Visiting Hanoi for a week and going on numerous overnight 2d trips, we used Hotel Emerald as our home base whenever returning to Hanoi. The staff remembered us, saw that we had numerous bookings, assisted us with transport, trips, and let us keep bags there even on the nights without booking. We also received a free upgrade to our room upping returning after our first trip. Breakfast was also awesome and location a stones throw away from most things. N/A

If you are seeking a hotel that offers top quality old school service in a great location in the Old Quarter within walking distance of major attractions this is the one for you.. l normally reframe from mentioning individual staff or writing reviews but this hotel really impressed me and l felt compelled to do so. Special mention to manger Justin & his team, Clare, Jennie, Clare, Tom, Tony, Sam & Bin. Your efforts & consistency during our stay didn't go unnoticed ( sorry if l forgot anyone, I'm old). Couldn't fault anything. Location, service & value for money was beyond our expectations.

The reception staff were very helpful with information and requests for transportation needs etc. The hotel is well cared for and the rooms tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast exceeded our expectations and was delicious. We forgot our phone charger and they even contacted us a day later to ask how they could return it to us. We were very impressed with the attitude of all the staff we encountered! Location is very central to the best areas of the old quarter.

• Carolina (9/5): Amazing Hanoi welcome - The location is amazing, the staff is incredibly welcoming and made for us a list of places to visit and where to eat, the bed was very comfortable and the room well sound proof. Breakfast offers a good variety of Vietnamese and western food. The pressure of water in the shower was not constant and was hard to keep it on the same temperature.

• Tresca (10/5): Highly Recommend - Staff and facilities amazing.. The people couldn't be any nicer. They arranged pickup from the airport and got us settled in when we arrived at night. They got us future train tickets for another leg of our journey because it was going to be a holiday weekend and they wanted to make sure we got good seats. Breakfast was great! We had a rear facing room on the 8th floor and it was super quiet. It's the one quiet street in a very busy area. On the weekend they close off the streets around the lake 2 blocks away and it's lovely to stroll around it and see all the families, couples, jump ropers and dance/exercise groups out enjoying the evening. The king size bed in our room was really hard and my hips really hurt. The desk was very responsive and they built me a mattress topper out of fluffy blankets piled up.

She arranged multiple excursions and ground travel for us and stayed in communication with us throughout all of it to guaranty everything went as well as possible. Thank you, Jenny verry very much! • Wesley (8/5): 整體符合預期，細節可以再提升的飯店 - 早餐多元，但東西常缺東缺西的，點餐也會送錯桌，收拾空盤的速度很慢，整桌子都是空盤也沒人來收。早餐的服務是一大敗筆。相對客房的服務人員就很專業且親切，服務到位。住宿的空間比較小，走道不大，廁所反倒很大，我住頂樓，廁所裡還放了個梯子，十分不協調。 早餐的服務可以再提升。菜沒了也是慢慢補，有些就不補。客製化的點餐，例如牛肉河粉，我說要肉多一點，連續二天，都是回覆我說好，但是來的餐點就是沒變。服務人員要再訓練。可以印個菜餐讓客戶選擇要什麼，不用雞同鴨講。

Staying there was the highlight of our Vietnam travels. We stayed there for 3 nights initially, then headed to Cam Pha, but returned there for our last 2 nights. It felt like coming home. Jennie booked us an amazing day on a luxurious Ha Long Bay cruise and was helpful with everything. Justin and the other staff were amazing too. The actual rooms were on the small side, but were clean and comfortable and didn’t detract from the experience. The buffet breakfast was great too, as was the location in the old part of the city and close to a beautiful lake. Nothing. It was wonderful.

O quarto é extremamente confortável, moderno e silencioso, garantindo noites de sono excelentes. A limpeza é impecável! O café da manhã também merece destaque: uma variedade incrível de opções frescas e deliciosas, misturando o melhor da culinária local e ocidental. A equipe do hotel é, sem dúvida, o ponto alto. Todos são muito atenciosos, educados e proativos, sempre dispostos a ajudar com um sorriso no rosto. A localização também é imbatível, permitindo explorar os principais pontos turísticos e a agitação da cidade com muita facilidade. Aproveitei para utilizar os serviços extras e não me arrependi. A massagem  agendada pelo hotel foi revigorante e de altíssimo nível. O restaurante também é fantástico, com pratos muito bem executados. Além disso, reservei o passeio para Halong Bay diretamente com eles e a organização foi impecável, com um suporte total que me deixou muito seguro. Recomendo de olhos fechados para quem busca conforto, serviço de classe e uma localização estratégica. Com certeza voltare.i

• Darpan (10/5): An excellent stay with great service, a perfect location, and outstanding hospitality - We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Emerald Waters Classy. Due to the current situation in the Middle East, we had to prepone our travel dates, and the hotel was very accommodating in providing us with an alternative room without any hassle. The rooms were really nice—cozy, spacious, and very clean. The hotel is located in the Old Quarter but still tucked away from the busy streets, which made it peaceful while still being within walking distance of all major attractions. Breakfast was great with a good variety to start the day. A special thanks to Ms. Jennie, who stayed in touch with me from the moment I made the booking through Booking.com. She helped us arrange day trips to Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh and even assisted us during her off day, which we truly appreciated. Overall, this hotel is an excellent option within budget, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
• Sharyn (10/5): Everything you want for a great stay in Hanoi! - An amazing stay!! We have stayed in Hanoi many times before but it was our first time staying here. We had booked the Suite Balcony and were shocked at how great the soundproofing was! We even went on the balcony to see if it was just a quiet moment in Hanoi (no). Additionally, the room itself was spacious and really clean. The staff were all very friendly (including the lovely housekeeping team) and were super helpful during our stay. The location is perfect and really central to everything, there is also a restaurant conveniently located downstairs. All up we loved our stay here - we will be back! Nothing - we will return 100%!!

Jennie at the front desk is an absolute angel and recommended so many great food places. My room had no window to the outside. The breakfast wasn’t good, but who needs that when there are a million small restaurants and cafes all just a few minutes’ walk away.
• Galit (10/5): - Great hotel in a very centralized location. Very confortable rooms, very clean, excellent breakfast, and excellent service and hospitality. This hotel became our home in Hanoi - we ended up returning to it and also extending our stay. Special thanks to the hotel staff, who were very helpfull with accomodating our needs and the un-planned extention of our stay - they really did their best to find us suitable rooms in a very short notice. Thank you for a lovely stay!

• Penny (10/5): Fantastic Hotel in Old Town - Everything was so good. Location was fantastic, 10minute walk to everything. Room was good and we got upgraded which was even better. Their buffet breakfast was very nice. The staff were the best I have seen and very very friendly. Jenni organised all our tours and she was always available incase we needed anything. They took a lot of care of us. I will always recommend and stay here again.
