As a part of our commitment to enhance our resort and elevate guest experiences, Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta is currently transforming our guest rooms into fresh contemporary design. We have several works ongoing in limited part of the building and guest elevators. The swimming pool area and other recreational facilities will remain open for guests’ use, however intermittent noise may be experienced. Please rest assured that every effort will be made to minimize any inconvenience during this time and any noisy work will be limited to Mondays to Sundays, from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
Early check in starting from 09:01 until 14:00 will incur nominal additional charge at 25% from the standard room rate.
Early check in starting from 6:01 until 09:00 WIB will be charged 50% from the standard room rates.
Early check in before 6:00 will be charged the full 1-night room rate.

- primadah2026 (10/5): Perfect Getaway at Hyatt Regency Jogja - My partner and I stayed at Hyatt Regency Jogja for 2 weeks, and honestly, we had such a great time. The place is beautiful and super peaceful, but there’s also plenty to do around the resort so we never got bored. We spent most of our days cycling around, hanging by the pool, eating good food, and just relaxing with all the greenery around us. It really felt like a proper little getaway. One of the best parts was definitely the people. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, from the reception staff to the restaurant and housekeeping team. You could really feel that they cared about making guests feel comfortable, not just doing the bare minimum. The food was amazing too. Definitely try the Tomahawk Chef’s Table dinner if you get the chance, it was seriously one of the highlights of our stay. We were also really happy to get upgraded to one of their newly renovated premier rooms, which made everything even nicer. What made us appreciate the hotel even more was what happened after we checked out. I accidentally left a pair of jeans behind, and the team was incredibly helpful in getting them sent back to us. Big thanks to the housekeeping team, especially Sari, for being so kind and helpful about it. Would totally recommend Hyatt Regency Jogja if you’re looking for a chill and relaxing stay in Jogja. Definitely one of those places that makes you want to come back again.

The politeness of the staff, everyone from the reception, to the wait staff, cooks behind the line, the house keeping staff all the way to the photo staff. Everyone was attentive and we're going above and beyond to make our stay most comfortable. The Host Peni was the name to stand out. Well, I don't know why, but the internet was going on and off constantly. Even at night when it should be ok. I liked the fact they had coverage on the internet on every part of the hotel, but unstable.

The Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta is exactly that, and it is entirely because of its people. Fitry checked in on us regularly throughout our 21 nights to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. In the Hyatt Lounge, Mel was always available whenever we needed anything, Calvin's warmth and smile were infectious and he went above and beyond helping us organize our sunrise trip to Borobudur, Manda delighted us with beautifully crafted local dishes, and Amanda seemed to be everywhere at once — always smiling, always helping. At breakfast, Peni, Sri, Azalika, Ifran, and Leo had our coffee, juice, and breakfast order memorized within days. Every morning felt like sitting down with friends. Housekeeping was outstanding. Wulan (apologies if misspelled!) thoughtfully brought our clothes inside when it began to rain, and Tian made sure we always had plenty of water and coffee. We stayed 21 nights and wished it could have been longer. We will absolutely be back. Please pass our warmest thanks to the entire team — you are all the heart of this hotel

The stay truly exceeded expectations, especially in terms of cleanliness, food quality, and attention to detail. I came for a work meeting, and everything went very smoothly. Ms. Novia/Novi (if I remember correctly), the Event Concierge Team Leader, was very helpful, friendly, and responsive. She made sure everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to fully focus on our meeting without any concerns.

The pool can fit a lot of people and there's access to wellness facilities. The rooms are tidied up very neatly every day. A lot of rooms are still under renovation, so we had to upgrade for a modern one.

Location is a bit out of town, but it also means you can enjoy the facilities of the hotel, including the pool and amazing breakfast. That we had to pay extra to get a new room was a bit strange. House keeping schedule was a bit messy but they managed in the end.

- bonyl2013 (10/5): If you like outdoor activities Hyatt Regency is the best in Yogyakarta - Green, lush, full of activities for kids. Our favorite were fishing and fish feeding. Hotel is well maintained even though a bit old. We booked the newly renovated room. A bit smaller than we expected but it's nice and clean. Breakfast was good but not as many variety like Tentrem. Service is top notch. Tennis court is free for two hours per day per room but booking is essential.

- vonnyi2015 (10/5): Lovestruck - 20 years ago when I came to Hyatt I was mesmerized, that time I didnt stay overnight just for an hour visit with my boss when I still working at a travel agency. The hotel back then was grandeur (and still is) and I was lovestruck. Now I have a chance to stay 1 night with my family. From the moment we step in the lobby, the greeter greeted us with a jasmine necklace and a beat of gamelan. The check in was smooth, the receptionist right away asked us to sit while they prepare our room key. One of the receptionist came and explained us the facilities around the hotel. The hotel have a ton of traditional games for us to try for free. The second receptionist Ms Jessica gave us our room key, and a little surprise they upgraded our room for free and they gave us an extra bed although our booking for 3 persons in Agoda didnt said anything about an extra bed. Thank You Hyatt for caring for your guests , we can sleep comfortably and soundly. In around 4pm we took our stroll around the hotel and borrow a free bicycles to ride around the golf course. They also provides a scooter for idr 20.000 for 15 minutes

- Curious37505494487 (10/5): Unforgettable moment in one of the oldest luxurious hotel in Yogyakarta - Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta is considered one of the oldest of luxurious hotel in Yogya. They seriously gave us one of the best hospitality and experience from the moment we get off our car when we arrived at the Hotel. The staff gave us a very detail information regarding the Hotel map and facilities (which is needed because they have a alot of attractions available in the very large Hotel land), then escorted us until we reach our room. The restaurant has a very good ambience and scenery, overlooking part of the swimming pool, with lot of trees which are beautifully illuminated during the night. All of the foods we've tried at the restaurant are of good qualities with amazing taste, genorous portion, and very appropriate prize. This Hotel is also a kid friendly hotel. We've tried riding a bicycle around the Hotel, and swam in the very large pool. Overall it was such an incredible stay and we can't wait to go back here in some other time if we were to be back to Yogyakarta again.

Front desk was very attentive & responsive, housekeeping was efficient ( and friendly ) getting our laundry done, and the restaurant was great - nice name recognition✅ Thanks! The architecture and grounds of the hotel are incredible. The hotel organized a private yoga session & a lovely half day tour to the palace and Prambanan temple ( with the heat, a half day was great - morning). The rooms are a little dated ( shower/bath combinations are never good) but room was clean and bed comfortable with a nice terrace. We used the restaurant for both evenings and it was good - some nice Indonesian dishes to try with good guidance from the staff. Thanks team Hyatt for a memorable stay.

Staying across 5 different hotels ranging from 5 star to 2 star, this was the most expensive hotel and also the most horrible. - At the entrance, there was a bad sewage like odor. We excused this since the property is undergoing renovation. - The room was dated. We were ok with this too. - SMOKERS PARADISE: The whole hotel is a smoking zone. In the kemangi bistro, they allow guests to smoke even in non smoking areas. Bogeys terrace is also a full smoking zone. Smoking poolside is also allowed. If you travel with a baby, you can be happy staying indoors - as told by the staff to us. - Discriminative staff: We were not informed about the CNY dinner and were told we cannot eat in kemangi bistro (the only indoor non smoking option). They served dinner instead in the lobby. Imagine eating dinner in the front lobby of the hotel. - CNY dinner was so noisy and went on till 9pm. We couldn't use the room. We put our baby to sleep in the corridor instead. Imagine paying 200$ and using the common walkway leading to the room to put baby to sleep. (Proof see photo) - CLUB access: this is a sham. No food available. Just biscuits and coffee/tea. Our 1 year old baby was not allowed to even go inside the club. Family unfriendly property.

- NickH486 (10/5): Beautiful setting, amazing staff - Hyatt Yogya is set in the most beautiful grounds I have seen- smooth lawns, beautiful landscaped gardens, old stone temples and sculptures and the structure of the hotel itself all amazing. Staff were helpful, kind and smiling at all times. Our needs (switching rooms 3 times until we were happy) were dealt with without any hint of inconvenience from the staff- in fact they apologised for having to return to reception to check availability. Food was a little average at times- but we also enjoyed very delicious dishes at breakfast and dinner so it depends what you choose.

We was travelling for business and can't enjoy the leisure areas, but I was very impressed and satisfied with the quality and diversity of the buffet, the nice and care of the staff. I'm still smelling Hyat, as since we arrived, they gave is a flower collar. On departure, they asked me if I want them to ask a taxi to me and also, if they leave something, they offered to send to our colleagues, that organized the meeting. The decoration was incredible!

The spa is ok not so great but their massage was really great especially Javanese massage. I think their spa are good in massage. But for basic pedicure and manicure, facial, hair saloon it was ok for refreshing ur mind and body. And it’s not expensive. And their swimming pool is so satisfying especially for who ever go for family vacation. My kids really hv fun in the swimming pool. They hv slide and big swimming pool. They also provide the jacuzzi and sauna for free! But need to keep the maintenance abit more efficient though but its not so bad. I would love to stay there again!
- moragg188 (10/5): If you want to be treated like royalty..... - I organised a project meeting at the Hyatt Regency and would highly recommend this venue if it fits within your budget. The facilities, catering and accommodation are superb. Staff are patient, courteous and eager to assist. We had a meeting room booked for day 2. On day 1 we decided we needed a small meeting room for preparations and that was organised very quickly. I made numerous changes to the room bookings in the 2 weeks before our arrival due to changes in colleague's travel plans and these changes were all accommodated without complaint. I am keen to return for a holiday.
