The staff were absolutely amazing! So helpful and friendly and kind! The room was very comfortable and very clean! We would definitely come back to this hotel if we were to come to Hong Kong again.

The front desk staff is very friendly, attentive and informative about the area. Walking distance to food and pubs in SoHo and LKF as well as MTR to explore anywhere in Hong Kong. Would definitely stay again for business or leisure.

The hotel apartment is very beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and it really feels like a home away from home. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. A special thank you to Eddie, who kindly helped us arrange a car to the airport at the end of our stay. The lady at the reception was also very helpful and checked on us every day to make sure everything was okay. Honestly, all the staff were amazing and very professional. Their kindness and excellent service made our stay even better. I would definitely recommend The Putman and would happily stay here again when visiting Hong Kong.

Having the washer/dryer was excellent. We didn't use the kitchen facilities but it was well-equipped. The room was looked in on by other apartments across the road, but the sheer blinds helped alleviate any concerns. The doors between living/bedroom and bedroom/bathroom are glass, so keep in mind if travelling with a friend or expecting ability to shut off different rooms. Could use more hooks in the bathroom for hanging towels to dry.

• Chan (1/5): Not a comfortable stay at all for me completely not worth the price! - I liked the location, and did not expect it but the kitchen had utensils, stoves, microwave, pot/pan so you can actually cook with it. 1.The renovation feels very cheap, only look good in the photos, and please allow me to elaborate: - Sofa, TV stand...all furnitures etc looks on the cheaper end of IKEA (my sofa had a huge stain on it) - AC/ventilation/light control is that of a VERY OLD BUILDING, AC's loud, and there are 3+ control panels due to the rooms ridiculously stretched out and elongated layout so you do have to run back and forth to adjust them. - Blinds oh the blinds...no button to one press it up and down, and all blinds are controlled separately so do take some full minutes if you expect to raise everything fully up or down, AND many don't fit seamlessly into it's blind sockets on either side you will have to hand-fix multiple of them after you drop them down. - Two more small blind out of the washroom and living room (located at each of the far side of the space, fully mannual) - Cannot find slippers, phoned concierge and just say check the drawer...there're multiple of them located again across this very elongated layout...i gave up eventually. 2. The layout is extremely inconvenient and strange. - It feels like an elongated gym turned into a room with half enclosed walls separating the space into kitchen/living room, bedroom, and bathroom, allowing pathways on the sides. So you do not have an open view and you do have this feeling of sleeping in the center of a vast open area with blinds all around you that don't fully blackout. - No extra charging outlets near bed, washroom, or anywhere accessible in the kitchen!! They are all located at the bottom of the walls far far away from you.

The staff was extremely helpful and always kind as we often needed help as we had a small child. Would definitely recommend this place. Than you to Eddie, Raymond, Emily and the day manager (lady was very hospitable). Housekeeping were very helpful. Will definitely be back and highly Recommend this serviced apartment for families.

Zeta gave us a lovely welcome , we arrived at 8.00am and we were offered a shower coffee nothing was too much trouble . The night staff greeted us warmly too. Bonnie also offered her help .Next time we visit its the Putman .
• Explorer17174770412 (10/5): Best Stay in Hong Kong - The pillows and mattress are so soft! We booked the one room, one floor and it was definitely worth it. Everything was automated; the blinds, the lights, the ac, the sheer curtains. The washer dryer was also a very big help since we were traveling for 2 weeks. We love having a big space, so it was great! The concierge Eddie was also the nicest we’ve ever met! He was very helpful and very attentive to our needs. The are is also great. Walking distance to 2 stations and lots of places nearby to explore. If you want to experience nightlife in Hong Kong, always best to stay in Central area.
• xfest (10/5): What a gem - Love this hotel. I’ve stayed here probably a combined total of two months over the course of the past five years and always enjoy it. Im currently staying in the 26th floor partial harbor view room. The hotel is well located - right across from Sheung Wan station and walking distance from everything in Central and Midlevels. It’s very spacious, particularly compared to normal HK standards. The bedding is comfortable. Lastly and most importantly, the staff are truly incredible. The front desk are so lovely. The cleaning staff remember who you are and personalize their service. Whenever I’ve asked for anything (body lotion, more coffee capsules) it’s arrived very quickly. Today, when I requested “coffee capsules, please make sure it’s not decaf,” the staff sent more coffee immediately along with a handwritten note describing the intensity of each type of coffee. I’ve stayed in so many “luxury five star hotels” where the service couldn’t hold a candle to what I’ve experienced at the Putman on a consistent basis. The hotel isn’t perfect for everyone - the gym is a bit bleak if that is something important to you. There is a water filter instead of bottled water - I prefer this for sustainability reasons but it could be bothersome to some. It’s sort of annoying to drive to the hotel from Airport Express, especially during rush hour. And occasionally for certain rooms there have been issues with the AC or leaks from the bathtub. But the Putman consistently puts a smile on my face and I always look forward to a visit.

• OnAir141474 (10/5): Perfect Girls Trip with Putman - We spent 3 nights at the Putman and it was the best combination of comfort, quality, and hospitality. We booked a large one bedroom + extra bed for the 3 of us but was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom instead which allowed us added convenience. The rooms were modern, clean, with high quality bathroom amenities and the space was such a welcome luxury in Hong Kong where other hotels were much smaller in size and would have been a squeeze to fit a third adult in. There is only 1 suite per floor so that gave us added privacy! The 2 bedroom was well equipped with a small kitchen, laundry machine, and seating area making it ideal for families so I am sure to book it again when I visit with the family next time. But the best part of the experience was the staff - everyone was welcoming, helpful and made the effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible! I usually stay at luxury 5 star hotels with complete hotel amenities but I now realize that the large space and hospitality The Putman offers is really all we needed for a perfect getaway. Thank you!

I stayed in a two-bedroom suite, which was spacious, over 1200 square feet in a top full floor, and has good views of the harbor, and city. The price was excellent for the value provided. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would rate my experience five stars.

• Leon (4/5): If not for the location, I wouldn’t stay at Putman again. - The location is prime. Away from the bustle but walking distance to most many places. The room was not well maintained. Cupboards were misaligned, moulds & stains all over, TV channels were limited - worse still flicked all the time. Housekeeping only came at 5pm - twice in a row - it was annoying.

• RawkHawk (10/5): Nice hotel with massive suites and great staff - The Putman is near Sheung Wan station and is within walking distance of the mid-level escalators and Central. Whilst the reception area is quite small and there are no communal areas to speak of (except for access to a small lounge area at their sister hotel One96 a couple of doors down) all rooms are suites that run the entire length of the hotel, so you can treat it more like a serviced apartment than a hotel room. Our suite was incredibly large and included cooking and washing facilities which we used a few times on the trip. It was all nicely decorated, with some nice touches like electric privacy screens and full blinds across all of the windows and a smart TV so we could stream Netflix, YouTube, etc. The only issue was there are glass doorways/partitions throughout each of the rooms so light really carries especially if someone is watching TV, etc. in the living room/kitchen area whilst someone is trying to sleep in the bedroom. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing recommendations of places to go and things to do, etc and quite frankly really made our stay even better.

Excellent air conditioning. Staff were helpful and friendly. Cons: washer/dryer and ironing board were so well hidden that I couldn’t find them after searching for a good while.Also, didn’t see an outlet to use the blow dryer in bathroom until the last day of my stay ( it’s inside the cabinet with the blow dryer). The washer/dryer instructions were useless— and trying to figure it out was trial and error. More than once,the machine washed the clothes again instead of drying— and won’t unlock until cycle is done. Also, clothes never dried completely and I had to hang them up inside the room to finish drying. I think staff should be explicit about providing the above information/ better directions to guests.

• Justin (10/5): Great oasis in the middle of the city - Good stay with excellent restaurants surrounding the area. A minor gripe about some stained linens but they were swift to change it.
