- Martha (10/5): - The room was clean, updated and quite spacious. The staff at the front desk, restaurant and concierge were very helpful. The bed was so comfortable and the room was incredibly quiet. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit.

- Richard (10/5): - We spent 2 nights here in the Duplex room. We were escorted to our room by the receptionist who showed us where the breakfast room was and what times it was available. When in the room she showed us how to use all the lights and electric curtains and then left us to get ready for dinner. The staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much for them to do. The breakfast area was small and a fairly small selection but all very nice and clearly high quality produce and freshly squeezed fruit juice. The hotel was fairly close to most things but if you don’t want to walk 10-15mins then UBER’s were quick to get to the hotel and even when taxi’s were called they arrived in a couple of minutes. Unfortunately we didn’t have chance to try the spa. Fantastic hotel and will stay here again if we come back to Paris.

Unfortunately, the AC does not work well and the room was hot, they didn't replace a light for 2 days on the bed that kept us up one night, we asked for them to make a simple dinner reservation and they said they don't do that. Again, the property was great but for 5 stars, they treated us more like a 2 star hotel.

As a solo female traveler making her very first voyage outside of North America, on what could be described as a “spiritual journey” I couldn’t be more pleased with my choice in properties. Beginning two weeks prior to arrival the concierge staff was the epitome of hospitable, welcoming and helpful in ways I could never have expected. They were so very gracious in assisting me with restaurant recommendations and reservations, transportation needs and most importantly instilling in me the expectation of a truly warm welcome. After starting my trip with a stay at a different property in the 1st arrondissement I was picked up by a Le Cinq Codet vehicle with a driver that went above expectations and provided a charming, highly knowledgeable and very welcome history lesson on my previous stays property and all the sights along our route as I was transferred to their location in the 7th arrondissement. They accommodated an early check-in and had my room ready with a lovely acknowledgement that the day of my arrival was also my birthday. There was competent and courteous staff available at all hours. The properties location was stunning as were all the facilities. Upon falling ill on my last day they went above and beyond to send someone out to procure a thermometer for me, offered to arrange medical assessment and checked in on me regularly. Time and again they went above d beyond.

- Derek (6/5): - Le Cinq Was A Nice Hotel. Had A Few Issues Though. The Food At The Restaurant Was Not Good,Ordered Some Salmon To Only Find Out It Was Raw Salmon. Tried to send it back and they wouldn’t refund it. Manager told me to “know what I’m ordering before I order it”. Others where checked up on and food was served to them before us and we was there first. I believe it was cause we were Americans. 2nd the room was nice I paid for a Valentine’s Day decoration for the room in my opinion it was nice but not worth the price they asked for to do it it was kinda half way done. The TV had the wrong name on it it was a different couple that kinda killed the mood. The bathroom shower drains really slow if you take long showers it will spill out to the middle of the floor. Overall the Le Cinq was just okay. They need to tidy up on a few things to be considered 4-5 star hotel

- Kenneth (8/5): Contemporary, yet comfortable hotel. - 5 day stay- very nice, roomy suite. Contemporary furnishings that were very comfortable. The location was quiet, near Rue Cler and a Metro stop. The only issue was the breakfast experience. The food was excellent; a lot of good choices, hot and cold. But there was tension between the service staff- one senior waiter berated another for sitting us at a table before it had been wiped down. Another day it took 45 minutes to prepare an omelet, which ended up being cooked by the waiter. Clearly short-staff, one disapproving manager walked through the area, but couldn't be bothered to help.

- CRISTINA (10/5): - I had a wonderful time, they brought to my service immediately. Within minutes I had all requests, it is a 10-15 minute drive to eiffel tower and Arc. There is no traffic there so amazing compared to other hotels with so many cars running through. Definitely worth staying, I got the duplex room which was big and spacious.

We also enjoyed the restaurant and the food was good and one night there was a jazz band who made the atmosphere relaxing. The neighborhood is quite but close enough to the metro station and not very far from the eiffel tower.

Also, the staff walking into our room WITHOUT KNOCKING while we were sleeping was very angering. - Friends' room had MOSQUITOS. - Windows were POOLING with water because the ventilation from the bathroom was NON-EXISTENT. - Staff entered room WITHOUT KNOCKING while we were sleeping and indecent. - King room was two twin beds covered with a thin (not even fitted) sheet. - MULTIPLE requests for refills of coffee and water went unfulfilled. - MULTIPLE requests to address the humidity went unresolved. It was a LOVELY property, and beside the staff not doing what they said they would do (like refill supplies, or come up to the room to examine the humidity), the staff was friendly. However, this felt like I was staying a nicely decorated motel 6. For the price, I would stay absolutely anywhere else.

- Mike (2/5): Bad housekeeping - This property has a major housekeeping problem. When we checked in there was no comforter or sheets (even the night manager was shocked). The next day they straightened the comforter but left the bed, unmade with the remote in it.

We have an issue with the shower as it overflown a couple of times, I mentioned the issue to the staff at the end of our 2 day stay because I did not wish to deal with the concern on my last days in Paris. The staff was really friendly and helpful but I could not have been able to watch tv without their assistance. In my opinion this hotel is great for a younger generation.

- Anne (10/5): - It was our second time staying at Le Cinq Codet, and it was never a disappointment. We got the Dome Suite this time around, and wow. Just wow. It was as the pictures depicted, and better. Like a penthouse, the suite can be divided into three generous spaces—the living room, the bedroom, and an astonishingly large bathroom with bath, shower, and vanity. We really lucked out on the value and amount of space, considering how most lodging options in Paris are said to be cramped. The suite looks out to a verdant terrace that wraps around two sides, with a fantastic view of the neighborhood and the golden dome of the Invalides just across the way. Daily breakfast buffet is an absolute must—careful to leave room for the remainder of the day! We were greeted with a bottle of champagne and a box of fine chocolates. The housekeeping staff is stealthily attentive for the most part, refreshing our room each day with turndown service. I would choose Le Cinq Codet again in a heartbeat, especially in one of their top suites.
