- cinnamonh688 (10/5): BEST mother/daughter vacation ever! - My mother and I stayed at Jashita and I cannot say enough good things about our fabulous vacation! It was the BEST! My mom is 81 year old. I was looking for the perfect place for us to spend quality and peaceful time together. The concierges and staff were unbelievably kind and helpful. We LOVED and appreciated Rosa, Brenda, Cristina, and Cecilio. They went the distance to make everything comfortable and we felt deeply cared for from the moment I was booking the vacation and communicating on WhatsApp, throughout our time there, and after we returned home. It was a great pleasure. Jashita arranged our private driver from the Cancun airport down and back. It was easy and safe. Our driver drove very carefully and focused on the road (not on her cell phone - ha!). Jashita was very safe and the restaurant was delicious. The wait staff were loving and kind and we adored Clemente! The Friday night belly dancing show was the icing on the cake. What a treat! We enjoyed all the fellow travelers visiting from around the globe. Everyone was so relaxed, happy, and kind. The ocean was warm and peaceful and it was very easy to get in and out of the water which was perfect for my mother. Snorkeling was very accessible and Fernando made sure we had the equipment we needed at the Adventure Shack. We did two day trips outside of the Jashita property. We took a taxi to the Akumal Monkey Sanctuary and also did a two cenote tour organized by Jashita. Byron took wonderful photos of us and sent them via WhatsApp. He was great! Overall I cannot say enough good things about Jashita. It was an absolutely perfect vacation and my Mom and I will treasure the memories forever. Our appreciation abounds! What a special place. - JanaHelene78 (10/5): Stop Searching and Select Jashita for True Calm and Beauty!! - Grab your coffee and maybe also a margarita because this is going to be a long one! In the BEST WAY EVER! Where do I even begin?!đđœđđ My boyfriend and I had never visited Tulum. We visited Cozumel 8 years ago, and San Miguel De three years ago! have visited Singapore, Costa Rica, and Maui several times. We live in Southern California and visit Santa Barbara and Carmel several times throughout the year. We take day trips to Malibu and Laguna Beach regularly. But nowhere I have EVER visited or stayed compares to the beauty, perfection wonderful hospitality, magical, relaxing vibes, and true calm I found during our stay at Jashita. When my boyfriend called Jashita directly to set up our transportation from the airport, the truly wonderful and lovely Brenda (the manager) informed him that we were in for a treat and that many people cancel their plans that theyâve made in Tulum once they arrive because itâs just so beautiful and tranquil at Jashita. WOW was she correct! I had planned and pre purchased a 1/2 day jungle adventure for Friday, (the day after we arrived) and I pushed that baby back all the way to Sunday lol because we just didnât have any desire or need to leave the immaculately designed and maintained resort that Jashita is. We arrived to the hotel Thursday late afternoon. And the extremely sweet and lovely and kind, Cecilia who was front desk concierge for most of our trip gave us a tour after greeting us warm and welcoming us in their beautiful and air-conditioned lobby. As soon as we left the lobby and started walking down the sandy path towards our second story oceanfront room, I could see their extremely gorgeous pool and the ocean beyond and the palm trees swinging and there was this lovely breeze, and I literally had tears in my eyes. It was just SOOOO perfect. Cecelia took us up to our room and the view from our balcony and the hammock on the balcony and the comfortable chairs were just so perfect. The bathroom is clean and spacious and the shower. Amazing! The bed and pillows very very comfortable! And the air-conditioning worked perfectly! Everything is perfect about Jashitađ. I canât even come up with a better word! We- especially me are picky eaters. John, my boyfriend has very high expectations when it comes to seafood and presentation, and vibes and we donât mind spending more to have great food experiences, but I need a lot of flavor and I donât eat seafood. Jashita covered all of the bases perfectly. Their restaurant Pandano has this incredible signature salad that I cannot wait to try to re-create at home, their Smashburger was insanely delicious, their bruschetta and their impeccable breakfast menu all so perfect! Their lovely, lovely owner of Pandano restaurant who is the most lovely gentleman from Italy truly knows his stuff and created an incredible menu! He greeted us most mornings while we were having breakfast and asked how our day was and he also came and made us laugh and threw a couple free margaritas our way here and there in the evenings as we sat outside and enjoyed the much-appreciated breeze and ocean view for dinner. We literally ate all of our meals at Jashita except for one WAY less than delicious and very disappointing meal we were âservedâ on Sunday during the Maya Adventure .đ”âđ« Letâs chat about the outdoor massage of a lifetime that we experienced!! We were in this gorgeous open air outdoor wooden structure near the ocean but tucked into the foliage and nature. To feel the breeze, hear the birds, see the ocean all while being luxuriously exfoliated during my 80 minute cacao scrub and massage with Sara WHO WAS AMAZING! They also had the most magical wonderful playlist going on while we receive the massage which just added to the beauty of the experience!John had the 80 minute full body massage with Saraâs partner who was fully able to deliver the truly deep tissue massage he needed! In closing, we will be back to Jashita, we will not be researching other hotels or resorts, and I will be recommending this place to anyone. The other thing we loved about the entire resort was that it was never crowded. There were no riffraff weirdos staying there. Sorry, but thatâs not the crowd we were looking for. There are no DJs, there is no cackling of teenyboppers or drunk people anywhere nearby. It didnât matter that we were not in the typical hotel zone or that we were 30 minutes away from the town center. Trust me, once you arrive at Jashita you donât want to be anywhere else. If you are considering going to MexicoâŠDonât go anywhere else in Mexico just go straight to Tulum and go straight to Jashita!đ It gave me a glimpse of what Heaven might actually be like. Unmatched laid back luxury...This is our 8th visit to Jashita since 2011, when our son was 3 years old. Heâs 16 now, and Jashita still holds a beloved place in our hearts. Our familyâs fondest memories are on this beach, in this restaurant, and on this reef. More than a breathtaking paradise, more than a restful getaway, it is the *people* behind Jashita, their loving kindness and hospitality â that are so special. Whether itâs your first visit or your 10th, they will make you feel at home and embrace you in the gorgeous energy that is Jashita. Muchas gracias Tommaso and family, Clemente, Brenda and team - we cannot wait to return (again and again!).
- O4967KBstevew (10/5): Tulum Delight - We stayed at Jashita Hotel while touring Tulum and Chichen Itza. We booked the Cleopatra Suite for our 25th anniversary and it was fabulous. The suit had a large covered deck with personal pool, hammocks (where I spent several hours) and other outdoor furniture to make lounging a dream, plus a deck above the room with chaise lounge for sunbathing. It also had a small covered deck in front of the room to enjoy the view, which was fabulous. The bedchamber had a king four poster bed, air conditioning, and bathroom with shower. The restaurant was Italian and the food was great. The private beach was in a protected cove, was well cared for and free of the seaweed that can plague the area. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
- anniekaplin (10/5): Home Away From Home- A true invitation to relax, and unwind from the hustle of life (and Tulum Town) - An amazing Italian/ Mexican fusion, a home away from home. We feel honoured to have been a part of the Jashita Familia, even just for a very short time! We stayed 8 days, and truly loved every moment. If youâre looking for a very calm, inviting atmosphere, a safe haven to rest and rejuvenate, look no further. I sincerely hope this place never changes. I would come back twice a year if I could. So let me tell you a little about our stay⊠TRANSPORTATION- the hotel arranged transportation for us to and from the airport, with the same amazing driver! We could have rented a car as well, as there is secure parking available onsite. It was our first time to the area so we were happy to take the arranged transportation to visit the ruins (parking seemed like chaos there) and cenotes (which was actually nice, we didnât do a guided tour we just had a driver and arranged to hop around cenotes that were close by- it was great, felt very safe the entire time). The BEACH. It was amazing. The water was SO warm! The bay is a small sanctuary from the windy days that can hit Tulum, even on the windiest of day you can still swim and snorkel with ease. The hotel has marked and cleared a path from the main water entrance out to the bay, that you can swim and touch the entire time. Itâs a lovely wild bay, full of wild sea creatures to explore and respect while venturing into their home! Having the ability to swim and then stop and stand for a moment is incredible. We saw lots of beautiful fish, a stingray and many small little reefs to connect with under the sea. The beach & pool LOUNGE AREA was impeccably kept, with staff committed to keeping the seaweed cleared, and the seating, comfortable and areas almost spotless. This is not a party beach/ hotel, and I was thrilled about that! For the most part everyone staying there is relaxing, and enjoying the natural sounds of the surroundings. It was such a beautiful part of what makes this place truly special! It is a family friendly space, but those bringing their children were all very respectful of how everyone was spending their time. The adults only pool was a great option as well, although I do always enjoy hearing the laughter of children- something so special about it! BEACH SERVICE, around the pool and literally anytime you wanted something was impeccable! We felt really taken care of! Any requests we had were always met with kindness and compassion, and the team members truly went above and beyond to make things happen! As someone who paid to stay at Jashita, I am happy they charge a fee to access the beach for anyone not paying to stay at the hotel already (I noticed a few reviews that were unhappy about this) the sun beds, snorkeling and service alone are well worth the cost to visit incredible spot. The POOL options were stunning, the rooftop pool is truly something unlike anything weâve ever seen! Sangria Hour from 12:30-1:30 was a hit, and we donât really drink that much, but we really enjoyed it up there! Our ROOM, was gorgeous! We stayed in the Nefertiti Suite, and I can not say enough amazing things about it. It was spotless, the view was incredible, housekeeping was incredible every morning and night. The view, was unreal! The PANDARNO RESTAURANT, was incredible! We had a bad experience a few years ago in Mexico (we got a little too adventurous), so we ate here 8 days in a row for breakfast, lunch and dinner and had no issues, in fact we felt very spoiled. The breakfast was included with our stay, and it was out of this world, so many options. The French toast, croissants, assorted homemade jams and the healthy rice were some of our favourites! The owner of the restaurant frequents the space when he is in Mexico, it was amazing to meet him, he is one of a kind- and so sweet! Make a reservation! The service here was also VERY FAST! We never waited on a single meal. They really have this restaurant fine tuned, kudos to the kitchen staff as well, who we never met, but who made every single meal perfectly! OUR JASHITA FAMILIA (aka the incredible staff): I have never felt more at home, so quickly while on vacation and it was 100% a reflection of the welcoming and caring humans who keep this hotel running! Prisciliano, Antonio, Erik, Raul, Cristina (as well as everyone at the main front desk), were the sweetest, most helpful, and kind. We truly connected with the staff, and really wanted them to know how special they made our stay. We both had tears in our eyes saying goodbye. The SPA- oh my gosh, the spa. I had a Luuk treatment, which included a botanical bath, and then added on a facial. A huge splurge for me, but I was so thankful for the experience! Ofelia, was incredible. Highly recommend, even just the botanical bath, itâs a very special and unique experience, like being lovingly bathed by an elder, they donât call it El Baño de las Abuelas - the Grandmothersâ bath for nothing! SAFETY- this place is super safe. I am a bit of a nervous traveler, but I had zero worries here. I donât think we locked the door to our suite the entire week, just left the screen doors open, to let the wind blow through. I left my sandals by the pool one day, and they made their way back to me before noon the next day. Constantly left my beach bag unattended while snorkelling and had zero issues, itâs really not the type of place you need to worry about anything like that, which only aided in feeling super relaxed and calm. A lot of communication is via WhatsApp, super easy if you donât speak Spanish, but plenty of staff are fluent in other languages. It will be our goal to know more Spanish the next time we visit. TIPS- tip well, and tip often if you can. Be knowledgeable of the country, their minimum wage, cost of living, school costs, long hours worked, and sacrifices most families have to make just to send their kids to school. Most people working in the tourism spots have families that live 3-4+ hours away- itâs just how it is, tips are super important in these areas- I suggest adding some space into your budget to tip well. All tips are generally shared in the tourism spots, with everyone working in tandem to make things flow so smoothly- especially at Jashita! OVERALL- itâs very beautiful and relaxing how theyâve built this hotel into nature. At night the lighting is perfect and sets a very calm tone. A breath of fresh air, similar service that youâd receive at an all inclusive, but a way more intimate vibe. If youâre looking for a calm, relaxing place to stay and spoil yourself, stop thinking and book this place. We canât wait to visit again! EXACTLY as advertised!

The hotel is the right size -- big enough to offer excellent service, a private beach, an elegant restaurant, spacious and well-appointed room, and a lovely spa -- but without the hype and tumult of larger Gulf of Mexico properties. I think it is one of the best hidden gems on the coast between Tulum and Playa Del Carmen. Unspoiled and quiet, itâs a delightful little oasis nestled on some of the most incredible beach. Every time the experience has been consistently amazing. From the moment I reached out to the staff at Jashita Tulum, the hotel reception teams professionalism and willingness to help is really second to none. From room reservations through to any additional queries and requests like help booking airport transfer to recommendations for local places to visit, the entire team are knowledgeable and really go the extra mile to deliver a really first class experience. Ruby on reception remembered me as a returning guest and made me feel welcome and at home. The hotel and grounds are idyllic. As usual, the grounds and house keepers really do a stellar job in up-keeping such a such stunning little property. The pool and beach are wonderful places to relax, and the rooms were immaculate. The housekeeping and reception team went the extra mile to mark my Birthday and make me feel special. I had an incredible experience in the Hotel Spa. Angie was amazing, knowledgeable and incredible at all the treatments she offered. Then finally a big thank you to the whole Pandano restaurant team. Everything I ate was really delicious and the service from breakfast through to dinner was amazing. I appreciate from the first moment you sit at the restaurant the staff do their best to remember your name, room number and preferences, which really makes you feel like a priority. - Vittoria-VM (10/5): One of my best experience - Jashita Hotel is situated in a private Bahia out of this world. No pictures, videos, testimonials online do the place justice! Completely unreal! They think of everything for you and prepare anything you might possibly need, very clean and unique. The level of friendly, attentive and responsive service was top notch. The restaurant is very accurate and really well run and the food is fresh, delicious, with a great selection covering all dietary needs; outstanding in every point. Will go back for sure.

Our room was excellent and had so much outdoor space. We had a honeymoon suite and would recommend. We enjoyed the restaurant. Breakfast was included and had excellent choices. Dinner had a good variety of options but was pricey. The beach was relaxing but very rocky and there is lots of sea grass in the water. The spa was beyond amazing. Reasonably priced and one of the best spa experiences we have ever had. The botanic bath ceremony is a must.

- D7262NAlesleyd (10/5): Sister Trip to Relax - This hotel is small and a perfect paradise island. All the staff is so nice, especially Daniel he took extra care of my sister and I. We had the best massage by the beach by two fabulous ladies. They were so kind and attentive. The breakfast that is included was amazing. We loved having the guacamole and a drink by the beach or the rooftop terrace (amazing views). Our room was very clean and comfortable and always kept clean. We also felt very safe here. Towels were easily available for us at the beach and pools. We will definitely be back for another visit, we weren't ready to leave.

It's easy to put into words the beauty of the environment, the deliciousness of the meals, the perfect drinks, the well appointed rooms, the top notch spa offerings etc. But it was the staff and owners of the hotel and restaurant that hit the home run. We left feeling cared for in subtle and authentic ways that is hard to achieve in the hospitality industry. When leaving I felt like we were leaving our good friends who all have a genuine care for each other and for their guests. That is what truly stands out at this hotel. Thank you to all of you! Particularly Enrique who was so warm and helped us with our spanish, but also Fernando,Juan,David,Gabriel,José ,Miguel,Nicolas ,Gerardo ,Raul, Daniel,Brenda,,Ruby, Cristina, Ophelia, Angelina and of course Clement! I know I am forgetting some names, but thank you to everyone and the folks behind the scenes, it takes a lot of effort to make hospitality look effortless. - PosterboyAlberta (10/5): Absolutely perfect in every way 10/10 - Jashita was absolutely outstanding and perfect. It is a beautiful hotel with amazing views and amenities. If you are looking for a quiet, intimate place to just go relax, Jashita is perfect. It's fairly small (only 30 rooms) so there are never issues about finding a beach chair or waiting in line at the restaurant. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. 10/10 The staff were very friendly and helpful and seemed to possess a magical ability to appear when you needed something and to disappear when you didn't, allowing you privacy and relaxation. Overall my stay at Jashita was one of the best hotel experiences Ive had anywhere in the world. I recommend it highly.
- 485tajc (10/5): Jungle Beach Vibes - Absolutely incredible experience at this hotel!! Highly recommend this hidden gem. It is a beautiful property, the owner is a very cool guy and the staff do everything to ensure you have a wonderful experience. The tour guide Byron was well worth the price. Highly suggest doing their spa experience its worth the money, the shaman provided a cacao ceremony, the herbal baths were very relaxing and unique and the massage outdoors was divine. Rubi in particular was great at front desk, Brenda the manager also super helpful. In the restaurant Juan, Eduardo were a few names I remember but frankly every staff was courteous, engaging and welcoming. Of note the resort is about 30 minutes from the beach zone and 20 from the main town. Taxi should be approx 50USD each way which is alot but the hotel pricing was more reasonable. A quiet beach where you can relax, amazing accommodations, and a spa where you can unwind on the beach. Could not recommend more.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Be prepared to spend a lit of money - Hotel is a little tired, the suite we had needed updating. Shower and bathroom werent great. The food was very good althougb we would have enjoyed a greater range of specials. After a 4 night stay it became a bit repetitive. Overall feel of the place is very zen but prcies for food and drink are sky high. 300 mexina pesos for a bowl of guacamole! Spirits are single measures and around 300 mexican pesos for a shot. The trouble is you are a captive audience as there is no alternatives within walking distance and taxis are a complete rip off. Spa was also scandalously expensive. Yoga instructor was great, as were all the staff. Just let down by being a bit tired and needing a bit of TLC.
- Sarah (10/5): - A small quiet place to relax without the big resort noise, which attracted multinational visitors. The small beach was a quiet zone which made it easy to read a book or to enjoy the peaceful view. No music except soft at dinner. Excellent landscaping made the small resort feel larger and more private with lots of peaceful look outs and reading nooks. As a swimmer I appreciated that there were 3 pools: adult one big enough for laps, kiddie one by dining area, and a rooftop one with a bar for sundowners. Ocean swimming and snorkeling was possible too but a bit shallow. Definitely sign up for a cenote tour but skip the swim with sea turtles option! The staff were friendly and helpful with accommodating my allergies. They encouraged me to practice my Spanish but able to communicate in fluent English with my husband. Very good massages too. My only criticisms were that beach and poolside smoking was allowed (but few smokers) and that there was the same menu for lunch and dinner with few Mexican dishes. A simpler lunch menu with sandwiches and tacos etc would have been better or a salad bar to be quicker. The open air dining room was fabulous and the Italian food was good. Excellent guacamole and ceviches.

We didnt have a car, so you need to take in mind yhat hopping to Tulum, reqiure Taxis. But we knew that and did not want to leave. Going Outside this is like going out of the bubble. Why pop it. There were issues. Well it is 2022, staff is a challenging issue. But management aware, and knows to be accountant about un trained staff. (Well... the owner was there... and things were sorted quickly....above and over) The resturant is good. Good enough. The place is beautiful. So if you want to relax and just be... thats thd place for you... If you want activities... they have some tailored made options. They can try to 'hook up' guests to share some options. I am sure it will make it a bit more popular and crwate some networking...

- catherine (8/5): - Rooms were a little out dated, the bed linens were nice however they only provided a gross blanket on top (duvet would have made a huge difference). The beach was medium - instead of crystal clear water, their beach front is mostly sea grass which was disappointing. Staff was incredible. Breakfast was off the charts, however the rest of the menu for the day/night is limited. I thought they offered daily yoga - instead I found myself paying $100 a day for a private that lasted less than an hour. I traveled by myself and actually extended my visit twice. I was unsure how safe I would feel as a single woman on my own, but I felt very safe. Wouldnât come back to venue as it was very expensive, but enjoyed my experience and I would definitely come back to Tulum and try another venue.

The restaurant has great food and staff and itâs right on the ocean! Having breakfast with the ocean breeze was a great way to start each day. The rooms have their own patio and plung pool with plenty of seating on the patio. Rooms were cleaned twice a day and the cleaning staff were very nice. I have to say this is a very quiet resort and not a party hotel, which is what I was going for. The location is a couple of miles away from Tulumâs party scene and all the shops/restaurants, and grocery store. If I go back to Tulum I will stay at Jashita again.

The beach-front rooms have a wonderfull view. The pool on the roof top has no competition.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with booking restaurant reservations and a cooking class for us. The room was spacious and bright and had some really nice views. The hotel has three pools and the rooftop hotel pool had excellent views and the complementary sangria was a nice additional touch. The beach is private and the calmness of the ocean allows for many water activities. The staff let us check out late so we wouldnât have to wait at the airport. Note that this hotel is not in Tulum and the drive to Tulum is a good 20 minutes away. However, this is an excellent place to relax without kids running around and without too many people at any one time. The restaurant does have a limited menu but the staff are very accommodating if you have any dietary restrictions. I would definitely stay here again.

Super nice staff so kind and very kind, Restaurant is amazing and the owner if the restaurant knows every customer by their names and is a super kind soul. I can only highly recommend this hotel so peaceful, romantic and quite you feel like you are on the privat island. Our room was ground floor ocean front and it was absolutely beautiful. Rooms are super clean and spacious with steps away from the beach. I truly enjoyed my stay and I would go back again.

The hotel has two pools, a rooftop pool, yoga studio, restaurant with complimentary breakfast each day, and other water activities like kayaking. The vibe at Jashita is very chill so if you want activities, entertainment and crowds this is not the hotel for you. The staff are all very nice and helpful. We stayed in room #8 and absolutely loved it. We had to extend our stay by one night and we were moved into a smaller room (#1) which I would not recommend. The hotel refunded us for that night due to noise. Overall I loved this hotel and would go back if we were able to get the same room type.

- Brian (10/5): Great place! - Stay here. Its amazing. Its not in the middle of the action if thats what youre seeking. We stayed here for a portion of trip and it provided balance and peace from the hotel zone. With a rental car to hit a cenote or explore, and a cab ride out to dinner you dont need to be down in the tulum beach hotel zone. Soliman Bay provides a perfect setting with a natural reef that allows you to grab a free kayak, or swim out a quarter mile for great snorkeling the whole way. The grounds were impeccable, the staff was very attentive and everyone knows your name. With only 30 or so rooms, you feel you have the run of the place, or you can find your own little corner (or meet a nice couple, drink tequila for a night, and go out to dinner with them;) The breakfast was great, the lunch and drinks brought to you on the beach were great too. We stayed in room 21, an ocean front suite on the ground floor. It was beautiful, large, and had a great private outdoor area that funneled steps to the beach. All in all, it was one of the best stays Ive ever had. Ill be back.

There are also two common pools, one for adults, one for kids - many of the suites also have plunge pools and there is a spectacular small pool at the penthouse bar that is often available. Highly recommended property for a quiet vacation.
