Lori A (8/5): clean, comfortable beds, needs more ambience - we like the location as we have kids at Chapman, it’s Clean and staff are friendly The breakfast is terrible, but has gotten a little better than the last few years. Fake sausage. There’s no ambience for the evening guest reception. It’s basically chips and no vibe. It would be great if you had a bartender or more ways to create a vibe in that room in evenings We were so exhausted after helping our kid pack and so we were so excited to go there. The bed was amazing, but then in half an hour, we were bored to death and looking for a place to go eat. The hotel is missing the vibe that makes you feel like you want to stay and that it’s cozy. The air-conditioning is on so cold in the lobby. Nobody hangs out.

Everyone we spoke to that worked at the Ayres was friendly Didn't like the fact that we had to pay to park our car on the property! But at least it wasn't expensive
Fred (8/5): Besides that it was great. - It was in a great location There was a stench in our room, and figure it out. When we went to bed we found one out of pillows to be soiled with a horrible smell. Placed it outside the door. 20 mins later the room was free from odor.

Catherine (10/5): Perfect start to our girls trip! - The breakfast was excellent, satisfying two adults and two 'littles'. The spa was very relaxing and the kids enjoyed the pool. Very close to Angel Stadium and not far from Disneyland. I would absolutely stay here again -- especially if going to Disneyland or to a baseball game at Angel Stadium.

CHARLES (10/5): S.S. AYERS - Everything was very good. Staff was pleasant, helpful, and , most importantly to me, they seemed happy in their work. I heard a lot of laughing from them and they seemed to enjoy being there, which impressed me. Room was great, food was great and the atmosphere there reminded me of being on a cruise ship, which I love. At one point I had to ask the front desk if housekeeping was going to do our room. I had waited all day for them to come but they didn't. Once I asked the front desk about it, they came immediately and cleaned the room.

Lucas (9/5): Wasn't perfect, but great for the price. Would stay there again for a day trip to Disneyland. - The man who checked us in was fantastic. He was extremely professional and gave clear information about the hotel amenities like the complimentary breakfast, the swimming pool, and how the room card works the lights in the room. There were no surprises or questions unanswered when we settled into our room. (Because we were traveling with young kids, this is really, really appreciated!) The room itself was clean and spacious (including the bathroom). The beds were fairly comfortable, the air worked great, and we really appreciated the small "pony wall" that offered some privacy between beds in our dual-queen studio. The breakfast buffet had several options but greatly lacked flavor. Although I didn't have any, I imagine the cold cereals like Frosted Flakes and Froot Loops would have been the best tasting food offered. The bacon did taste good and was very crispy, but it was razor thin. What I did eat: scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, coffee, and the most flavorless apple danish I've ever eaten. The location was okay, but very close to busy roads and, as a result, very loud outside. (This was not noticeable from our room, however.) The location wasn't *right* next to Disneyland, but it was only about a (somewhat complicated) 15-minute drive away.

Breakfast had multiple choices, was good to be able to have breakfast before heading out for the day. Plenty of parking on site. The sofa beds was not very comfortable. They accommodated my requests for early check in and a higher floor and discounted the parking due to a miscommunication on my part. The sheets were cleaned but the room was not cleaned properly, not sure if it was because I requested early check in and they didn’t do a thorough clean but I was disappointed.

Quarto grande, comportou bem 4 adultos e 6 malas grandes. Até o café da manhã, para padrão americano, atende muito bem o que brasileiros estão habituados a comer. As toalhas de banho e rosto são novas, bem brancas e cheirosas! Cama excelente e roupa de cama tão limpa quanto as de banho. Não menos importante, há lavanderia self service dentro do hotel, o que ajuda muito quando a viagem é mais longa. Certamente voltarei!!!! Nada que me tenha chamado atenção negativamente.

The property is impeccably clean, and the housekeeping team does a fantastic job keeping everything spotless and welcoming. The breakfast is excellent — fresh, well organized, and a great way to start the day. The service truly stands out. Brooke at the front desk does a fantastic job — professional, warm, and genuinely attentive, making every interaction seamless. I also had a minor maintenance issue during my stay, and the team resolved it immediately, which speaks volumes about how well the hotel is run. Highly recommend staying here when in Orange.

melindaed (10/5): Lovely hotel very close to UCI Medical Center - I really enjoyed my short stay at this lovely hotel. They were very accommodating. I stayed at this hotel because it was walking distance to UCI Medical Center hospital where my dear friend was undergoing surgery. I asked if it was possible to get early check in. Christopher arranged for me to get into my room by 11:00 am. The room was very nice and very clean. The breakfast they offered was delicious with a variety of items to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel.
Ruth (9/5): Good value close to Disneyland - The hotel is exceptionally well maintained. Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. They offer a decent free American breakfast. It’s a quick 5 minute drive to Disneyland, stores and restaurants. In my opinion it was a good value compared to what other hotels closer to Disney were charging. There is a daily parking fee of $15 + tax. They have laundry facilities but only 1 washer and 1 dryer for everyone ($4 to wash & $4 to dry) The air conditioner was next to the bed blowing on you so you’d freeze. The units didn’t regulate to the set temperature so they would run constantly and then we’d have to raise the temp to get it to turn off then it would get hot again and we’d repeat the cycle .

Christie (9/5): Okay Hotle but will choose another one next time we visit - Clean AC is old and could smell odor when put in initially. It was quite noisy for rooms next to the highway and main road in front of the property. Breakfast was very simple and lack of selections.

Makenzie (8/5): Great place for the most part, very fairly priced, close to Disney and all kinds of restaurants. - Breakfast was pretty good, the room was cleaned every day and the staff was very nice. The pool and hot tub were always dirty and they had nothing to clean it out with yourself. The hot tub was down one night and no one came to fix it and after a full day at Disney all I wanted was some jets on my back.
