Novy (9/5): Great Price, Great Location - The room was squeaky clean, and the King suite was well equipped with hotspots and everything you'd need to make a light supper. The location was very walkable to many sites downtown. I also liked that the breakfast choices were plentiful and healthy. To the hot tub needed a good painting on the bottom. I suspect he was clean, because everything else in the hotel was clean, but it was hard to tell because the paint was old and stained.

For a three star hotel I hated paying $375 a night and not getting housekeeping every night. $10 for a cup of Coldstone ice cream was steep pricing. I had a hole in the mattress in my bed.
mariecB9751FU (2/5): disgusting pool and spa - The outdoor pool and spa were disgusting. The spa was covered in algae and had what appeared to be a piece of poop at the bottom of it. The pool also had algae and bugs floating around. When I went to scoop out the bugs I discovered there was a roach in the pool. I complained to the front desk and asked to speak to the manager. Despite being on site the manager Rachael refused to come speak with me. The front desk left her messages and emailed her, I emailed her, and every-time I went to the desk to ask to speak with her in person, they told me she would get back with me but she never did. I even complained to corporate and have yet to hear back from her. I will never stay here or at a Hyatt again.
mmC6343DQ (2/5): Not worth it, wished I had stayed elsewhere - The price is decent and there are positives (nice staff, great housekeepers, solid breakfast) but I hated my week in this hotel. The WiFi was terrible and frequently unable to connect. No streaming capabilities on in room TVs (it’s 2026…nobody wants basic cable in an extended stay style hotel). Pool and hot tub were downright nasty, with stuff floating in the water and surfaces that badly need to be cleaned. Minimal closet and dresser space despite the idea that you’re in a suite.

Heather James (5/5): - The person that checked us in was super nice. I loved how everything was so clean We got put in room 126 which is right across the hallway from the gym and/or another hallway. I didn't sleep much the whole night because someone kept going in and out of one of those doors and it was slamming pretty consistently all night, and SUPER loud. I assume it was a staff member because it was all night every hour at least. The hotel was nice but definitely not worth over 200 a night, especially when you consider how much you have to pay just to park there and considering it was a random Tuesday night, so I assume weekend rates are even more. It says parking is validated yet when I went to do so, the lady working looked at me like I was stupid and said the validation is just a good rate. (It wasn't)

teodorspanu (8/5): Just a place to sleep - I have to admit that I haven't stayed at a Hyatt hotel in a long time and I was somewhat impatient to see what it offers in addition to other franchises. The answer is simple: nothing. Even less than other hotels. I stayed 4 nights, but only one day was the room cleaned. No change of towels in the bathroom or addition of toiletries. The breakfast was identical every day, processed and tasteless food. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Transit hotel, a lot of noise in the hallways. Slow check-in and check-out, the staff unfamiliar with the reception. That's about it!
Priscilla (1/5): worker lied and caused me to lose money. - I booked this hotel by accident months in advance. I went to the hotel the day I actually needed it instead of the accidental booking date and was told of this accident. I accepted it and asked if I could get a refund or partial refund since I am canceling 6 months in advance. The front desk worker told me yes and she claimed to cancel and refund the money. Come to find out she did not cancel or refund my money and by the time I realized I was told a refund could not be issued. Your worker lied and I was out a hotel and my money. The worker that lied about refusing my money.

Luis (10/5): Amazing - Great hotel, super friendly and welcoming staff, I felt really well taken care of. Everything is very close, markets, shops, restaurants, all within walking distance in Salt Lake City. The location is spot on, basically next to downtown, and getting around is super easy. Amazing value for money. I stayed 8 days and the hotel fit perfectly for what I needed. Family of 5, we got 2 rooms. I’d say it works really well for a family with up to two kids, or even three adults, plenty of space and good structure, so it was more than perfect. Public Parking is almost part of the hotel, gym, breakfast a must. Parking for $20 a day it’s really expensive. Nothing more to add.
Richard (10/5): Great place to stay in downtown Salt Lake City - First off I arrived a few hours early and went to the hotel before the 3pm check. Lola the at the front desk advised no rooms were ready but she would call me if one became available. She called me about an hour later and advised my room was ready. Lola was very friendly and helpful even giving me a list of good restaurant in the area. My room was spacious and very clean. The walk in shower was great and the bed was comfortable. Loved the view from my window of downtown with the mountains in the background. All the staff were very friendly. I have no complaints with this location.

Close to the elevator yet far enough away didn't hear any elevator-associated activity. Nice breakfast options. Five minute stroll to my venue. Monica (8/5): It was lovely - The person who checked me in was fantastic. He was so attentive. YOU HAD OAT MILK AT BREAKFAST WOOT. I always have to hunt out coffee off site but you had oat milk. Non dairy creamers still have milk derived protein and I can't have it. I loved how close it was to delta center and the planetarium. Selection at breakfast was good The toilet in the first room was broken we had to switch rooms. The second room tje door would not lock in the bathroom and it was not as clean. And put together. The beds were too firm for a side sleeper. My hips hurt all night. The pull out bed had a bar my son could feel all night not making it a good sleep. I am a single mom and the price was a bit much. The extra for parking was diffcult.

TPA22 (10/5): Hyatt House SLC, has a beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains - As usual, Hyatt never disappoints. This is my first time at Hyatt house in Salt Lake City, Utah. The location is perfect. It’s walking distance to everything. And if you want to head to the mountains, it’s not a long drive at all. I got a room on a high floor with a beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains! I would definitely stay here again.

Yves (9/5): - The neighborhood is pleasantly quiet, and I was warmly welcomed by the reception on Saturday afternoon. The room, including the bathroom, was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice, and I really liked the yogurt with the wild-berry compote. The hotel did not feel like a hotel, but more like a home to me in the middle of the November breeze.

cwillz56 (10/5): Great Hotel - All staff from front desk to cleaners were helpful and friendly. We had a King Bed One Bedroom Kitchen Suite which was spacious and comfortable. Everything you could possibly need for eating in was available. There were also multiple restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Our favourites were The Green Pig, Carson’s Kitchen, Squatters Pub, Chile Tepin and the $3 drafts on Mondays at The Beerhive. The free breakfast included fresh fruit and other healthy options. Coffee was available 24/7. The outside hot tub was welcome after a day of skiing. The free transport in the Downtown area and the free 107 bus to Park City was reliable and an added bonus. The hotel is conveniently situated close to Temple Square and other attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and should we return to SLC will book again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are only cleaned via housekeeping every other day and even then my bedding wasn't replaced/made. Breakfast is only served for a 2 hour time slot 7am to 9am on certain weekdays which caught me off guard and I had to end up ordering breakfast for myself from outside. Also the breakfast variety is not that extensive compared to other hotel breakfast buffets.

Nomad21809018282 (10/5): Clean, modern, and comfortable. A welcoming place for longer stays! - Had a lovely stay at this Hyatt Place. It is truly ideal for a long stay in SLC. Proximity to downtown SLC is great, as well as being walking distance to the family research library, in case you are in town to do geneaology research. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate any requests we had. Beds are comfortable. The place is very clean and was relatively quiet during my stay. It was a 24 hour gym, and an outdoor pool and hot tub, as well as a large lobby and lounge area with seating both inside and outside. Very comfortable. I would definitely recommend and would gladly return.
mikevG2680HB (4/5): Mixed Experience – Good Location, Poor Service & Amenities - The location of Hyatt House Downtown is acceptable if you want to be close to downtown and reasonably centered between the ski resorts. That was the main positive of our stay. Unfortunately, everything else fell far below expectations. The breakfast was very disappointing—poor quality, limited options, and not well managed. The spa conditions were also unacceptable; it did not feel clean or properly maintained, which made us avoid using it altogether. On top of that, modifying our reservation was a frustrating experience. Communication was unclear and unhelpful, and the process felt unnecessarily difficult. To make matters worse, the parking fee was not clearly disclosed at the time of booking. It was not obvious in my reservation details, yet I was still charged, which felt misleading and left a bad impression. Overall, while the location works, the hotel needs serious improvement in transparency, service, and upkeep of amenities. I would not stay here again unless these issues are addressed.
309marisaf (6/5): 3 star hotel experience - The blinds in the room had to be manually reset everytime we wanted to use them. The refrigerator in the roof was incredibly loud. The gabarge disposal didn't work. The TV kept dimming for no reason. We were placed in a handicap room, so the shower basically flooded the whole bathroom everytime we used it. The Hbar was closed and not disclosed on the website when we booked. It was very loud at night, we could hear the street below (we were on the third floor. The location was convenient to the convention center and restaurants.

jimbo112272 (8/5): Hidden parking fee... - We love to stay in the hotel. *Be prepared to have a $25 charge on your final bill per night for parking. * I wish they would have let me know before hand. Other than this, it's an amazing hotel with amazing staff!

geoffreypc (10/5): Great Stay - Again - My second stay here and both stays have been very enjoyable. I love the location of the hotel being across the street from Delta Center. I love the look and feel of the hotel. Breakfast options were good. The room was very nice. Very clean and functional. The bathroom was large. Shower pressure was ok. Wifi was good. Refrigerator might need a little inspection as it did not get water cold but that was ok. The team member at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I will stay here again in the future!

204davep (10/5): Great stay! - Stayed here for a show at the Delta Center, which was across the street from the hotel. Check-in was quick and easy. Room was clean, free breakfast was typical. Great experience overall. Would definitely stay here again.

Mith (6/5): Beds are stiff, but staff is polite, location is good, and breakfast powered us through the day. - Our room was spacious, staff was kind and brought us extra pillows upon request and even an extra after cleaning our room. When calling them on the phone before our stay, the attendant was polite. Bed was uncomfortable! Very stiff, hard, even with extra pillows, both me and my roommate could not sleep soundly any of the nights we stayed.
Bridgette (8/5): - The breakfast kept running out of dishes, food, utensils, condiments, water, etc. We kept having to ask over and over if they could bring out plates, forks, etc. If you have a packed hotel, which it was, you should plan accordingly.

TucsonLocal1 (8/5): Good Stay - Overall, a pretty good stay. This is my second time staying here at the hotel and the price was very competitive for a Monday thru Wednesday stay. The best things about this hotel are its beds (very comfortable) and the location...walking distance to all of downtown. Parking was attached and no issues and a decent $25 fee per night. Many restaurants within walking distance. The biggest cons are the rooms could use some updating. The in-room lighting was poor and in dire need of better lights. The hotel is about 10 years old and could use some tweaks here and there. But very satisfied with the bed comfort, price and location. I might stay here again.
Dreamer44987570523 (10/5): Very Nice - Hyatt House was a great place to stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were very comfortable and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning exceeded our expectations. The selling point, the H Bar, was no longer functioning as a bar but was only used for breakfast. That was a bit of a disappointment.

brandonsC291EH (10/5): Great trip to Salt Lake! - It was in a great location that made it easily accessible to navigate! The Room was great, we brought our dogs and it was super convenience and dog friendly. It was clean and safe and we enjoyed our stay!
