Service is very good and front desk- reception super professional, efficient and nice. Special thanks to Annie and Pui, Al, Nikky. Only minus is room cleaning on third floor- left side,close to the beach.
- debbiesA4438GH (8/5): Small rooms but hotel nice and clean - We recently stayed for 14 days at this hotel. We had upgraded our room to pool side 4101 and we were so glad we did. Even with upgrade it was still really small with no place to store your luggage. No bathrobes or slippers even on our room which was a shock. I also asked to borrow a bottle opener but was told they do not have. Really? In a hotel? We noticed that the first couple of days the rooms were cleaned to a high standard but then they were just flitted over hurriedly. On several occasions I had to ring down as we had only been left one towel or no bottled water whatsoever! The biggest pull of all was the beach, this was magnificent and the best spot along that coastline. Overall it’s a great hotel but if you like a big room then it’s not for you.

Food is good! we stayed the second time and we always enjoy coming back.
- sloany67 (10/5): Another fantastic stay - This is our third time staying at the OZO Samui, and as a frequent traveler, this place still impresses me. Every area of the hotel is scrupulously clean and tidy. The staff engage and are friendly, security is very good, and I feel that you can leave your things on a sunbed whilst going for a swim. This place is definitely driven by a good management team—not that I have seen them—but well done, fabulous stay so far. If I had to be picky to balance things up, I would say the beach bar cocktails are not very good and could benefit from some training, as they appear to be very heavy-handed on the lime.

- aliciarM9432OC (6/5): Overall a good stay with some shortcomings - The day we arrived we had to wait several hours for our hotel room after a travel of 15 h, this was a very disappointing first impression. The staff are very nice and friendly and overall was our experience very good at the hotel apart from the room cleaning. We had two rooms which was cleaned at nearly 5 pm almost everyday in a 10 night visit. The cleaning lady’s were very friendly but forgetful as well, they forgot rags and their chips bags in our room after cleaning.

The food was excellent, and the breakfast buffet had such a nice variety — the smoothies were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing, and the hotel being right on the beach made it even more perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special shout-out to Nueng, who truly stood out — he was always there to assist us with a smile and made our experience even better. He is amazing! Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back.

Our room was very comfortable and beautifully designed, with a lovely view overlooking the pool. The pool area itself is excellent—spotlessly maintained, inviting, and a great place to relax. The drink specials available for guests were a nice added touch and made spending time by the pool even more enjoyable. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, catering to different tastes, and was consistently fresh and well presented. The hotel’s location is another major highlight—perfectly situated with plenty of restaurants, shops, and activities nearby. The hotel also offers bike rentals, which is a great option; however, I’d recommend booking day by day depending on your plans. Given how much there is to see around the area, you may not need to rent a scooter. What truly sets this hotel apart is the team. Everyone was welcoming and genuinely kind, but I would especially like to recognize Nickki at the front desk. Her service truly stood out—she has an exceptional understanding of customer service and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel cared for. Whether it was greeting us with a warm smile or checking in to make sure our stay was going well, her attention and professionalism made a real difference. Thank you to the entire OZO Chaweng Samui team for such a warm welcome and a wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very well maintained, clean, modern, and pleasant, you can really feel that everything is well managed and cared for down to the details. The location is excellent, right on the beach and close to everything, which makes the stay very easy and relaxing. One of the biggest highlights is the staff, who are incredibly kind and professional. A special thank you to Annie and Nickie, always smiling, attentive, and ready to help. The rooms are comfortable and the Staff across the front office, housekeeping and restaurants are super attentive and friendly. The beds are extremely comfortable. - TheSutties (6/5): Underwhelming - We had planned this trip almost 12 months in advanced as we wanted to have a deluxe beach front room and knew that there weren't many. We knew the rooms weren't big before we arrived and that was fine with us. But we had been looking forward to a relaxing holiday week on the beach. OZO is located on a great part of Chaweng Beach and that was what we were looking forward too. But when we arrived at the hotel our hopes of a relaxing by the beach for a week were dashed as our room was right next to the main path to the beach and the pool/beach bar that was open from the morning until 10pm at night with loud banging music from 10am until 10pm! As a couple in their 50/60's the music was repetitive and mostly unrecognizable. Depending who was on that day depended on how load the music was. On most day's it could be heard from the ocean and definitely in our room! Being there for 7 days we had a couple of nice afternoon's and Kate from the bar was very lovely and brought our cocktails to us on our terrace. But 7 day's of listening to the same play list over and over and noisy people walking backward and forward with no consideration that people's rooms were right there, both day and late at night. The early morning complaints to the bar staff about the beach/pool towels not being available and the duff duff music all day long it was all too much. Breakfast was ok if you got there early. A basic spread of the normal foods but not much change over the week we were there. We had dinner at Stacks Burgers one night and that was very good and the staff were great. They serve big meals so if you are hungry that's a good place to go. The front office staff were really helpful and helped us book a restaurant and taxi to get there and also arranged a transfer to the airport and breakfast box for our last morning as we had a very early flight on our last day. So in summary if you like noise and have kids and don't mind very small rooms you will like OZO. It's location is very handy to most things on Chaweng beach area. Most the staff are lovely and work very hard with so many people to deal with and some of them are not very nice to the staff. Then OZO is your place. But for us, we will not be back!

The staff was not only unfriendly but sometimes threatening, and “no” was systematically the answer to every request, even simple ones. We had booked two connecting rooms for our children, but they were not available upon arrival and no solution was offered. Breakfast was poor quality, with almost no service – we even had to set the table ourselves. The only positive points: the location and the beautiful beach. I definitely do not recommend this hotel.

On a beachfront with, lots of loungers and very spacious modern and clean rooms. So happy with our stay, we will be returning x
- ni_mhn2017 (10/5): good hotel with an amazing beach location - really enjoyed out stay here, great staff. food and drinks are dear but they are nice. housekeeping staff are great and very friendly. this hotel is very central and offers an amazing stretch of the beach right on its door step for guests, the beach was amazing. the breakfast was good with a wide selection, however it was often stone cold. i really enjoyed my stay here and would stay again. the staff are very helpful when it comes to you going on trips and them contacting drivers for you and ensuring you get to go to your trip safely. the rooms are small but we had no issue with them, they are big enough for two people and the housekeeping team ensure theyre cleaned well. very good hotel :)

They were arrogant, rude and entitled. I felt uncomfortable watching these people enjoying themselves whilst others are being starved to death. I actually couldn’t believe the full prayer attire on a certain day. This isn’t just this hotel it’s all of Chaweng . It’s morally wrong and I was sickened to my stomach

She was ably assisted by Been and Nick. Then today at the outdoor restaurant attached to the main breakfast place I received very friendly and efficient service from Billy, Kate and Nong .

The hotel is clean and comfortable, the facilities are great, and the breakfast has plenty of variety and is always delicious. What really sets this place apart is the people. Every single member of the team from housekeeping to the breakfast crew, bar staff, and front desk, was kind, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us feel cared for. A special thank you to Koy, Nick, Nueng, and Ya. I mentioned a treat I hadn’t had since childhood and couldn’t remember the name of. The next day, they surprised me with two packets of it, such a thoughtful and sweet gesture that honestly made my day. Thai hospitality is already known for being warm, but the staff here go above and beyond. I wish I’d caught more names to say thank you properly, but to everyone at OZO Chaweng, thank you so much. - davecK4996IT (6/5): Good and bad! - This was our first trip to Thailand and chose Ozo because of the beautiful beach location. We stayed in a beach front villa which was excellent. The breakfast was really good with good variety,also drinks were good but expensive. The only negatives we had was with a couple of staff,most staff are very friendly but I went to the beach bar and the girl seen me and ignored me and when a lady came to the bar she ignored me again and served the lady that had came after me! Also in Stack burger the girl in the white t-shirt was very rude when I asked for another drink, ignored us when we wanted the bill but she was friendly with the table next to us. Only reason I can think of is some of the staff don't like English people because it was obvious we were treated differently. It was the same the day we left, the reception staff were waving and saying goodbye to everyone as they left but when we left we were ignored again! We wouldn't return to Ozo even though we enjoyed the holiday because of couple of staff members that didn't seem to prefer English holiday makers.

Staff was exceptional, everyone is very kind and friendly and meets you with a big smile, ready to accommodate any requests. We even had their romantic dinner on the beach and I was speechless. I particularly enjoyed playing beach volley with staff everyday. A shoutout to Ya, Jig and Andrias who were amazing. Thank you so much, we will hopefully be back soon!

The things we loved: * The view and rooms as exactly like the pictures * Location - the best part of the beach at Chaweng. The water colours were amazing. * Walking distance to some amazing restaurants including the Orchid Restaurant right out front (it was the best Thai food we had all trip) * Mini mart right across the road * A vast variety of breakfast foods at the buffet * Staff were lovely and very helpful * Lots of different options available for seating around the pool / beach area. Loved our holiday here - will definitely stay here again.

Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Prime location if you want to be close enough to all the Chaweng action but far enough to unwind. Room was a little dusty and initial set of bed sheets had a bad smell when first checked in. Staff were quick to assist. A bit pricier than similar options.

The service was excellent from the moment I arrived. A big thank you to Khun Koy at the Front Desk, Khun Lin at the Beach Bar, and Khun Ticha at the Eat Restaurant – all of you made my stay extra special with your warm hospitality and attentive service. The housekeeping team also did a fantastic job – the room was spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout my stay. The beach in front of the hotel is stunning, the breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, and the swimming pool is beautiful and relaxing. Overall, this stay exceeded all my expectations. Highly recommended and I would definitely come back again!

The good things: location is central in Chaweng with direct beach access, the staff are great, the pool is very big, the food is really good, the resort is quite modern, the Iyara Spa is directly across the road and is excellent! The bad things (and this is being picky): the gym is very small and not well equipped, the rooms are cleaned through the day so your room might not be refreshed until 4pm or later, the room design and furniture don’t optimise the layout. Overall this was a good place to stay, the important things are good.

You know you are getting a Ned style resort in chaweng but this does deliver well. We had a corner room which was large with only a very small balcony. However did benefit from being on the quieter side away from the noise. Would return the kids loved if even if the parents problem prefer something a little less busy.

- annwillson (6/5): Guests let this hotel down - First of all I would like to say thank you to the staff of Ozo hotel for my birthday cake it was a lovely gesture and I was very touched. I don't like to leave negative reviews but I like to share my experience objectively. The hotel was nice and clean the rooms are much smaller than any hotel I've ever been to with nit much storage space. The only wardrobe is in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding linen and pillows. The shower is good but qw waited two days for our shower gel to be refilled. It's nearly impossible to get a sun bed as they all gad towels on them by 7am. Mist if the day there was no one on the beds at all but the staff never removed the towels.. There are signs saying you are not allowed to bring your own food into the hotel but lots of people did and nobody said anything to them. The staff were really lovely and polite but I think at times they were too polite and they should have been removing towels off beds when they were not being used. I found a lot of eastern Europeans were extremely rude to everyone at this hotel. Breakfast was chaotic at times with long queues for the coffee machines and egg station. The staff work hard and I felt sorry for them by the way some people treated them. It's a nice hotel which could be a great hotel if they addressed some of the problems. Sadly I have no desire to return here
- davecS6982ON (6/5): Could do so much better - I dislike giving a negative review but I could tell early on our hopes for this stay wouldn’t be met. I wrote this review on day 2 of an 11 day stay. I had stayed at this OZO two years ago; everything was clean, well organised and even had a slightly exclusive feel about it. We had a basic room at the back facing a construction site. But it was very nice and we had a great stay. Back then, the breakfast was of very good quality; the fruit was fresh & chilled. The egg station was clean & organised with almost no wait time even at peak hours. The other breakfast items all of good quality. On this stay we paid for 2 ‘Deluxe Pool King rooms’. Having stayed at the OZO in Penang, Malaysia in a similar room we had reasonable high hopes. On reviewing the room (4102) facilities here at Samui, although advertised there was no desk (there’s only a narrow shelf under the TV) and there is no sofa. There’s just one ‘easy’ chair & one hard plastic chair. We travel very light so we don’t carry much with us, even so the rooms are very small (understandable in less expensive rooms) but in a more expensive room there is only one quite small cupboard & strangely it’s in the shower room. There’s no drawer space in the ‘living area’ & only two small drawers, again in the shower room; literally no other space to place your clothes. The TV: As instructed on the TV home page, Netflix & YouTube failed to ‘cast’ once I’d paired my phone to the room. We called reception but no one was forthcoming that day but we did receive a phone call on day 3 of the stay; it wasn’t a big deal for us but it could be for some people who want to watch TV perhaps in poorer weather. On day two I managed to get YouTube (though not cast from my phone) but it was in a Chinese. Again, that didn’t bother me but it may frustrate some people. On arrival - so bear in mind the room had been readied for new guests - our patio area was not clean; it was littered with leaves and twigs from the bushes and ‘green debris’ from days gone by. While I completely understand there can be a strong breeze by the sea, there seems to be no one around to keep your outside space a pleasant place to be. We swept the area ourselves on day two. The bean bags on our patio are lovely. Very comfortable and a great place to sit and relax. The bed and pillows and linens are excellent. The shower is large and has great water pressure. Breakfast. The lovely young lady that takes our room number showed us to a table but we felt for her as she tried her best to manage a very busy restaurant with new guests arriving all the time. There needed to be another person to help her. There used to be two staff here the last time we stayed. The egg station was frequently busy over the period we stayed and sometimes with a queue of 4-6 people waiting. The chef was sometimes overwhelmed. Some people walk away frustrated. The hot plate scrambled eggs alternative were powdered and inedible. The bacon tasted like salty cardboard. The fruit wasn’t chilled and just ‘ok’. The waffles and pancakes were cold and spongy and tasteless. There was no maple syrup, just honey. Cereal and yogurt is nice. Toast and bread is good. Of the two main coffee machines one often showed ‘full’ of coffee grounds rendering it useless until emptied. Consequently a lengthy queue can develop. Outside at the pool: Towels were sometimes hard to come by. Some of those we found were old and worn and colour faded. As in Europe, many people selfishly ‘reserved’ a sun bed with a scrunched up towel but were absent for lengthy periods of time so sun loungers were hard to come by on some days and often on the sunny days. The pool itself was very nice, large and nicely designed. The kids own section is excellent. We have yet to check out the beach area as it’s been pretty windy and the sea a little rough to enjoy a swim. In summary, we paid a great deal of money to stay here - mainly because our last stay was so nice but while some (or even all) of my complaints may seem petty, I can assure you they are genuine and meant only to pre-warn potential new guests who would be spending their hard-earned money to stay. Yes, it’s high season but that is no excuse for the obvious lack of staff in several areas to manage the guests needs and reasonable expectations. This is the most obvious sign of a hotel trying to save money at the expense of paying guests. The majority of staff are very nice and very friendly, especially in the breakfast restaurant but they are clearly rushed and arguably overworked in such a way as it makes it hard for them to do quality work and provide the service one would expect for the price. Overall, the stay was a little disappointing and worse, I see little chance of improvement due, I believe to cost cutting. Note to the Manager should they respond. My apologies for the negative review but please understand, I’m simply giving an honest opinion.

We didn’t receive the 2 drink vouchers we should have had as VIP hotels guests, due to unavailability we didn’t get a late check out and upon checkout there was no info about where we could shower/change if we wanted to stay for a swim until we were ready to head to the airport. The room had a funny smell but the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast buffet was alright but it was a bit messy and loud in there. Perhaps a bit commercial. The pool and beach area is nice, away from the crowded street. We prefer to stay a bit further out from the busy places this was just a quick stop over on our travels.

The hotel staff were always available to help and assisted us with booking and planning a last minute tour of the island. The beach is easily accessed and beautiful. There are plenty of chairs - no need to come early or fight for a space! I highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
- Teresa (8/5): Ambience of Ozo - The location of the hotel is good but unfortunately the style and type of uniforms gave the feeling that I am at a hospital or a mental institution. The colours of the uniforms resembles those at hospitals for different wards. It spoils the ambience of the place. We stayed at the deluxe room but it is still very small compared to other hotels that we have stayed. The view and location are very nice but the ambience have not done justice to the place. My overall feeling when looking at the staff with their colourful lack of style uniforms spoiled my trip as I have to remind myself that this is not a hospital. I have to add that we are able bodied perfectly healthy people who only visit friends and relatives at hospital so we do not have a hand-up about hospitals.

- Michael (10/5): Central location and very comfortable - Really lovely hotel and the service here is fantastic. It’s in a great location and an easy walk down the main street or a couple of steps away from the beach. Highly recommended and the rooms are extremely comfortable.

- Suraj (6/5): - My issue with the resort and reason for 3 stars is because there was no consideration given for my Expedia status on the room upgrade or property amenity. I politely asked 2x but ultimately gave up. Overall great stay and value to spend. I do recommend this place. I Enjoyed the breakfast and beach bar dining & drink options. Beach right outside resort is very nice, but near the umbrellas and seating the sand is littered but that is expected considering the amount of foot traffic. The street is very walkable with plenty of dining options and away from the main strip and busiest areas but very easily walkable.
- shauna (8/5): - Best pillows ever. The constant music around the pool and beach area was a bit annoying. The pool needs more shade options. The papaya salad chicken satay was delicious.

- Patrizia Elisa (10/5): - The Ozo hotel was excellent. Great location , beautiful view a great resort accommodation to stay at. You felt relaxed straight away. The staff are so friendly they always had a smile on their face . I will be back there again 😊
- paula (10/5): - Where can I begin? First of all the location and beachfront access were amazing. The staff went way out and beyond a D-defined VIP service. The front person I Don't recall his name (blond hair) made our stay very special . They also sent my daughter a personal cake to her room for her birthday!
- DARYL (10/5): - The room wasn't very big, plastic chair low quality toiletries, 3 English movie channels, no rain shower , felt like a ibis room for the price point not value for money, pool is great, location is great , beach is beach , still bottles and cigarettes from the previous day on the beach , breakfast was very good and all the staff were amazing, island hotels are a little more expensive but overall I did extend my stay by 3 extra days so not that bad
- John (10/5): - The location of the hotel is very nice right on the beach. Though tell us set up well with the pool in the middle The main road right outside is all the shops and it's very walkable... Had a wonderful time walking the entire beach and the city for shopping highly recommend.!
