Excellent breakfast and the staff were absolutely great. Lack of air conditioning could be an issue in summer but it was find in a cool May.

Denis (10/5): Emplacement de rêve à l’Ile de Ré - L’emplacement est parfait à St Martin de Ré. Le port et le centre et les restaurants sont à 5 minutes à peine. L’hôtel est au calme en bout de village et du port. Il est accessible en voiture après avoir passé une borne qui limite l’accès à la zone piétonne. Hors saison le parking est ainsi aisé et assuré Le coin piscine et petit déjeuner est calme, abrité, joli et accueillant. Le personnel est souriant. L’hôtel propose à la location des vélos électriques neufs et très agréables (avril 2026] Quelques menus défauts d’insonorisation entre les étages via les salles de bain. Rien de grave.

Wizpunzel (9/5): Lovely hotel in quiet, central location - Excellent, quiet location, facing the ocean, but still in the town centre, just a few metres' walk from the harbour, shops and restaurants. Spotlessly clean, good breakfast, private parking. The bed was a little too firm for me, but my partner was fine. A lot of steps up and down to reach the dining room for breakfast. Forgive us, we're in our 70s. Basement parking a little tricky for larger vehicles.
