- Etzban (8/5): - If you don't have transportation please bear on mind that from the train station to the hostel it's a 15 min walk uphill which for some people it can be a little bit difficult. The restaurant was the best. Full meal and a beer for 15 Euro. Friendly staff.

El personal muy amable, las camas súper cómodas y muy limpio. El servicio de desayuno muy correcto. Hemos viajado con niños pequeños y es muy positivo poder educar también durante el tiempo de ocio, por el lugar en el que está situado (alejado pero con buen acceso en tren y coche) y por poder enseñar que todos encajamos perfecto. - Daniel (10/5): Lovely space to base to see the city - I had a lovely stay, some of the negative reviews put me off, but glad to say no issues, I can walk hills no issues and it was not as bad as others make out, excellent routes into the city and later trains at weekends so can go out
- Dario (8/5): In Out Very good - The hill to get to the hotel is quite tiring. I think at least breakfast was included in the hotel price. The hotel staff are very kind.
- Djilali (6/5): - You will have only one towel for your 4 days or more. You cant stay late at barcelona because last train to come back at the hostel is around 11:30 PM.
- Mayra (8/5): - We liked almost every thing, except that it seems there was a maintenence job right outside our room that stopped around 1.30 am. Made really difficult to sleep for 2 nights. Also, we didnt find shampoo or soap in the shower (we normally find it in all hostals). Finally, the dinner was only pizza, no more options in the menu. Otll be great to have more options. Other than that, the place is great.

- Morteza (4/5): Stay in “ InOut” Hostel in Barcelona - First of all you need to know that this place is good only for the single backpackers and not recommended at all for the family stay or couples. Climbing of the steep hill road from Metro Station to the hotel which takes 20 minutes with luggage was a big challenge, specially since I arrived at night and it was dark. The bed was not comfortable but the sheets and pillow was clean. The breakfast is not included and for a buffet breakfast you need to pay 5 euros but it’s whorthed since the hotel is located in the mountain and nothing around. The good thing is the facility is hiring the employees with disability but it impacts the level of of service for the guests. The other positive point is the Metro Station is just 20 minutes walking distance and you can get everywhere like Airport or Train Station or Bus Terminal in Barcelona by Metro.

- ??? (8/5): - 値段が低い一方で観光地からは遠く、交通費も含めれば別の場所にした方が安く済むかもしれません。ホステルが坂の上のあるので、荷物が多い場合は大変かもしれません。そのぶん利用者は少なめなため、10人部屋のドミトリーでも静かで快適に過ごせました。私の場合、2月の中旬に訪れましたが、私を含めて10人部屋の宿泊者は2人でした。多少の不便さを妥協できるならオススメです。

- Siena Erica (6/5): - it was a pretty decent one night stay, it was about a 7 minute walk from the train station which was convenient. however getting up the steep hills with suitcases was exhausting. it’s also kinda sketch at night since it’s near wildlife/forests. so when we came back from the main part of barcelona we saw a boar which was kinda scary but it’s fine. we get provided towels and thin sheets as blankets which were fine for one night, but if i were to stay there longer it wouldn’t be ideal. our room and bathroom were clean, the “ac” was a fan that took a little to cool the room but wasn’t bad. we also only had 1 night so we couldn’t really explore the rest of the property such as the pool and the dining/restaurant area but i’m sure if we got the chance it would’ve been decent. the front desk guy also spoke good english and was very helpful. mid stay ngl

- Mandy (10/5): - Het is een prachtige, gezellige locatie. metrostation op 20 loopminuutjes. Moet wel goed ter been zijn. Uitzichten en rust zijn onbetaalbaar, wilde varkentjes voeren is echt leuk! Het concept " sociale werkplaats" is uniek en zeer geslaagd!!! De stapelbedden liggen heerlijk en alles is behoorlijk schoon. Tip; het ontbijt is top! Kies ipv diner voor de pizza, deze is echt heerlijk!!! Ik kom hier zeker weer terug! Xxx
- Nika (6/5): - The staff forgot that we ordered lunch so we have sime difficulties because son is celiac and then afterwards they wanted to charge us more than it was agreed. At the pool there was very noisy and crowdy - full of disabled children (I don’t have nothing against them but some of them were very loud and some did their big toilet needs just in the pool, so it was not apropriate to swim there). It is quite an uphill walk from the trainstation to the hostel, especially if you have luggage.

- delphine (8/5): Fin de séjour à Barcelone - J'ai bcp apprécié cette auberge après avoir passé plusieurs jours dans le centre ville de Barcelone. L'espace piscine est très agréable, ainsi que la terrasse, la verdure environnante, et l'espace autour de l'auberge. Proche de la gare. A 20 Mn du centre en transport en commun. Bonne pizza et croque monsieur succulent. Prévoir des courses avant de venir si vous n'êtes pas vehiculés car vous ne trouverez rien sur place, pas même une simple supérette. Un super restaurant avec spécialités locales, avec prix très abordable, et bonne ambiance en face de la gare. Espace literie très propre et correct. Personnel très gentil. Cuisine avec frigo, plaques de cuisson, micro-ondes.... Par contre, pas de petit déjeuner buffet. Seulement vente de croissant frais. Super rapport qualité prix

- Marjorie (6/5): Economical for a price - I checked in quite late and the woman checking people in was quite overwhelmed. She was managing the cafeteria as well as check-ins, which is truly a 2 person job. The location was lovely, although there’s nothing nearby. You have to walk up a steep hill to arrive that’s about 12 min walking from the train station. I shared a room with some of my colleagues for our masters course. It was fairly clean, but there was an awful smell that came from the bathroom and every time we showered the bathroom flooded. I probably won’t stay there again but it was cheap so it was fine for the occasion.

Hard work commuting via the train station as very steep hill getting to the hostel. Difficult with luggage. But enjoyable stay. Food was of a good standard but didnt like donught and sandwich as a choice fot breakfast.

Be prepared to spend 10 minutes walking up a somewhat steep hill. There’s also no AC, so if you go during warmer months it will be hot. Otherwise, it’s very clean and we had no issues with the staff. Free parking is a plus too

- Verified traveler (2/5): - Codizioni inadeguate, disumane che InOut hostal di Barcellona rivolge ai clienti che come me hanno scelto di pernottare in questa struttura attratti da un presentazione ingannevole . Ubicata in zona non servita da trasporti pubblici come : metro, pullman, treni. Per raggiungere la stazione ferroviaria bisogna incamminarsi per circa 30 min. e poi da li poter raggiungere la città. In sintesi posto isolato in montagna. Io arrivo di notte alle ore 01:00 con difficoltà a trovare il sito e qui comincia un incubo che descrivo: Alla reception mi viene data la chiave dopo aver pagato la tassa turistica e mi dirigo verso il mio alloggio, aprendo la porta vengo investito da un' aria calda e maleodorante da non poter entrare, ma voglio capire perché e vedo più di 10 persone tra maschi e femmine nella stessa camerata priva di climatizzazione ma con dei ventilatori al soffitto, finestre chiuse per non essere assaltati da insetti come zanzare e scarafaggi. Vado a dare un occhiata ai servizi igienici che igienici non sono. Insomma struttura fatiscente alle condizioni solo per essere chiusa. Non ho pernottato e sono andato via chiedendo il rimborso di quello che avevo già pagato, naturalmente mi viene negato sentendomi dire che non era rimborsabile. Ma la mancanza non è stata mia per non aver usufruito del loro servizio, ma l'inadeguata e disumana condizione che mi si è presentata creandomi non poco disagi.

- Simone (8/5): Idyllic hostel surrounded by nature - It was my first time staying at a hostel, so I have no idea how it compared with similar structures. The location is idyllic, set as it is in the hills/mountains outside Barcelona. It's relatively easy to get to because there's a train/metro station right below the hostel. Getting to the hostel from the train, however, is a trek up a long, steep hill, so it may not be for everyone. The rooms themselves seemed decent. Some have wooden bunk beds with lockers incorporated, which were very comfortable. Other rooms had metal beds, which seemed a little bit less comfortable. I went in July, so it was pretty hot and the only air conditioning I saw was in the reception area. My room had ceiling fans and the temperature at night was bearable. The majority of the staff had special needs, which is a commendable enterprise. They were friendly and hard-working. The bathroom facilities were suitable and clean. The pool was great, well-maintained, clean and surrounded by nature. It also has a wheelchair ramp, which is awesome. On the whole, this place is lovely and I enjoyed my stay very much. Watch out for the wild boar who roams the structure!
- hailuwegderes (10/5): - the hostel is the best hostel i ever seen. very big compound very whitish clean,the hostel have big space for any one to enjoy with out disturbing one another and relax up to what ever time he wanted, the bed room is very clean with big space and clean air. the rent is very reasonable . as the hotel is in the mountain its a bit far from the train station and climbing is a problem especially for elder people, beter if the hostel find means of transportation. some of the staffs are not cooperative to print my boarding pass the language is a bit difficult to understand.

We had to walk uphill and back down just for change for washing machine ( one washer/dryer for entire hostel). Towels and sheets had to be rented, the prison showers delivered either freezing or scalding water, other guests had on very loud club music until 2 a.m. Some guests had such bad hygiene that we lost our appetites during breakfast.

You need to change to the metro to go to sightseeing spots -Big groups come almost every weekend, and they are noisy until late night -You have to walk on a long uphill road about 10-15 minutes. -There is no store in this area -The hostel may require you to move to another room while you are staying because they prioritize big groups. -Narrow kitchen (around 3x3m) -Good breakfast (it costs about 4 euros if you eat downtown) *Not all-you-can-eat buffet. +Good rural view +You may see wild boars +Kind staff +This is only one cheap hostel near the north part of Barcelona. Only downs were we had some ants in the room, it was a hike to get up there, and WiFi only in the reception area. But when in Barcelona, you end up not caring too much. Great hostel!
- Niklas (6/5): Some love it, some leave as they arrive. - If your expectation is a desolate a 250 bed not-for-profit hostel run by a bunch of "special" or mentally challenged people you will still be surprised. I think it is an organiced scam. It's impossible to get there after midnight unless you taxi. 9 euro for a frozen pizza while credit cards not accepted with less than 10 euro. 2 euro for bottle of water. It was nice though and I had a good rest.
- Sarim (8/5): An excellent retreat, great for longer stays - This beautiful hostel, situated in the mountains, is excellent for a long, peaceful stay near Barcelona. The train station being at ten minutes descent from the hostel means that you can get to the city-center in 15 to 20 mins max. There is a bit of a hike from the station to the hostel which made it hard for me to drag a 30kg bag, but without the extra weight it's not difficult to manage. The staff were very polite with us. The gentleman at the reception was very nice and also the cleaning staff whom we briefly interacted with in the morning. One of the most plesant experiences was the breakfast in the morning at the resturant; the place has a great sense of community and warmth, which is rare. Come here if you're looking for something different.

- Rahoul (10/5): Hostel with a difference - Run by a not for profit organisation aiming at social integration by employing differently abled persons. The result is great facilities at an excellent price. Situated In the Corserolla national park , you get a splendid view of the mountains and a serene place to stay, only 30 minutes from Barcelona's city centre. Recommend INOUT hostel to any backpacker seeking a great place to stay with the added bonus of supporting social integration:)
- Harrison (4/5): So far away - I got in to Barcelona around 11:30pm on a Thursday night, so naturally I wanted to go straight to my hostel and put my stuff down to go out that night. That did not happen because this hostel is so far out of the way. I took a taxi from the airport to Plaça Catalunya where my friend's hostel was located and then had to take another taxi all the way out to what I believe is a National Park outside of Barcelona. Luckily, taxis in Barcelona aren't too expensive, but it was still around 20 euros to get there from the city center. The service here was fine, the rooms were very unassuming, and the air conditioning was nonexistent. The next day, I discovered that the metro rail passes also work for the train (like an actual train, not just the subway/metro) that, fortunately, runs from Plaça Catalunya to the stop close to the hostel. The walk from the train stop to the hostel itself is almost 10 minutes and is uphill and gets very hot during the day. Overall, the hostel was tolerable, and I have no complaints with any of the amenities, but the location is just bad and extremely inconvenient.
- Ben (8/5): Hostel in Barcelona - Really quiet hostel 25 mins from the centre of barcelona. We only used it to sleep and spent almost all of our time in the city. Free breakfast and free WiFi! Staff extremely friendly and the majority speak English which helps.
- Des (8/5): Expectations exceeded... - This hostel is excellent if you're looking for value and peace. The breakfast is good and included in the price. The staff is very helpful and kind. You will get some exercise if taking the metro, but the convenience is still there. If you don't like the hustle and bustle of the city, but ready access to Barcelona, this is a haven. For the money, this hostel can't be beat.

- Nick (4/5): Out-dated Pictures and in need of Maintenance - I got there only to find out the pool was out of order. There was construction all around the sports area. In my room, the door for the bathroom stall could not shut or lock. O bought a pizza which was a simple frozen pizza which would have been fine if they had actually cooked it completely. Beds were comfy it seemed pretty secure and it was quiet because of it's distance from the city. Even saw some 'wild pigs' with piglets. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- Chris (10/5): BRILLIANT - Very easy to get into Barcelona city from close by rail/metro station. Very helpul staff. Driving to and from the hostel to the airport is nerve wracking so get good advice. Restaurant is also fine and the wine is reasonable and cheap. Breakfasts are excellent and the location in the hills is ideallic.
