Due to the historic nature of the property, the building has no elevator. There are 4 ground level rooms available.

A bit pricey - but that is expected for the area. It would have been nice to have a place to sit and enjoy the bottle of wine we bought at our wine tasting after dark and the park was closed.

We enjoyed the balcony of our room because it overlooked the square and was interesting to sit and watch everything. The bed was dvery comfy, the room seemed big, the bathroom was very spacious. The restaurant was very good. It was a little noisy from traffic in the morning, but the location was worth it.

The pool needs to be updated to match the rest of the upgrades. It was a bit underwhelming compared to everything else and the website made it look like it was a bit nicer. - Karl (3/5): - Die Lage in der City. Das an zwei Tagen unter unserem Zimmerfenster ab ca 06:00 Uhr in der Früh die Strassenoberfläche mit sehr großem Gerät abgefräst und erneuert wurde. Desweiteren kamen am Montag ab ca. 05:30 Uhr drei Müllwagen und haben die Mülltonnen geleert. Auch bei dem Krach ist an schlafen nicht mehr zu denken. Aber die Fortsetzung mit dem Straßenbau war die absolute Spitze.

Right in the heart of Sonoma - in walking distance of lots of shopping and restaurants and several hiking trails and bike trail. Room was very comfortable and bed was great. Small balcony was a nice touch. A heat pump in the room was particularly nice. Shower was great. Having a tea kettle and a coffee machine in the room was wonderful as was the refrigerator. We really liked this hotel. Staff was great and gave great recommendations for area attractions. No elevator but hotel staff immediately brought any heavy luggage up. We didn't know about the pool or the bikes until day 2 of our trip and didn't end up getting to use them. Room was a little small for any big suitcases.

- Clinton (8/5): Hotel has a great location and attached restaurant; the room had a great bathroom, but the bed was uncomfortably soft fo - The location right on Sonoma Plaza. The room was clean and with all the amenities we needed and with wine stems. They had and we requested a room on the ground floor- the bathroom was very large and easy to navigate. The towels were fluffy and absorbent and the robes were convenient. The restaurant had excellent dining. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The bed was too high off the floor to comfortably get on and off or to sit on it and the room was too small for chairs (two outside in front of the room, but it rained and we couldn’t use them). The bed was also too soft for us and apparently on springs that shook the bed with each movement of either of us.

- Claire (9/5): - Ideal location. Room furnishings were high quality. The shades could only be open or closed, there were no shears, so to have natural light you had to compromise privacy.

- Michelle (9/5): Highly recommend. - Perfect location, great aesthetic, amazing restaurant downstairs. There is no elevator nor a bellhop to assist with bags so you have to schlep your luggage up a decently long staircase yourself.
- Sarah (8/5): Fantastic location and quite comfortable. - The room was a good size and had all of the necessary amenities. We particularly appreciated the ample number of charging outlets on both sides of the bed and the large bathroom. We also loved the ability to enter and exit the hotel via the parking lot instead of the lobby. The air conditioner seemed to be a little wonky. We woke up multiple times per night because the room was warm.

- Achile (8/5): - No laundry options, our room smelled like beef tallow every night because it was right above the kitchen. They said there was a coffee bar, but it was never out. Everything around town closes around nine, including the kitchen. Staff fairly snobby.

- James (10/5): Great choice - My wife and I really enjoyed this hotel. It is a historic hotel, being well over 100 years old, but is well kept and modern. We stayed in the second floor right next to the street, yet our room was still quiet, excluding garbage man. Pablo was the first person we met at check in. He was exceedingly pleasant, professional, helpful, and nice. A big walking smile and ball of positive energy. My wife and I have nothing bad to say about our stay. This is the likely choice of future Sonoma stays.

La chambre est parfaite mais il y a un gros souci de nuisance sonore avec les vibrations du système de ventilation ou de climatisation dans les plafonds. Cela provoque un bourdonnement assez important et intermittent.

- Patricia (10/5): Great time - This boutique hotel was so nice. We stayed in a bungalow room off the pool. Super cute. Amenities were on point. Expresso maker, tea pot, nice glassware, carafe of water were great. Room decor was very nice and modern. Bedding, towels, and robes luxurious. Shower with rain head and hand sprayer so nice. Lighted mirror and lighted makeup mirror was a nice touch. We had a private sitting area outside our room that we loved. Staff was friendly and walked us to our room. Restaurant was delish. Had paella and scallops was delish and just as good, if not better than Girl and the Fig across the street. Very walkable. Several tasting rooms walkable. Plaza right across the street. We were lucky to see the night farmers market with live bands, street food, and vendors. Loved our stay. Would highly recommend.

- Sacha (10/5): - Beautiful, freshly renovated historic hotel in the downtown Sonoma square. Could not recommend it enough. the restaraunt in the hotel is also fabulous for all 3 meals of the day.
- Skippy (7/5): Not recommended for staying with many baggages. - Location When we arrived the hotel the stairs restoration working makings noise. There were no such information about noisy restoration on going in day time when I booked the hotel. Room we stayed in the second floor without elevator in the hotel. The hotel not stating no elevator. Not making any sense for the hotel to make apologies after guests faced difficulties.
