- Jhansee (1/5): This place is a scam - not as advertised. - No guest facilities- no coffee or tea. Not even drinking water available. Room booking included breakfast but nothing was available. A fireplace or wood stove is advertised but no wood was provided. The towels were threadbare. Messaged the owner twice with no response. Would NEVER recommend this place.
- Damien (6/5): - There was a small leak on the roof and water kept dripping. There was also a really bad smell in the rooms. We had to open all windows to air it out and it was freezing.

- S (7/5): Mixed feelings but definitely not worth the price tag - The property features all the old rustic vintage vibes we where looking for What we didn’t like was the lack of privacy lest start we the veranda not being divided properly hence no privacy from the people in the room next to us trying to have a coffee in peace was mission impossible with kids playing on the veranda adjacent to us and in the pool like come on I’m coming out the room and I can see people having breakfast it’s not the best for anyone involved in this situation now . the room we left the room for 1-2 max and someone came in the room when it clearly stated on the booking that on one would be serving the room for 3 days so why did they enter the room without us knowing we will never know the one thing I didn’t like in our room what the bathroom yes you can keep the old rustic look while you do some upgrades the bathroom was very tired overall definitely not worth the price tag

- Danielle (7/5): Fine for a short stay. Good value for money - The location was ideal for the blue lagoon trip. Rooms big a little old but clean. Good value for money.

- Giorgos (4/5): - Breakfast was decent Pool wall tiles were peeling and they used duct tape to hold it in place, which it did not help and we kept finding pieces of the tape in the water. The area near the pool showers had a nasty sewage smell, so they brought a plumber luckily on the day of our checkout because they closed the pool without notifying anyone. The bathroom needs some refurbishing, there was a cracked shower with sloppy glue used to fix it, no sound insulation from the window so anyone on their front balcony can hear everything, many flies and mosquitoes went into the room, also spider webs. Room cleaning could step up a notch or two. The only staff working there was in charge of cooking breakfast and snacks, cleaning and checking in and out, so some things will not be fully cleaned. The treehouse was closed and rotting away. We asked for a baby cot which they confirmed and on the day of arrival told us they dont have one. High price for what you get. Either drop prices or renovate the rooms

- Lisa (10/5): A great property, lovely hosts. - Stunning property. Great breakfast. Good facilities. Nothing
- Phelps (7/5): Good - The bed was very comfortable. 10 out of 10.
The pool looked inviting and the breakfast setting was lovely. The bathroom door kept catching on the floor and the shower looked like it had been repaired with chewing gum.
- Matthias (8/5): Very good - We were able to check in on short notice. Had a really nice room with plenty of space. Real coffee for breakfast would have been nice, especially because the different in Cyprus is so good.
- Jindra (9/5): Perfect base to explore west part of Cyprus - It is very nice and convenient accommodation. We spent 3 days here. Unfortunately we couldn't try the swimming pool thanks to the bad weather. Breakfast is very simple but sufficient. You can buy and add your own stuff. We did so. For dinner we recommend highly O Stathmos. Really nice. Perfect base to explore west side of the island. Bathrooms were bit smelly. It was tricky to open windows as it was very cold. But we would stay again so no big deal.
- Eleni (9/5): Superb - I had the most wonderful stay at Ktima 1937 Kannides in Drouseia, Cyprus. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the peaceful surroundings to the beautifully kept property. A special thank you to Mrs. Militsa, the hostess, who made us feel so welcome and taken care of. Her kindness and attention to detail truly made our stay unforgettable. The breakfast was another highlight, delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented each morning. I would highly recommend Ktima 1937 Kannides to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic experience in Cyprus.
- Marina (7/5): Good - The plants in the garden and the outside area in general The doors could not be shut in the room
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gusargentina (6/5): Picturesque but uncomfortable - Excellent breakfast and very pleasant staff
Ease of check in The rooms were a bit run down
Extra duvet and pillows in the wardrobe looked dirty
Baby crib was broken
No drinking water provided
Hot water in shower limited
- Elliot (7/5): Good -
- Sandi (10/5): We enjoyed our stay at Ktima 1937, and will hopefully return very soon. Thanks for a great accommoda - The breakfasts were amazing. Melitza was always smiling and ready to serve a quick and tasty breakfast. Great way to start off the day. Even though it was cold, we enjoyed a lovely swim in the pool. The location is super...quiet, quaint little village with a lovely goats milk cheese making family run business. It's also close to Polis and other little villages, and the turtle museum. Great way to explore the beautiful area. Would be nice to have a mirror. The one in the bathroom is a bit hard to see close up.
- Tomas (7/5): With regard to the performance / price ratio - we were not disappointed, but not enthusiastic either - Nice staff at breakfast.
Breakfast was reasonable for the price 205 euros - for a 3-day stay - (1 adult and 2 children) - (off season in November)
After the first cold night, we asked the owner via the app for two more warm blankets and we got them. (Otherwise, the apartment was equipped with blankets more for the summer months). It was only on the last day of my stay that it occurred to me that the air conditioning can also be used for heating, so the problem was solved. The photos published on booking do not correspond to reality. However, I would like to praise the photographer and his work with the exposure... :-D
The apartment is generally quite dark and with little daylight.
Noise from the street - (apartment number 5 which stands alone) ... there are two wooden shutters in the apartment, but without any insulation, there is no glass, simply nothing - only wood between you and the street. So when the locals go to work in the morning, it makes a lot of noise (tractors, motorbikes, cars) and you can't sleep. So people sensitive to noise like me, and those who want a quiet and peaceful sleep, will definitely not get a good night's sleep here. (It didn't wake my sons though)
Mold in the shower, sometimes the plaster is peeling off the walls.
The accommodation has had its best years behind it... (it definitely doesn't look like it does in the photos).
More care would be needed for the entire area.
We were here in November - I think this place is definitely more pleasant in the hot summer when you can cool off a bit here at 650n altitude. However, it is quite cold here in November. (But that's a problem with my choice and not the accommodation).
- Ksenia (9/5): Nice place, worth its money. Will come again - Nice traditional house, fire place was great, clean rooms, spacious apartments It would be great to provide the guests with drinking bottled water. And it’s better to inform the guests that the host leaves at 2 o’clock, so there will not be any help with the wood for fireplace or smth else in this case.
- Lynne (7/5): Good -
- Katerina (2/5): Very poor - The poor sound insulation of the room.
- Κεπόλας (5/5): Passable - The door of the bathroom and main room don't closed.
- Lior (9/5): The place was lovely we enjoyed the breakfast. - Good sized rooms, equipped with kitchen utensils, good furniture, comfortable bed.
There’s a nice museum and the village center is at a relatively short walking distance.
Breakfast was good, all that we wanted. The towels smell funny. The shower can be updated (one room has only drapes for the shower, the other was ok, but a bit old), soap/shampoo was in these small packets, would prefer bottles or dispenser. Pool was cold, would be nice if it was heated.
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Eleni (8/5): Very good -
- Meryl (7/5): Lovely - Small , friendly , quiet
- Jon (9/5): Lovely Getaway - The accommodation was well equipped and comfortable in a good sized bungalow. Very quiet and ideal for a getaway. The location is 15 minutes from Polis and 25 minutes to Coral Bay. The entrance is very steep and could do with a road mirror opposite to help with getting onto the road safely.
- Panagiota (6/5): Pleasant -
- Papageorgiou (8/5): Very good -
- Aris (8/5): Very good -
- Kisliakova (9/5): Superb - extraordinary hotel in a mountain village, great location, authentic atmosphere in the room, very cozy, nice pool. I liked everything very much. I would like a cup of good coffee for breakfast, not instant coffee.
- Sharon (8/5): Very good -
- Nikos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nikos (10/5): Exceptional - Would definitely come back! Great breakfast to kick off your day!
- Antonis (7/5): Good -
- Eric (9/5): Getaway to get lost - Lovely gem - special mood! Breakfast is good, but could have better coffee. Pool is wonderful - rooms are very unique.
- Yolanda (7/5): Quaint, quiet stay - Friendly staff, prompt reply to requests, quaint, quiet little place. Bathroom was large, apartment adequately sized. Great location to get away from crowds, only a ten minute drive to Latchi. Apartment needed some upkeep, bathroom door lock was broken, wc plumbing was troublesome. Would have appreciated some complimentary water and coffee, little gestures go a long way!
- Richard (9/5): A much needed escape from the outside world was made possible in this tranquil, relaxing place. - Great location on the edge of the village with a few local Tavernas / restaurants within a few minutes walk.
10-15mins drive down to Polis and Latchi and a beautiful coastline with plenty more cafe, bars, restaurants and things to do.
As the village is elevated it benefits a slightly cooler temperature and the added almost permanent gentle breeze helps keep the edge off extreme warm temperatures.
Spacious, self contained rooms with small well equipped
kitchen dining area and sitting room with separate bedroom and shower room. Each room also has small patio area with direct access to the pool area which has enough Sun loungers for all. Generally a quiet, peaceful place with the sounds of normal village life in the background.
Breakfast is simple but tasty, well presented and ample size portions.
Not the first visit here and by no means will it be the last. There’s just something about the place that is just right ❤️
- Alexandros (7/5): Good - Staff were very hospitable
- Stavros (9/5): Relaxing and peaceful vacations - Relaxing, family-friendly place. Very friendly staff Internet not working in the room
- Robert (10/5): Traditional, quiet, unique, ten out of ten, exceptional - Traditional, quiet, fantastic location, excellent value for money, unique, a hidden gem Nothing
- Anna (7/5): Good - very friendly staff, very good breakfast and clean The pillows were very uncomfortable. Need to be replaced.
- Nicol (9/5): A really nice cozy and traditional place in the village of Droushia. - The room was facing the pool which was a nice and quiet place. The breakfast was traditional and the staff during that time were very friendly. Great airconditioning. When we arrived there were no staff members and the email explaining how to check in arrived a bit later that it should've. There were a few flies inside the apartment and the bedroom. Other than that everything was nice.
- Savvas (7/5): Good - The facilities are generally good, our flat was in a beautifully restored outbuilding featuring traditional stonemasonry. It was generally very clean with some minor quirks in the shower. Sitting around the pool by night was great. Breakfast was a joke and absolutely not worth getting up for.
- Georgia (10/5): Exceptional - Excelent!!!
- Maria (9/5): Superb -
- Charli (10/5): My partner and I stayed here for a week at the beginning of June and had an amazing time. Friendly hosts, the apartment - Friendly hosts with breakfast provided each morning. The location was perfect as it was so easy to explore the village. Apartment was lovely and clean. Nothing.
- Michalis (8/5): Very good -
- Polina (10/5): Everything was great!! - Everything Nothing
- Bart (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place in a lovely village
- P (9/5): Superb - Very nice and well equipped apartment. Lovely pool area to chill by and a very nice breakfast served by the pool. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice location in the village, though easy to miss the entrance, with tavernas nearby and a small supermarket in the village too. The shower head fitting was loose and needed fixing. There was some debris on the 2 bedside tables and the bedhead/pillows - I think it had come off the wall or ceiling. I don't think it was a cleaning issue, I think it happened after the room had been cleaned.
- Dimitra (10/5): Very pleasant stay - will be returning in the future ! - Very clean, beautiful little houses with a pool in a pretty village. It was particularly useful that there was a lot of parking space at the property.
- Clare (4/5): - Not a good experience for me, I'm afraid. You have to call to get the access code to the keybox. It would be easier if they could email/text on morning of arrival. The room was nice and clean although the sofa bed had some stains.
Unfortunately, i couldn't get wifi to work, and I tried everything. There was no one on site to help, even though I'd checked in exactly at time requested. I had to find another hotel locally who kindly allowed me to use their guest wifi. It was essential as i needed to coordinate collection of my daughter who was elsewhere with family that day. Several calls and texts didn't resolve it.
Secondly, a group of kids were hanging out just opposite the property and my room, letting off extremely loud firecrackers, shouting constantly and coming onto property and throwing water balloons. Other guests complained to me too. When i had wifi at the other hotel, i informed owner/manager of this. They promised to call local police but, to my knowledge, they never turned up. Kids will be kids etc but not what you want on holiday and it was for hours.
In the end, returned to the other hotel and luckily they had a room for the night for 2. Gorgeous, better room, cheaper (also with a pool) and lovely and quiet. Owner was on site.and extremely helpful with WiFi way before i even asked him about a room.
I was refused a refund because I'd already checked in. No acknowledgement of all afternoon wasted, inconvenienc, things not working and no-on.to.assist.
- Katarina (9/5): Nice stay, good value for money, friendly staff - Super breakfast, very friendly staff, nice and roomy rooms, playground for kids, beautiful backyard The water in the pool was cold due to weather
- Konstantinos (9/5): Superb -
- Tomáš (7/5): Good - The location is amazing, especially in the summer months, this place is great for cooling off, and the local tavern is a very pleasant authentic place with a very accommodating owner. Breakfast was tasty, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. What bothered me a little was that it was the same every day, but otherwise, it was fine. The rooms felt a bit musty after winter and had a slight smell of mold. I was slightly bothered by the poorly equipped kitchen, but I understand the owners don't invest much in it since people mostly just come there to sleep. What annoyed me the most was the lack of a proper, sharp kitchen knife. But that's just my obsession with quality knives.
- Theodora (10/5): Exceptional -
