paulgC5896AF (10/5): Altogether a pleasant highway business hotel - We were pleasantly surprised by the Hotsson Querétaro. It's alongside a busy highway at the edge of the city, with no sites of interest nearby, so it doesn't look too promising.. But it's just a short ride from the bus station, and about a $5 taxi or Uber to the center of town, or a half-hour by local bus, with a transit card. There's an enormous Chedraui supermarket a ten-minute walk away. Rooms are comfortable, with the usual toiletries and amenities expected at a business-class hotel. We found all of the staff agreeable, and the front desk gave us a late checkout with no hassles. The pool is small, but it's well heated, and it's mostly sheltered from the wind in the cooler months. The food was a pleasant surprise: many dishes available at breakfast, and creative dinner options. We ordered the sábana de pollo (a large chicken filet rolled over fillings with avocado and bacon flakes) , then ordered it again the next night. It's worth it to upgrade to the executive floor for the included buffet breakfast and evening drinks and snacks.

Sallie (10/5): The HS Hotsson redeemed the day after a day and evening of airline incompetency. - The HS Hotsson Hotel Queretaro was welcoming and beautiful upon entering. Staff was very friendly and helpful and helped us get settled after hours spent in the airport with a delayed flight. It was particularly nice to be greeted with a simple but delicious complimentary buffet in a room with spectacular views and attentive staff. Our room was spacious with slippers, bathroom amenities , complimentary beverages including beer and comfortable bed. It made a long, hard day of Airline incompetency end on a sweet note ! Thank you HS Hotsson for redeeming the day! There was nothing that I did not like other than the carpet on our floor (9) needed to be cleaned .
