- Ashley (10/5): - The staff was extremely gracious, welcoming and helpful. I cannot express enough how CLEAN this hotel is. They were cleaning morning, noon, and night. They were even cleaning the deceptive pillows the day we checked out. The beach and village are not even a 10 minute walk down the street. They puget a continental breakfast daily and 24/7 coffee in the lobby. Definitely a good find! Will stay again.

- Barbara (4/5): - The mattress covers in our suite were filthy. I went to turn down the sheets our first night there and saw the fitted sheet was loose, to find that the mattress cover had multiple stains, as I uncovered it more it just gets worse. I checked all the beds, trash fell from under the mattress the next mattress cover had black oil stains. The night staff just showed up to deliver new linens and left, no attempt to help us, no offers to remake the beds, even worse we asked them to take the dirty linens away. They said just leave them in the room on the floor. What!!? What is really disgusting is the beds, yes bed(s)more than one; bed was stained, and other mattresses stained with urine, were made and covered up! Poor management, poor customer service. The manager offer to discount our next stay. Thanks, but No thanks! No reimbursement. The Continental breakfast is prepacked garbage. It's despicable charging resort fees for less then prison accommodations. We cancelled our stay and found better accommodations.

I had some issue with the room and service but the front desk representative Kathi listened, explained and resolved my issues. Kudos to this employee for her superior customer service. They should value this employee.
- Amy (8/5): - Room is very basic, but clean. Our room was across from the ice machine station, which we heard all night. Having a coffee station in the lobby is a nice touch. Breakfast was mediocre. Some staff were friendly; others less so. It was basic and fine.

Next to a park, two blocks from beach and shopping. Quiet location. Nice indoor swimming pool and continental breakfast included. Dining room was clean and spacious. I would highly recommend this hotel. We enjoyed our stay and will be back .

The one thing I would improve at this property is the breakfast. It is nearly all carbohydrates. Very boring. Even the bagels come out of a package. It used to be so much better. All in all, I'm sure I will be back.It

- Kelsey (8/5): Our First Stay at Breakers - It was our first time staying here and overall we very much enjoyed our stay. Only a few blocks from the beach. Had a nice shuttle service from the hotel to the beach if you didnt want to walk. Location to town was perfect if we didnt want to drive and hunt/pay for parking. Great front desk service. We spoke several times with Kathi who was amazing, so friendly and welcoming.

So, you have to go to the front desk to procure moe shampoo, towels, toilet paper, etc. Shuttle service was good. TVs ought to be adjust so the picture fills the screen. Breakfast was just okay. Real coffee cups would be appreciated instead of paper.

The location is great, just 1 block from shopping and the lake, 2 blocks from the beach. I enjoyed the balcony and the free decaf coffee. The breakfast offerings were just okay, but that wasn't why I was there. The pool was nice.

All said the location was great and we would stay here again.

- Katelynn (6/5): - This certainly is a hotel! And that's about it -- a place to sleep and keep your stuff. The walkability is perfect, the beds are not very comfortable, but that's tolerable. The house keeping staff were great, polite and welcoming. But whoever works the front desk is one of the worst property managers I've ever dealt with. We went to her to report that a fellow guests sunroof on their vehicle was open and that they didn't have a hang tag visible as everyone else did. Instead of telling us she would look into it or try to find the owner, she scowled at us and said, "That's not my job. That's not my concern. Who cares if their sunroof is open?" If we had left our sunroof open, we'd have loved it if someone had alerted management to that for us. It was just a really vile interaction and it soured our experience here. We won't be staying here again next year after this. Everything else I could live with, but I won't tolerate that negativity and uncaring attitude. That's grim.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Not coming back next year - This year breakfast was awful—they had prepackaged muffins, bagels, cereal, no hot food. You had to ask staff to get yogurt from the back room if you wanted them. Last year they had a limited selection of hot food at least. The air conditioning was extremely loud. Only slept about 3-4 hours the first night because it kept waking me up. After that night, I had to use ear plugs to sleep.
- Kristen (6/5): Desperate need of updated rooms and decor - The hotel rooms are very out dated and are in dire need of some more modern furniture and decor. The location is good and a couole of blocks to the main street with shops and restaurants. It is a bit longer walk to the beach and boardwalk especially when carrying beach chairs, umbrella etc. The breakfast room was nice and clean, however full of carbs and qucik grabs. Protein and hot food would be nice. The parking is very difficult and tight for an SUV. A few times we opted to pay for parking on the street with no spots in the lot available for larger vehicles.

The hallways also smelled bad! The lobby was nice though, as was the continental breakfast. But we've stayed at less expensive hotels in this area with nicer rooms and more included ammenities. So we probably won"t stay here again.

The room was immaculate, with plenty of towels, a fridge, and a comfy bed. The room was very clean from top to bottom. Breakfast was simple, but very convenient. - Denise (2/5): - The room smells musty. The hotel front desk employee was rude, disrespectful and dismissive. There is rust in the bathroom. Stains on the ceiling from leaks. I tried to get a different and was denied. I so glad I am only here for one night.
- Aryah (2/5): - Terrible experience, we arrived and were greeted by the front desk lady, she was pleasant and gave us our parking pass and room key. We went up to our room, and were greated by a strong moldy, mildew smell and wet carpet. Went to the front desk and they sent the maintenence man, he opened the ac vent to expose a giant ice ball. The ac was completely frozen over and leaking onto the floor. They turn the ac to heat mode and brought fan, i went to the front desk to ask if they had any other rooms, the manager came out and started yelling, cursing, slamming her hands on the desk in the back yelling incoherent. The front desk just apologized as the manager went on a strange rampage. We put our belongings in our car while they tried to sort out the room, and come back 4 hrs later to a giant drying fan, wet floors and still moldy smell. Asked if these was anything else that could be done, front desk said they were booked completely snd had no other rooms, sent the maintenance man back, he said he could do anything else. We slept in a moldy room, with wet floor, and non-working ac, breakfast was terrible just some orange juice and cereal. 0/10

- Carrie (8/5): - This is in the town and close to everything. They offered a shuttle to/from beach, which was wonderful. Breakfast on Sat AM was missing the eggs and yogurt, which was there other days (rest was heavy carbs which I have to avoid) all I could get was coffee. But my kid liked the options and it was a good spread. Nice to have and there was an eating area as well. So much was walkable: beach, boardwalk, shopping, restaurants. We had a nice view of the town from balcony. Pool is available. It’s indoors and small. We didn’t use it but many were. It’s on the top floor and it is set up cute, we just skipped it. Has elevator and stairs. The staff was so nice and helpful. Room was clean. Room has bedroom, bathroom and living area with kitchenette and balcony. I thought it was perfect for our 2 night beach stay.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice hotel close to the beach - Close to the beach and Rehobeth Avenue but far enough away to avoid the traffic and other street noise at night. The comfortable bed meant a great night sleep for me. Front desk clerk was friendly and helpful.

The Breakers Hotel and Suites is a good deal but, the WAIT for the only 1 elevator is a long one and especially if you are older and or handicapped and cant do the stairs.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not what we expected. - The Breakers was not really what we expected, especially with its wonderful reviews. The hotel doesn’t have a beach vibe feel. It’s quite dull. The lobby was sometimes unattended and often smelled like pot. The bed was not comfortable, mattress worn out. The photos of the breakfast on the website did not look like the breakfast that was offered. It was served starting at 8 and we are early risers. The shuttle service to the beach was not available one of the days we were there but runs from 10-5. Most people like to get to the beach earlier. There standing lamp in the room but no place to plug it in. Overall we were not impressed with this highly rated hotel.
- Maria (4/5): - Rusted towel holders in bathroom, beds were uncomfortable, 1 elevator for the whole hotel long wait to catch an elevator and with a handicap person it was not comfortable..first day there their shuttle service to the beach was not working. Got coffee at night and tasted old. Wanted to take trash but was not provided with extra trash bags.
- Claudia (8/5): - This is our third time staying here. The only downside is the “continental breakfast”. They only have cereal, bagels, and muffin. When I stayed here 2 years ago, breakfast consisted of eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausage. Not sure why it changed.

- Jorden (10/5): Family getaway - We decided to take a last-minute family getaway from the city, and the Breakers was a perfect place for us! The staff was friendly and attentive. Everything was super clean. The highlight was there being a driver who would take you from the hotel down to the boardwalk. Our two year-old had the best time and we will be back to stay here again!
