LA RECEPCION TAMBIEN ES UN LUGAR PADRE POR QUE TIENE COSAS ANTIGUAS. LAMEN TABLEMENTE LA CONEXION AL WIFI NO LLEGABA A MI HABITACION SOLO AGARRABA EN EL AREA DE LA ALBERCA, EN EL ARMARIO NO HABIA LUZ.
• mejia rojas (9/5): Buen ambiente familiar - La alberca, el personal, limpieza, cercanía playa privada (no tanto las piedritas del piso de la playa, pero es playa solo para huéspedes no es liza), los peces que se veían en el andador y la vista nocturna del mar y el cielo. Los precios restaurant y la cantidad de comida cantidad/precio no cuadraban. Los colchones tal vez sea porque estaba en el área económica pero les hace falta cambiarlos están viejitos incómodos. Faltó música ambientadora en alberca.

• Jose De Jesus (10/5): las mejores vacaciones en guaymas sonora es en el Playa mar de cortez y no san carlos. - la verdad me gusta por que es un hotel que tiene mas de un siglo si no es que menos tiempo, sus muebles son del tipo rustico antiguo que tal vez en su tiempo eran de moda, para mi punto de vista hacen sentir como si uno estuviera en los 50s, me encanta este hotel!! si eres una persona que te gusta lo sofisticado pasa de largo, si te gusta lo vintage, pero realmente vintage, en este hotel con su historia y su decoración es lo tuyo. te gusta la pesca en el muelle te permiten pescar . todo me gusto no hay nada que no me gustara, desde el restaurant, hasta las instalaciones.

• Rebeca (7/5): Bien, pero puede mejorar. - Lo que me gusta de este hotel es que puedes pasar una tarde-noche agradable a la orilla del mar y tiene un pequeño muelle. Es antiguo, las camas no son buenas y el aire acondicionado hace mucho ruido, en general hace falta mucho mantenimiento. Los atardeceres son hermosos, pero no te puedes meter al mar porque el agua está estancada, hay muchas piedras y sargazo.

• Carlos Nuñez (5/5): - Me gustaron las vistas al mar, se toman muy buenas fotografías en el atardecer y el hotel es Colonial completamente, los techos son altos y las puertas muy antiguas, es ideal si tu tipo de destino es no ir a descansar al hotel si no estar fuera. La habitación era sumamente caliente, la iluminación dependía del foco de un abanico, la cama era mas dura que el piso, en el baño no había agua caliente, las almohadas dejaban mucho que desear, si buscas descansar sus habitaciones no son para ese propósito, el internet bastante malo y todo se siente viejo.

Deberían presumir más la historia del hotel. Un escándalo con música en la alberca, la llave de la puerta se desprogramo 4 veces.

• Mark (8/5): I like the privacy where off the beaten path. There’s no vendors hassling you to buy their wear. - I like that we’re right on the beach. I wish the shoreline had more sand. The property is 90 years old and it’s showing its age. The grass needs mowed. The maintenance has been neglected.
• Scott (8/5): It is a good value for the money and generally peaceful place to stay. - I like the location, waterfront and General peacefulness. Some of the staff speak English which was helpful. I like the old world charm of the place. Every night the card lock on my door had to be looked at by maintenance. Who just reprogrammed it each time instead of dealing with the internal issue. On the last night, the maintenance person took the lock apart and apparently fixed the issue. There was a wedding on the property one day and they played loud music that thumped through the walls well into the night. This made it difficult to sleep.

• BABILONIA (7/5): Regular - Muy rica la comida, la vista, y las instalaciones exteriores No hay camastros, hay sillas muy incómodas en el exterior, no había toallas de alberca y no querían prestarnos mas toallas.

Having said that, the property grounds are a great subject for stunning photography if you know where to look. This hotel is well past its prime and it shows. The structure itself is rundown, almost dilapidated in some spots. The amenities are lacking to put it nicely.

• ABEL (4/5): Decepcionado - La chapa del cuarto no se servía no se ocupaba la llave para entrar se abría sin llave. No había agua caliente . La TV no hay internet y no se puede ver nada porque es TV Roku. El aire acondicionado tirando muchísimo hielo.

• Aleko (8/5): areas de oportunidad a considerar - en si el hotel es muy bonito...la ubicacion provilegiada soloq ue las instalciones ya estan deterioradas, en nuestra habitacion batallamos mucho con la luz, el barandar de nuestra terraza estaba por caerse literalmente...la television muy pequeña respecto a la camida esta estaba sin sabor...cenamos y desayuamos en las instalaciones y la verdad queda a deber el sabor y el precio bastante alto

Las almohadas en los cuartos no son confortables y no hay un parquecito para los niños, para cuando sea de noche y ya estén bañados y cambiados. Se quedan aburridos de noche pq no hay una distracción además del carrusel.

• Kennedy (7/5): Good - It was a great and relaxing place, very big and beautiful. I would love to visit again. The price was fair because of the discount we got. Beds are a little hard. Toilet seat was crooked. The pool water was clean but the pool itself is very dirty with slime and algae. The place needs remodeling but needs to keep the same "hacienda" look because it's very beautiful.

Had I not been mislead on the ocean access, I would have stayed somewhere else. - The hotel is large and beautifully designed, and the junior suite offered a stunning ocean view with convenient access to the nearby pier. Most of the staff were welcoming and friendly The advertised 'ocean access' is misleading—while you can walk along a small stretch of sand, the area is rocky, unclean, and not suitable for sunbathing or swimming. There’s no space to relax or set up on the beach. Additionally, the room key repeatedly deactivated, requiring frequent assistance to regain entry. The room itself was noticeably dusty, indicating inadequate cleaning rather than sand being tracked in.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Basura volando - La estadia y atencion todo muy bien, nos preocupo un poco la limpieza exterior, la basura que puede llegar al mar, haria mas carteles señalando cuidar el medio ambiente no tirando basura o agregando mas canastos de basureros, hacer enfasis a los visitantes que junten y tiren adecuadamente la basura.

Lamentablemente ninguna de las 2 noches que estuvimos ahí pudimos dormir , debido a nuestros vecinos de la habitación de arriba, al comunicarnos con recepción simplemente NO HICIERON NADA y su excusa fue que no podian hacer nada con ese tipo de situaciones, que era un hotel y que a eso iba la gente.! Erróneamente podria decirles que como yo, MUCHA GENTE VA A DESCARSAR, si tienen oportunidad de quedarse en este hotel, ahórrensela , hay hoteles más bonitos, más modernos y MUCHO MAS ECONOMICOS que este.!

• PDS_Tucson (10/5): Nice for a drink and a view - This is a nice place to visit if staying in San Carlos. The service at the bar was truly outstanding. After discussing several drink options with the Juan the bartender, we settled on a "Campechana" (blend of sweet and dry anisettes), and a wonderful blend of crean, Kahlua and Baileys. They brought us a complementary bowl of chips and fresh pico de gallo. We strolled the hotel grounds undisturbed and admired the old building with its historic photos and articles. A delightful spot for a brief visit.

• lizeth c (2/5): Mal estancia , demasiado ruido se escucha , viejo - Se escuchaba demasiado ruido de una tubería del baño, si hay evento deportivo no debería haber evento de boda porque es demasiado el ruido , todo se escucha, la gota del grifo , está muy descuidado y no sirvió el wifi nunca, la TV no sirvió . Demasiado ruido no pudimos descansar nada y teníamos evento 4 am
