Guest Reviews
- littlebear22 (10/5): - the bed was super comfy, the shower was hot and the shower head was phenomenal. I loved the little attached patio in back with fire pit. the full kitchen really made it easy to relax without leaving again. for the price I would DEFINITELY book again!!! I wish maybe there were some curtains instead of just the black out shutters just so I could have opened them up in the morning with just a little privacy.
- Nicole (4/5): It was very dirty and gross. - Close to downtown area. Bathroom was very dirty. Floor was dirty.
- Adeline (9/5): Nice location! - Quiet, comfortable, nice having a small kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. No hand towels available
- Dorothy (3/5): - Quiet location after the manager had the resident come back and take care of his/her dog who was continual barking. No hanger's in the closet - Would not consider it a 3 star resort -
Sprinkler went on in the middle of the afternoon - covering the walkway to my room.
Overall will definitely not stay there again if I am coming to Prescott.
Very difficult to find especially in the dark - as the sign apparently was broken and had not been repaired.
- Dennis (7/5): - Biggest problem was the lawn sprinklers were on a timer and we were trapped in our room close to an hour around 9;30am or we get soaked getting to our vehicle. The term Cottages is miss leading. they are actually very nice motel rooms, The four Cottages are actually VRBO.
- DeHoyos-Gaede (10/5): -
- Wise (8/5): - It was quiet till the last night, The person that came in next to me was very noisy till well after midnight
- Rodillas (10/5): - The location is fantastic! Super close to the Courthouse square, farmers market, thrift and antique shops. And just a quick bike ride to Bean Peaks. My favorite place to stay when I am in Prescott. I am already planning my next visit!
- Charles (10/5): Great place to get away and enjoy - Cozy atmosphere. Although the property was in town it had the feel of being in the outdoors A little pricy
- Crystal (7/5): Cute and quiet but in desperate need of repairs and updating. - Cute and quiet. It definitely needs an update. Lots of dried dog poop in the grass, room could be cleaner, lots of disrepair. Would not stay again unless updated.
- Randy Grijalva (10/5): - Very cool place, so Prescott!
- Wowza really (8/5): Came here after being told somewhere else was double booked. My wife and I enjoyed the rustic patina - Bed was comfy in room 11. Enjoyed the outside campfire pit in the backyard. Loved the gas stove inside for heat. Getting back to us on a later check out time
- Hernandez (10/5): - The area is perfect , my favorite thing about staying here is its close to the town but still faraway where you still feel like your in nature. I loved all of it.!

- Parra (10/5): -
- Nichole (10/5): -
- Larry (8/5): -
- Christian (5/5): Cute, probably won’t stay here again. - it was a cute place. Cozy room, nice shower head. Toilet location, the driveway is atrocious. One driveway is essentially a curb. And the other one bottoms out your vehicle.
- Sheri (9/5): truly wonderful - The room was nice, but lounging by the fire in front of our room was truly wonderful. We went there to relax and unwind, and we certainly achieved that. The walk to the creek was very soothing, and waking up early in the morning to see deer was an exciting experience.. We needed more towels for the floor. It rained all weekend, and we could have used them to help keep the room clean.

- Marsha (9/5): -
- Rodillas (10/5): - Location was perfect. Close to town, but enough not to be too busy.
The room.was quaint and rustic. But exactly what we wanted. This was our second stay and we would stay again!
- Gwenda (10/5): Thank you for a wonderful stay and we enjoyed our anniversary with you - The trees the creek, it was so pretty. Maybe a bit more privacy.
- Sean (10/5): - 2nd stay in a row i had to call after my check in time to get door code
- Paul (9/5): Will definitely consider staying here again. Friendly and competent office staff. - Bed was comfortable. The place was clean and liked the decor. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and other utensils. Nice having a refrigerator/freezer and iron/ironing board. Met all my needs for this business trip. Unit was ready when I arrived. However, needed to wait a little for the email with unit number and keypad code after my arrival (about 20 minutes).
- Taylor (10/5): A perfect couple’s retreat! - So cute and quiet with a beautiful scenery
- Ruben (10/5): -
- John (8/5): Very nice cottage accommodations with lovely natural surroundings. A good value too. - The inside of the cottage was very nice. It was roomy and had everything we needed for our stay. Nothing that we disliked, but the outside of the cottage does not reflect how nice the inside is. And the parking situation is unpaved and the spots are tight.
- John (8/5): Convenient and clean - Very convenient to
Downtown whiskey row, clean and very good amenities and pet friendly very quaint! Number 8 needs furniture , chairs would be nice off the bedroom
- Coy (10/5): Cozy and romantic. - Location was good close to old town. Very clean and quiet. Would definitely stay again. Parking was tighter than expected but overall ok
- Jaymme (10/5): - Clean, quiet and cozy! The bed was very comfortable and we felt safe there.
- Kim (8/5): - It she be noted you need charcoal to bbq, grounds could use a trim, seems like many units have FT renters
Quite place
- Doddie1971 (10/5): - Very cozy and loved all the greenery. It was rainy and wet so there were a few mosquitoes.
- Tammy (8/5): - Very pretty area
- Sally (10/5): - Very rustic, but nice and clean. Having a kitchen with a stove was an added plus. Nice neighbors.
- Hukee (1/5): - It was not like the picture. We weren't in a separate cottage. The place was old and in need of repair. The door is in need of repair. The bed was uncomfortable the pillows were hard. Ants in the bathroom and a couple bugs. We will not count on you again.
- madeline (1/5): Spent 1 night & left. Street noise, bed not comfortable. -
- RONALD (8/5): - Love the court yard
- Charlotte (7/5): -
- Sandra (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at Apple Creek Cottages! The check in process was easy, property was nice and clean on both inside and outside. I’d definitely stay here again!
- Kim (9/5): -
- Christian (10/5): -
- Steven (8/5): Na - Convenient and clean One room
- Nut (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful spot. Very relaxing
- Ethridge (10/5): Very peaceful and comfortable get away. - The court yard was beautiful. The cottage was very comfortable and very clean. It was quiet and perfect.
- Janet (3/5): One and done with this property. - Close to downtown Prescott. Concrete entry step was broken and covered with rug, resulting in tripping hazard. Inadequate kitchen utensils ie. 1 teaspoon and 1 tablespoon. All pots and pans very old. "Patio" was unkept, pet waste from past occupants in bag on patio.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (9/5): Superb - Like living in a studio apartment. Love that I can cook my own meals. Beds are comfortable. Not always clean. The dishes are at times dirty and food is left behind from other stays. The smell of fabuloso is way to strong in some rooms. You’ll have to bring your own paper towels.
- Deeann (8/5): Very good -
- Liz (5/5): Disapointed - Location was good for dining shopping Kitchenette had no paper towels, no ice and had a coffee machine but no coffee to offer. Sheets had dog hair on them. No firewood for wood burning pits, full time residents staying there. no ice machine.
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (8/5): Very good -
- Terry (7/5): Very rustic, our cottage was directly on highway. - Rustic, comfortable bed, great gas stove for heat which makes no noise. Location is feet from busy highway, not much provided. No much traffic until 7am or there about then very noisy. Both nightstand and floor in front of night stand was very sticky so we used our own sanitary wipes to clean them before bringing in our things. No hand soap in bathroom, coffee pot with no coffee, no sugar, no creamer. Says kitchen, but absolutely zero supplies such as salt or pepper. Big footprint on sheets corner where person making bed stepped on with shoe to tuck in sheets?? (Not sure why) Absolutely nobody on sight, everything done via internet where you get an email for electronic push button door lock number , which locks automatically once opened. If you want to unload your luggage you must either leave door open, or continually keep unlocking the door. If you decide to leave door open, then it will lock open and you must unlock again to close. When lock opens or closes is very loud and will wake up anybody trying to sleep. In little outside area ashtrays were overflowing full of smelly cigarette butts.
- Cynthia (3/5): Poor - The bed was very uncomfortable the pillows were flat and smelled bad.
- Luke M. (10/5): - Perfect and cozy
- Perkins (7/5): Good -
- Jennifer (6/5): - I really liked the cottage. It was clean. I think. Couch as a little questionable and bedding might be questionable. I did not like that there was no office on site. I don’t rely on my email so I didn’t realize I had a welcome email outlining my stay. The grounds could be nice but are kinda crappy due to permanent residents. I do not feel very comfortable and I would have left after the first night. But I paid for two nights. Overall average and not worth what I paid for.
- Eugene (8/5): A rustic little cabin. - Bed was comfortable, it was a cute rustic cabin. We opened the shutters and some of the windows were so dirty we could not see out.
- Lawson (9/5): Great Little Cottage - I loved that on the very cold day that the room was warmed up before we checked in. The room was cozy/rustic but with all one needs. ( except there was no coffee for the maker. No sugar or creamers. I didn't realize dogs were allowed and a barking dog who barked for about 5 minutes woke me on my first day.
- Trimborn (8/5): Very good - The location was great it was very comfortable When me and my Wife sat on the bed we got covered in pet hair all over are clothes was very disappointing considering the price called management and they sent over new linen fairly quick the parking is a little tight as well
- Dawn (8/5): I overall, enjoy my short visit, would possibly book again. - The rustic cottage itself, was quaint and comfortable! Everything in the place functioning including oven(rare). Plenty of hot water, bathroom was newly renovated like a l’berge hotel so really enjoyed the bathtub, and heater worked great! 😊 The grounds were a little unkempt could use some TLC to make this property much more appealing. The unit I stayed in#11, had a common wall with a family that live full time. First night TV on very loud until 3am. So did not get much sleep, second night was better! If booked on site, would have probably have pass on it.
- Cheri (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean rooms...updated
- Todd (7/5): Good -
- Delacy (1/5): Bad -
- Julia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mcgaffey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nichole (10/5): Perfect getaway from the city, yet still close to everything. - A way from the sounds of the city. And still very close to everything. It was quite. It was vary clean.
We will be coming back. Everything was perfect.
- Sara (10/5): Great Location and Super Accommodations! - The new upgrades to the room were great, and very classic. Lots of hot water, and comfortable bed. I don’t have anything negative to share.
- Darren (8/5): Very good -
- Frank (9/5): Superb -
- Cook (9/5): Superb - The privacy and fireplace Nothing
- Debra (8/5): Very good -
- Adrianne (10/5): I would definitely come back again - Cottage is super cute and clean The parking was a little weird
- Petar (7/5): Good -
- Stephanie (10/5): - Very quaint, rustic property. The cottages give you a feeling of being out in a cabin but are almost in the heart of Prescott historical district . We stayed in cottage #11. The cottages are old, but the cottage was maintained to keep that woodsy feel. There was a "wood" stove in the living room for chilly evenings and an air conditioner for the warm days. The kitchen was equipped with fridge, stove, coffee maker, pans, and tableware. I would suggest bringing paper towels as none were provided. The bathroom had been nicely remodeled and there was plenty of hot water for bath or shower. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet at night. Very little road noise. There were several closets to keep belongings. A small, semi private patio leading out through a dutch door was a nice surprise. You could sit with your morning coffee while enjoying a fire in the small pit. The courtyard was well kept and pretty. There seemed to be a couple full time guests so expect to see personal items on a few door steps. The communication with the property was great. There is no manager on site, so check in information is sent when cottage is ready. We had several correspondence from property during our reservation booking and check in keeping us up to date with our stay. If you are looking for a 5 star accommodation, you might be disappointed. But if you want a cozy, out of town feel, I would recommend Apple Creek Cottages. We will definitely stay again.
- Ball (8/5): Very good -
- Joyce (9/5): Superb - It was quiet Coffee maker but no coffee.
I hadn't read anywhere that if you want coffee to bring your own. Plus, I've never been to a bed & breakfast or a cabin that they didn't have complimentary coffee.
- Tracie (6/5): - I did not like that the bath tub had hair in it still and there were spider webs above the bed.
- Ilse (1/5): Shocked to see rental property extremely run down! - Convenient location and room itself acceptable. Cottages are in bad shape. Windows covered with paper, a shocking sight when driving into parking area! Patio area in desparate need of repair work.
- Charlene (10/5): - Cute little getaway. Excellent view of the stars at night. Definitely will be coming back again!! Thank you!!
- Ashley (10/5): Great stay, plenty of space and accommodations! - The property is a little slice of Heaven! You have everything you need in your cottage for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The fire pit and chairs right outside our door was great. There wasn’t anything I didn’t really like about the property other than the fact that check out is 10am instead of 11am like other locations, I didn’t realize check out was 10am so the morning was a little rushed.
- Jim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mechael (10/5): Relaxing and beautiful! - The property was so peaceful and just perfect. There was a solutely nothing wrong, Apple Creek Cottages was perfect
- Edward (10/5): - Love the property really nice there. The rooms were very clean and updated. We enjoyed our stay very much there. Love the grass for the dog.
- Tracey (10/5): Love this place!!! - This was my 2nd stay and I'm looking forward to a third! It's a quaint getaway that is reminiscent of simpler times and is the perfect escape from city living. Wonderfully equipped and a very comfortable bed. Communication from management is excellent. I hope to move back to Prescott someday, but until then, Apple Creek Cottages is my special place!
- Kate (10/5): Nice place to rest, have comfort, and enjoy the nature at the same time. I would love to come back. - The place is very green and cozy. We can enjoy nature around. The neighborhood is beautiful. The shower head was too big , too large for the shower.
- Ailene (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thackeray (10/5): Exceptional - It's very quaint and cozy. I slept like a baby. The courtyard is beautiful.
- Tom (9/5): Superb - It met our expectations of a comfortable rustic cabin.
- Deborah (6/5): - They mowing early in morning
- Mark (10/5): - Small Boutique place
- Karen (6/5): - Good location near Whisky Row. Cottage 11in desperate need of updating. Floor in cabin was not swept when we arrived.
- Charlene (8/5): Very good - It was very quiet, liked that it had a kitchenette and large fridge. Bed was comfortable. Parking
- Tiffanie (9/5): Superb -
