- Federico (9/5): Overall my stay was as expected. Quiet, secure, affordable and pretty much clean. No bugs . - No coffee machine, but the owner hooked it up with some from the office. Secured well by the owner, knew as soon as I called for the reservation confirmation. Update to a lively paint
- William (6/5): -
- Mario (7/5): -
- Kathy Rae (5/5): I could sleep. - It was conveniently located. The room was shabby, I saw cockroaches in the morning, the location was noisy.
- Richard (7/5): -
- Jacqueline (5/5): -
- Amadie (10/5): -
- Valerie (5/5): - The room was a good size for us Well you get what you pay for if you just need a place for the night this is the spot. Also close to downtown long beach so easy to commute for us.
- tia (7/5): Desert place has smoking and non smoking - It was comfortable and quiet. Owners are very nice The open closet kinda creeped me out. Small but enough room for one person
- MICHAEL (8/5): - Spent 3 nights
Great friendly service
Comfortable king bed
Shower / TV works well
Budget accommodation was suitable for us
Thank You
- latrice (4/5): Horrible - The location The bathroom
- Joshua (8/5): - Good place for
- Gage (10/5): Low cost option close to the action - If you are looking for a simple room thats low cost but still clean and safe, then Travel Eagle is perfect. The owner is a really nice guy and keeps his business clean and safe. He has multiple cameras set up so you know you stuff is safe while you are out enjoying your trip. Dont let the location or other review fool you. This place was really nice and worth it. If i go back to LBC my stay will be at the Travel Eagle.
- Jonathan (8/5): - It was nice and quiet
Owners were very polite and accommodating
- Craig (6/5): - Area doesn’t feel safe and parking is very limited
- Jessica (4/5): - Musty smell, fruit flys, the bed was so hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. Woke up stiff every morning. Stayed for the Veterinary conference. Will do better research next time
- Fatu (3/5): Poor -
- Laura (6/5): - Pros: owners are very nice, property and rooms are clean, price is good. Good microwave and fridge and the bed didn't hurt my back. Near the freeway.
Cons: very old, dated rooms. Crumbling paint and stains on the walls. Only 1 outlet was usable in my room they are so old.
This is a bare bones place and if you just need to sleep and shower and store your stuff it gets the job done.
- Roger (1/5): A place to stay for one night, but bathroom was dirty. - The staff was great. Dirty. Mold in the bathroom, towels and wash rags were very old.
- majorie (10/5): - close to weekend work in Long Beach.
- Miller (9/5): Superb -
- Erica (10/5): Exceptional - No breakfast Area
- Miller (9/5): Fantastic - Love this place
- L9ve (7/5): Good -
- Fatu (3/5): Poor - I just need if I don’t have a place to go It’s very small even the parking lot too
- Paul (6/5): "It was a place to stay", but I would not recommend it to anyone I know. - There was no breakfast or food of any kind available! This room was a handicap room!!! That wasn't explained in the offering nor would I've accepted it if I knew in-advance. Secondly, it was definitely not in the "best" part of town, but thankfully, nothing happened.
- Oddie (2/5): View the room before you pay, as it might not be somewhere you feel comfortable staying. - Location was pretty good. We didn’t stay there, even though we lost the full cost. The room was tiny and all the things inside it appeared to be worn out and very cheap. The exterior reeked of marijuana and some of the guests looked pretty sketchy
- Christopher (7/5): Good -
- Tristan (4/5): - Worst sleep ever, room smelled of cigarettes. We were sharing a tiny blanket on dirty sheets. No extra pillows or blankets all around was just kind of an awful experience
- Raul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brandon (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was good except for the bed the bed was so hard you couldn't sleep it The bed
- Erica (10/5): Exceptional - No noise
- Chi (7/5): Good - The staff were friendly and helpful.
- Vavau (7/5): Good -
- Tia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Slept well and good shower - Clean and friendly service
- Jacqueline (6/5): - Very old building
- Rosemarie (10/5): Exceptional - From check in to check out, the staff was very welcoming and kind. My room was impressively clean with a big bed to rest on at night. I’d highly recommend it to anybody looking for a nice cozy stay while on a budget.
- Luis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (8/5): - Property was clean, but a little worn. The free parking was great, and overall a good stay for the price.
- Nayak (7/5): Good - Plug point should have been near bed.
- Jones (9/5): good job - cool place nothing
- Aifesuwa (7/5): Good -
- Joy (10/5): Will stay again - We felt very comfortable and safe
- Yasser (10/5): Exceptional -

- Diana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeff (6/5): Pleasant -
- Susana (8/5): - Nice and clean
- Robert (10/5): - Everything went well Bed was comfortable Room was nice enough
- Christina (5/5): We were on a budget. The room was okay for the price but to sleep and hardly be there! - The bed, it was comfy. The location was really bad. It was next door a sex shop and liquor store. At night we had some real sketchy people approach us inappropriately. It was scary.
- Cristina (2/5): I would never stay here again. - There was nothing special provided at this location like a breakfast. The parking was close to the room which was nice to unload my things. Checking in was quick and easy as well as checking out (though it was annoying to be called 30 minutes before as we're packing the car and asked "Are you staying or no?"). It wasn't the absolute worst room I've ever been in. There were no bugs. The room was so much smaller than I imagined with furniture squeezed in (a bed, table, one night stand, two chairs, a mini fridge, and the tv). It was very claustrophobic. The bathroom was big but they did not provide any soap or anything for washing your hands let alone the little shampoo and conditioners. We got two "big" towels, two hand towels, and two wash clothes. We stayed two days and no one ever came in and cleaned and we were not provided with clean towels. When we got back from our festival we had to go and ask for towels at almost 11pm. It's right off the freeway so you can hear cars, motorcycles, etc, all night though I'll give that the location is obvious when you book it. I got a nonsmoking room that smelled like cigarettes when I walked in and there were two burn holes in the sheets on the bed. I was never given a wifi password though they advertised free wifi. I did not reach out for the wifi password though. When I checked in she asked who was in the room and I told her me and my baby who was with me, and my fiance who would be joining later. I asked if she needed the license plate numbers or if we needed any passes for the cars and she said no. My fiance got in late after work and parked and unloaded his things. He said they were watching him the whole time and after he was in the room for ten minutes helping me put our fussy baby down (we had just gotten him to sleep) the woman called telling me he couldn't park there. I told her I had a sleeping baby and that I had also made it apparent earlier he would be here. She continued to repeat one car per room and when I asked her where he could park she said on the street. I hung up with her. The next night when we got back from our festival our room key wouldn't work, so I had to go have her redo it. She smirked at me which I thought was weird but whatever, and later my fiance said she seemed like she was laughing at him when he asked for the towels.
- Kenneth (10/5): - Very small, which made for easy in and out parking
- Tina (4/5): Disappointing - No air cond no tv work and in the morning they had the nerve to come to the room and demand I leave at 10 aclock on the dot I said I'm coming out the man pretending he's keeping my deposit
- Mary (6/5): - Nice people, needs the bathrooms renovations and needs new table and chairs. Closet hanging clothes needs new paint. Needs more sides tables. Please needs better pictures in the wall.
- Lautaro (7/5): Cheap price nice staying - Good cheap public transportation to downtown with bus stop near.
- Valerie (8/5): Very good -
- Alex (4/5): - Basic room, didnt feel welcoming. Shower was amazing though. Very cheap so good option for a one off. Wouldnt travel here with family or stay for an extended period time though.
- Madison (9/5): Superb - Great property for price point and in a good location. Staff was very pleasant
- Dandrea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Collins (6/5): Pleasant - Staff not friendly. We arrived an hour earlier than the check in time. They did not allow us to check-in unless we pay $15USD extra.
- Sven Bertil (8/5): - The TV in the room did not work the first night - but it was fixed the next day. The owners moved their own car to make room for mine when the parking lot was full one night.
- Franzena (6/5): Pleasant -
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Looks were deceiving, upon arrival thought oh my goodness where did we book but rooms are nice and clean. Beds comfy. Let us check in early with a 20.00 checkin fee since traveling 13 hours to get there. Kind of a sketchy looking area but felt safe and was very close to the Long Beach Cruise Terminal. Would stay again.
- Elisa (9/5): Superb - I like how friendly owner is. I was comfortable on the bed.
- Misuna (7/5): Good -
- Clifford (10/5): Exceptional - Bed
- D (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (8/5): Very good -
- Delores (10/5): Exceptional -
- Reginald (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wayne (10/5): - Friendly staff, very helpful.
- Mba (8/5): Very good - Great and affordable.
- Karina (1/5): Bad -
- Gracie (5/5): Not Worth the Price - I like the proximity to food, gas, and the aiport. The bed wasn't very comfortable. The cable box had fallen behind the TV and you had to get up to turn the channels.
- Esther (8/5): - Hotel was conveniently located for our purposes. Downside no restaurants nearby. Room had been remodeled and was quiet.
- Lupita (7/5): Good -
- Nomadicnik (7/5): Good little motel near downtown Long Beach for a quick stay at a great price. - The value for one night was great for what we needed. Attended an event at the Queen Mary and the Uber from the hotel was less than 10$ one way which was great. The ac/heater worked great. The check in process was great and there was no deposit needed which was a big selling point for someone on a budget. Parking was great too as the lot did not get very full at all and easy in and out. The area seemed a little sketchy, but had no issues.
The bed was a little stiff, and the sheets/comforter weren’t the most comfortable. Bring an extra blanket or sheet.
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Derrick (5/5): …… - Bed Bed
- Hersh (6/5): - An okay place to stay is you are in a budget. The look of the motel from the outside will probably give you second thoughts but inside is not bad. Since I was only looking for one night stay and nothing more, this place worked out okay for me. The check in office service was fine.
- Oliver (9/5): Superb -
- miguel (10/5): - Good
- Anonymous (8/5): very relaxing and comfortable - location sometimes the door was hard to enter
- Hermelinda (9/5): Superb -
- Estefani (10/5): - Good for price
- Emily (8/5): Very good - Room is clean and most especially the bathroom N/a
- Eleanor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Delores (10/5): Exceptional -
- Delores (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shimmat (9/5): Superb -
- Annika (8/5): - We called the staff ahead of time and they were nice enough to keep our bags until cjrck in but it wasn't thr nicest place I have stayed in
- Patricia (1/5): Bad - Nothing The area it was located leaves a lot to be desired. Anybody can just walk in. The place is dirty and is lacking even the basic hygiene - doubt if the beds has been changed. I couldn't get away quick enough.
- Sergio (9/5): Superb -
- Dynel (7/5): Good -
- Tobias (1/5): Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy - Nothing Dirty. Dirty. Infested with bugs.
