- Ruth (8/5): Very clean and comfortable - The room was extremely clean and the bed very comfortable. Jim was very accommodating, waiting for our late (8:30pm) arrival. We didn't have breakfast and were out for most of the day, only using the accommodation for sleeping.

- Carol (10/5): - This was a great guest house within walking distance of the lovely town of Malahide. We wanted to stay near the airport for an early flight the next morning and liked the idea of a charming local spot rather than those big, modern hotels at the airport. The restaurant in town had delicious seafood and our hosts in the B&B were gracious and accommodating. It was an easy 10-15 minute drive to the airport. By all means stay here !!

- Rory (10/5): - The Heatherview B&B is definitely the nicest bed-and-breakfast that I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was brand new and high-quality. You can tell that Jim and his wife have been doing this for sometime and truly take pride in their place. The bathroom floors are heated, the beds and all of the linens were brand new, high-quality toiletries. It’s also very convenient for forgetting to the airport, it’s literally less than 10 minutes away. Jim and his wife are so sweet, I forgot a piece of jewelry, and he literally drove it to me at the airport. I was blown away by their hospitality. I will definitely be staying there the next time I am in Ireland. Thank you again for everything! ☘️
- Mairead (4/5): - Very peculiar host. Unaware of personal space& quite obnoxious. Be aware that he told us that he only accepts cash- no card payments. This is quite unusual in modern times. We had to drive into a local village to find a bank machine& withdraw cash to pay. We didn’t opt for breakfast as we couldn’t wait to get out of there. On the positive, the room was clean and comfortable, although the decor was dated throughout the house.

It was in a great area, near the Castle grounds for walking and walked into town for dinner. What a great town it is! And the castle grounds are gorgeous for spending time outside. The B and B itself was great. En-suite bathrooms, and the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in in awhile. Jim, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful in planning my afternoon. I highly recommend this place!

This is a beautiful area, so make sure to do a tour at the castle and go to the beach. Very close to the car rentals near the airport. I expected it to be a little noisy with the airport nearby and being just off a busy road, but that wasn’t the case at all. Very quiet.

Ideally located near the Dublin Airport if you are flying into Dublin. Great things to visit in the area - including the castle and village. Great restaurants and pubs to visit for dinner. Close to the beach for a beautiful walk along the coast!

- Vishal (8/5): Good Homestay - Overall we enjoyed our stay at Heatherview B&B. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and the bed was good. The host was very helpful and gave us good advice on travelling to Dublin and shopping there. On the downside, the bathroom was very small - it was difficult to shower inside. The location is not great - not very close to the city or the airport. Theres a direct bus into the city but I would still recommend having a car if you plan to stay here. Lastly, I would have appreciated a little generosity from our host - we had brought in a microwavable sticky toffee pudding that we wanted to heat up in the kitchen but our host flatly refused.

I recommend the optional breakfasts, you won't find anything as good for the price. I was here on vacation and traveling by myself. I will come back and stay with my wife.
- Tamara (8/5): Heatherview - Jim was an incredible host and Heatherview was spotless and comfortable, although our room was very small. We did not realize that Heatherview was so far from the village of Malahide. We walked, but felt unsafe on the narrow sidewalk.

It was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable so we slept like logs. I was travelling with my Wife so found the room a little small for the price but it had everything we needed. Make sure to get the breakfast!
