Guest Reviews
- Sarah (10/5): - I felt safe and it was quiet indide. I could walk or bus to everything i needed.
- James (10/5): - Great value for money
- Benjamin (10/5): Amazing stay - Was super relaxing
- Denise (10/5): - Bed was comfy & clean. Room was the same. Great value for money. Not far from the station, coffee shop across the busy road. Unit was well insulated &. Noise from road was negligible. No other noise so slept well.
- thomas (8/5): Nice appt. well worth the price - Nice little apartment. Decor a little tired but clean and neat. Very good value and the owner was very helpful at the outset to make my stay as comfortable as possible.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Spaciousbathroom small and shower screen door stuck/wouldn't clise
- dolores (8/5): 3-day stay - Room was nice and cool despite very hot day. Shower screen door seemed to be broken. We had to keep bathroom closed as bad smell from drainage. It would have been good to know about the sound proof screen because of the busy Canterbury Road. We only discovered this on the last day.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good - Good room for the price. TV remote would only work for turning TV on and off - none of the other buttons seemed to work. Carpet was stained and bathroom dated. other than that, good room and facilities.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A great compact little apartment. Everything was clean and well organised. Bathroom was looking a little dated but it still worked fine.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great stay. - Car space undercover at your back door was excellent.
- chris (8/5): Box Hill beauty - Compact but still roomy. All things you would need for a short stay.
- Andrew (8/5): A small room on a busy road, but functional - We stayed here two nights when our house was being packed up for a move. It did the job of providing us with a place to stay nearby. The room is small, but functional. The kitchenette has enough in it to allow for basic meals to be prepared. The room faces on to a very busy, noisy road - I used earplugs to ensure that I got a reasonable sleep.
- Hugh (10/5): Great home away from home. - Well positioned within walking distance to many interesting shops. Had a terrific 2 weeks here and will return in the future. The hosts provide everything. Lots of extra thoughtful touches.
- Bev (10/5): Very Comfy Bed - We stayed here on the tail end of 3 weeks away from home. Finally a comfortable bed, nice cosy place and everything we needed at our fingertips. We had no problems with check in or out.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Confusing check in, instructions not sent beforehand. Good location & condition except the bed was very old & saggy so not a great night's sleep.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Perfect for what i needed. Communication was spot on. Easy access. Recommended as a good place to stay.
- DAMOONS (8/5): Location suited us perfectly - Was like a caravan holiday with ensuite and washer / dryer
- Joan (8/5): Certainly not what we were expecting - This was an apartment not a hotel, motel experience with no, checkin, no service and lists of rules (from a Body Corporate no less) We managed on the same towels for 4 days but never saw a person, should we have needed more. The apartment was in reasonably good condition, clean and comfortable and well situated
- Avi (10/5): Freaking loved it!! - It was wonderful, love the self check in, gives us a sense of privacy. My stay was short but it was a lovely stay at this studio apartment. Fabulous bed. Clean and cozy.
- John (8/5): Great place. - Secure parking with internal access to unit, individual and secure entry from street and most of what is needed in a small unit when away from home. Our stay was 15 days was in Unit 3. We missed not having a dishwasher, oven and cooktop stove though an induction element and microwave are provided. Service from the agent could not have been better in the support and follow-through on Telstra internet issues. Great washing machine and drier which was lucky as the cleaners did not service the unit throughout our stay however being off season and paying a low rate more than made up for any shortfall. A great place to stay.
- Mal (6/5): Close to shops - Ok unserviced studio apartment. Room needs fumigation as a lot of cockroach action in kitchen & bathroom. Great underground secure parking right outside back door. Noisey traffic on Canterbury rd. and walls / ceiling pretty thin as well. It's a self check in system so you don't interact with staff unless you want to. ALDI and other shops close by.
- Cookie (8/5): Nice room a bit far out of city - We only stayed 3 nights but would be great for longer stays as it has a fully equipped kitchen and is quite a good sized room with very secure undercover parking. There was a bit of a lack of info rergarding how to use the parking area and the room is relatively noisy being on the main road but would only be a problem if one was a light sleeper who had trouble with sleep in general.
All in all a good experience.
- jo (10/5): - Found box hill studios to be convenient to all you would need as in shops garage eating places main roads post office .apartment clean and well equipped would recommend to anyone.
- Judy (4/5): Disappointing venture - Studio room nice but fridge not working, so they kindly upgraded us to a family apartment, no studio rooms available.
Nice apartment but spent 1/2 an hour looking for the TV remote which we found under the sofa cushion. Cleaners should be a little more detailed. Then after going out to dinner returned home to find a giant spider..not nice.
The real problem was the beds...so uncomfortable. Hubby slept on top of 6 pillows one night, tried the single the next but was almost crippled with pain. Even resorted to trying to sleep on a chair. We could not have stayed another night, he could hardly move (I wasn't much better) and I'm sure he'd be in hospital if we had.
