• Matthew (7/5): Overall the lobby and room were very satisfactory. - The gym area was pretty small and unventilated. Second, I came down to the front desk for some towels and had to wait about 5 minutes (actually minutes) for someone to come to the desk.

We were in room 318 this trip, the refergirator was very loud when the compressor would come on, the bathroom top right light would flicker until it warmed up, the shower/bath handle was leaking when the water was turned on, I made the front desk aware.

• Alton (7/5): Great hotel with not so great breakfast. - Room was very clean. Hotel itself was very clean. Location was convenient. Staff was excellent. Restaurant on site was very good. The breakfast was so so. If you're not an IHG member you will need to pay $15/couple ahead of time or $10/person that morning. Either way, the breakfast wasn't worth either amount. Have had a better breakfast at other hotels i.e. Hampton Inn without the extra charge.

The staff is very attentive to all needs and questions. I have stayed at other hotels in Covington, this property exceeds the others as far as excellence all around.
• Cornwell (10/5): Exceptional - Unfortunately the day we were set to check in for a ball game weekend, I got a call stating the Queen suite we booked was out of commission due to a leaking shower. Because we were a big family, a standard Queen room would not work. They allowed us to still get the Queen suite and tacked on the adjoining standard Queen room with a working shower which was awesome. Also for the inconvenience they gave us breakfast vouchers for our stay and a credit to use in restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even tho we were rained out of all games the weekend!!

• D Angela (6/5): Breakfast Service - The exterior of the hotel is very clean and close to restaurants, grocery store and shopping. Front desk check-in and checkout was wonderful. The room was clean and the bed felt wonderful. It was very quiet and peaceful. I had a paid voucher for breakfast and I loved the fact they had grits and not the instant grits. There's no one to greet you when you first walk in the restaurant to take your voucher so I went and grabbed a plate, but didn't see a drink machine, but there's a bar. Its very spacious, neat and clean looking. However, when I went to the bar to ask for something to drink I wasn't greeted nicely. I asked for something to drink. She told me what was available and I said I wouldn't mind orange juice and apple juice. I was told the breakfast voucher was for one item only so I said ok give me the apple juice. I was then asked for my voucher. I handed her my voucher and then noticed I didn't have any utensils. One of the waiters, a young man, asked if I wanted plastic or metal. I told him plastic would be fine. Once I got back to my table I noticed my cup didn't feel full, so I opened the lid and was shocked. It was like half full, so I went back and showed her. I was told they had a limit on how much they can give you. I was outdone and told her unbelievable. I was still feeling upset so I mentioned to another female employee who was pregnant what happened. I told her I was definitely going to report her to the front desk. Her name was Chelsea.

They consistently went the extra mile to engage with guests and facilitate any needs we might have. Shane the maintenance tech went so far as to loan me a cordless drill/driver to upgrade my walking stick, and Peter at the front desk was extremely helpful and cordial. A woman in the bar/restaurant (did not catch her name) spoke with me for some time about certain special requirements our sons share, which was useful for us both. The facility is exquisitely clean and well kept, and the (very dang good!) lobby coffee is kept fresh 24/7. I hit the fitness center all three days, and enjoyed that as well. My only pings are that I'd love to see more dumbbells in the fitness center, and the pool was closed during our stay. All in all, an excellent stay at a perfectly managed hotel.

• Billy (6/5): - I did not like the fact that the maids did not speak English. One day they didn't leave any wash cloths, and one day we came back to the after 5:00 p.m. and the room had not been cleaned. The ice machine on the 3rd floor did not work. The bed felt like I was sleeping on a cement floor.
• John (10/5): - Fabulous room attendance and cleanliness. 24/7 high quality coffee in the lobby. Maintenance tech loaned me a cordless drill to upgrade my walking stick. Breakfast buffet is ten bucks extra and the eggs and sausage were dry, but there was plenty of fruit and cheesy grits for the win. Fitness center doesn’t have too much gear (do they ever?), but is clean and well lit. Pool was closed in May; seemed odd to me. All staff that we encountered were wonderfully helpful and welcoming.

• K9002YGmatthewm (2/5): Scammers - I cancelled room before deadline -- but management wouldn't refund money despite clear documentation, calls, emails, and texts. I had to dispute with credit. And company and ultimately got refunded. But I wouldn't recommend anyone stay there. Beware!

• Erika (7/5): Fresh Sheets Please - Friendly staff. Latoya in the restaurant and Amber at the front desk. Amber was so friendly and accommodating My sheets were dirty and smelled. They changed them the pillows still smelled like a sweaty human.

• Brittany (2/5): Unwilling and not compassionate - I had a room scheduled for April 10th because my infant son was scheduled for a surgery the next day, and we are traveling 6 hours from out of state. The hospital called me at 1:30pm on the 10th to cancel his surgery. I paid extra to have a refundable room up until April 5th(that is the latest cancel date they allowed). Being that this event was totally out of my control, I thought they would be willing to work with me since i would be calling to reschedule my stay anyways. I called the hotel, and the front desk lady told me there wouldn't be a problem to cancel and refund, that she understood. I had to go through hotels.com for the refund since I booked through them. They reached out to the hotel, which told them they were sticking to their policy of no exceptions and not issuing a refund. That is a terrible reputation to set for themselves and somewhat disgusting being my situation. I will no longer be using them to book for our rescheduled surgery.
• deandriam (10/5): 5 star hotel - The staff is very friendly and nice and the hotel is very clean and spacious. I would most definitely stay here again. Also, it is very peaceful and kid friendly here. I love how the pool area is gated to keep the kids from jump in the water. The bartender was very nice.
• joseph (10/5): Car Show Weekend in Covington. - quick check in. room was clean. Bar and Bar tender service was v-good. Breakfast was a $10.00 add on, buffet on weekend was v-good. Area felt safe.
