As a foreigner, I appreciate when Koreans don't rush for every small thing. Only basics but everything worked as expected. The view was pretty good. This is not a l-ove hotel. We would stay here again. The people who used the room before us were eating ramen in the room and that smell was somewhat strong. After opening the windows and using a spray things improved much.

• Maarik (10/5): Clean, quiet, and great value: perfect for a relaxing stay if you have a car. - We had a great stay at Familia Hotel. The hotel is located in a slightly remote area, but if you rent a car it’s a perfect place to stay, quiet and beautiful. Everything was very clean, and the rooms were tidied up every day. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help whenever we needed it. They also have a sweet dog and cat, which made our stay feel extra warm and welcoming :) I highly recommend this place to couples or anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. The value for the price is hard to beat!
• 김 (10/5): - 상당히 넓고 쾌적합니다. 베란다도 좋았고 바다뷰도 좋았어요. 침구도 뽀송하게 좋았고,. 잠자리가 예민해서 안맞으면 잠을 잘 못자는데 후기에 안락하다해서 선택했거든요. 잘 잤어요. 룸안에 싱크대가 있어 반신반의 했는데 깔끔합니다. 관리에 신경 쓰는게 느껴져요. 대로에서 10미터라 접근성도 좋고 호텔에서 주상절리 가는 길이 걷기에 예뻐요. 직원분이신지 사장님이신지 정말 친절하세요. 서귀포나 중문쪽 가시면 추천합니다. 추석에 가서 조식이 휴무였던거?

• Bram (10/5): Charming seaside-view hotel with exceptionally friendly staff and lovely rooms - The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and our stay at this delightful hotel was superb, even more so due to the lovely conversations we had with the owners. The breakfast was a nice mix of fruit, a salad, some luncheon meat, a nice cream soup, some toast with jam, and some kimchi pancakes. The only improvement I could think of would perhaps be a bit more variation of the breakfast over the multiple days of our stay.

• Angela (10/5): Exceptional - We rented a car and drove to the hotel and it was easy to find with a satnav it was also located close to a lot of attractions and beaches. The hotel staff were friendly and all rooms had a balcony and the view was pretty. It was a quiet area unsure how accesible it is without a car. They do have breakfast options but we did not try it.

• To (9/5): Recommend this place when traveling to Seogwipo - The room was spotless and comfortable with a nice view from the balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful. Two convenience stores within walking distance from the hotel. We also enjoyed the camp-fire provided by the hotel. The doors opened and closed with a squeaky sound that needs to be fixed.

• MI KYUNG (10/5): 만족스런 파밀리아호텔 - 남편과 여름휴가지로 정한 제주의 두번째 숙소였다. 첫날은 신화월드호텔이었는데 이곳은 규모는 작았지만 실속이 꽉찬 아주 만족스런 숙소였다. 침구도, 청소도 어메니티도 아주 정갈했고, 내집처럼 쓸고 닦은 정성이 가득해보였다. 조식 신청을 했는데 기대한것 이상으로 정말 좋았다. 삶은계란, 샐러드, 과일, 빵,김치전, 쥬스,우유,고구마,커피 등...딱 필수로 먹을것만 접시에 담아 1인씩 주셨고, 식당은 작았지만 창가로 보이는 정원이 싱그러웠다. 숙소에서는 조금 떨어졌지만 바다도 보이는 오션뷰다. 근처에 마리조아라는 특별한 식당이 있어 찾게된 파밀리마호텔은 재방문하고 싶은 곳이다.

Property is clean and well kept, owner is able to communicate in English. Breakfast is available at a small cost if you let them know a day in advance. A great place if you’re driving and if you want a quiet and peaceful resting place away from the bustle of the cities and towns.
