Guest Reviews
- Wild (10/5): A relaxing place to unwind and ski. - Stunning property. Lots of space to relax. The sofa was lumpy.
- wang (10/5): -
- Michael (9/5): -
- maree (7/5): Lovely time was out most of the time - Well equiped kitchen Bed mattress could do with being changed and new pillows, better instructions on the appliances as from another country and things work a little different in other places. Instructions on the tv and how to get access to watch programs as should not have to subscribe to watch was glad we had our own iPads to watch Would of liked a map in the room on arrival to help us get around but if your seasoned attendance you don’t need
- Stephen (10/5): - Location was very central, friendly and helpful staff. Facilities and the room were excellent
- Robin (7/5): -
- Gates (8/5): Perfect place to stay in whistler . - Perfect position. Great size for a long stay or short stay . Happy with all.
- Manon (10/5): We had a great time! - It had everything we needed!
- Helen (1/5): -
- Rolf (10/5): Bestes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis in Whistler und tolle Lage -
- Louise (8/5): - We arrived into Whistler about 10.30pm, was easy to find the office location and we had to call a number, and a person came to hand over the keys. Instructions on the door for us were clear. Luckily we had a local person with us who had a phone we could use. Location was great, minimal road noise. We did a lot of cooking and baking, and there was ample equipment to allow us to do this. There was coffee for us to use in the drip coffee machine which was greatly appreciated! There was a bus stop right outside our unit which was handy if you were catching the bus a lot. Until the week of the booking, I didn't realise the address we had for where we were staying was for the office, not the actual place we were staying at, a little disturbing as we had made plans. Thankfully we were only 300m down the road further but this coudl have been a huge issue if it was further away. The map for the complex we were staying in could have been clearer. We had to drag our suitcases (noisily!) around until we found the exact unit we were staying in. There were a couple of nights with a lot of noise from people in the spa after midnight (even though it was supposed to be quiet from 10pm until 7am). There was an issue with the hot water which was partially resolved. There was no hot water to the kitchen sink, which was resolved in part to be warmish. The three showers stayed a just above luke warm for our entire stay so it was lovely to get home to an actual hot shower! There was only a plastic cutting board, so no wooden boards to protect the bench when you needed to take a hot pot off the stove or a dish out of the oven, could be problematic. As per the regulations there was zero spices or salt and pepper, sugar etc in the unit, would have been good to know prior to arrival. The pull-out sofa in the lounge was uncomfortable to sleep in. We tried to see if the gas fire worked, although we didn't need it due to the time of the year we were visiting, couldn't get it to go at all, very pleased it was not cold!
- James (8/5): - Great Place to stay.
Small Patio with 0 View right next to the Noisy Hyway.
Everything else is Fantastic!
- Bryan (7/5): -
- Charr (8/5): Fantastic location - The location was the best
- Michelle (10/5): Brilliant location with everything you need! - The location was amazing. Directly across the road from a big supermarket, fast food outlets and other shopping. Excellent living areas, BBQ and the washer and dryer were a bonus after travelling to several weeks. Nothing - we loved it all
- Gary (10/5): Really enjoyable and relaxing ☺️👌 - Very warm and homely. Would have liked a personal spa pool ☺️
- Kelsey (10/5): - We stayed at the Marquise in Blackcolmb and thoroughly enjoyed it! Walking distance to blackcolmb gondola and whistler village. Parking on site, front desk staff was super helpful at check in. Will definitely book here again when we come back!
- Sara (10/5): - We were in a property on Valhalla. It was lovely. Lovely fire, bbq on the balcony. It had a lovely open plan living space and 2 seperate rooms, each on suite. Property also came with parking and accessed to shared jacuzzi. Jacuzzi was a bit cold though.
Location was great within short walking distance to shops and olympic area. Close to bus stop and everything you need in whistler. Only 10min walk to gondolas or 2mins to free shuttle bus.
- Brian (10/5): Nice quiet place to stay at Whistler - This one bedroom property at Lagoons has the entrance facing the Sea to Sky road so it is very isolated and no one walks in the area. Once you are in the property it is so quiet and isolated which I prefer instead of normally busy Whistler village. Week before Christmas 2024 there was heavy snow and the entrance was completely blocked by 1-1/2 ft of snow. Maintenance person after 8am used a snowblower to clear a path to Lagoon main entrance. Underground parking has 2 sections / 2 gates. Identify which gate you should enter. Also no elevator from underground parking to street level, only narrow stairs. Not ideal for wheelchair/baby strollers. Not a problem for me. I have stayed in Lagoons many years ago and pre Christmas 2024. I would stay here again.
- Simone (4/5): Achtung! „Lotto“-Buchung!
- Christian (9/5): Superb -
- Nicole (9/5): Overall, the property is clean, safe and well located. I would definitely recommend. - Location of the property is well located. The view is not what we expected, as we had an inside view of the complex (no mountain view) and not much sun. The type of view needs to be clear upon reservation.
- Beth (6/5): - The property was in a nice location and the room was quiet and mostly clean. This is the first review I have ever written that include any negative aspects but there were a few things about this property that I could not over look. First was the angry and hostile man who checked me in. He yelled at me when I asked about the $500 deposit and for asking a few other questions. I'm pretty sure he was drunk too bad he wasn't a nice drunk. I probably would have left a better review. The bathroom had a dirty towel left hanging on the shower curtain rod. The shower curtain itself was pretty gross and their was a lot of mold in the bathroom - the tiles were slimy to touch. The refrigerator had left over open meat and the bed had a rut and I'm pretty sure it was a full size not a queen but I'm not sure it just felt pretty small for two people who usually sleep on a queen. If you're taking bikes make sure to take a lock as they have a strict no bike in room policy yet they hold no responsibility for their safety in the storage area. That being said the person I communicated before arriving at their office did a great job it was just that angry drunk guy that kinda bummed me out that and the dirty bathroom and the uncomfortable bed. The location is walking distance to Blackcomb bike park which is great!
- Balvinder (6/5): Pleasant -
- Shinohe (10/5): Exceptional - convenient location for shopping, eating out and strolling the village.
nice quiet enviroment made my stay feel so short. may be my fault but it would be nice if it's possible to choose bedroom type and bath with tub or shower only.E
- Karyn (4/5): - Property was worn out and in need of a reno plus new furniture. Everything was almost clean but not quite.
- Christina (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Very good - All facilities provided in the apartment including washing machine and dryer Noise from people walking in the apartment above
- jemmalyn (8/5): - It was a good stay its just the aircon was not good enough to have a cool air in the bedroom area..
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - Need fans for cooling
- Shawn (8/5): - Nice sized one bedroom. Laundry onsite but not in room. Full kitchen was great. Bed was very comfortable
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable.
Quiet.
Centrally located for all types of biking.
- Liam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tracey (8/5): Pleasant surprise to find a pool and jacuzzi on site. Great location - Property was spacious, well equipped kitchen and comfy bed Shower wasn’t great, I’m 5ft 2in and the water didn’t really do much, as it was a fixed shower head.
Decor in need of a refresh
- Philip (9/5): Updated clean large condo with room to relax and enjoy our skiing holiday! - Large space for kitchen/dining/living areas. Large Master too. Kitchen had everything we needed to manage cooking and laundry in the condo. Underground parking with space for extra car too! The twin beds were not comfortable.
- Brian (7/5): Great mountain when you were away from crowds, lodging was adequate but could have been cleaner. - No breakfast, this was a condo without onsite restaurant. Dated furnishings and cleaning was not as good as expected for the price.
- Le (9/5): Superb -
- Jody (8/5): Overall good value. - Property was in a great location, larger and more modern than we expected. Hot tub was awesome!! The beds were very hard and the hot water ran out quickly for the size of the property.
- Carol (9/5): Fantastic property - highly recommend! 👍 - Everything… The only tiny niggle was the sofa cushions - the springs have ‘sprung’ so they need replacing. But a very minor gripe in what was otherwise a flawless stay.
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Nicky (10/5): Exceptional - How warm and inviting it was great location. Plenty of space
- Yat (7/5): It’s ok. -
- jose (2/5): CAREFUL-Location may not match what is on listing - The listing does not state that the room is not located at the address presented on the listing. This made it difficult for me as I did not have means of transportation between my room and my destination. This information was only presented after booking, and in very fine print. The location is ok if you just want a place to sleep. There were small problems in the room / building. The water was not very hot in the shower or in the hot tub. A resident mentioned that the place had lost hot water for a few days recently. Some of the lights in the room didn't work, including in the bathroom. I took a shower almost in complete darkness. One of the knobs on the stove didn't work. Again, for the price, if all you care about is sleeping and don't care about convenience or having the best commodities, this location is fine. But, I was not expecting this. There are good ratings for this hotel, probably because the better rooms are in better buildings. There are multiple buildings for this listing, which is a little tricky since you don't know where you'll be until after you pay. I came for mountain biking and it was a pain to be much farther away from my friends / group that I thought based on the address on the listing that I THOUGHT I was going to be at.
- Christian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sergey (7/5): Good - Very spacious, has a nice coffee maker. One of the days, the electricity was missing the whole day, and there was no proactive communication or definite answers about what's happening.
- Jason (4/5): Not a great experience. - Unit was dark and cold. Carpet was ancient and dirty. Bed was rickety. Fireplace didn’t work.
Also, check-in was a fiasco. When we informed the property that we’d be arriving “after hours,” We were told ahead of time that there’d be directions for after-hours check in once we got to the office. Upon arriving in Whistler, it took us a long time to find the office, because we weren’t provided with the name of the complex in which the office is located. Upon finding it, there was a sign telling us to call a number, and someone would come check us in. Unfortunately, having just arrived from the U.S., we didn’t have any cell service in Canada. Nor was there local wifi for us to use. Ok, the directions told us that there was a pay phone across the street. I went looking for the “payphone,” but never found it. Even if I had, does it require Canadian coins to use? I didn’t have any. Eventually I was able to borrow a kind stranger’s phone and call. But if no one had been out and about at 1:30am, I have no idea how we would ever have gotten into the unit we’d booked.
This whole situation strikes me as highly irresponsible and easily avoidable. Provide a wifi network for folks to use when they arrive and are standing outside the door to the office, and message them ahead of time with the password! Or send them info in advance that they’ll need cell service in the middle of the night, so they can arrange it in advance. Or send folks info in advance about where the payphone is (a labeled map would be nice) and that they may need Canadian coins to use it. Are any of these that hard?
Also, when we checked out, I asked for a receipt, and none could be provided.
Until some of these issues are fixed, stay elsewhere.
- Phil (8/5): Very good -
- James (4/5): - Whistler Superior Properties failed on the Expedia platform in regards to extra parking fees and better understanding of properties location in advance of arrival.
- Jane (10/5): Lovely property and a great location! - Thank you to Whistler Superior Properties for making my 2 weeks in Whistler so wonderful. Such a homely and not austere place to stay, great value! It had everything and was so comfortable, and everything worked. I was visiting my daughter and partner who are on working visas. Excellent location for the Whistler Village and all the wonderful lakes and walks. Clean, well presented and stock of items like towels, loo rolls, and other items etc was unexpected! Lovely pool and hot tub. Really appreciated the App that informed what was happening in the village such as the movies and concerts! The whole property was well maintained. Such a relaxing holiday and if I ever come back to Whistler will be staying here again! Nothing it was amazing!
- David (10/5): - Very nice accommodation
- Robert (10/5): Heaven - Perfect location, very comfortable and very clean Nothing!
- Kevin (9/5): Very spacious and well appointed unit - Couldn’t work out how to get the rooms cool at night even with all thermostats turned to minimum
- C (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable property. - Very clean and comfortable large self contained one bedroom well equipped flat in a quiet condo complex with very well kept pine tree gardens. Good location at the edge of the village close to the ski centre and the very good network of cycling and hiking trails. We visited at the start of the summer season for hiking on the nearby valley and mountain trails and around the local lakes. We liked everything about the property. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
- Holly (9/5): Superb - The apartment was a great space, had everything you required and was in a great location. Brilliant to have a pool and hot tub to use.
- David (9/5): Superb - Location. Quite too. Tiny ants. However it was on the ground floor in a forest. What can you do? Who knows.
- Steve (8/5): Great place with shops, restaurants, and services within a block or two- we’d stay again. - Very nice 1 bed suite, modern, clean, 10 min walk to everything in “downtown” Whistler. Friendly, helpful staff. Main bedroom very comfortable. Nice outdoor heated pool. Couch/ hide-a-bed very uncomfortable.
- Phyllis (9/5): Comfortable accommodation and a restful holiday. -
- George (10/5): Exceptional - Well located. Close to the ski bus. Close to shopping and restaurants. Rooms were comfortable. Nice living area. When we picked up the keys, the guy was a little unfriendly. It would be nice to have access to a hot tub..
- Xanthe (8/5): Great - The bed and pull out couch bed were truely awful. Soooo uncomfortable I would ask for a different unit next time.
The shower head it too narrow and needs replacing.
- Stuart (7/5): Well located for skiing but having to pay for parking is a bit much. - The apartment is very close to the ski slope so could almost be described as ski in and ski out. It was also conveniently located for the free bus. Bed very comfortable and nice shower although it it over a bath. Did not like to have to pay for parking. Shortage of cups and plates. Some neighbours were noisy.
- Mamlas73 (8/5): Very good - Was a very nice place to stay Can't be helped but people upstairs were stomping around at all times of day and night, sounded like they were in ski boots the whole time.
- Randy (7/5): Good - Good location close to Whistler Village The property we were assigned was located in Lagoons at Stony Creek. There are no common amenities with this property (i.e. gym, pool, hot tubs, saunas). Some individual units had their own hot tubs, so be sure to verify what amenities are associated with your unit, as ours had none. Mid-week refresh of towels did not occur.
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Carol (9/5): it was a very convenient place for a family with 2 babies and grandparents - set up
2 bedrooms upstairs and a pull out couch was excellent
- Adele (3/5): Would not book with Whistler Superior Properties again. - Kitchen, two bathrooms and easy walk to bus stop for ski lifts and walk to local supermarket Stayed at Granite Court #206, what a DUMP. Upon opening the door you are greeted by a coat cupboard with broken doors (first impression!),the sofa lounge cushions were torn but don’t flip them over as the other sides are stained. The duvet for the sofa bed didn’t have a cover on it, got one from reception from the Target 1983 Winter Collection! The kitchen has an oven, but no baking trays to cook with and dirty pots of in the cupboard. The master bed is so old it creaked at every movement and my husband and I couldn’t sleep in it together as the lumpy mattress rolled into the middle. The spare room has two single beds which were ok except for the dirty used Band-Aid’s on the bedside table. Most of the linen was stained and we had bath towels which had holes in them. This property needs improvements and is far from superior.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Todd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eric (9/5): Superb -
- Louise (8/5): Comfortable and easy place to stay - Apartment we were assigned ended up being in an incredibly convenient location for a race we were here for. I also really liked using access codes rather than having to worry about keys or swipe cards. It was good that there was underground parking too even if you had to pay for it ( about $16 or 17 per 24hrs). We mostly left the car and walked to the village and supermarket when we needed to.
Check in was smooth too and I liked that they reminded me to come to the office a few days before my booking started It was mostly good, just a few minor irritations - There were no sharp knives for chopping vegetables and the hairdryer didn't work.
- Neil (9/5): Nice place in a beautiful location - well appointed, nice furnishing, comfy bed, good kitchen & very clean taped on air con exhaust kept falling off window. it’s a bit of a trek from Whistler properties office to appartments. you need a taxi
- Joel (5/5): Passable -
- Andriy (8/5): - Good.
- Sonnette (8/5): - Long stairs if you have bad knees
- Laura (2/5): - Not happy about this property
This unit has numerous issues
The gas fire place leaks gas we woke to a strong smell of gas this morning I called the emergency line talked to someone they said someone would call us but they didn't thats very poor. Luckily we slept with the bedroom door closed and the windows open a bit.
The bathtub drains very slowly because it's clogged with hair it's been like that since the first night
The coffee machine still had and old coffee bag in it and the light bulb in the lamp beside the couch is burnt out.
Almost being gassed is really bad. Also kitchen utensils are poor not enough utensils have to wash them each time you use them. Not impressed I travel a lot this is substandard
- Laurinda (6/5): - Condo is run down. We stayed for 6 nights and we specifically booked a place with a hot tub to relax end of each ski day. To our disappointment, the pool/hot tub was closed for renovation and we were not notified ahead of time. Staff didn't know about it even at the point of check-in. Then we were trying to fill up water in the bath tub to at least dip our legs, but the stopper never worked and water kept draining away :( It was very frustrating. None of the sink stopper worked either, the water kept draining away and we couldn't hand-wash a few small items :(
Only good thing about the condo is the space and it's within a short walking distance to the gondola. But with the disappointment and frustration, we wouldn't stay here again.
- Maryam (10/5): pleasant stay :))))) - I stayed @ Whistler Superior Properties for 3 nights, the total atmosphere was really pleasant really felt like home, it was so close to Whistler village and Whistler market, the property had TV, kitchen with all required items, living room was so cozy and clean and they had such a friendly and welcoming interior design that you felt like you are at you relative's, the garden was looking nice, me and my friend really enjoyed our stay.
I usually take long bath or shower, just be mindful of that.
- Marius (10/5): - We had a great time staying here at Symphony units. There was a problem at the check in and instead 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom unit, we received a townhouse with 2 bed and 3 bathrooms which we loved it a lot. It was too big for us though. We had the surprise to get the parking free under the building. The unit was very clean, we had anything we needed to make our stay pleasant (towels, toiletries, kitchen utensils, full kitchen availability etc). We are sure that the 1 bed and 1 bath would have had the same conditions. Outside the building there is a hot tub which we didn't use since we weren't prepared with bathing suits (we did not know that this will be available). The unit is very close to the Marketplace shopping center, Tim Hortons, restaurants. We felt like home and we gladly recommend this property to anyone.
- rob (10/5): - This was a Strata residence and very well kept! My suite was super clean and was outfitted with everything I needed. Parking was a bit of a challenge park then go upstairs to the lobby and pay and then go back and put the ticket on the car dash (wifi to it was slow and caused other problems) other than that this is an excellent property.
- Sean (8/5): - This is a well-located property and has good space.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I went to leave and had a parking ticket for 55.00 which i don't understand. You hive me a code to get into the parking area and i psy to stay there, why shouldn't i be parking there? Not happy about this at all..
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, well equipped for all our needs. Good location. Paid underground secure parking.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This was such a good find. Within walking distance of everything while being just removed enough to be quiet at night. Tidy, no frills accommodations with everything you need for an extended stay. Will be back!
- Tiffany (2/5): - The property itself is pretty good, a little run down but on the golf course and out of the village so nice and quiet. We saw bears in the backyard which was the highlight of the trip. A short bike ride will get you to Lost lake which we loved...HOWEVER....
The unit we had was full of mouse droppings. In the drawers and cupboards of the kitchen.
Not something I was expecting but being in the mountains we were told by the property that it could happen. I was disgusted and spent an entire Saturday cleaning the unit. The management property was hesitant to offer us a full refund. It gave us two nights back as a refund telling me they had to pay a lot of money to advertise on Expedia and the owners of the property wouldn’t be happy if they didn’t receive any money for our stay so that turned me off of ever renting with these guys again. I had very detailed videos of the mouse activity I was able to send the property management but I had a feeling if i didn’t have those videos I would have been told another story.....Maybe just our experience....but also beware that the walls are VERY thin so if you have renters beside or below you that are in Whistler to party, like we did, you will be up at all hours hearing every single movement.
I rent with and through Expedia A LOT and this was probably one of the worst experiences in my opinion. The property like I said is still okay, our unit was dirty but the overall location was still nice
- Verified traveler (6/5): - There was no A/C so it was very hot. The instructions regarding wifi and parking were very confusing.
- Frank (10/5): - I liked everything, just a nice 15 minute walk to everything
- Mario (8/5): - The suite was great, lots of kitchen utensils, spacious living room and dining. And across the street to the market and close to Whistler Village. The suite is dated but the owner has maintained the contents, which are cleaning and working. The Jacuzzi was too noisy for me to turn on. I would stay in the unit again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location, nice big apartment with everything you need
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Room was run down and had an odor of ethnic food
- Terra (6/5): Nice Stay - The check in process after hours in not very friendly but once you get checked in it goes smoothly. Parking is very close to the condo. Condo was clean and if your not in shape this condo is not for you. Alot of stairs. But we liked the lay out. Bedroom is away from the bathroom and living area. which was fine for us. The stay was nice.
- Karthik (6/5): - It was an okay place except for the cleanliness of the garage.
- Stephanie (10/5): Home away from home - I had an amazing time in Whistler and really enjoyed my stay in this condo. It was cozy and relaxing all around, with an electric fireplace, kitchen, living and dining room areas, pretty view of the snow outside, and a jacuzzi tub. Plus I had access to the shared outdoor hot tub and pool which was very nice after cold days of walking around the village. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Price for this condo was about the same as what I have paid for a small hotel room elsewhere so very good value in getting a lot for what you pay for. There is even free garage parking, and since the property is right across from the village, you don't have to drive anywhere! Would highly recommend!
- Dagmara (10/5): Peaceful Condo Off the Beaten Path - Loved our little home! Super clean, great amenities and helpful staff. We were a bit further out than I had anticipated. There's a winding road up to the units that doesn't have a sidewalk, so we had to trek up the gravel path. It was 11pm when we arrived and pitch black, so that first walk up was quite the experience. Next time we'll bring a car or ask for a unit in town. Otherwise - it was perfect! We were sad to leave. We will definitely be booking with Whistler Superior Properties again.
- Elana (10/5): quiet remote place - We were in Cedar Hollow 9. This is a 1 bedroom.
Pros: The unit is beautiful in a picturesque setting, very quiet, facing into trees, with gas fireplace, jet tab, clean, modern appliances, warm at night.
Cons: A bit remote in terms of access; the sofa bed, in case you are more than 2, has a multitude of springs strategically positioned to remind your back of their existence; there is a smallish hot water tank, in case you are planning to use the bath or take too many showers at once.
- Jean-Marc (4/5): - Not sure what happens if you lose your access code after 10pm since office is closed!
Bathroom sinks delaminating and cracked. All finishes are lowest quality. Cutting Board was too dirty. Dishwasher instructions require reading as operation is not intuitive. Gas fireplace and 2 large flat screen TV'S were nice.
- Nancy (6/5): Sunpath #8 - Although the location of this unit is great there are a couple of recommendations that we would have for the owners. Firstly, please replace the bed. We had difficulty sleeping and woke up with sore backs every morning. The second recommendation is to have a window screen placed in the bedroom window so that the room can be cooled down without the fear of bugs coming in. Lastly, the blinds in the dining area need to be repaired or replaced. It would have been lovely to have been able to open them while we ate.
