Anchen (6/5): - The hotel has some wonderful qualities. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, and the service throughout my stay was excellent. I also really enjoyed the view overlooking the old city, which made the stay feel special. The property overall was quiet and relaxing, and the public areas were inviting and well-maintained. That said, there were some drawbacks. The room itself was very small, and the bathroom design offered little privacy, with the added issue of water leaking from the shower. The AC system wasn’t functioning properly—despite being only 10°C outside, the room stayed uncomfortably warm. Additionally, the gym was extremely limited, with just three cardio machines available. Overall, while I appreciated the staff, service, and atmosphere, some improvements to the rooms and amenities would make the experience much more comfortable.

Marcia (6/5): OKKO Hotel Lyon - The check-in process was easy. The clerk at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. My room was not yet ready so she’s stored my luggage safely. When I came back. I went up to my room. The hallway was dirty. The room itself was not the cleanest. It was serviceable. The bed was fine. Sheets were fine. The bathroom was fine. The shower still could be a little bit cleaner. The liquid soap was fine. I had requested an early pick up with a taxi the following morning and the taxi was right on time. I truly appreciate the service at this hotel.

Katherine (8/5): - This hotel was very nice and in a great location. I would not stay here in the middle is summer again though. This is an “eco” friendly hotel but the AC settings are low - high. Even set at “high”, it was so hot and hard to sleep. I would estimate it was keeping the room at 78 degrees. Everything else was nice though. Super nice staff, small gym, water stations on each floor and a great location.
Joshua (10/5): - Great stay all round. The staff was very helpful and happy to speak English, after we initially tried to converse in some (very poor) French. They pointed out the things to do and places to see. The only slight concern was that the night receptionist did not know they had synthetic pillows (as one of us is asthmatic and the existing feather pillows could have caused respiratory issues). However, after pointing it out in their handbook in the room, she quickly resolved it by finding two pillows for us to use. Very comfortable bed - had a good sleep! It was also beautiful to see the city in the glow of the morning sun. We didn’t have breakfast, but The Club was available for complementary snacks and drinks outside of breakfast hours. Thanks for a great stay!

The hotel has a lounge open 24 hrs to get snacks, a variety of tea and coffee. The interir is modern and well designed.

HaiBin (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay in OKKO hotel Lyon Pont Lafayette. We were able to walk to the old town and some other major sites within 15 minutes. We appreciated very much the various snacks, cakes, fruits, and coffee provided by the hotel each afternoon and evening. We also tried breakfast for two mornings in the hotel and found the selections more than adequate. Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants and sight-seeing options. Area around the hotel is pretty peaceful.

Verified traveler (8/5): Our stay in Lyon - Rooms were more 'compact' than expected but lovely view and comfortable. Shower was clogged and leaked everywhere. Reported to staff who came to inspect. Receptionist initially told to us to wait for plumber. On seeking a change of room that morning, had to pack up and report to reception only to be given the room immediately beside our original room.... That said, staff were professional, pleasant and otherwise helpful throughout our stay. Despite the 'hiccup', would stay again if visiting Lyon. Location is ideal.

Room feels dark, there is no closet either, no fridge either. But I love that they provide lounge access and complimentary beverages and snacks, it is so helpful

The complimentary all day snacks and drinks were an added bonus and greatly appreciated. I would like to suggest that there be more hooks in the rooms for hanging towels and clothes since storage was limited.
XXXX (10/5): - Excellent location by the River Rhône about 20 minutes’ walk to St Jean Cathedral a great starting point for every tour by the River Saône where you can catch a cruise and also St Jean metro station for the funicular to Notre Dame on Fourviere Hill. Good clean room, Nespresso coffee machine but no fridge/minibar or bottled water provided. That said a free snack bar with hot drinks dispensers (so generous and definitely a first in our experience and we’ve been all over the world) through a spacious lounge right next to the lobby and lift, plus a convenient water dispenser on the stairs landing, more than compensate for it. Very helpful, friendly and courteous staff, Lilou and others are an added bonus. Will certainly stay again.

The location is great, right next to the river and within walking distance old Lyon, the opera, Croix Rousse. There's also a large choice of restaurants around.

Tim (6/5): - This hotel gets great reviews but we found that many of the rooms look quite different (older) to the images on Expedia/Hotels.com. No sitting area in the rooms except a chair, quite dark rooms, and tired pillows. And while functional, the rooms need maintaining/repairing as we had various broken fittings and older furniture. Staff are friendly and location is great - just a shame about the rooms.

We also enjoyed a couple of wines at a very reasonable price. Our room was spacious and very comfortable.
TING (6/5): - The hotel room have funny configuration. The toliet area is separated by see through glass with wooden blind which can be see through if someone is layng on the bed. It is somewhat embarrassing. When showering the water can easily flow from shower area to toilet area. I have to mop up every night after showing. The room also lack of refrigerator to store cold drink. The breakfast is very basic but all the staffs are all super nice.

While the room was comfortable, the bathroom didn’t have towel racks/handles. We found that as a bit of an inconvenience. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

Doris (8/5): - Unfortunately we had water issues, no hot water for a shower and both the coffee makers were not working. Coffee machine in the room also did not seem to function. A backup as in a kettle and some packets of coffee would have been nice or some vouchers to a coffee shop. Otherwise a nice hotel, staff friendly, very clean and centrally located.

Naushaba (8/5): Great hotel - Its a lovely hotel . Walking distance from everywhere. No metro close by though. We did have a little problem. There was a fly in the room and they had no insecticide. Of coarse one doesn’t travel with bug spray!

The only downside is somewhat the design of the bathroom, doesn’t leave much room for privacy. Apart from that I would definitely recommend for a short stay in Lyon!

The hotel is situated on the river Rhone, making it an ideal base for sightseeing. Slight downside was limited hanging space and storage inside the bedroom as we stayed for a week. We would recommend and return!

Olivia (10/5): Fantastic Stay - This hotel is perfect for a city break or business. We stayed as part of a short break but also worked remotely in the club. The room was clean and exactly what you needed and the staff were on hand at all times to provide anything we required. Location is absolutely perfect to get to local shops and restaurants and the evening plate and drinks were a lovely touch.

Verified traveler (8/5): Nice stay in central Lyon by the river - Welcoming, friendly and professional staff. Standard room ok, bathroom does not offer privacy but this was not a surprise. Location is perfect, close to river, shopping, sites, dining and transport. Club (lounge/lobby) is ok, just a bit dark and hot, not impressed by the snacks. Overall I would recommend and definitely stay there again.

Cindy (8/5): - The hotel is clean in general, and staff are nice, but we were allocated to a room that's not facing the street. We opened the windows and killed 6 mosquitos over 3 nights - at midnight as well, so sleep was really interrupted. There can be more lights in the room as well. The hairdryer was broken on the last night and the noise was so loud when in use. The room would probably be better and brighter if it's facing the street.
Edward (10/5): - The friendly staff were always available to tend to any of our needs. The location was ideal for exploring Lyon with a metro stop about ten minutes walk away. There was no mini bar but there were 24 hour hot and cold drinks and snacks available in the club area.
