Jeremy (9/5): Real ambience within a historic building, with all the modern luxuries. - Really nice rooms, with character but extremely well maintained for an old property with so much history. Bathroom was plush, beds comfortable and it's clear they've put real thought into the feel of the place. Highly recommended if you're in Swansea. Nothing that I could think of. Maybe the lighting in the room could have been a bit brighter.

Judith (8/5): Pleasant Hotel Choice in Swansea - The staff at the reception desk were very helpful. The bar area is comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. It is located near the Dylan Thomas Centre which is why I was in Swansea. It would have been nice if there had been some peanuts or something at the bar. That's about all I can think of.

Christopher (10/5): We highly recommend this hotel for location, comfort, service and superb breakfasts. - My wife and I booked two nights at the Morgans hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The room, staff, location and breakfasts were exceptional and we would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. We also had no problem in parking in the dedicated car park literally 25m from the hotel front door. Thank you for a great stay. Going Home :)

Ryan (10/5): Great 1 night stay, easy choice to come back again. Quality establishment. - Deluxe room (Zeta) and bathroom facilities were spacious and high quality. Staff were very polite and friendly. Lovely breakfast off the menu and added extras from the food area. Lovely place to be and feel special in for special occasions. Short walk to the arena. Great location. That we didn't get to stay longer. :)

Doddy241216 (10/5): Great Hotel - When we first arrived were very unsure due to the scaffolding outside. How wrong we were. The staff were fantastic, the building is amazing, our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean and breakfast was excellent. We would have no hesitation staying again.

Staff very helpful in every way. Breakfast. Perfectly cooked. Disabled parking space. Very small upright black post adjacent to it could easily be missed. Rusty metal bar hazard when getting out of car. Small things but really matter to mobility restricted guest. Food ‘restaurants’ in lane on opposite side of main road to hotel. Mainly variations on burger. Concrete Council offices nearby blocking view of bay the biggest eyesore.
Wendy (10/5): Would certainly stay again. It’s in a great position at 5he Maritime Quarter, the staff were super friendly and helpful - Everything, the big rooms and generous size bathroom. The fabulous friendly staff. The bed although very comfortable was not very easy for a 5ft person to climb into.

Frankie (9/5): A LOVELY HOTEL IN A HISTORICAL BUILDING IN AN EXCELLENT LOCATION - We loved the warm welcome we received from all the staff, together with the birthday card and cake treat waiting in the room. It was also great to be able to park just across the road for a small charge. The building has beautiful architectural features and was overall very well maintained. The a la carte breakfast options were great in addition to the usual buffet items. The Reception staff recommended a nice restaurant to go to and kindly booked a table for us. The room allocated was large, but could do with a little updating in some areas. The wardrobe and area under the tv were a little dated. To have automatic lights inside the dark wardrobe would also be a bonus. The large floor area lends itself well to having two small armchairs with a small table to make it a little cosier. Also the courtesy tray was in the wardrobe whilst the coffee machine etc. were on the desk on the other side. To have this all in one place is more convenient for the guests. The bathroom appeared to have small lights fitted at the top of the mirror, but they did not work, although there was a light switch. The main bathroom light was very bright, and although great for shaving/doing make up, at night, when going to the toilet, a more ambient light would be better. Although not an issue as we only stayed one night, the hotel does not have a restaurant for lunch or dinner. If we had been staying longer, we might have enjoyed having a meal at the hotel, rather than venturing out.

Bridget (8/5): Accommodated need. - The lovely spacious room was in the attic at the guesthouse. I would have preferred a kettle in the room .. just quick and simple. Also a mini fridge would have been good. And not having a bath was a big disappointment.

DarcyJones (10/5): Living history with top notch hospitality - Another perfect stay at this wonderful hotel. The staff are exceptional in terms of helpfulness, knowledge and just downright hospitality - they make you feel special. Rooms spacious, well equipped and quiet, and the rest of the hotel is like staying in a living museum with wonderful frescos, stained glass and wooden paneling. The good burghers of Swansea had some swaggering style when they built their harbour headquarters and us patrons of the hotel get to revel in it - super place.
Enfys (10/5): Unique, beautiful, great location and highly recommended! - Everything! The location was perfect for a city centre night out. The car park and check in process was convenient and straight forward. The room was outstanding and the bed.. wow!! Best I've ever slept in. Clean, comfortable and the smell was divine! The main hotel was just perfect. The decor is so unique and interesting. The breakfast room was breathtaking! Speaking about breakfast. It was stunning! Will definitely return! Absolutely nothing except we had to leave!

martin (6/5): Not the best trip. - Location is great and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were very nice and helpful. The bed in Alpha in the ground floor of the annexe was very gard and uncomfortable. The pillows were even worse. We had little sleep and had back and neck pain for several days after. The aircon was on and off all night. We tried having the windows open but traffic on the roads outside made that unworkable.

DoctorPorky (10/5): Surpassed my admittedly high expectations - Been meaning to visit for some considerable time. An unexpected opportunity arose to call in. Loved the approach to Morgans - beautifully quiet given its proximity to central Swansea. Parked opposite and sauntered over. Smooth check in. Upgraded to Zeta. This was a lovely room and, I think, commendably good value. Great bed, great bathroom. Loved the dual aspect windows. Loved the low-rise vibe. This was a fleeting stay handled with admirably great aplomb from start to finish. I'd definitely come back. Can't recommend it highly enough. Go, stay, enjoy. I wish I'd done so sooner.

Brennan (8/5): Comfy bed, not in the hotel - The room was clean, bed was super comfy and lady on reception was amazing. When I booked our stay I book for a room in the main hotel, when we arrived we were placed in their building over the road. If I had known this I wouldn’t have paid what I did for the room. There is a tiny car park out the front of the hotel but it isn’t enough for the amount of guest and advertises as a car park ok onsite, you have to park in either the car park around the back of the hotel or there’s a car park on Bath street.

holaryh (8/5): An unexpected gift - This was our first visit. It is obvious that the hotel has great potential and is very much work in progresss. That being said the room was clean and comfortable but the heating was not great. What made this experience was the Staff. All were welcoming and dealt quickly and willingly with any requests. I cannot praise them highly enough. The breakfast was varied, plentiful and served with a smile. Booking was hazardous free and check out was smooth. Thank you all . We hope to stay again . V8770INgeraldinel (10/5): Very welcoming, excellent breakfast, lovely staff. - We spent four nights at Morgan’s & we found the staff very helpful and friendly. Our first experience of this was being welcomed by Amy & Rhys on reception. They recommended places to eat and the two we tried were Galinis family run Italian restaurant and Bistro Pierre. Both excellent food and service. The bathroom was great and there were plenty of big fluffy towels. The bathroom and bedroom were very clean. We would definitely book again.
Leopard25 (10/5): We had a fabulous stay at Morgan’s! - Communication and customer service is first class! Nothing is a problem. We stayed in a superior room and it was beautiful, spacious and had all the facilities you could want! The breakfast was delicious and I would highly recommend adding that on to your booking. The hotel itself self is within a grand building and it was lovely to see the decor matched the age and style of the building. The location is also fab and close to all amenities. Would definitely return.

The front of house staff are very friendly & helpful, highly recommended Hotel. The breakfast is fabulous, with a large choice. CORTINA1600E (2/5): No return call to book 5 night stay-disgraceful. - Disgraceful behavior by the Hotel receptionist (young girl not experienced) was told she would call back shortly regarding a 5 night stay in August she did not have the decency to call back so after us waiting all day i called back & spoke to a young man who portrayed himself as the duty manager,this morning having spoken to Hayley who is the duty manager turns out Reece who i spoke to last night is just a receptionist with no authority whatsoever. Reece was so rude & uncaring i eventually put down the phone & called back just now. Hayley was very kind & considerate regarding our complaint but of course we have decided to book another Hotel. Make of this comment what you will but a business model like this company should really train certain members of staff correctly . This took place on Thurs 19th March 2026.
