Lorsque nous revenons 45min avant le check-in au cas-où, nous demandons si notre chambre est prête ; on nous dit que le check-in n'est pas encore ouvert, nous patientons donc dans le hall car il ne manquait que 30-45minutes et 10min après nous voyons qu'ils donnent une chambre à un couple alors qu'ils nous ont dit à nous qu'aucune n'était disponible et qu'il fallait attendre l'ouverture du check-in. Lorsque nous faisons la remarque, on nous répond que notre chambre était en fait prête. La personne m'a regardé et laissé porter tous mes bagages sans même me proposer d'aide, pas très serviable pour un hôtel comme celui-ci Rien de grave en soit, mais lorsque nous sommes fatigués du voyage et de la journée, cela est très irritant et décevant

• Bejal (2/5): Unpleasant wouldn’t recommend - We stayed at Hotel Gran Ms Kyoto for 4 nights as a group of 3 people sharing one room, and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. The room was extremely small, with barely any space to open or store our suitcases, which made the stay feel very cramped and uncomfortable. The biggest issue, however, was the cleanliness. As soon as we entered the room, we noticed a large amount of dust everywhere (shown in the attached photo). Considering that some of us suffer from asthma and eczema, this directly affected our health during the stay. We reported this to reception immediately. The receptionist came with a small portable hoover, but it barely removed any of the dust. Despite raising our concerns multiple times, the room was not properly cleaned until day 3 of our stay. We also had problems with the air conditioning. Because the room was so hot and cramped, we had no choice but to keep it on, but the unit was leaking and constantly making water/dripping noises throughout our stay. What made the experience worse was the lack of action taken regarding any of our concerns. We expected much better standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone with allergies, asthma, or anyone expecting a comfortable stay.

La habitación por lo general estaba limpia pero debajo de la cama y detrás de los muebles había un montón de polvo acumulado. No es por ser quisquillosa pero de verdad que el polvo era mucho. También es verdad que la habitacion, aunque era bastante grande, estaba un poco antigua, sobre todo el cuarto de baño.

Dårlige senger, kjøleskapet vårt funket ikke (dette ble dog byttet ut på dag 2), å vaske klær var kjempedyrt i forhold til alle andre plasser hvor det har vært gratis og vaskemaskinene + tørketrommelen var helt ubrukelige. Fjernet verken lukt, flekker og ville ikke tørke skikkelig. Vi måtte vaske og tørke flere ganger og endte opp med å bruke masse penger på dette. Ikke å anbefale

La taille est suffisante et vous avez quand même de la place. Le personne est très aimable et disponible. El personal es muy amable y te ayuda en lo que necesites, nos rellenaron todos los papeles para el envío de maletas asegurandose de que el hotel destino admitía esta opción. Las habitaciones están bastante bien de tamaño y muy limpias. Es un detalle que todos los días rellenen la nevera con dos botellas, se agradece un montón! Disponen de lavadora y secadora. No te avisan de que la habitación da a patio interior y no entraba nada de luz natural, lo cual resultaba incomodo y no nos gustó. Al estar en el centro, la calle era ruidosa e incluso a la tarde llegaba entrar olor a comida.

Although the rooms has a small fridge it is on a high temperature, i guess to save energy, which technically means there is no fridge in the room.

• Stephanie (9/5): Nice hotel, great location - I booked this place on fairly short notice and was not disappointed! The location of this hotel was really great, it was within walking distance of TONS of restaurants and things to do, and not too far from a train station. The staff was very friendly as well. The rooms were clean and the bathtub was huge! My only complaint would be that the room wasn't soundproof and due to it's central location I could hear quite a bit of noise from the street at night. It didn't keep me awake but something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to noise. It wouldn't stop me from staying here again though and overall a very nice hotel!

• Matthew (9/5): Very good hotel in a great location - Location is amazing, and the hotel is great. Next to the main shopping and hundreds of restaurants and bars Rooms are small but that's how they all seem to be in cities in Japan
