one week stay, which was never mentioned when booking or before arrival. Also requested a room facing away from the highway for noise reasons. Received a reply that my request would be granted but still ended up with a room facing the highway. Needed to sign up for a loyalty programme to get WiFi access.
