Guest Reviews
- Veronica (7/5): -
- Wilson (1/5): Be careful when looking at woodsprings suites in abilene tx - When I finally got a different room at almost 5:00 pm on the second day of my 2 day stay. Our first room had no curtains on the windows. No security latch on the doir, no bathroom door, no shower curtain, the stove top was just sitting out of the insert on top of the counter with expised live electrical wires. There were no nightstands to place our things on.
- Brian (4/5): - Add pillows
- Wendy (4/5): - I will never go back there again.
- Jose (1/5): It was the most awful experience we have ever had. - Absolutely nothing. It’s a NIGHTMARE HERE. The management was awful and rude and unprofessional and liars. It was the dirtiest and most ghetto hotel we have ever been to. And the manager Alex harassed me on my phone until I woke up so she could go off on me for nothing. The elevators don’t work and it’s so nasty and bugs everywhere and the smell was horrid all over.
- Eli (4/5): - No other place to stay. I’ll probably just sleep in my truck next time
- Mashunda (5/5): Uninformed Inconvenience - It was quiet, and I was able to get some much needed rest before my 3am flight. The elevators broke at some point from my check-in... I didn't leave my room at all for any reason when I checked in... No one notified me of this inconvenience, just a sign on the wall... I went straight to bed because I had a flight to catch early (3am) the next morning. Around 2am, I took the stairs to see if i could open the elevator from the 2nd floor to bring down all of my heavy bags. I got stuck in the elevator and had to wait 30 mins to get someone to let me out, causing me to lose my 1st Uber driver. Once I was out of the elevator, I had to drag all of my heavy bags down the stairs. Then, after calling my 2nd Uber driver and trying to leave my room keys to check-out (Staff was not available nor on site). The 2nd driver drove off!!
I am furious at this point!!! Woodspring Staff did not inform me of this inconvenience at all! They could have called and even stuck a notice under my door, but they never notified me. They only stuck a piece of paper on the wall near the elevator!!! I was stuck in the elevator, and I lost 2 Uber drivers and lost money due to this inconvenience! I am seeking reimbursement for this inconvenience as well! I traveled too far, and I've lost too much money to have this happen to me!!!
I've called several times to speak with upper management about this matter, but no one has returned my calls to resolve this inconvenience.
- Jose (10/5): -
- Jones (10/5): - Good stuff and nice hotel
- Robert (2/5): - This may be the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. The property is in disrepair, the elevator didn't work most of the time. The outside doors did not shut so there was no security. I could not lock my door with the deadbolt. There was zero water pressure in the bathtoom sink. The room felt very dirty. I tried to stay somewhere on the cheap and i certainly paid for it.
- Luis (5/5): It was ok not great - Room was clean. towels and sheets were clean It smelt like marijuana smoke in the lobby and the elevator smelt bad
- Kristina (2/5): - Horrible.
- Brandon (2/5): - It was terrible...staff was no help when we checked in...and when we told them the ac doesn't work they said they had no other rooms and no maintenance on site to fix it until two days later, we got a call at around 10pm saying they finally had a different room for us ..the ac didn't work there either, it was only about two degrees colder...staff was no help and neither was management, will never come back to this location and will tell everyone I know to not go there
- MARK (4/5): - The bed was very soft and comfortable and the television was good. The refrigerator was useful too, but ther were lots of cockroaches! I don't like bugs and roaches are the worst. I rate this place 2 stars because of the roach infestation. There was also a hot plate and a microwave oven but i wouldnt want to cook in there because of the roach problem.
- Kimberly (2/5): - When I saw the room, I immediately turned and went to front desk. Was Awful!! Filthy and Unhealthy!! I Did Not Stay. And They Would Not Give Me A Refund. I was Not there for 10 minutes. Terrible Motel. Terrible Business Owner. Someone from Expedia should go there and stay a night. Maybe then, you won't be an advertising representative for this place. Very Upsetting!!! 😡
- Aminata (10/5): Exceptional - It was very Clean and affordable. Any
- Noah (8/5): - Nice and clean
- Samantha (10/5): - Great staff. Front desk was super nice! Clean too!
- Brenda (1/5): Wtf kind of shit is that. - Property was fine but at 2am someone came into our room. And a lady and kid opened our room door and came inside when my husband yelled at them they ran. Mind you the lobby is closed from 10pm to 10 am so nobody could have gotten a key. It had to be a master key. Plus if they would have gotten the rooms confused the lady wouldn’t have ran. They would of just been like “omg wrong room “
Went the next morning to talk to the manager the next morning (but the manager wasn’t going to be in until the next day! The lady working the front desk in the morning just told me to make a police report and that maybe they gave them a extra key because anyone can go to the front to get a key if they get locked out. But how could they have gotten a key if the lobby closed and nobody is in the front. Only on call.
Like she just didn’t care.
- Timothy (8/5): - The staff was excellent
- Tina (8/5): Very good -
- Ann (1/5): Bad -
- Melinda (1/5): Fraudulent Double Charge, DO NOT STAY OR PAY WITH CREDIT CARD they REFUSE TO REFUND THEIR mistake! - The only thing good was the young lady that helped us when we checked in. They had overbooked and did not have the double bed room i requested. They “comped” another room to meet my needs and then double charged me and refuse to return my money. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS HOTEL! Very Rude General Manager and other staff.
- Karen (6/5): Not worth the price. Sort of cleaned a little - Went there for one night because we were supposed to have really bad storms and some tornadoes possibly so she put us on the top floor. The drawer by the dresser between the beds was broken. The bed itself was a box spring I think and felt like old rusty springs from an old car in a box and my body hurts all over today trying to sleep on that. There was a full size fridge but no ice machine and I left a bag of ice I bought. No breakfast. The place is ten years old but felt like 50 years old inside. The outside looks nice. The inside awful. No pool, no breakfast, full prices and no ice and really old bed. Mattress is covered in a bed bug protected sleeve and so were the very thin pillows. Dog hairs on sheets and a dryer sheet by the foot of the sheets in my bed. I can't believe I paid over $100. I could have stayed at Motel 6 for less and had ice. Elevator smelled like pot smoke. When someone was at the desk they were friendly checking in. Checking out no one was there and had to find a place to leave the room keys after 9am.
- Nicolette (10/5): Amazing Stay - We enjoyed staying here. They made us feel like we were at home. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The beds were amazing front desk. Girls were very sweet and kind. Great hospitality
- Davis (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (10/5): - Good
- Tracie (1/5): Bad -
- Alexyss (1/5): Bad -
- Horselover123 (1/5): Bad - Price was good and room clean It was hot to sleep the air didn't work great and the bed was so uncomfortable if felt like sleeping on the floor..we couldn't even make it the whole night. Left early to go home.
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good - The location and the fact the Golden Corral was close by
- Mark (1/5): Horrible - This was not a regular bed and the frame moved all night every time we turned over. Also the metal bed frame had a nasty squeak. The bed was hard and not comfortable at all. The bathroom vent made a clanging noise all night long and was annoying as hell. Called front desk to complain but no answer. Hallways stunk and so did the elevator. Overall stay was less then expected.
- Chamberlain (3/5): Completely ungodly - The people working front desk were hardly at the desk. Had us wait 2 extra hours after check in time, because they weren't sure if our room was clean, and they couldn't get ahold of the house keeper. They just had us waiting in the lobby for 2 whole hours. They were very rude to costumers. When we finally got to our room, there wasn't a tv remote to be found. We went back down to the lobby to ask for one and they said it was their department that maintence will deal with it, long story short we never got a tv remote. Not to mention the elevator wasn't working and they had a poor lady on the 3rd floor that has a broken foot.... This stay was terrible. Wouldn't stay at this location again!
- Alsides (7/5): Good -
- Jasmin (2/5): Very poor - Nothing Smells like weed
- Justin (1/5): It was atrocious. - Nothing Everything
- Donald (1/5): Bad -
- Yazareth (9/5): This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at especially brining my pup, I do wish there was a fenced in dog park but ot - I love the fact that they allow pets and did not have any breed restrictions. Makes this one of the BEST hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Unfortunately I could smell the smoke even in the non smoking rooms and it affected my asthma just a bit, I also do wish there was a fenced in dog park so my pup could truly run around in..
- anna (10/5): - Great
- anna (10/5): - Great
- Joe (2/5): horrible experience - The location near the Domain The location was great near the Domain, I went there to celebrate my birthday but had bad experience. My room door had a gap as if someone had tried breaking into the room. Breakfast was horrible, the eggs were dried as if they're been setting up for a while. I had to check out a day early because my car got broken into. Front desk was acting like that was a normal behavior. Horrible experience I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
- Daniel (1/5): No resultion and lack of basic follow through technology. - No elevator put on 3rd floor
Also was reassured about resolution by early am although I was given the run around. No tv and told I had a comfy bed and clean room. Well.they advertised cable TV for comfort. What ever.
- Daniel (1/5): No follow th - The most honest people were the maintenance man and the Hispanic front desk female. The lack of truth behind statements and be reassured by more lies. When told the Matter would be resolved with an antenna or if my spouse could come and get another TV . Front desk running around in house shoes and then having mgr tell me I had no refund because of time... wow...after no one came in the morning or evening as promised. So I show up at 2 just about 15min after maintenance man. Just to be told I basically should be satisfied with lies, and no follow through, and being charged for amenities that are basic. And being told but you had a bed and a clean room.
I would like to ask mgmt would you be happy with your treatment of guest.
- Mickie (1/5): Bad - I did not like it ...I tried getting my money back but they wouldn't let me....I never even stay not one night there this place is terrible snd full of people on dope that's all you can smell there the place was trash. Broken blinds and all and full of bugs too .. noway was I staying there.. I Do Nor recommend thus place for noone they should be shut down
- Brenda (5/5): Other than the elevator not working. Everything was good - The elevator didn’t work and we were placed at the 4th floor. Which wasn’t a problems until we finished paying and when we walk to the elevator to go to our room a guest told us it didn’t work. But we couldn’t get a refund to go to another hotel due to the money wouldn’t be refund for a couple of days.
- Michael (1/5): This place isn’t worth staying staff won’t help you to try to take care of the problems - Nothing Elevator doesn’t work, the side doors to the building is broken so anybody could walk in and when I walked up the stairwell to the room, the refrigerator was disgusting
- Trevino (1/5): Bad - Hated it everything sheets dirty yet the could not get me clean sheets because they didn't have enough Everything was wrong never again this place needs to get reported lady up front look like yet smelled like dope
I was raised by a attacked I do know one when I see one
I hope she gets help soon so sad 😔
- Robert (1/5): Horrible - Nothing Smelled, dirty, broken. No one at the desk to check in. Sign w ph#. Finally answered on the 3rd call. Then, it took 25 min to show up to check me in. Took a total of 40 min from walking in to key in hand. Put me in room on 4th floor. Took payment. Only them to me, elevator doesn't work. Told him ill go stay somewhere else." He should have told me right off bat. Asked for a refund, was told the room was non refundable.......
- M.bowen (7/5): Nice enough - That I made a last minute reservation and it was approved Broken furniture in room
- Marcy (1/5): Bad - Nothing The employee were rude and disrespectful, elevator out of service didn't tell me until already paid them wouldn't refund money
- Verified traveler (2/5): Poor stay - The elevators were down. We were on the 4th floor. There were people smoking in the stairway and animal pee in there. There was also people smoking in the halls and pee in there as well. There was also roaches. It wasn’t a great experience
- Michael (3/5): Poor -
- Brenda (7/5): Good - The elevator doesn’t work.
- Timothy (2/5): - Horrible
- Zachary (4/5): - Mainly a longterm rental. Elevator broke, no wifi.
- Malcolm (4/5): Disappointing -
- Garcia (3/5): Poor - There small roaches The smell
- Monica (1/5): Bad - I booked the room online and when I got there to check in I had to wait 20 mins for staff and when they finally came it was the most horrible costumer service. Just to be told they had no rooms. Like seriously the most unprofessional service
- Brandon (10/5): - Was a great overall stay staff was extremely easy to deal with and understanding.
- Chad (5/5): Passable - Elevators did not work for the 2wks of my stay.
- Daniela (2/5): - No lo recomiendo, muy mala experiencia mal servicio, mal olor , hay cucarachas …
- Monica (1/5): Did not stay. They did NOT HONOR MY RESERVATION - I had a reservation and when I arrived they told me there was not a room for me. I never stayed and the lady was very rude. Told me it was my fault because I chose to reserve through booking.com. The entire staff including management
- Cara (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mickey (8/5): Very good -
- Melton (10/5): Exceptional -
- antonio (8/5): - Room was nice and clean, people in hall very loud and rambunctious at 2 am. Hard to get sleep. Before that it was peaceful
- Verified traveler (2/5): ROACHES - Roaches are everywhere i tried talking to the front desk about it they just brushed it off terrible hotel to go to the first day we were there the hotel staff and a guest were outside fist fighting
- kiariya (10/5): - The staff are very respectful and make sure u have everything u need for ur stay!
- Javier (7/5): Good -
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Horrible. Had my reservations booked for over a week.. showed up to the hotel and lady states “She sees my reservations but she’s fully booked and has no rooms available for me.” Traveled 3hrs from home and ended up having to drive back.
- Ricky (10/5): Exceptional - Everything except the Hispanic lady at front desk , rude .
- Sandefur (9/5): Superb -
- Sandeep (6/5): - Booking from Expedia is Horrible, They couldn't find our reservation easily.
- Victor (1/5): It sucked - Nothing Everything
- George (2/5): Bad place to stay - Clean Elevator did not work and they put me on the 4th floor. I even informed the staff a had bad knees and back. The bed was hard as a brick. The TV was very small about a 17”
- Dacey (1/5): Trashy , overpriced stay. - Nothing Wi-Fi did not work , staff was not present half the time or helpful . Management did not provide any assistance with Wi-Fi issues , even when on the portal it stated they would be able to assist . Fridge looked like it was stained with pee all over it . It smelled horrible. Overpriced for a very bad , small , trashy , and uncomfortable stay. I paid for 3 nights and only managed to stay 1 due to these conditions, would recommend a Motel 8 before EVER the Woodspring Suites. DO NOT STAY HERE !!!
- Suzanne (5/5): It was okay but I probably wouldn't stay there again. - Lots of space. We didn't use the shower but it was very clean - it was the nicest one we have seen on our trip across the country. We like being able to walk over to the Golden Corral for dinner. The noise - residents were up late and were loud. The toilet kept running - the float in the tank isn't working right. And the refrigerator runs loudly at night too - it was hard to sleep.
- Angelina (8/5): Very good -
- Malmberg (7/5): Good - It was a good location for my visit and decent accommodations. The security of the building wasn’t great, one of the side doors near the stairs wouldn’t shut all the way. And in my room the toilet constantly ran all the time.
- Nevaeh (8/5): Very good -
- Irving (2/5): - The elevator was not working my poor senior citizen mother had to go up and down 4 floors. I requested a room on the lower floors but staff said no because we had a certain type of room. The tv had no remote control and when we got one it wouldn’t work.
- Alejandro (9/5): Superb -
- Herrera (8/5): Very good -
- Cynthia (10/5): Amazing! - Very professionally kept N/A
- Leonel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brown (8/5): Very good -
- Debra (6/5): - Got to property and was told Elevators were not working and that our room was on the 4th floor. I explained to them that my husband was disabled and couldnt do the stairs. They were able to speak to the manager to approve a lower level room. The room was nothing fancy, beds are not too sturdy. You definitely can hear all the neighbors and outside traffic.. The microwave was broken. I didnt like that fact that you could smell the food people were cooking in other rooms. We also saw a few roaches. We ended up leaving a day early.. Next time i will definitely purchase the insurance so that we dont lose out on money if we leave early. Lesson learned.
- Barber (7/5): Good price but not what I expected - Location and price Elevator was broken, no blankets on my bed, bed was pilled away from wall when I entered room, thin walls
- Nick (8/5): Very good -
- Charla (7/5): Good -
- Chris (1/5): Bad -
- M.bowen (10/5): love this property - the convenience of the facility, the staff curious and timely, clean, quiet nothing
- Corrie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kailan (9/5): Comfy beds - The beds were really comfortable and clean
I liked the kitchenette I do wish the smaller amenities came with the room though as stated on the website. But you have to purchase those separately which I don't think is fair considering the base price of the room for 1 night. The bed was on a moveable frame which hotels don't usually have
The bottom rim on the outside of the tub was yellowish orange
Our cabinet didn't have a door
The stove burners were out of place basically broken and loose on some sides
The floors were sticky
- Brandon (8/5): - Loved it !
- Oscar (4/5): Rude and unhelpful - Politeness it seem every question was a bother
- Lomas (1/5): Bad -
- David (10/5): - Loved this place.
- Tatum (2/5): Very poor -
- Newton (10/5): Nice and cool comfortable last place to go to the kitchenette inside. I just love it and yes, I have come here quite a f - The little kitchenette inside is really nice that’s phenomenal! I liked it other than in the handicap room, which is so far of a walk for someone without a wheelchair that’s handicapped and the handicap chair was dangerous in the shower
